Default Affluentia is an immunity for persecution

Affluentia- noun of state from affluentem .
    Affluence
    1. abundance of money, property, and other material goods; riches; wealth.
2.an abundant supply, as of thoughts or words; profusion.
3.a flowing to or toward; afflux.

I am going to propose this, as a new kind sickness for DSM V.

People who raised in with 3 private cities (city of London- Vatican, DC Washington)
feel that they are not broken any rule when they criminally act.

    first case

    Second case
    Conflict of interest trial
See also: Rob Ford conflict of interest trial
In August 2010, the City of Toronto's integrity commissioner ruled that then-Councillor Ford had not followed City Council's Code of Conduct by using official letterhead and other council resources in fund-raising letters for his football foundation. Ford had accepted $3,150 on behalf of the foundation and the commissioner indicated that Ford should pay back the money.[132][133] On August 25, 2010, the City Council discussed the integrity commissioner's report and voted 26–10 for Ford to return the money.[134] Following the meeting, Ford forwarded letters from several donors to the integrity commissioner expressing their wishes that they did not want repayment. By February 2012, Ford had not paid the amount and the matter was raised at a February 7, 2012 City Council meeting.

Ford spoke and voted his committed allegation held at the February 7 meeting on as City Council voted "[t]hat City Council rescind the previous decision made under Item CC52.1[135] and direct that no further action be taken on this matter", which carried by majority, 22 voting Yes, 12 No, with 11 absent.[132][136] In March 2012, a complaint was filed by Paul Magder from Toronto alleging that Ford's actions in voting at the February 2012 Council meeting had violated the Ontario Municipal Conflict of Interest Act"

    Third case

Addition to above this is ridiculous I believe,

    Forth case

Ethan Couch, 16, of Keller, Texas, had faced 20 years behind bars but walked away with 10 years probation Tuesday

A psychologist called by the defense, Dr. Gary Miller, blamed the teen's behavior on his parents, claiming they gave him whatever he wanted including 'freedoms no young person should have.'
Miller called Couch a product of 'affluenza,' where his family felt their wealth bought privilege and there was no rational link between behavior and consequences. He added that the boy had an 'intellectual age' of 18 but an 'emotional age' of 12.
'The teen never learned to say that you’re sorry if you hurt someone,' Miller said, according to the Star Telegram. 'If you hurt someone, you sent him money.'
State District Judge Jean Boyd appeared to agree with the defense.

'Money always seems to keep (Couch) out of trouble,' Eric Boyles, whose wife and daughter were killed in the June 15 crash, told the Star Telegram after sentencing. 'Ultimately today, I felt that money did prevail. If (he) had been any other youth, I feel like the circumstances would have been different.

Hey Tangri - Affluentia is a widespread disease. If we introduced it into the DSM - it would double the size of the book !!!

Clive Hamilton has written extensively on the disease aspect !

"Af-flu-en-za (n). 1. The bloated, sluggish and unfulfilled feeling that results from efforts to keep up with the Joneses. 2. An epidemic of stress, overwork, waste and indebtedness caused by dogged pursuit of the Australian dream. 3. An unsustainable addiction to economic growth. - See more at: http://clivehamilton.com/books/affluenza/#sthash.2PiQfN7a.dpuf"

I am totally in agreement with this diagnosis of affluenza. Money as an instrument for flexible barter is OK. Money as a self-proliferating tool of personal enrichment is clearly a disease akin to a cancerous growth.

However, the Conrad Black case may be a little more interesting than merely a rare instance of one of these guys ending up in jail. I know nothing about this case, but it just could be that he was framed and the victim of a miscarriage of justice in the American legal system, which as we know is far from squeaky clean. If he was convicted of embezzling a couple of hundred thousand, even if this figure needed doubling or tripling, it is hardly enough to account for his being 'a millionaire with the lifestyle of a billionaire'.

Having said that, if he were truly a victim, it would be because he was some kind of whistleblower who had to be disgraced. But I guess there is no evidence of anything like that. So it would seem that personal greed and ambition is his main motive. If here were totally honest, he would see that even if he were innocent, as a 'convicted criminal' it would not be appropriate for him to continue sitting in the House of Lords.

Problem with this disease They fell that they didn't do anything wrong according their custom, in their case, it is true. because their kind make decision to 'what must be the law" they are confused. They create the law and everything goes smooth with the law. why they are convicted. They are angry because allegations rise only with common sense of public not by written law.
    Look what did they said;

first case BC- This is not against the law at Great Britain, American justest just playing with the rule.

second case RF- voting on my own wrong doing did not seem conflict of interest.

third case AT- Holding female as a sex slave is not considered to be a crime in Saudi Arabia.

forth case EC -Why would I be sorry it was an accident.

It look like it is unfair for them being picked up by their own law.

As Psychologist(!) claimed, they are unfit the trial. This must be consider as an undiagnosed psychological disorder. Then, I have to propose to put it in a new diagnostic manual, to help this poor people.

Skylar Murphy admitted in court that he put together a pipe bomb with a friend last year and planned to blow up a shed in rural Alberta for fun, but forgot the explosive in his bag until he was in line at the Edmonton airport.

Screening staff found the device but — in an admitted foul-up — didn’t immediately call RCMP and allowed the 18-year-old passenger to board a plane to Mexico with his family for a holiday.

The RCMP believed an Edmonton-area teen’s story that he had no plans to blow up a plane with a pipe bomb he said he unintentionally carried through airport security, because he had a “shocked reaction” when security screeners found the device, according to court transcripts obtained by CBC News.

The RCMP based this belief on surveillance video from the encounter at Edmonton International Airport on Sept. 20 between then 18-year-old Skylar Murphy and security personnel.

“I didn’t view [the video] but [RCMP investigating officer] Constable [Jim] Kirkpatrick described to me, he said it was obvious on the surveillance video, when the object was pulled out of his bag, the shocked reaction he had,” Crown prosecutor Trent Wilson told the court at Murphy's hearing on Dec. 5.

In the lawsuit, Ghomeshi had claimed that, in firing him, the corporation had acted “in bad faith.”

Ghomeshi’s termination came on the same day he showed CBC executives videos that showed bruising on the body of a woman he had dated, Torstar has reported.

    http://metronews.ca/news/toronto/122...t-against-cbc/

I want to edit post , to clear Ghomishi. The person was a talk show persona on CBC radio. He used his fame to silence any victim of his sadistic approach to women.

His Affluentia is preventing him to understand, not consented sadism, accepted as a crime. If you are using your profession for active crime, you will be suspended or fired.
