    Default Think the economy sucks now, just wait

    If you think the economy sucks now, just wait for NAFTA on steroids.

    Remember how the NAFTA trade agreement sent all our middle class jobs to Mexico and China. Well if you are too young to remember that, then you are probably having to keep going for more degrees to get a middle class job that pays less that you dad's union auto worker's job paid plus you are stuck with horrendous college loan debts and still living at home with no hopes of ever buying your own home.

    You need to pay attention to the big picture. What the TPTB is doing now is being done in secret. That should be a red flag. Then they plan to fast track it through Congress on a straight up or down yes or no vote. That should be another giant red flag. Why? Because they want to do this before the public figures out what they are doing.

    It is called the Trans Pacific Trade Agreement and it is NAFTA on Steroids. It really isn't a trade agreement. It is a multinational corporate takeover written by corporations to benefit corporations. It will squash national and individual rights and totally destroy the middle class.

    That's right, you will be flipping burgers all your life and living in a third world country.
    Your silence will be your consent to be a slave without hope. Several of us have written about this before and here is the latest. Please listen to Bill Moyers http://billmoyers.com/segment/yves-s...rets-in-trade/ and hear what it will do to you! Then comment here Trans-Pacific Partnership http://www.ustr.gov/node/5799/done?sid=3781.

    Remember the ETs aren't going to protect you, you are not going to ascend out of this dimension and God helps thoses who help themselves. Don't you think you deserve better than what the cabals have planned for you and your children!!!!

    Look I keep pushing this in posts but with minimal response. Why do I care? Why should I. I will be long dead and gone by the time you realize the significance of this. But I care about the fate of my grand daughter. I wouldn't wish this on her and if we don't stand up to the further erosion of our rights, you will suffer the same fate.

    most people do not see what you see because most were not there in the Nafta agreement. Although Canada has been accused by American to be Mexico like, which is not true, we lost quite a lot in the change too. One thing we lost is not being able to argue against the giant in the South of our borders, when they impose unfair tarification that we cannot aford, as a country to go to court for, because of being menace of other punishment on other of our products. Here, we took nothing from the USA, we just were exporting our natural ressources mainly. But we also lost to Asia quite a lot and to Mexico.

    Having a trans pacific nafta is like giving your country to China, their power is much much much more than Canada and Mexico combined.

    Flash, thank you. I am so glad you understand and also that you do not hold it against the people but understand that this is TPTB's agenda. Knowing your very busy schedule, I am glad you took time to respond and wish you well.

    I am actually preparing a PowerPoint presentation on how NAFTA has destroyed America since its passing for my Economics class. I have gathered loads of opinions and facts and one day, I hope to see in my time, America brought back to the former glory that it was once known for.

    If you do not mind me telling, it is moslty not Nafta that has destroyed all of our economies in Nafta, but the constant search for cheap manufacturing and the largest revenue possible for big corporations and their shareholders. Which has pushed the economy in the East, outside of Nafta territory altogether. The TransPacific agreement is already in existence acutally, de facto, just the laws have not been changed yet.

    Greed has killed America, international greed by we know who.

    You are 100% right about this. Even more alarming, the alternative media is surprisingly quiet on this issue. The TPP is nothing less than the corporate charter of the NWO. If we don't stop it, we have unequivocally crossed the Rubicon.

    Not to derail this good thread, but you guys have heard of the Wal-Mart ghost towns across America?
    Wal-Mart rolls in, destroys the local economy within a few years because it imports nearly everything Chinese, then closes up shop when the town dies.

    It's true, what Flash said, about de facto reality!!

    p.s. Americans wouldn't tolerate small scale localized communism (60's), but by manipulating the huge holes in our capitalist society, the communist nations are presently choking the life out of the US from as you say, across the Pacific. It's uncanny!

    This is very true, Bubu. I also live in a third world country, AKA "developing country".
    Lots of incredible unspoiled nature, but also some smooth roads for easy travel. Plus we have high speed Internet, as well as fruit trees.
    Whether the future will be slavery, or freedom, depends entirely on where I point my attitude binoculars.
    It's really up to me. I wouldn't dream of returning to Europe.

