Of course it MUST be called Gallifrey! (As suggested by the posters in the original clip!)

Who says it shouldn't be there? We are not the controllers of the Universe, indeed we are merely inhabitants of a small blue planet on the edge of a smallish galaxy and we are just beginning to explore the vastness of the universe and all there is to discover. To say such unimaginable space is not obeying our puny laws would be amusing if it were not such a sad illustration of our arrogance as a species! We can only see, or sense a small portion of what is 'out there', and only 12 of us have left our planet to stand on another world (and many, but not me, dispute even that!) I am really interested by this disobedient 'new' discovery and hope to hear more of it in the future.

They forget our solar system sits on the outer rim of our galaxy , it will be a while before they really understand anything about the rest of the inhabited planets in our neck of the woods ...

Except it is not. Our solar system sits roughly half way from the centre to the edge.

I'm not sure if anyone bothered to read about it, but, they are not implying that it is out of place physically, what they are saying is that it is out of place in our standard theory of planetary formation, due to its massive size and vast distance from the star. It is a really fascinating new planet, and it may help to pave new understanding of how planets may form.

I think what they mean is, on the edge of our galactic "arm" where the sun is located, in relation to the rest of the stars in the rest of the galactic "arms".
