Federal government routinely hires internet trolls, shills to monitor chat rooms, disrupt article comment sections

More confirmation of big brother, the government says it is "correcting information" then why not declare who they really are? Why hide their identity?

(NaturalNews) You've probably run into them before -- those seemingly random antagonizers who always end up diverting the conversation in an online chat room or article comment section away from the issue at hand, and towards a much different agenda. Hot-button issues like illegal immigration, the two-party political system, the "war on terror" and even alternative medicine are among the most common targets of such attackers, known as internet "trolls" or "shills," who in many cases are nothing more than paid lackeys hired by the federal government and other international organizations to sway and ultimately control public opinion.

    More here, also:

The program started on 23 January (this year).

Extract from the article -- which everyone should read:

RB (Doug Hagmann's insider source): First of all, two days after the inauguration, at exactly 7:00 a.m. on January 23, something called “the Cyber-Warriors for Obama Project” was activated. I heard about this the week after the election, but only saw a hardcopy draft in late December. From what I was told, I believe this is a project that is being paid for through funds from Obama’s political corporation, the 501(c)4 Organizing for Obama, I believe it’s called. I can’t be sure, but that’s what I was told.

At that time, I was shown a white, three-ring binder with Obama’s circular campaign logo imprinted on the outside of the binder with the name “Cyber-Warriors for Obama” printed in blue across the top. Inside were the names and e-mail addresses of 3,575 “cyber assets,” or “warriors,” listed in alphabetical order under about a dozen or so “team leaders.” From a separate sheet I was shown, most of these “assets” are being paid just over minimum wage, but as I understand it, they work from home and have no overhead. I believe there are about two dozen supervisors who make substantially more.

Now I only had the binder for a minute, and could not take it from the room I was in, so this is strictly from memory.

It was tabbed, and one section with the word “targets” had a list of religious web sites, web sites I recognized as Christian. Another section was a listing of conservative Internet sites. There was another tab with the label “problem sites” that seemed quite extensive. I looked at that section, and it was broken down further into “birther” sites, “pro-gun” sites, “anti-abortion” sites, just to name a few.

Thanks Sigma ,we may have had one yesterday on the David Icke thread.
I have had one or two others on my threads. Best Lion comes to mind.
I always try to be polite and see how they go. Because its hard to know
if they are trolls or just argumentative, on a different frequency or just
    interprets things differently.

So I would not call anyone out, but just probe and see what happens.
Several threads like the holocaust or channeling , I have noticed have
    caused some emotional responses .

Disqus isn't loading normally when I try to access CNN.
I agree that the whole situation is out of whack,
why on earth would a company like a news outlet let a 3rd party agency moderate their readers' comments?

also a while back someone disabled the account i was using to comment on infowars articles.

most official sites with comments on news, media or newspapers got a software-filter running in the background, every posting gets analysed and scored - after beeing classified and scored the posted comment either moves directly to the trashcan or needs to be aproved by a moderator.

thats how news sites work these days, freedom of speech ...

but i also think that there are accounts that never get filtered or scored because the poster is hired, its all part of the propagandamachinery.

I leave comments on Huffington Post as part of my "service to humanity". Even though I work full time and I am busy with family responsibilities, I make time to upload comments that support free thinking, openness, alternative, and spiritual issues. The comment sections of major newspapers are really important because people read those comments! I have been on Huffpost for years and sometimes people "like" a comment I made months ago, so I know people are reading the comment sections online (and forums too, of course!)

I do this because I feel that if a comment I write influences just one person to open their heart, or to respect life, or to question major media, or to connect to their spiritual source, then this is part of my service to humanity.

Here's an interesting discussion (edited: 2 mins 40 seconds) between Mike Adams from Natural News and Alex Jones, about 'robot trolls' -- internet forum disruptors who are just algorithms, not real people.

Note that this could NOT happen on Avalon because of the membership application process.

It could not happen directly ... but it probably happens indirectly, by Avalon members reading something elsewhere and bringing it here.

We are likely pretty safe. Nobody is fomenting, encouraging violent revolution. If they do, the mods should be alert to it, for the safety of the forum and the poster. It is one thing to feel that there could be a revolution or civil war and quite another to endorse or encourage any kind of violent action. I can see why the pro-gun sites would be monitored as that could prove difficult for the controllers if martial law is imposed.

I think Avalon may be perceived as far more “dangerous” than some other groups precisely because we are not violent. And yet we are succeeding, and our numbers and readers are growing.

    Egad:

    • We have widely diverse backgrounds, education and experience. Some of us are ex-military, or insiders, or work in high places, some of us are very bright scholars, or farmers or healers, some of us are loosely tethered but still here,

    • Our members are all ages from 15 to infinity, all shapes and sizes,

    • We transcend national borders, political parties, beliefs, ethnicities and even languages,

    • We treat each other with respect, compassion and civility,

    • We are thoughtful and fairly spiritually aware,

    • We are highly intelligent, as well as sympathetic and empathetic.

And this must surely scare the bejeesus out of the PTB. I think they’d love to see us fail. Something as “normal and healthy” as Avalon that opposes their agenda must.be.stopped. LOL

Hiya, trolls. We know who you are.

    Cheers,

    Selene

You know it's kind of ironic that these governments are caught red-handed because our own Minister of Home Affairs (Belgium) just announced in a press-conference that she was hiring these trolls to battle terrorism and extremism on the net; I posted a topic about it too.
