Sitting on my front porch enjoying the bright beautiful and cool Autumn morning. Listening to the tiny birds sing their songs through windswept trees. Reflecting a little bit about the last month and the events of last weekend. After a three month vacation I started taking ORMES again and about three weeks into it, I got invited to go to a traditional Bear sweatlodge and Bear Dance -a very healing ceremony (lots of bear hugs lol) . Just clearly feel loved and supported and want to let you guys know too that I'm doing well.



Every year now for seventeen years the Native peoples of Southern and Northern California have an annual ancestor walk to commemorate the sacred sites of their people, which is followed by a Bear Dance.

lived in the city for a while, I adjusted, but didn't work for me....

It's Nature that gives so much to me.... just sharing something that i have only just begun to connect with and understand. Humbling and timeless like the movements of the ocean expansive as the skies.

you always seem to bring back some of the nostalgia of my youth & new stuff too. I remember sitting outside of a state fair listening to a Moody Blues concert too many year ago. I didn't have enough money to get in, but stood outside of the gates with a cold one and a dubie.

Hello Villagers. Stopping in to peep my head in for a flash. Hope all are doing well. Missing all of you. I have been away from Avalon and this thread for some time. I have been doing alot of reading, flute playing and relaxing in my lil vortex. I just since took up pipe smoking since i quit cigarettes 2 months ago. Here and now. Looking at the trees who are bare after we had fifty mile per hour winds. But it's actually good because then I see the mountains more. We are drifting thru partly sunny days of fall. This year is the longest fall anyone can remember. There is something about the changing seasons, shedding our outer selves going dormant slowly as the light get's less and less. Found this, thought I would share.
