Wow, thank you Sharon.... I had missed this all together! This is an operating bitTorrent link for the Tesla papers:

    http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/4...la?tab=summary

To those who don't know about or use bitTorrents it is a relatively simple process but you need free software installed on your computer.

On Mac I use Vuze and on my old PC (piece of cr*p) I use uTorrent.

Once properly installed you can begin to download PDFs, movies, audios, games and software. (for free)

I am including a screen shot of which link you click on. There are usually several download buttons on the page so you need to know which one to click on. It will read: Download. torrent

    or perhaps: GET THIS TORRENT

DON'T GET CONFUSED BY ALL OF THE FLASHY DOWNLOAD BUTTONS, LOOK FOR THE ONE THAT IS RELATED TO THE TORRENT.

    * Another helpful hint is to look for healthy torrents. They will have a larger number of SE (seeds) to LE (leeches). Seeds are those who are bit torrenting the file and leeches are those who are gathering the information. More seeds faster download = Healthy torrent.

** If you are looking for a BitTorrent to download there are many sites; Isohunt and PirateBay are two main ones. What I do is put the name of what I am looking for in google or search engine of choice with bittorrent tagged on the search criteria.

HAPPY TORRENTING AND THANKS TO OP FOR POSTING THIS ORIGINALLY... ALWAYS GOOD TO BUMP VALUABLE THREADS.
I only have one concern about downloading torrents, since I have been doing this for a long time. Viruses can be hidden and inserted in all kind of programs, videos, audios, etc. Some viruses can damage software and hardware. I like to scan everything I download with three or more full antivirus programs, not free antivirus programs. I like to do this before moving them to my main storage, still things can get through sometimes, and when they do it's a big job.

    Hi, All:

A request for assistance. The scanned copy of Michael Talbot's The Holographic Universe which I uploaded here...

    http://projectavalon.net/The_Hologra...ael_Talbot.pdf

    ..has three double-pages missing:
    • 86 + 87
    • 202 + 203
    • 208 + 209.
If anyone reading this has the original book, and can scan those three missing double-page spreads and e-mail them to me at bill@projectavalon.net, I can insert them into the existing PDF. All copies elsewhere on the net that I've been able to find have the same pages missing.

Important note: It's likely that other editions have differing page numbers. If you think you can help, please download the scanned book from the link above and compare carefully.

    Thank you!

Edit to add: now fixed and fully solved. My thanks to the members who immediately assisted -- please see my post #246 below. The complete book is now at the original link:

Thank you so much! And also to member atman, who likewise sent me the missing pages.
araucaria -- thank you also, but there's no need!

Good teamwork here. The original (unchanged) link now contains the entire book. It's the only complete copy that I'm aware of on the internet.

Many thanks to all here and especially to you Bill for putting the missing pages in The Holographic Universe. I absolutely prefer the pdf format for reading as opposed to any other format. I can read on my tablet or computer and have the book with me at all times.

    A great thread. Thanks all!

I've really been enjoying a book called "History of Mysticism: The Unchanging Testament" by Swami Abhayananda. You can get a free PDF copy here. Here's a blurb about it:

"History of Mysticism – The Unchanging Testament by Swami Abhayananda is an authoritative history book on mysticial experiences. Throughout succeeding ages mystical expericences were echoed by others who had experienced the same realization: “I am the Truth!” exclaimed the Muslim, al-Hallaj; “My Me is God, nor do I recognize any other Me except my God Himself,” said the Christian saint, Catherine of Genoa. And Rumi, Jnaneshvar, Milarepa, Kabir and Basho from the East, and Eckhart, Boehme and Emerson from the West, said the same. These assertions by the great mystics of the world were not made as mere philosophical speculations; they were based on experience so real, that all those to whom it has occurred testify unanimously that it is the unmistakable realization of the ultimate Truth of existence. In this experience, called samadhi by the Hindus, nirvana by the Buddhists, fana by the Muslims, and “the mystic union” by Christians, the consciousness of the individual suddenly becomes the consciousness of the entire vast universe. All previous sense of duality is swallowed up in an awareness of indivisible unity."

