Y'all seem to be missin the point on a couple o issues. I've covered all ya need to know, on various posts, and is one of the reasons that I post so little, so that if need be, it ain't too much to go back and review.

Points to remember...

If you think you can... or can't... you're right!

Do not ask for something with a question, but a simple statement of fact. "Specifically!!!!!" (You will get "exactly" as you state, so be very, very, very, carefull of that which you do state.) Remember... you are shooting for Communion with Source, and a return of your power as Spirit. You are powerfull beyond imagination, and you will be tested and prepared to recieve it. It took more than a year, and many thousands of hours of "practice" for me to recieve it.

WHAT DOES "SPECIFIC"... mean? How many times have I said High Self/Source? I have never said Higher Self/Source. Why? I have said why. Did you listen? Really? Specifically? Did you really understand that which I wrote? Higher Self... may be just that! A higher version of yourself... but not HIGH SELF. High Self, means just that... the Highest.

Trust... Doubt... placing doubt, in your own mind????????

interesting to see if this happens happens??? does this sound like trust? or doubt? Plenty of time to work on those details??? What details? Just do the same thing that worked last night... "because"... you didn't tell HIGH SELF, what you would use for an OOB "Command".

Thinking on the fly, when you are out of body, is a tough one, ain't it?????? cccccc...

Precisely why I say to get your "Thinking" and "Intentions", in order, before going out of body. Precisely why I say turn off your computer, and listen to no-one but your own mind, when you are going for the gold... of Communion.

I GO NOW, TO MY HIGH SELF... "period"... this is a "specific" command. Trust it beyond all else... Know it implicitly!!!!!!! YOU ARE GOING TO YOUR HIGH SELF... YOUR SOURCE SELF.... You must believe it beyond all else. You MUST know where you are going... leave no room for doubt...

REMEMBER... the astral is "instantly thought responsive", and you will get that which you think about, precisely. So get your THINKING, in order beforehand.

NO, I do not explane things well, or completely. I only say what is neccessary to get your thinking headed in the right direction, and your HS will help with the rest, when you learn how to listen to it. Do you understand the volumes I have indicated between the lines? or even recognised that which I haven't said????

Also, I have been told to be carefull, for there are those that may just believe what I say... to which I say... Yep!!! ccc.

Why do I post the way I do? I didn't come here to tell you what I know... but to help you understand what YOU know... but do not remember... I am just here to help those of understanding... remember who... and what... they really are.

Seems obvious to me, that you need more, than this "forum" is providing. I say forum, because I see you asking the same questions, over and over, everywhere. ccc.

Here where I live, there are now 18 people doing what I do, that I told about those books, and without coming to me, to ask one single question, prior to achieving it. What did they do, that you are not? They listened only, to their own heart. Just as I did. period.

One single word, from another can determine your success, or not.

No offense brother, but this is NOT a one-size-fit-all undertaking. I promise you, no matter how clearly I demand 'clarity NOW!!' my astral vision does NOT improve. If I still myself, and focus intently,, my vision clears up. It has nothing to do with using words, it is the underlying motive/intent. It took me many years to realize why. I spoke with Buhlman about this very same thing. Listen, my definition of CLARITY, is different than yours, or maybe somebody elses. What do you do if you are flying and begin to 'sink', or maybe you can only fly at treetop level?? We can't just demand to 'be high'!! ccc

Different folks will have different mixed results when learning 'navigation' in the astral. Being without a body will take some getting used to. Even last night,, I was having trouble putting my hands through different 'solid' things, walls floors, etc... Sometimes, it would not work, and my hand will simply hit the wall. Ouch.. why is it 'solid' all of the sudden??? I certainly did not command that!!! (however through experimenting with the concept, I invited a different outcome, and it happened on another level.) There has been sooo much talk of HIGHER SELF in these discussions. Why am I demanding 'clarity now'?? Who am I talking to,,, I certainly am not talking to myself. I AM my Higher Self.... I have much better luck doing things on my own, and realizing things for myself than to go around in the astral and 'demand' things. Buhlman agreed. However, if it works,, then it works. Doesn't work for me... (not because I tell myself it doesn't,, I have wasted a lot of time demanding sight or clarity with no results..) No worries. Again, this is not a one size fits all experience. Communion with higher self is inevitable,, I do not waste too much time on it. I am not experiencing the most amazing experiences imaginable So that I can talk to myself. It is ALL being fed by an aspect of self. I AM MY HIGHER SELF!!!! I suspect that 'dreaming Jake' might think that 'waking Jake' is its higher self. I would advise dreaming Jake to live its life and quit worrying about it.