    Bubu, I appreciate your comments and positive attitude, I really do. I do have a problem accepting the complacency of our people. We have been living a bread and circuses lifestyle for too many generations and I really have trouble detaching from the outcome.

    I was on a traveling fellowship in Brasil in the late 1960s. It was the summer of the LA riots in the states. The equivalent of the Life magazine was filled with photos of riots and fires. The cruzeiro dropped and was replaced that summer. The beaches were still filled with vibrant, happy people but the under current of life there was not as serene. I walked one direction, turned a corner into the gunpoint of riot police near the political center of town. I walked another direction and saw riots around the university. I returned to my modest non tourist hotel and discovered the governor was hiding in the hotel's dinning room. Outside on the lush grounds I met a famous Brazilian artist who made me a gift- a delightful sketch that I still treasure. It was a wonderful summer filled with many high contrast experiences.

    Years later, I saw a ban-in-Brasil movie about life in San Paulo. It has disintegrated into the rich all buying bullet proof cars and taking special driving lessons to avoid kidnapping. It is now common place for the rich, especially their children, to be kidnapped, their ear cut off and sent a ransom note. Plastic surgeons now specialize in ear reconstructions for the few survivors....

    I spent part of my honeymoon in Figi when the King and Queen's highways were mere dirt roads. The wine stewart in our hotel was one of the twelve chieftains of Figi. He graciously invited us to a gathering in his cement block home. WE learned that he was one of the negotiators when the big dudes came from NY wanting to build the hotel. I marveled at their astuteness. They insisted that the hotel not be built taller than a palm tree, insisted on jobs for his people and demanded homes for them. The homes were nothing more than concrete floors, cement block walls and the windows just opening in the walls. But I sure felt terrific for him and what they accomplished.

    I guess I see all of this with a perspective that some Avalon members have seen such as yourself and Ulli. I wish for more than might be our fate because so few are willing to help create the future they might want for their children. We are at an important crossroad to improve the lives of everyone on the planet. Their willingness to accept that their silence is consent to a not very highly evolved outcome. Detachment from the outcome is hard for me.

    When you look at the tree, and stop wresting with the branches, you arrive at the point of chopping at the root.

    And when chopping at the root, it involves things like forcing into law, an unavoidable level of public hearings and multi-source genetic and chemical/psychological modelling being the base requirement to obtain office on politics. we can no genetically test for sociopaths, going after political offices and their applicants....as a starting point.

    To chop at the root is to end it, to not chase after symptoms, but to get right to the point of the very source of this never ending game.

