Stories like that, send my heartbeat out of control. Not from fear, or anger, or to ease the soul that is dying, to help it leave. There is other work, one might say, but, well...not my job. But still. What ease, to bring to the wicked? To approach the dead, to find them. A form, at times, of the Grim Reaper, one might say.

As.... I found out recently that both my matriarchal and patriarchal names mean virtually the same. Not just the sheltering of the door and that which removes the smoke to expose the light of the forge, to aid in it's energies, but.... the doorway though which the dead must pass to reach the godhead (also related to the boatman, one might say). Most judge themselves. Who decides? Not I.
