Goodnight, Villagers. Last one in, leave a light on, will ya? Oh, and the couple of you that are awake while I'm sawing logs, help yourself to s'mores, I left the makings beside the fire. (All natural of course, and no calories...I can do that, ya know.)

    Much Love,

Here and Now, the men who are so called leaders in the United States don't look any different than bullies on the playground! WHo ever heard of" you killed your own people with poisonous gas so now we will kill more with air strikes to punish you before you have a chance to kill more yourself". I am so weary of our war warped society. None of this makes sense in my world. It does not compute! All it tells me is that crazy psychopaths are in charge and I am in better company with the snake that left his skin under my bed. I sometimes wonder if we will ever be civilized. Until then I will store food, count blessings and wish that mothers (women) were given a chance to rule the world. What mother could send another's child off to fight to his or her death knowing the pain it will inflict and that is for a bankers lie! For a civilization we are truly not even close to civilized and my heart bleeds for us! I am sorry. I am feisty and prickly with reality in the states here and now

Edit to add: this is in response to a long weekend and so call family "intervention" that proclaimed that by me storing food and freaking out I must be losing it.

The me that is losing it simply replied to those concerned, if you would take me seriously instead of feeling sorry for me for being so called crazy, and take responsibility to plan ahead and store a little food for yourself and your own families, I would not appear so crazy and an intervention would not even be needed. I am hoping to save you as we as me and mine and the fact that you refuse to even see that there may be a need to be self reliant only makes me feel the need to work harder to prepare and thus makes me look crazier in your eyes.

AS I said, it has been a long weekend!

No offence yukondiva, it's usually my fault here when things go wrong so I need to show I'm not completely hopeless. The other day I was intending to rely on the satnav and clean forgot that the cigarette lighter was not working properly. It's always something

Here and now... getting a bunch of my stuff packed up to move to an apartment. I won't start living there right away (some things to get fixed and rearranged), but it's the first step. Excited and nervous. I'm called to making it into a healing and study space for myself... it'll be the first apartment I've had without a roommate, so that'll be interesting. The building was just renovated into apartments and I don't think anyone else has moved in yet to my part of the building. Will have to find ways to block out the noise from the street. Stairs will be a challenge as well.

Feels like I'm jumping from lilypad to lilypad at this time... like working my way through a series of symbolic encounters. Who knows how long I'll even be at this place.

Gonna have to catch up reading all y'all's posts

    Have a great day!

Love the image of lilypad ....the fact that you used it tells me that you will be fine.
Living alone means starting a relationship with the person that is you. Verrrry important moment in your life.
Take good care of yourself, while breaking the habit of having others close by.
Of course we all will still be close by, just not in the physical sense.

Sync, lily pads. What a wonderful visual. On the drive to Dallas, I cross three lakes, four bridges. One lake I call "Lily Pad Lake" because on one side of the bridge the water is covered with beautiful green somewhat circular plants. I have no idea if they are really lily pads, as I've never seen a flower. But it's pretty cool.

Pulling the trigger this morning on having Em evaluated for Asperger's. Called the best place for this type of thing, they are now booking interviews for November and the actual evaluation for January. Called the school, they are checking to see if they are able to provide an evaluation any sooner.

Mixed emotions. When connecting the dots, it is obviously so. I never connected the dots before. It changes absolutely nothing, as far as what a wonderful and special person she is. What it does for her is two things. One, it explains a lot for her. Two, it gives me the documentation to make my job a whole lot easier.

When I taught, each student got what they needed. That's the way it should be. None of this everyone gets taught to think one way, everyone gets measured by the same yard stick, everyone's expectations are the same, yadda yadda. That's such crap. And there are lots of teachers like me. Then...there are the others. Haha.

I really would like the days of school battles to be behind me. Behind me are the days of making principals cry, and pulling in the state agency for education to forcefully make the schools provide the education that they, by law, had to provide. And behind me are the days of needing the strength to pull the dead weight of eight school staff members until they "saw the light." Oh, sure, I can do it. But a lifetime of that has left me weary.

I would much rather have a cooperative team, all with the focus on how to help Em, and each member being a loving and kind person. I worked with this high school with M, and have found them to be outstanding, except for the few.

Here and Now, bringing the world around to meet Em. Having faith that her Highest will materialize. No worries.

    Much Love,
The best thing you can do for Em is to encourage her to study astrology. It will give her such fantastic explanations that her mind can be at peace. Everything seemed so absurd to me before, but once I understood the twelve signs, their division into the four elements, of fire, earth, air and water, and the three types ...fixed, mutable and cardinal, and then the interaction of these elements...so much became clear. It is the most awesome of all sciences.

I respect you immensely, and love you to pieces too. Upon your suggestion, I would be glad to do just this. There's this little problem, though. Not really a problem, but the fact that I really don't get astrology. I understand basics, and know enough to see it's value. I haven't taken the time to go exploring in this area because my "soul development" (for lack of a better description) and the things I have had to address in my life in the last year have taken me in different directions.

