Default DugWay - a totally "normal" smoke bomb testing range..

DugWay, some folks say the new Area-51.

I decided to take a look, and saved some satellite images, that one may enjoy looking at.

But before we do that, let me quote Popular Science as they explain how mundane this place is with absolutely NOTHING, nothing at all is going on there..

    "Dugway Proving Ground
    Great Salt Lake Desert, Utah:

"Background: Within two months of the attack on Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt set aside the first 127,000 acres of Dugway Proving Ground in Utah's Great Salt Lake Desert. Over the past 60 years, the site has expanded to nearly 800,000 acres, roughly the size of Rhode Island.

"How It's Unique: Dugway's massiveness allows it to be the premiere site for testing defense systems against chemical and biological weapons, as well as military-grade smoke bombs. During World War II, the facility played a vital role in the development of incendiary bombs. In order to test the fire-causing weapons, crews at Dugway built replicas of German and Japanese villages, even going so far as to fill the model buildings with furniture that would be similar to that found in the respective country. Today, the remains of the German village are eligible to be included on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places."

I am leaving the satellite pictures full sized - you can adjust the image size in your browser by adjusting the ZOOM setting. Just a normal place testing smoke bombs..

Above is the overall general layout - note the various geometries. There is a google coordinate for google earth bottom right in each picture so you can wander around there yourself from a nice safe position high in the sky. Please pay attention to the SCALE size on the bottom left - it gives you an idea of how large (or small) various features are.

Here we move to the top of the first picture and zoom in. Note the interesting rectangular grid and the two rather large circular areas. The coloration you see is what is seen.

Here we have zoomed in on the top right circular area (upper right of the first picture).

Zooming out just a little bit so one can see the coloration and geometry, same circle as above.

The above is the lower circle.. Look what is inside that circle !

Zooming into that circle center area a bit. Notice the height of the circular array, the geometry in the array, and the central object (antenna?) in the middle of the circular array. There is a very large type of structure apparently "driving" the outer circular array sitting on the pad to the bottom left.

Please note where I have pointed the two blue arrows. Of course we all know that Semi-Tractor trailer trucks when they arrive to deliver parts for something to build something that they must be circular about 30 feet in diameter with two rings below them for support. Of course the wheels probably fell off when they got there, or something, because we all know that simple semi-tractor trailers look that way, right?

    Smoking gun here?

I think I see a larger circular larger track in the soil (note the slight circular depression). This isn't artifact. I tried the satellite image from numerous angles. Something rather uniquely round had made a depression there in a couple places. The weaker image (and larger outline) I would think was an earlier made depression as it looks weathered, and hardly there. But the smaller 30 foot image is pretty obvious.

Enjoy - safest way to visit DugWay.

    Hey Bobd!

Sorry to intrude, but gosh that is cool/strange.
You know what it reminded me of, those pictures?

    Wewelsburg!

SS blueprint for plans of the outlying area around castle Wewelsburg.

    ...

Himmler's plans included making it the "center of the new world" ("Zentrum der neuen Welt") following the "final victory".[39] The monumental estate was never realized; only detailed plans and models exist. The installation of a 15 to 18-meter-high wall in the shape of a three-quarter circle[7] with 18 towers including the actual castle area centred on the North Tower of the castle, 860 m in diameter, was planned. The real purpose of the project was never clearly defined.[40] Inside of this castle area buildings were planned for the exclusive purposes of the Reichsführung-SS (Reich leadership SS).

    Quote Supposed whereabouts[edit]

Witkowski's statements along with Cook's views prompted further conjecture about the device from various American authors, including Joseph P. Farrell, Jim Marrs, and Henry Stevens. Farrell says that the device was considered so important to the Nazis that they killed 60 scientists that worked on the project and buried them in a mass grave.[9] In his book, Hitler's Suppressed and Still-Secret Weapons, Science and Technology (2007), Stevens states that Die Glocke contained red mercury[10] and describes stories alleging that a concave mirror on top of the device provided the ability to see "images from the past" during its operation.[11] Witkowski stated that Die Glocke ended up in a "Nazi-friendly South American country". Cook, on the other hand, states that it was moved to the United States as part of a deal made with SS General Hans Kammler. Farrell stated that it was recovered as part of the Kecksburg UFO incident.[12] This last theory was dramatized in 2009 by The Discovery Channel and again in 2011 by The History Channel's Ancient Aliens series.

Dugway's mission is to test, implement US and Allied biological and chemical weapon defense systems in a secure and isolated environment. DPG also serves as a facility for US Army Reserve and US National Guard maneuver training, and US Air Force flight tests–mostly from nearby Hill Air Force Base in Ogden. DPG is controlled by the United States Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC). The area has also been used by Army special forces for training in preparation for deployments to the War in Afghanistan and alien environments, including Colombia and Mars.[5]

Alien speculation and experimental aircraft testing[edit]

Following the public attention drawn to Area 51 in the early 1990s, UFOlogists and concerned citizens have suggested that whatever covert operations, if any, may have been underway at that location were subsequently transferred to DPG.[14][15][16][17][18]

The Deseret News reported that Dave Rosenfeld, president of Utah UFO Hunters, stated:

“ "Numerous UFOs have been stored and reported in the area in and around Dugway...[military aircraft can't account for] all the unknowns seen in the area. It might be that our star visitors are keeping an eye on Dugway too...[Dugway is] the new area 51. And probably the new military spaceport.[14]

Please do share - there is unusual stuff there that can be seen from the air.

The last two picture above in my post resemble the PRIMARY of a 100 foot TESLA coil. The object in the center could very well be the secondary.

