Elbow smash to the president?

For the last few months, Barack Obama has been licking his wounds as his policies have taken a beating.

But the president was hurting for real today after getting twelve stitches in his lip when he was roughed up during a game of basketball.

He was hit in the mouth with an elbow during an early morning pick-up game in Washington.



Mr Obama was playing hoops with family and friends at the Fort McNair army base in Washington when the accident happened.

It was a five-on-five game and included the president’s personal assistant Reggie Love, who played basketball at university. The identity of the player with the errant elbow was not disclosed.

One other thing... who exactly took the picture? It was at an air force base. Are photographers even allowed to enter, especially when the president is there? One thought comes to mind. PR stunt. But for what reason? To show (to the subconscious minds of the masses) that the president is not invincible?

Obama has his own photographer, 24/7 on call, he goes everywhere with him in his waking hours, taking photo's. This is probably one of his and was given the go ahead to release the said photo's.

That explains it, thank you. As for the motive of giving the go ahead of releasing it... As well as the photo through the window, making it look like it was a paparazzi photo...
Perhaps the second photo was taken by a paparazzi, but I doubt it, as the president probably has a well-guarded safe-zone around him.

Thanks for the post Deega, interesting. But, hmm......the Heritage Foundation - the same people that, along with the writers of the Project for the New American Century, brought us Homeland Security, the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Patriot Act, which was conveniently already written and ready to roll out when 911 hit the deckt?? I am pretty relieved they are so forward-looking, always coming up with plenty of fresh threats to intimidate and subjugate us as people's nervous systems become deadened by constant threats of imminent terror attacks after almost 10 years of continual catter-wailing and harrangueing! By no means am I suggesting that there is no genuine threat posed by CMEs......of course there is! But because this threat has been known about for some time with little obvious attention being paid to hardening the electrical grid and taking other precautions to insure that day-to-day life of normal people would continue it is pretty obvious that TPTB couldn't care less about doing anything that would help the everyday Joe in that event..................but it is a very useful tool and propaganda fear technique. And the groundwork is being laid to HARP on that one, too.

We're being hit from so many angles simultaneously that it is dizzying and I am sure that is the intention. To confuse, bewilder, terrorize, and exhaust us.

guess I was the only person that watched Goldeneye... I think that most youngsters that have played Modern Warfare 2 understand what happens when nuke is detonated in the air, as it's beautifully illustrated within the game, art reflects life and even the laser sights on the guns go down due to the EMP pulse, so it's been eluded to. This of course is only If the millions of people who have played this campaign have paid attention to the story that is. I would say they Ignore it as we need to give the people alittle credit here. Blind truth that as presented here can be a scary thing and people DO NOT embrace the truth because they find it scary. But ignorant bliss, in the face of the nightmare they are facing seems to be the course of the decade/age and this is the path the vast majority take because they feel that they can not do anything to stop it.

I am not saying they can not stop it, that is just how the people feel in my opinion. We of course all have opinions and I welcome and respect all.

Is it not so, that the very same measures that would protect from an EMP also would provide a most excellent protection from the sun going completely ape...like so many suggest will happen in two years from now.
Maybe this will be the argument for doing installations that now and forth must be done in the infrastructure in broad daylight.

(wouldn't Faraday cages be a good protection for our electrical devices at home? I.e. Cages with metal sheetings/chicken fence).