You know Em pretty well, haha, from following the day-in-the-life journey. Where would you suggest I start with her? Give me something basic, a book to start her with, that would interest a young teen...and I will have it here by the end of the week

Always, Much Love and Gratitude my friend

oops, edit to add...many of you have expertise in this area, please feel invited to share...not just Ulli...and Much Love to you all,

Well, the books which came my way when I started could be a bit out of date now.

Maybe some of the younger crowd here could help with a suggestion. But that may not even be necessary.
All you would have to do is say that a friend says that astrology helped her with her Aspberger issues, and then leave the rest up to Em.
Once you taught her how to ask herself a question, then her spirit will guide her, and the Internet will provide the right answer. There is no better library.
Just start out by studying the twelve types, and compare what she ads with the people she knows.
Astrology is not for everyone, but it can help Aspberger spectrum types.

Got up today thinking of how I've never met a single adult being in my life, including myself. Or, what I think of being a 'mature' example of what a human body can contain.

We bounce around in the way that we do, but the difference between myself, a young child, and anyone else, is a matter of degrees. This does not depress me, as that would be a childish interpretation. It's just an unloaded observation.

The most mature that I understand and recall, is when outside of this human body, when not anchored to the world and time-flow life living of the human body and it's attentional and orientation demands. The more I approach that mindset of 'other', the more I can connect to it, and bring it here.

We run out of time to reach any form of maturity, in my estimation.

Which does turn toward the idea that our lives here, physically, are somehow .....artificially shortened, or designed to contain no space for maturity.

Since maturity could logically allow for a high survival level/rate in the given beings (over time) - at least this is suspected- ...then..

The automatic conclusion is - artificial shortening, but that is speculation. Weighing in on it with emotion, as a final destination of complex consideration.. that would be childish.

If indeed humanity is a giant box of puppies (or kittehs), then who is holding the box?

I dunno dude, I think of maturity as soverignty of self (which is required for emotional maturity) and ability to take responsibility (practical maturity, the manifestion of emotional maturity in our shared reality)

I do believe this artificially taken from us. If taught at young age, like when we develop language and communication skills, we'd have plenty of time (which I agree is also artificially shortened)

The Sumerians had an answer for this - we were kept from the waters of life that would have extended our lives.

It is sad or funny or strange or tragic that just as we mature enough to really get some work done we get old and soon after die. Youth is wasted on the youth (or however that saying goes).

    Quote Posted by Carmody (here)
Got up today thinking of how I've never met a single adult being in my life, including myself.

There was a time when I was mature, but I was a lot younger then.
Then I permitted myself some slack and as a result I got stuck in immature behavior patterns.

My husband is nine years younger than I and more mature, by far.
Probably had a lot more past lives, and took a deep plunge into 3D, serving the poor people of this area.
Smelly people, with anal abscesses, or ninety-year-olds with ingrown toe nails,
or blocked ears, who after having had him administer an ear wash call out "Doctor!!!! I can hear!!!"
And then he gets an arthritic bear hug from them. That's what I call maturity. He comes home daily with homemade food which they give him out of gratitude. Or if they can't afford to pay cash.
Unlike me he doesn't question the fact why planet earth is still so backwards.
I'm just a spoilt brat who figured out how to manifest all of her desires and is wallowing in earthly delights.

How old would you be if you didnt know how old you are?

well I just want to mature to a star child. I don't want to go beyond that. Just a happy playful star child running around playing with universes like they are toys. Yes that would be fun.

Haha, that's a loaded question. Thirty with no wrinkles, in my case. But it is deeper than that. When connected to the awareness, there is no age present. It also depends on what type of maturity is being contemplated here. imo... At 30, in all 3d meanings, younger=less mature. But...spiritually? That's tricky.

Eegads, you are talking about about a whole lot of responsibility.

Life is a road we don't travel alone. But everyone's on their own journey home.

    Remember this?
    I always loved these lyrics

Quote WRITTEN BY BOB DYLAN- WENT TO # 30 IN 1967.
LYRICS: Crimson flames tied through my ears
    Throwin' high and mighty traps
    Countless fire and flaming road
    Using ideas as my maps
"We'll meet on edges, soon," said I
    Proud 'neath heated brow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
    I'm younger than that now.

    Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth
"Rip down all hate," I screamed
Lies that life is black and white
Spoke from my skull, I dreamed
    Romantic flanks of musketeers
    Foundation deep, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
    I'm younger than that now.

In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand
At the mongrel dogs who teach
Fearing not I'd become my enemy
In the instant that I preach
My pathway led by confusion boats
    Mutiny from stern to bow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
    I'm younger than that now.

    (guitar solo)

Ah, but I was so much older then,
    I'm younger than that now

My guard stood hard when abstract threats
    Too noble to neglect
    Deceived me into thinking
    I had something to protect
Good and bad, I define these terms
    Quite clear, no doubt, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
    I'm younger than that now.
    Each breath a gift...