Last time I saw one this large (if it IS that), was at Wendover Utah, at Bob Golka's place. (and his was only 1/2 that size and it was huge !)

I can only imagine what they were trying to evoke with that much energy (or contact?)..

    That is really scary, actually.

I don't understand this very well, but are they playing with Proton Beams?

My salary at the time was probably around three thousand, thirty-two hundred. So one hundred fifty-five thousand was really quite a large sum in terms of man hours or man years. This Tesla, this damn Tesla coil! It was nothing but an irritation all the time. But it did enable us to do what we did. We managed to get gamma and beta rays — even proton tracks — all of them above a million volts. We had tubes that worked perfectly well the minute we stuck them on a Van de Graaff machine. So we got some things done with it. But the idea of being stuck with it all those years is really pretty punk. I was very blind.
    Quote WIKIPEDIA

Proton beams, a type of ion beams, are the result of proton particle acceleration by means of a cyclotron or a synchrotron and can be used e.g. in Proton Beam Therapy for cancer treatment or for proton beam writing in lithography.

Wireless energy transfer (WET), a.k.a. wireless energy transmission, is the transference of electromagnetic energy transmitted from a central power source without the use of connecting wires.

Tesla’s coil experiments, proving the feasibility of WET, during his experiments in Colorado in the early 1900s were the pre-cursor to the “inventions” in this field today.

After Tesla died, the US government confiscated all documents pertaining to his experiments and classified them. Since the 1950s the US government has held this technology in secret.

In the UK, the induction power transfer (IPT) is the first commercially available wireless electric car charger. HaloIPT, a start-up corporation, has released this technology in certain areas of England’s motorways or car parks. Electric cars will be charged automatically when the integrated receiver pad is enabled.

General Motors (GM) has invested $5 million into a wireless charging device called PowerMat that uses inductive charging, which transmits electricity via magnets without any actual, physical connection. Since GM is owned by the US government, their new device may have more to do with the release of certain Tesla technology covertly.

Marin Soljačić, assistant professor at MIT, searching for ways to transmit power wirelessly, focused on mid-range power that could charge portable devices, such as cell phones, PDAs and laptops. Using the phenomenon of resonant coupling, Soljačić was able to tune two objects to the same frequency to exchange energy.
    Quote http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Particle-beam_weapon

A particle-beam weapon uses a high-energy beam of atomic or subatomic particles to damage the target by disrupting its atomic and/or molecular structure. A particle-beam weapon is a type of directed-energy weapon, which directs energy in a particular and focussed direction using particles with negligible mass. Some particle-beam weapons are real and have potential practical applications for example as an anti-ballistic missile defense system for the United States and their Strategic Defense Initiative. The vast majority however, are science fiction and are among the most prolific weapons seen there. They have been known by a plethora of fantastic-sounding names: phasers, particle accelerator guns, ion cannons, proton beams, lightning rays, ray guns etc.

The concept of particle-beam weapons comes from sound scientific principles and experiments currently underway around the world. One process to damage the target is to simply overheat the target until it is no longer operational.

Particle accelerators are a well-developed technology used in scientific research for decades. They use electric and magnetic fields to accelerate and direct charged particles along a predetermined path, and electrostatic “lenses” to focus these streams for collisions. The Cathode Ray Tube in many televisions and computer monitors are also very simple types of particle accelerator. More powerful versions include tokamaks and cyclotrons used in nuclear research. A particle-beam weapon is a weaponized version of this technology. It accelerates charged particles (in most cases electrons, positrons, protons, or ionized atoms, but very advanced versions can use more exotic particles) to near-light speed and then shoots them at a distant target. The particles have tremendous kinetic energy which they impart to particles in the target’s surface, inducing near-instantaneous and catastrophic superheating.

The physics impact of proton track identification in future megaton-scale water Cherenkov detectors

    M. Fechner, C.W. Walter
    (Submitted on 14 Jan 2009 (v1), last revised 12 Nov 2009 (this version, v3))
In this paper, we investigate the impact in future megaton-scale water Cherenkov detectors of identifying proton Cherenkov rings. We estimate the expected event rates for detected neutral current and charged current quasi-elastic neutrino interactions from atmospheric neutrinos in a megaton-scale Super-Kamiokande-like detector with both 40% and 20% photo-cathode coverage. With this sample we examine the prospects for measuring the neutrino oscillation pattern, and searching for sterile neutrinos. We also determine the size of selected charged current quasi-elastic samples in a 300-kton fiducial volume Super-Kamiokande-like detector from examples of both conventional super-beams and beta-beams proposed in the literature. With these samples, it is shown that full kinematic neutrino reconstruction using the outgoing proton can improve the reconstructed energy resolution, and give good neutrino versus anti-neutrino tagging capabilities, adding important capabilities to water Cherenkov detectors in future projects. We determine the beam parameters necessary to make use of this technique and present distributions of neutrino and anti-neutrino selection efficiencies.

VUV-FEL (Vacuum-Ultra-Violet Free-Electron-Laser) is a superconducting linear accelerator with a free electron laser for radiation in the vacuum-ultraviolet and soft X-ray range of the spectrum. VUV-FEL is based on the TTF (TESLA Test Facility), which was built in 1997 to test the technology that was to be used in the planned linear collider TESLA, a project which was replaced by the ILC (International Linear Collider). For this purpose the TTF was enlarged from 100 m to 260 m.

And all we see is the surface.

Wonder if we can find high resolution, couple foot resolution infra-red satellite for this area?
