Here and Now...What's Happening?

Wow! I'm alive to tell this true story. This just happened a few days ago (Thurs morning--flew back Friday morning). I still have the aches, bumps, scrapes, and bruises.

I'll catch up the rest of my life's changes later...I've been busy.

I WAS ABDUCTED!!! I was in a large city in Florida sleeping couch at my sister's house. At about 3:30 in the morning, my nephew, Q, came in the door with another guy. We had dropped him off at work at 10 p.m. at a restaurant where he worked for a work meeting. Q said he would get a ride home with someone from work. When he came in the house with that guy, I figured it was his friend from work. I had awakened about 10 minutes before they got there.

The two guys moved a TV and came in and got drinks from the frig. I got up and went and chatted with both of them. We went into the front yard, then we were both coaxed into his car. I'm still thinking they are friends/work buddies at this point. He asks my nephew to get out for a minute, and so he did. He took off with me in the car. I said I didn't want to go anywhere and he said he was just going to the store. I had asked him if he worked with Q. He said yes. I asked how long he worked there, and he told me about a year and a half. He kept going farther, too fast for me, and I asked him to take me home. He kept saying he would, but I realized, he had no intention of taking me home.

My heart began racing. I called on Archangel Michael and Jesus. My intuition said at one point: "The farther you go the farther you will walk back." When I fully realized I was in danger, my instincts kicked in. I looked to the right and saw a motel. I looked ahead and we had slowed down for a red light, but then he was starting to accelerate again, when I jumped out of the car. It was moving, but I hit the pavement and jumped up and ran. I hid in some plants near the back of the motel near the pool. All doors were locked. I stayed in the plants for a long time. I thought I heard a car come through the parking lot. Finally, when I heard quiet for a long time, I gingerly walked around to the front of the hotel.

No phone. No shoes. Mulch hanging off my butt.

Nobody was at the front desk, but I knocked on the door that was partly open near it and a guy came out. I was shaking SO bad. He said I could only call local and I tried to look up my sister's or niece's phone number, but I could only get their addresses online. Finally, the guy let me call my son -- I knew his number but it was in Oregon so he had to let me use his cell phone. I got his voicemail. He did call back and looked up the numbers for me, but he didn't have them. Finally, he called back with one number, but suggested I call a taxi.

The hotel guy called a taxi service for me and got the price, but at first I said "no!" I was still shaking and couldn't think of getting into a car with a stranger again in a strange town. I did settle down a few minutes later and called the taxi.

When I got back to my sister's house, I pounded on Q's door. He got up and I said, "Do you know what your friend just did to me?!?" He said, that's not my friend, I just met him tonight at a bar!! I knew then, that my life was more in danger than I had realized. From what that guy said, he had very bad intentions.

That's the short story. When my goose egg on my head hurts, or my elbow, or my back/butt, I just thank God that that's all that happened and that I AM ALIVE!!!

Thank you, Archangel Michael. Thank God. Thank God. Thank God.

(I had been thinking about checking in, and when I got to my email, there was a message to change my password for this forum, so....PERFECT TIMING.)

I posted it into the Theories of the Deeper Understanding of Things, in case it is found to be too much for the Village....

Christian has been setting the tone on his TOTDUOT thread, so it would have fit perfectly there.
Meanwhile I wade through this stuff on Imgur all the time,
but since I find sexual humor rarely funny any more I leave it behind without a second glance.
But in this Village each and all can find their sal(i)vation in their own manner,
so I'm not too bothered unless it's downright vulgar or sexist and derogatory.

Yup, that's me alright - to a tee. Pretty much sums up my idea of a good life. And that is how I swim, too. My own method, devised and patented by me. When others were doing their backstroke I was perfecting my otter imitation. Just at dinner we were watching that lady who swam from Cuba to Key West, Florida and I said how I could float for a week on my back but would probably drown in an hour if I tried to swim.

I noticed that since my experience last Thursday, I've eaten virtually no grains, dairy, or processed sugars. Interesting. I usually love my carbs.

As I was driving this afternoon, I got this overwhelming feeling, the kind that brings tears to your eyes, and a flooding of gratefulness. I got a glimpse of what it feels like to be alive. It's been happening quite often lately. There wasn't anything in particular that triggered it. Just zoning out while driving. But it was a welcome break from the angry energy I have been flooded with the past two weeks.

It's funny how I get most of my a-ha moments while driving..in LA traffic.

My veterinarian Friend had that happen to Her in South America...and was able to "react quickly" as You did!

You know, I've been thinking about this too. Gripreaper means, for me, to "get a grip" on the truth for I reap what I sow, and the avatar picture is supposed to be a dragon, significant to my birth date and sun sign, but it looks more like a sea horse...

Just don't know, and have not been inspired as to what to change it to.

Any suggestions?
