Which does turn toward the idea that our lives here, physically, are somehow .....artificially shortened, or designed to contain no space for maturity.

Since maturity could logically allow for a high survival level/rate in the given beings (over time) - at least this is suspected- ...then..

The automatic conclusion is - artificial shortening, but that is speculation. Weighing in on it with emotion, as a final destination of complex consideration.. that would be childish.

If indeed humanity is a giant box of puppies (or kittehs), then who is holding the box?

Hmmm, ulli. Only one word for sensitivity. Sensitive to one's own needs and sensitive to others? Is that what you mean? Of course, then there is sensitive to energies...which should be a third word. I smell a rat, too. Methinks the language(s) used by the ancients was much more succinct and exact and precise.

The person who is sensitive to energies is often also pretty vulnerable emotionally, and has self-protective habits.
So I don't mind if they fall under the same category.
I'm beginning to see the merit of Jim's tone scale more and more here.

I don't know. I also do long screeds, and people go Hum (at least I guess they do). So it is a kind of change of rhythm.