Thumbs up Re: Interesting Free Books in PDF

The Master Game: Pathways to Higher Consciousness by Robert S. de Ropp (hosted on www.holybooks.com)

"The Master Game is a book CONCERNED with GAMES and AIMS. Seek, above all, for a game worth playing. Such is the advice of the oracle to modern man. Having found the game, play it with intensity – play as if your life and sanity depended on it. (They do depend on it.) Follow the example of the French existentialists and flourish a banner bearing the word “engagement.” Though nothing means anything and all roads are marked “NO EXIT,” yet move as if your movements had some purpose. If life does not seem to offer a game worth playing, then invent one. For it must be clear, even to the most clouded intelligence, that any game is better than no game.

The Master Game is a DIY spiritual activism book, that suggest a playful and self-experimental way. Download Robert S. de Ropp work The Master Game here in full text pdf: The Master Game By Robert S. de Ropp"

This book is an amazing read that I was happy to find online for free. If I did not find a copy for free online to put in this thread, I was going to scan it myself.

I had success purchasing an old secondhand copy from the 60's with the above cover online and it certainly has not disappointed me in the least.

The Master Game is the only game in life worth playing!

***I searched the thread and forums, but I did not see if anybody posted this already. If they have, I apologize in advance.***

Wanted to include a related ebook: Get Out Of Credit Prison by Regis Sauger which is also at ebookbrowsee.net

For the record - its my favorite ebook website (next to scribd.com) and have never experienced a problem with any downloads.

It's not exactly PDF, but "The Heartmost Desire" is free to read with a Kindle App until November 5th.

    ---
The Heartmost Desire is author/filmmaker J. Neil Schulman's most personal book, containing his manifesto for why liberty is necessary for human self-realization and happiness, and his autobiographical description of the experiences that led him from atheism to God, but still relying on reason and rejecting religion, scripture, and faith.

From the preface and foreword by fellow Prometheus-award-winning novelist, Brad Linaweaver:

Over the years many fans of J. Neil Schulman have said they want another book by him. Sometimes you get what you ask for ... but it's not always what you think you want.

Neil Schulman is one of those writers who doesn't just write the same book over and over and over. He writes a book when he has something to say.

Human life is a dream captured in aquarium of timespace of much greater dream .

There is a message within every message which is called the pure meaning.

Pure meaning is the causality itself , devoid of form and its emptiness .

It's the very abstract and the essence of time and space .

The velocity which you move .

The space orchestra playing the speed of star on the sitar of your soul ..

Upon which all again ..like Great Space Turtle/s

rests mind upon matter free in its own existence

    the Quintessence of Life ..

web woven by sacred weaver throughout the Space ..

    the web of multilevel meanings

There's but one meaning of everything

There is meaning that exists entirely in your mind that is beyond every worldly expression

    That meaning is One .

It has always existed and ever will be ..

Who knows the One , by the nature of oneness one recognises the nature of many

Nasadiya Sukta - The Hymn of Creation

Then even nothingness was not, nor existence,
There was no air then, nor the heavens beyond it.
What covered it? Where was it? In whose keeping
Was there then cosmic water, in depths unfathomed?

Then there was neither death nor immortality
nor was there then the torch of night and day.
The One breathed windlessly and self-sustaining.
There was that One then, and there was no other.

At first there was only darkness wrapped in darkness.
All this was only unillumined water.
That One which came to be, enclosed in nothing,
arose at last, born of the power of heat.

In the beginning desire descended on it -
that was the primal seed, born of the mind.
The sages who have searched their hearts with wisdom
know that which is is kin to that which is not.

And they have stretched their cord across the void,
and know what was above, and what below.
Seminal powers made fertile mighty forces.
Below was strength, and over it was impulse.

But, after all, who knows, and who can say
Whence it all came, and how creation happened?
the gods themselves are later than creation,
so who knows truly whence it has arisen?

Whence all creation had its origin,
he, whether he fashioned it or whether he did not,
he, who surveys it all from highest heaven,
he knows - or maybe even he does not know.
