An Experiment : The International School of Testicular Development

I received this very obscure link http://tistd.ru/ via one of my Google Science alerts. It is about a Russian scientist who believes that there is a link between testosterone, a hormone he calls Chimenea X and psychic powers. According to the press release on the website''s about page :

Professor Nikolay Pirogov (whose great grandfather was a famous Russian Field Surgeon) was born in Krasnoyarsk in Siberia and studied Biophysical Science at Moscow State University before completing his PhD in X Ray Diffraction using natural plant pigment crystals and Professorship at the school of Natural Sciences at Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok.

Professor Pirogov established The International School for Testicular Development (TISTD) in Saratov, to teach men how to enhance their testicular development, so that they can cultivate their psychic powers.

Professor Pirogov said that “Since the school's opening in January 2012, we have had more than 600 graduates from across Europe and 6 from the USA. Since enrolling in our 4 month program, all of our students have demonstrated significant increases in their psychic powers – be they mind to mind communication, creation by will, altering the weather, telekinesis, settling of ghost and other supranormal activity or distance viewing. Most men when they enter our school have very little psychic power and when they leave it has multiplied significantly. Most people do not understand the link between masculinity, sexual energy, testosterone, novel hormones such as Chimenea X and psychic powers.”

The Professor believes that all men have a latent psychic power within them that can be harnessed when they understand the power of their own masculinity. The Professor and his staff (some of whom are women) teach men how to enhance the size and health of their testicles and to enhance the production of male hormones, especially Chimenea X. Professor Pirogov, who spent time in his adolescence and early twenties with the Samoyedic people in Northern Siberia, studied with several Orok – Shaman and was taught how to harness the energy from within the testicles. The Professor says that when he was 23 he was taken on a spirit journey by his loon (spirit animal) into the inner dimensions of his being and shown how to connect with the natural energies of the world. At this time Professor Pirogov was wearing the chest piece that was given to him by his elder Orok. The chest piece contains reindeer bones which link him to the reindeer spirit. Later that year during a reindeer séance, he was taught how to energise his testicles and draw upon their power. He says that within 1 week his psychic powers grew rapidly and that at the end of the month he was able to read the mind's of anyone within sight and see things that were happening at his families home 1100 miles away. Professor Pirogov said that the Samoyedic Orok believe that the male reindeer has powerful psychic energy, as a result of his deep connection to the Earth. It is from the reindeer spirit that he learned to harness the same psychic energy.

Professor Pirogov has challenged his fellow scientists to disprove his theories that there is a link between psychic powers and male hormones – in particular the new hormone Chimenea X.
Professor said that “It is possible for every man to improve his psychic powers and his well being. Here at TISTD we will teach him how to eat energising foods and exercise properly in a way that enhances not only the size of his testicles but more importantly the convolutions of the seminiferous tubules and the region containing the interstitial cells. We have discovered that certain foods and exercises increases the surface area to volume ratio of the seminiferous tubules and increase hormone production. But this is not enough. We must teach a man how to abstain from regular ejaculation and cultivate powerful, well balanced emotional states that enhance a parallel development in his frontal cortex. When men enter and when they complete our program, we measure the size and volume of their testicles, quantify their testicular hormone activity and measure the electrical activity across their brain. We have found that men who complete our program, have more intense activity in the right frontal cortex and extremely high levels of testosterone and Chimenea X. In other words the increase in hormones has brought about greater development in the right frontal cortex – the region most likely responsible for coordinating psychic powers. We are continuing our research into the link between testicular hormones, male energy and development in other areas of the brain. During my time with the Samoyedic people I was also told how women can develop their psychic powers by enhancing the production of eggs. My suspicion is that it is not the production of eggs which enhances psychic ability but the production of female hormones, many of which remain as yet undiscovered. We believe that the work we are doing here represents a breakthrough in the development of psychic powers and in teaching men how to create well being.”

TISTD takes men between the ages on 20 and 85. The cost of the program varies according to the students background. Professor Pirogov says “I was given this gift and told by the Orok to make it accessible to others. So I am not interested in making lots of money. We have received several large donations from wealthy Russian business men who have completed our program.”

Professor Pirogov said that he has received several threats from plain closed men, who he believes are working for the government. He believes that the Russian government wants to shut down the TISTD because of the threat it poses to national security and government authority.

I can neither access this website nor can I find anything about Professor Pirogov or TISTD on the internet -- apart from this thread on Avalon!

Refraining from ejaculation and reversing the sperm flow has long been known to increase health and psychic powers. There are threads about it, for example here and here. The rest of Pirogov´s program sounds quite curious, I wonder if it´s for real...

Tentatively -- I suggest this information may possibly be a joke. The website doesn't seem to exist, and no part of the text in the quoted "press release" came up in Google search results for specific identifying phrases.

If this is real, maybe Bright Garlick can save ('print') the web page as a PDF and then post that here.

The use of t for 'the' in the acronym would be a little unusual, especially in a .ru url, since there is no equivalent of 'the' in Russian. There are also none of the obvious signs that typically give away a writer who has Russian as their first language. In fact the English is at the high end of what would be expected from a native English speaker, apart from an errant apostrophe in 'mind's'. Of course, perhaps that's what Ms. Lokhvitskaya is.. The use of 'miles' instead of 'kilometers' is also inconsistent with a Russian provenance.
