I was actually browsing to find material about the Indonesian tribe that had made replica refridgerators and small airplanes out of sticks of wood and bamboo, as they are worshipping American soldiers as gods. I will post about that when I find it. Someone started a thread about it...very interesting about how some religions started. (Not all, of course)

Thanks for the info on John Frum. Cargo cult...that's what this is called- I remember now.
A couple of thoughts entered when I saw the name of the place is Vanautu. That's where we see the strongest earthquake activity of the Ring Of Fire. Could that be the reason for their desperate need for religion? Or are they causing it? Or is John Frum doing it from beyond his grave? All sorts of questions...maybe not worth persuing though.

So I don't know how this happened, but I came across some more ridiculous questioning here (yahoo answers)
And I must say, I got an amusing read from not only the question asked, but also the answers provided.

Nice floor, but does it squeak ?

There is an American art collector who built his mansion as a replica of a Paris town house and imported 18th century parquet flooring salvaged from a château. He insisted that it had to squeak.

I bet eaglespirit's floor squeaks with a vengeance.

Eaglespirits who live in a jungle are accustomed to all sorts of jungle noises, squeaks being the least of them.

And about the other flooring...
Of course it squeaks. It is in the South of France. Are there ANY houses in France where the floors don't squeak?
For those who want to relocate because they can't stand it...
In Costa Rica all floors are tiled, or hardened mud, or cement. Squeaking is no issue here.
There are other issues instead...like ants and spiders and even snakes.

I really detest squeaky floors. Drive me batty, they do.

OTOH, this is what helped my brother and I to develop our silent walk, as every step we took, in our youth, was contested by the very floor we walked on. We are known to be fairly undetectable, in our usual unconscious 'normal' walking pattern.

Must be the French blood. Got away from France in the 1700's... but the floor followed us.

Most French homes are tiled floors, at least on the ground floor. I can only make ours squeak when I have to put the brakes on hard.

Growing up, we didn't have squeaky floors, but what's sticks in my memory are my father's knees. You could always hear him coming because his knees would pop wherever he walked. If you heard the knees popping that meant, shut up, be quiet, and play like you were asleep or you'd get the switch. It was a great early detection warning system that worked against him.

I was going to ask you all to pass some energy Tesla's way...
but then someone mentioned the rule about asking people's permission first.
Was it Astrid, or Anchor, who said there is such a rule.
Anyway, I want to know where it comes from. When I see someone in desperate need I send a wave of helpful energy instantly.
Because to me it is obvious that Tesla wants help, or she wouldn't have shared her story online.

This is were I was yesterday. It was soooo funny. They are contemplative nuns, meaning they pray all the time and keep silent. They never speak. But they do sing to God for example.

Well, 2 are supposed to speak when there is people from the outside world like me. So one nun got me around, explained to me how things work, etc.

But, when I arrived, another nun had seen me and was waiting for me in the parlor and spoke to me telling me she had seen me and that she will call Mère supérieure, then mère supérieure came and explained the routine (my stairs, separated from the nuns, my place to eat, the hours, etc). Then, as I was eating, another nun came to offer me peaches and profited of the occasion to speak. I went to the chaptel to meditate, it was very quiet. Then the nun came and sang beautifully. When the prayers were finished, I took the elevator up and a nun quickly slid in and when the door were closed, talked to me about the place, the weather, etc. This morning, an old nun talked to me telling me you are the guest aren't you, while nobody else was around.

Hi hi hi, they were on average all excited to talk. I feel like I have delighfully corrupted them.

They were very nice altogether, and the place so quiet and re-energizing! I susbcribed there for Monday nights sleeping if I can find someone to stay with Mini Flash at home, so that I would avoid driving.

I received my new laptop today, I had been without for a while, so I am presently dowloading all the software I usually use.
