Beef cattle have been trampling tropical rainforestland for years (our fault not theirs). The good news i read somewhere is that reforestation is really picking up these days.

Jeepers Carmody our cattle, dairy and beef live on grass all year round. And there is absolutely no need to be cutting down rainforest to be feeding cattle either! Holistic management and mob grazing can bring back deserts to fine grasslands again but it takes stock to do it. Desertification is caused by taking stock off land and also set stocking the land. This can be reversed by replicating how the great herds moved naturally a hundred years ago.

Also there is no shortage of land in America for stock to graze on. There are so many absentee owners. Budding farmers can lease land for next to nothing from all reports. And using Holistic Management methods can make a good profit.

Whatever the "end of days" is supposed to be, to me it marks merely transition.
There is no end, and there won't be a collective mass dying event.

Before I turned spiritual I lived a city life, full of stress and ambition,
only caring about worldly things and my own success.
Then came my awakening, and I knew I could not continue my old patterns. That was in the late seventies.
So the adjustment to my rebirth, the letting go of old habits, which I knew did not serve me well,
was really rather painful. But there was no end, ever. Only new beginnings.

Now Im living a life free from desires, always grateful,
and with the ability to manifest all that I need. Serene.
When I have a spell of discontent it's my lower self pining for the cheap thrills of my earlier life.
Knowing this I just ignore that voice, and get back to the Here and Now, my true home.
Ok, that's the story of one individual.

What is happening in the world at large is that the time has come for the collective
to go through the same type of transition, for humanity to wake up,
and experience such a period of massive changes, one individual at a time.

But it's not the end of the world, never. It is 'childhood's end', or the end of adolescence,
and the beginning of humanity becoming mature.

The meteors, tidal waves, comets, etc, are all inner dimensional harbingers of the changes which will happen as people make their adjustments on a large scale. Businesses will close, new relationships will be formed, house moves, etc...
Change change change.

Once I got safely to the other side, the life Im now living, I had to thank the divine hand for the miraculous guidance
that was made available during the darkest moments of my transition years. It became obvious that a higher intelligence knew what it was doing.

The same is now true for humanity at large. Mankind will not be left alone, to die, but must pass through these tests and trials to have its diverse limbs cemented together, to become one being.

It took me years and years to learn that the way to jump off the hamster wheel is by an act of willingness to be happy.
In the past I had always wanted outside influences to change my state of mind,
but I learnt finally that it has to come from within.
In the end I could not even use my chemistry as an excuse for those depressions.
It was simply my old self kicking and screaming...
and negative thinking, cynicism, pessimism, bad outlook on life.
So I shut it up with the occasional gummy bear bag, or ice cream.

But just step into happiness was tough, and humor finally did it for me.
The wheel is still spinning now, but the hamster is dead.

I loved Ouspenky's book Ulli. I've had it for years but only just read it. His journey, but also what was happening in Russia at the time is fascinating.

I wish I could read it again. I made several attempts, but my transformation took away my patience for books.

Im an internet freak now.

But at least it had the effect to speed up my ability to absorb and learn.
