Here and Now...What's Happening?

Greetings, villagers. Life is busy these days.

Manifesting seems to be a process of continual movement that is augmented by being able to pay attention to everything going on around me and being able to determine what is pertinent to moving forward and also what arises to take me in the wrong direction. And both seem to be occurring. Being able to differentiate between the two can be difficult if desires get in the way.

Once when I was younger I gave up a great job with a future for another job for more money. Seemed like a good decision at a time but ended up being terrible. A good lesson, one that brought me to the realization that following a path of inner fulfillment was much better than following one of economic gain. It literally came to the point where it was impossible for me to be able to stay someplace where I felt I no longer fit. This became so extreme, that I gave up a guaranteed job with no replacement in sight, leading to an extended period of unemployment.

Still being in the phase of life where economic concerns are still prevalent, small children to take care of, mortgages and car notes pressing, is the conundrum that leads most to accept situations that do not align with their self-perceived life-paths.

But living in times where so much is on the line, where we are not guaranteed a tomorrow that is somewhat similar to today gives rise to an even deeper state of cognitive dissonance.

If the world changes, how much will the world I've invested years or decades in creating, change? If the world changes, how much will I need to change to keep pace with it?

For me, the answer boils down to a small smile and a warm joy that births inside of me. To the realization that I have not invested my life in the accumulation of material possessions. That, if there is fundamental change, walking out into the world with only the clothes on my back would not present me with any internal difficulties. Or, perhaps it is the anarchist scorpio within me that seeks to bring order to outer chaos and conflict, that thrives in unstable and evolving conditions and environments. But, perhaps, it is what seems to be a certain knowledge that the world cannot continue as it is and it will change beyond recognition in our lifetimes.

And if it doesn't? Each moment will continue to bring its challenges and the peace that lies beyond will still beckon in the silent moments and the stillness of zen living. Personal and collective evolution will continue without dramatic and traumatic shifts and life will be in the details and the joys of total immersion in the now moment.

Come to think of it, that is the future, regardless.

So it is ALL good. No matter what.

Hello Rahkyt and All of You!

So you're a scorpio like me; always enjoyed your posts

More so i've got Sun conj Pluto today, no wonder you pop up as i pop in for the first time in a long time. Also i just posted about "investing many years of your life" "keeping two or more feelings/thoughts in your mind simultaneously" etc but in another context concerning a thread about David Wilcocks latest blog.

I'm slowly recovering from Lymedisease and just "now" i had the energy to start to get rid of tons of stuff that has somehow entered my life

That, if there is fundamental change, walking out into the world with only the clothes on my back would not present me with any internal difficulties. Or, perhaps it is the anarchist scorpio within me that seeks to bring order to outer chaos and conflict, that thrives in unstable and evolving conditions and environments. But, perhaps, it is what seems to be a certain knowledge that the world cannot continue as it is and it will change beyond recognition in our lifetimes.

And if it doesn't? Each moment will continue to bring its challenges and the peace that lies beyond will still beckon in the silent moments and the stillness of zen living. Personal and collective evolution will continue without dramatic and traumatic shifts and life will be in the details and the joys of total immersion in the now moment.

Come to think of it, that is the future, regardless.

I'm glad you're recovering, Transiten, I do not know much about lime disease except that it can be very serious and gotten from ticks. So your return to health is a real blessing indeed. When I was younger, I got a Scorpio tattoo on my upper right shoulder blade. Not someplace that could be visible unless I was shirtless, but my ode to a generation's preoccupation with body art. I thought it was pretty cool but never really considered what I was doing in a larger view. I knew that in some traditions, I'm thinking particularly of Judaism here, tattoo art was considered to be wrong but I never considered why.

The esoteric reasons why that might be the case only became clear when I saw the movie, "What the Bleep Do We Know", now many years ago. It was the scene where Amanda was lying in the bathtub after realizing the power of water and the power of intention. She had written affirmations all over her body and had immersed herself to take full advantage of the power of creative visualization. Tattoos are a marker of intention. Impressing into your skin, in your field, a belief, or a reality, image or idea that then "sets" itself, becomes an even firmer and inviolate part of your overall being.

I still appreciate tattoo art, may even get more. Maybe not, I seem to have no strong feelings either way. But when I look at some of the things that people put on their bodies these days, I really have to wonder if they realize what kind of reality for themselves they are imaging and intending into being. All of that said, to say, I guess I'm biased in the matter, but Scorpio is a pretty interesting star sign, one that I've perhaps over-identified with at times. It's just really really strong in me. Transformation seems to be my thing in this life.
