Faith and trust, but only in the act of considering that the water of reality can hold your body afloat. To not panic, to not splash and flail about, thoughtlessly.

Then, take the time to learn to swim.

Then, to find a place to swim to.

Then, to question the whole process.

First... to have faith and trust in the concept of the protrusion of emergent awareness, in order to ...begin.

The original "WTF? I AM" moment. But nothing more.

The rest is up to you.

That is exactly how it works, and the only way it CAN work.
But most people are terrified of the emotionless state, so they seek experiences that will put them back on an emotional roller coaster. Then one day, they get to a point when they can see the uselessness of it.

Sorry, what I mean is, some emotions are useful, such as the love for higher realities,
which can keep us striving, like plants towards the sun light.
But the vast majority of emotions, such as fear, anger, hatred, self pity, despair....all totally useless.

It is very strange that I found this through marijuana.

A few people I've known talked about it putting holes in your aura.

For a while I was convinced that I didn't have a soul. Fortunately I was able to make it through and consider the possibly that I might just be trapped.
