Hello Villagers--

Synchronicity and irony are the gold star words for this past months' events. Of course, just as I had gotten used to the idea of parenting three children and announcing it--I even more abruptly had to get used to the idea that I wouldn't (yet). On July 19th, I mourned the possibility of this third unexpected child. And though I am still grieving the loss, I am now at point to see what blessings are possible manifestations of that loss-- and use them to their fullest.

And far less tragic but sadly as impactful was that my smartphone was stolen while I was providing asked for assistance in a neighbor's domestic violence situation. I ashamed to admit how much that affected my daily life-- wow. It was my phone's hotspot connection I depended on for my net surfing---so when I was finally ready to start talking about the broken mess I became because of that pregnancy's end-- I couldn't.

July has been one huge face slap of reality--- and though it has been unpleasant-- I have come to assess my current situation and moving from it with critical realism. Taking full acceptance of my shortcomings and how I have allowed them to weigh me down. Seriously, I've had enough of the kinda good enough life or I'll make it work-- really those are the type of things that just hang in the closet with the tags on it. So basically it's yard sale time--- or just put it out on the curb time-- it's taken me a while to get this point and I know it will take a lot more time and sweat to get what is worthy in every facet of my life--and I'm ok with that.

Anyway, I'm attempting to catch up and hope I'll be able to be a more regular presence. On Saturday, I'm getting real internet hooked up and cutting out the TV-- baby steps...

And Ulli, I just read about the passing of your friend and share that feeling of loss in a different yet timely way...((Hugs)).

That's interesting...one thing im very sensitive too is feeling trees/plants vibrations and a marijuana plant was one of the strongest ive felt...a lot of vibration coming off of tht plant! It seemed more alive then other plants to me because of tht.

I used to lay under a canopy of them and just breath; if felt very right, very relaxing.

A lot of noise in the forest tonight. The creatures are out.

I'm sitting on my front porch under a dark moon listening to a chorus of frogs, crickets and coyotes howling across the forest.

It's cooler now unseasonably for mid summer -sipping a mug of hot herbal tea I made the night before the new moon to warm my bones up.

In all seriousness though this thought crossed my mind as I look at the picture...I guess if u take the story to be truthful in some way...this doesn't make much sense. Why would adam and eve all of sudden feel the need to put clothes on but this tribe doesn't? Makes it seem like we were animals groomed for something different...

I feel bad for the parents in this situation because all they wanted was to be compensated for not only the damage done to their property but fracking also jeopardized the well-being of their family’s physical and mental health and, rightfully so, they wanted to be compensated for that too! To agree to also have their children gagged to keep the deal intact is something that they are going to have to live with for the rest of their lives. One wonders how they can even look at themselves in the mirror every morning after agreeing to something like that but they sure didn't have much choice in the matter, did they?
