after seeing this image... I went outside last night to look at the stars...when I came back.... I watched a video on ISON and low and behold this mouse brain neuron network with its universal partner image was in the video...

i find that image fascinating...

And it prompted me to search for a long lost favorite picture of mine....
Found it. It scientific proof that we are all nothing more than a neuron inside a mouse's brain.

And to me the synchronicity with the video is even more fascinating than the picture...because of what it tells about you, being in the middle of a light storm, here and now.

It will remind you that you ARE the universe, not a mouse.

Ha! I know it's crazy here! To go further on strange weather, the indigenous groups here where I live are very aware of the changes in our weather. They said the weather started getting really strange here as of 3 years ago. Rainy seasons start earlier, last longer, are colder and wetter.

I saw this, and yes as a new yorker, never ever evvverrrr talk to the police.

Welcome ruthy, to the perfect escape from expat land. We will warm you up here in no time.
Costa Rica is cold now as well, but my husband keeps telling me this is nothing compared to Mexico where he froze his butt off while studying.

It's pretty quiet here, except for the heater humming, my dog snoring, still. My leg is stinging from my kitten that slipped from my lap and used her claws to maintain her grip on my calf. Morning birds chattering in the distance, they sound like weeble wobbles, distant diesel engines tugging up the hill where I live in the mountain side. New constructions happening further up from us. Leaky faucet leaking into the dirty dishes stacked precariously in the sink. Each drip is a constant reminder that I haven't done them yet, nor do I plan to until the hour of double digits has arrived! Fiance is still in bed, I can never sleep in like he does, I'm up with the sun, or when the dogs whine to go outside. As soon as my feet hit the cold adobe brick floors..I'm up!!
My tea, which is my life force, next to me getting cold. Considering putting it in front of the space heater right behind me as a quick warm up because I don't want to move to the kitchen.

Woke up to over an 1" of rain that fell last night. News said over 5000 lighting strikes. I was oblivious to it all as I slept. Not to say I did not wake up a few times in the middle of the night. For some reason I can't post a photo of my pond? I keep getting a air message to enter a web address, well it is on my desktop. Go figure! It took me four weeks to dig the pond by hand. Pick ax, mattocks, shovel. Was a great work out routine. I had a lot of water in it this morning

This is what you can do.
Instead of the normal "quick reply" click on the "Go Advanced" button. This will open an edit page where there is an icon (amongst the normal edit icons) that looks like a paperclip. When clicking on this icon you will open a small window called "Uploader" (part of Avalon's niftiness )

This allows you to upload a picture from your computer. Just follow the dialogue boxes.
The other thing you could do is have a web photo album, from where you can upload more easily, as it provides you with an URL for each picture.

Hit go advanced, and click on the icon that looks like a paper clip, it will launch the uploader so you can post something on your computer. The little picture frame only is good for posting pics linked to on the net.