    ~~~~~~
    You must take the sociopath that hides inside of these situations, strip their clothes and cloaks off.... and place them bare naked in the middle of the street, for all to see, and then deny them control of humanity, either in their singular self or in their hidden groups.
    Otherwise you will spend the rest of reality closing barn doors after the horse has already left the barn, just like you've been doing for the past 12,000 years.
    What you have right now, is the equivalent of pedophiles in charge of kindergarten schools. The way to end it is to chop at the root. Everything else will only end in more and more of the same.
    Well, the multi-national corporations are already global, owned by elite globalists who have no national affiliations, and believe they are gods who own the whole planet. So, this TPT initiative is nothing new and really changes nothing, other than to stop possible future expensive litigation which might ensue as people begin to wake up and see how screwed they are.
    I think they learned something from Wall Street, ya know, the 5 "too big to fail" banks? Their litigation expenses have been running into the 6 billion to 15 billion a quarter range EACH since they raped and pillaged all the private wealth of the people held in their homes.
    It's like my christian friends telling me not to take the mark of the beast, when we have already done so decades ago, through acquiescence to the corrupt system of commerce, taking SSN# numbers, pledging our birth certificates as bonds for the debt, signing adhesion contracts at every turn, and adhering to draconian rules and regulations every day. Oh, but its not complete until you take the microchip under your skin, that's what were talking about! Oh really?
    What amazes me, is the lethargy and apathy. The drugging of people through the water, air and food, but also the collective entrainment through microwave technology is staggering. I'm flabbergasted at how sophisticated this has become and how so few are aware of it.
    I always thought the mark of the beast would be something along the line of an RFID chip or barcode to be tattooed on our skin. Never thought in any way that a SSN could be the mark of the beast. Either way, I'm still fighting for the light side of the Force and am willing to die for it.
    Americans talk about a NWO--one world under a globalized fiat system. They're worried about it arriving someday. It arrived a couple of decades ago, after the collapse of the wall. Since then we have been living in the 'New Order,' of American hegemony. If the other super powers, China, and Russia can gain some traction in the current political economic mess, there could be some unintended consequences. Currently China exports to the U.S, unimpeded, but the U.S isn't allowed the same ease of access. If the Chinese let their currency float, depegged it from American dollar, AND allowed the U.S free access to their financial markets, the playing field could level.
    But...it's all a mess and I sympathize with GrannyFranny's sentiments. It could get much worse. I think that capitalism, under Mom and Pop operations, small or large corporations, ethical or unethical, is ALL doomed to failure. It all rests on the idea that there will be an ever expanding number of bodies to fill the bottom tier of the pyramid ponzi scheme. This can't work. The planet is past carrying capacity--regardless of what renewable energy advocates claim. We are peak everything, not just oil. The only humane solution is some kind of population reduction by attrition. If this doesn't happen we will be vulnerable to crueler forces. This applies to China more than any other nation.
    The medium of commercial transaction and compliance is not the issue, whether it is electronic or whether it is manual, but the ISSUE is that WE acquiesce to evil and allow it and support it and condition it into our cultures and accept it and encourage it and embrace it and look the other way at times. THAT is the taking of the mark of the beast. This is very complete energetically in all cultures of the planet.
    The very context of a “fight” sets up polarities and divisiveness and negates the possibility for any unity to occur, as forceful wars against evil “to die for” are the very things these evil interlopers we rail against have engrained into our consciousness, and they perpetuate, foment, endorse, teach, encourage, instigate and imbed these divisive concepts into the very fabric of every aspect of our very lives. These notions of opposites, notions of fighting for good through wars, dying for the light, are abstracts with no basis in any reality of abundance and just continue to keep us asleep and separated, poor and abject, polarized and short circuited in the electromagnetic spectrum of manifest consciousness.
    In America, the job was finished in the early 1930’s with the confiscation of all the gold and silver and the Roosevelt ”New Deal” and the issuing of social security. That was the last mark of the beast and the last vestige of sovereignty wiped out. Yes, the globalist got full collateralization of all energy and assets through the bankruptcy of 1933.
    You are correct. The fiat system, based on an ever expanding debt to support it, cannot be sustained, as it forces the rape and pillage of the host environment and accelerates its demise and eventual total destruction. The only way to keep the ponzi going is by more debt faster until the whole thing is fully indebted and collapses upon itself.
    It all rests on the idea that there will be an ever expanding number of bodies to fill the bottom tier of the pyramid ponzi scheme. This can't work. The planet is past carrying capacity--regardless of what renewable energy advocates claim. We are peak everything, not just oil. The only humane solution is some kind of population reduction by attrition. If this doesn't happen we will be vulnerable to crueler forces.
    I don’t think we are at “peak” anything. The globalists want our consciousness to reside in a paradigm of scarcity and divisiveness, so that they can pit groups against each other and foment their just wars and their good fights. Tesla discovered how to harness energy from the earth over 100 years ago, but JP Morgan would not let him implement it and went with the GE model instead where it could be metered and charged for. Look into NAWAPA and you will see there is no shortage of water either.
    Do I think there are too many people on this planet and that we need to reduce the population? Well, it is not natural for humans to reproduce at the rates we do. This goes against nature, and the only way we could go against nature to such a degree is through manipulation of the genome, through altering our very DNA, which the elite did thousands of years ago and that is why they are facing this apparent population issue today. We are chattel property to them and they will do with us as they see fit, just like any corporation does with their equipment when it is fully ametorized and no longer useful. It goes in the dust bin.
    So, the whole paradigm is flawed, outdated, broken, corrupt, destructive, cancerous, and devoid of any redemption. It needs to be torn down. The sooner we realize that we support it with our notions of just wars, notions of economic stability and resource allocation, and good fights based on moral imperatives to redistribute such wealth, and determinism on who, what, where and how this should happen, we are supporting the very structure which we claim to disdain.
    Our best course of action is to not support it and let it collapse, while diligently preparing for this inevitability.