I appreciate you letting me rant a bit. Again, this is not a one-size-fits-all experience. We all come from different walks of life, with different aspirations and passions, with different disciplines and understandings. To suggest that someone is doing something wrong, is a bit off course. The higher self enigma will manifest no matter what we do. All of this talk about higher self may confuse folks to the point that they will not even try!!! And THAT is NOT what we are trying to do.

I apologize Sirdipswitch If my disagreeing with this one point seems obtuse. I do not mean to distract from your wisdom and strength. You have a tendency to describe things in powerful ways, and I admire your commitment to this topic. Please do not 'invite me to not post', just because my 'vision' of higher self is different, especially regarding navigation in the astral.

Hello sirdipswitch! Been a while since I've joined this thread. Looks like it's kinda raw right now, lol! Just a question for you. When we're talking about OBEs, aren't we talking strictly as high as the astral level? And if we're talking about the astral level, isn't that where we just start to make contact with high self? So if we're confined to the astral plane and can't get any higher, we are fooling ourselves to think we're contacting all our high self, aren't we? Of course, the astral body wraps around the causal body, so the causal body is ever closer to source and where we would have access to much more of high self. The reason I ask is because I went to a reputable psychic recently and she said those that have the ultimate goal of ascension and union with the divine are basically wasting time with OBE. Any comments?

Thanks Sirdip and Jake for your wonderful advice, I must point out I'm quite the naive newbie at this and only 4 months in with much to learn. I didn't realize just how specific one must be when requesting something and also I was quite backward in coming forward at the time..I always have a stock plan when I'm OOB which is to go to my HS, yes I had doubts and I don't deny it and I know this must be attended to. Jake I have the same problem with walls etc, I've been hopelessly trapped in my room which was frustrating although I've walked through the wall a few times with no trouble..Busting it down seems to work ok Like you I find nothing is written in stone when it comes to control, what worked once is never guaranteed to work next time..Well in my case anyway.Sirdip I know it must be frustrating for you to repeat over and over your sage advice to us beginners but please know that it's of great assistance to me and others on our early explorations.

I have had nothing but failure, no matter what religion or disipline I chose to explore, untill I returned to my true Spirit Self, less than two years ago. Yes but... it usually takes obe to explore the HS/Source level and convince ones self to believe that it and IT does exist in the mannor that it, and IT does. It took me over a year to figure out that I could step out in my True Spirit form, and leave my Astral and Pysical body at home. And now I have learned how to take my Whole Self... Spirit, Astral, Physical, to any place I wish, in an instant, no matter the distance, on this rock, or the entire Universe. cc. And I can jump with anything that ain't bolted down. ccc. But if I really wanted to put forth the effort, I could rip whatever from its' foundation, and take it anyway. ccc. WE... are unlimited in our Power. "MOST"... just don't believe it,,, yet.

When you first get goin with this thing called OBE, you will find, as some do mention, that sometimes you will see your "Silver Cord" attatched to your body, and sometimes you won't. Took me a year to figure that one out, and then George was laughin sayin how long it took. He don't tell me how to do nothin and then just confirms that which I do figure out.

Our Spirit, Astral, and Physical, are three seperate beings,,, as one. Oh ya and your Soul is in there too, but it don't seperate from your physical until you croak. cc. It hangs around to animate your physical body while yer astral and spirit are off somewhere.

Really had to think on that one... I went screamin straight to George. He started crackin up, and then disapeared, and wouldnt talk with me for more than a week, until after I found out what they were talkin about, and went to Him for verification.

Well, I must say that the response George gave you, Sirdipswitch, is a little disappointing. The reason for my disappointment is that whenever I can establish a two way conscious communication with HS, I want HS to be a source of trusted, freely given information that would give me answers helpful to navigating all the BS, lies and programming fed to us every day. As we all know it is a quagmire out here.

Looking back at my favorite and most effective teachers, I do not remember any of them rolling on the floor and laughing his/her off. Or ignoring me for a week.

I do expect that OBE is an efficient way to extablish that conscious connection that I want so much. Until then, the only navigation tools I have are my gut feelings, intuition, rational mind and maybe dream time.

Maybe my contact with HS will be different, more productive and more to my liking.
