Here and Now...What's Happening?

Animal totem...

3 times in the past weeks I have seen stunningly beautiful, metallic teal-green bees. The last one flew into my car when I opened the door, and proceeded to walk in a circular route on my seat. Somehow, I knew it would not sting me, so I put down my hand and let him walk onto my fingers. Once removed from the car, he did not want to fly away (unlike most of the bees and wasps I liberate from my house - they usually take right off.) This little guy just wanted to walk around on my hand. After a minute of this, I decided to give a gentle puff of air to help send him on his merry way. Nope. He just hunkered down, weathered the gust, and started walking around again. I was in the middle of a parking lot, no where near vegetation to coax him to go to, so I was finally able to coax him to walk on the luggage rack on top of my car (and assumed he was just fine, and departed whenever he wanted when I then drove away.)

More than once in the past, I have laughed when I let some tiny creature out of my house, thinking that it was probably highly sentient - possibly even a reincarnated Buddha. (Note to reincarnating Buddhas: please do not reincarnate as a mosquito!)

Well, this little guy was probably highly sentient. At least, we communicated. (Or, perhaps he was sentient and I am merely under the illusion that I am sentient.)

So, I guess I have a bee totem right now.

My colleague had been singing in a church and there was this woman who seemed to really enjoy the concert and came to thank her. My friend then asked her friends who all knew Josefin, including me. When i pop into this thread i see your face!!! You and Josefin could be twins

Ulli, I love the green on those city buildings. That would ease so much...the pollution, the stress...and I, for one, would much rather walk around a town looking like that than a concrete jungle.

I must figure out the message with the cars. This morning, car number three wouldn't start. This is bizarre. I currently have car number four, and it is Mike's baby. All our cars are older so I can understand some maintenance issues, but all in the same weekend? It is truly odd. Must be a message in there somewhere. I hope the message is not that nature doesn't like cars, haha, because though this is more than likely true, we depend on them...and will continue to depend on them until we don't have to any more. As of this morning, I can't teleport Em to band practice.

I've noticed my phone is going haywire, too. Surely, I mean surely, this all wouldn't be related, and wouldn't be caused by someone's energy. Would it?

This is my theory. Once a person has woken up and opened their mind to the supernatural world, especially the higher world, then an orderly unfoldment takes place...like, lesson 1, lesson 2, lesson 3, etc.

When I started to study astrology, reading a pile of books, all with great interest,
I suddenly would be meeting people of the same sign...
there would be the month of the Geminis.
Later on I would meet only Aquarians, etc.
This pattern went on for years.

I'm convinced that when one is observing one's dreams and thoughts,
paying close attention, then one will see the correlation, between the inner and outer, until eventually the biggest AHA! moment of all arrives...
that the self causes stuff.


Blockages of traffic, broken down cars...at the root is often either too much ambition and desire, or a real fear of what's ahead, so as to create the excuse for not going.
Meanwhile when things flow evenly its because one is in a state of inner equilibrium, with full intent on the goal.

There is that story in the bible, about Jonah on the ship in the storm.
And the other passengers figured out that the storm was caused by someone in their midst, so they threw dice...
and thus they discovered it came from Jonah's relationship with God (subconscious) and so they made him walk the plank,
to stop the storm.
So to that society the idea of stuff being caused by our own subconscious selves
was something quite normal and natural.

That's interesting, Ulli. It got me to thinking. Last week, really late at night (for me), I had a big Aha moment. I saw connections between things that I never did before. And what came from this moment was seeing my intention, or something I really wanted, become reality, and I got this particular information/thing I wanted. It wasn't a material item, it was something I have wanted to understand for a long time, and something that is attainable through understanding. And several things all clicked together in this one moment, and I saw-for the first time ever, even though I have been watching for a while-that my intentions had an affect on my reality, on the real world I see.

And this weekend's trip showed this, too. I could have stressed and gone into this weekend creating a negative experience. But I set out to change the experience with positivity, projecting what I wanted to happen, thus intended to happen, and it did.

So, I'm looking at this car thing. Earlier in life, I could see this as a sign I needed to slow down. Stop for a moment. But now, I live at a more realistic pace. And in the past few weeks, I have been making huge headway on identifying the source of certain fears and have released many (ye old shadow work, methinks). But...since the problems with these cars were not serious (though so far one problem is going to cost $650), the message might be to stop and double check. Which I will gladly do And, if this has been a test of my balance, so far it remains in tact. Only very minor upset, and just for a moment.

Aw, geez, Reilly. You're just saying that because we both noticed the weird and impossible family resemblance in person. Bwahahaha. Thanks for saying so, just the same. And dangit, you know darned well I did blush...

Get our stuff together, look back, ness is in terrorist check--there's metal in her head (not from any surgery that she is conscious of). She is a little shook up, and definitely more interested in research I been doing on implants.

Just heard on the radio: they have discovered that lab rats have a kind of NDE.

Now there were two directions to take this research. They might have explored the possibility of rats having a fom of consciousness closer to our own than previously thought. But no, the conclusion seems to be that we all... die like rats.

That is the origins of scientific principle, when done by the engineering mind. The mind that would be a mid level rubber-stamp paper-pusher cleric, in the middle ages.

Bacon's inductivism, vs Descartes Deductive/rationalism. that the engineering mind works from negative projection of deductive reasoning into rationalism, and forces prediction from what has been written before.

It throws away observation in favor of what it knows.

This is not science, it is pure projected emotion, in the form of filtered and 'blind to it's origins' thought formation.

Descartes was trapped in the box and limited himself to the idea of only creating from what is the box.

Whereas Bacon threw the box away and observed, in full awareness that he, as a observation platform, shaped the view, and attempted to compensate for that.

Descartes failed to recognize the internal shaping aspect as projection into the formation of all that follows - for all the wordiness wasted on trying to cover that up. Negative proofing by forcing nature into expectations and projections, and all that.

Bacon was alchemical and Buddhist-open, in comparison.

Bacon's scientific revolution was an open and expanding universe, whereas Descartes' universe was a closed one forced by human desire.

Descartes' universe is doomed to fail, even though it tries to build ever more complex shapes from it's limited box bits. This is why you never let engineering minds drive mental revolutions, as they fold back on themselves.

But they can't see this, so they force as hard as they can for their box and walls, running roughshod over all the rest.

They make an excellent zipperhead warrior (as praetorian guard) for the academic machine.

Descartes ended up existing in projected dogma, not realizing that he did. Thus the appeal of an apparent openness - to the ultimately 'unaware of itself' closed mind. Very comfortable and easy to adopt.

when science has problems it has to retreat to the parent and ask what is going on. it has to retreat to philosophy, it's origin point. Scientific method and science is a minor subset of philosophy. Nothing more. Like all angry children, it does not want to talk to it's parent, it wants to figure it out on it's own. That's fine.

But it needs to understand it's origins.

The more difficult a problem to solve, the more basic, the more fundamental the mistake.

First... to realize the problem exists. Science fights to deal with the understanding that a fundamental problem exists.

And when it does, it must ask it's parent.... philosophy, 'Who am I?'

"Some of the most important debates in the history of scientific method center on: rationalism, especially as advocated by René Descartes; inductivism, which rose to particular prominence with Isaac Newton and his followers; and hypothetico-deductivism, which came to the fore in the early 19th century. If you create a rule, you've got rolling and expanding dogma as an ever increasing intrusion, and, over time...you are back to square one with written and inescapable religion.
