One thing I learned on this wrestling match out of the birth canal called being born again (oh you so know what I mean lol) is that as you're going, everyone in this black womb we live in is going to fight you tooth and nail to keep you, and the more noise you make as you get brighter, the higher up the ladder they will notice you and try to take you down. And that's the amazing thing.

I'm having a hard time remembering when this happened. I was on a fast at Duck Lake. Three days, four nights, no food or water. Its a test of your spiritual strength in one aspect, and in another it's about letting your spirit eat by letting the body go hungry. The last day, I woke up very early in the morning. Thoughts came out of nowhere. You're hungry. You're thirsty. You're weak. Give up. I just started to cry, sob uncontrollably, and call out. "Why have you forsaken me?"

I had forsaken myself. That's what ended up really sinking me. Once I believed all the crap I was telling myself, I cracked. Elder came and brought a bunch of us out of it. I'm not sorry I came in when I did. Gave me something to remember just now as I read your post.

The light gets stronger, the dark gets weaker, and then suddenly it's all in our heads like it should've been...except how could our parents teach us the way to be if nobody taught them? And back it goes, generation after generation, infinitely back to....where?

That always gets me thinking.

Got plenty of quick blow floatation devices to attach if necessary for rafting. Only thing is trees are sharp and so is rebarb in water, so be careful if you're in the cities.
