    Default Pilot Crashes, Sees Own Body Hanging in Trees: Near Death Experience

    This near death experience was shared by Canadian pilot Jeffrey S. on the Near Death Experience Research Foundation website and on YouTube. There has been a lot written about NDE but this one is particularly intriguing because there is some physical evidence to back up this pilot's story.

    Source: Near Death Experience Research Foundations, nderf.org
    Here is the full report plus Q & A submitted to website by Pilot Jeffrey S.

    Chief Pilot Jeffrey S.
    The Crash
    While operating as the chief pilot for a Canadian air service, I crashed shortly after take off.

    I had a catastrophic engine failure. Panic was my immediate response, but my training kicked in … I tried restarts, [but] could not get it to fire. I secured the engine and prepared for a crash landing.

    As the floats on the aircraft started to make contact with the tree tops, I pulled back and purposely stalled the aircraft and the left wing dropped and I felt the impact with the first tree. At that moment, everything went into super slow motion. I watched the wing wrap around the tree and watched my wing tear off the aircraft… then everything went black and I was out for the remainder of the crash through the trees.

    I fully had accepted this was my time to die, and I went from pure panic for the first 30 seconds, to an almost peaceful calm that this was how I was going to die.

    I woke up in the aircraft and was bleeding very badly from [my] head. I noted the severe injuries to my arm and [my] complete upper body was broken. I realized I should exit the aircraft as soon as possible as there was a risk of fire. … I exited the aircraft. …

    [I took paper towels with me and blotted the blood on my head to stop it from running into my eyes as I walked along the treeline]

    Discovery, Horror
    I looked to the aircraft now about 50 feet away from me. The cockpit windows were level with the ground so I could see into the cockpit when I sat down. To my … horror, I saw the captains seat upside down and an arm and leg dangling from it! I knew at that moment I was looking at myself.

    I then looked around and saw a beautiful blue sky like none I’d ever witnessed. … There was not a single sound, not a bird, not even a whisper of wind. I was quickly very comfortable and felt very safe there.

    I then looked back into the cockpit to confirm what I saw, and sure enough I was still hanging there upside down in my seat. At that exact moment, I uttered the words ” …I’m dead.” I instantly went out at that moment.

    Back to Life, Against Amazing Odds
    I woke up four days later … in the hospital. … I had 22 broken bones, smashed right orbital bone, and a serious head injury. … I had no brain injury at all, and the doctors call me a true medical miracle.

    I sat before a medical review board in 2009 after my crash and one of the five doctors present stated that with my head injury, it’s fatal 99 times out of 100. Then for those lucky enough to survive, only one in 1000 survive with no brain injury. That makes the odds of me surviving with no brain injury less than winning the lottery eight times in my lifetime.

    The Mystery Deepens
    [When I met the helicopter pilot who rescued me and told him my experience, he] started to cry. He said, “Captain, when I found you, you were hanging upside down in your seat and you did not exit the aircraft.”

    The thing that still no one can answer is why they found 54 blood soaked paper towels strewn all in front of the aircraft, with a trail leading to the edge of the tree line as I explained. It sent chills up and down my spine when I realized I never actually exited the aircraft.

    Further Realizations After the Experience
    By seeing my lifeless body in the cockpit, I was suddenly aware of one universe and we are all one piece of the puzzle. …

    It was a moment of peace and some understanding.

    It sounds kind of like he visualized survival and got what he wished for.
    Or that his subconscious had a great desire to exit that plane and gave the body some hope to ponder while it rested.

    The bloody towel thing, though, is sort of mind-boggling.
    It could be that when someone is unconscious, or partly out cold, that the part of the brain responsible for dreaming is very active.
    In fact he might have wiped his face and dropped the towels out of the window without being aware of it.

    People who fall asleep in class while taking notes often wake up and see a tiny dot on their paper instead of the lines they were writing in the dream.
    That is because our bodies protect themselves by restricting our movement while we are unconscious.

    I think consciousness is the final frontier; we need to really look into this stuff and also look at manifestations of healing and survival.

    He is lucky, yes, but there has to be more to the story than luck.
    It could be that the lack of fear of death permitted his body enough energy to avoid shock.

    Is it possible that a positive entity protected him from the shock, kept him alive for another "mission" while on earth?

    How about the "create" powers about everyone on this forum talks about but no one seem to believe... coupled that with "spirit"/"soul" that is the real "creator"... hence a spirit/soul BELIEVING it is hurt and bleeding will CREATE the hurt and blood... but knows itself still alive... and so was its CREATIONS... errr... its bodies... physical and spiritual. The interesting part is that, that "spiritual body" was "solid" enough to pick up paper towels

    Fascinating story. Sounds like a standard near death out of body experience until you hear about the towels.

    The only thing that comes to mind is in the Carlos Castaneda books, the sorcerers both Don Juan and Don Genero on many occasions meet him in what they call their double, or their dreaming body, while their physical body is hundreds of miles away, and yet Castaneda can't tell the difference and they can interact with the world as if it was their physical body.

    Maybe the accident disconnected the two and our spirit or our dreaming body can still, under certain acts of power or intent, interact with the physical world in ways we simply don't understand.

    Either that or he was in such shock that he made it out without pain, wiped his head and hallucinated seeing his body back in the cockpit, then walked back and sat down. Though that seems as equally incredible.

    And a thousand other instances like this? The wizard? Bilocation? tulpas? Wizards and their giant golems and the like? all the same. This is also a skill of the alchemist, or wizard, once they enable themselves through training and the philosopher's stone.

    ~~~~~~
    Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina was known for many phenomena, none more mysterious than his seeming ability to appear in two places simultaneously.
    This is called "bilocation," and it's a mystical gift that is truly unfathomable. How can a physical object -- the body -- be in two separate locations? Is it the person's spirit they see -- the "prolongation" of a personality? Or is it simply an angel manifesting in the visage of the person who sent him?
    These are questions that, at least for now, must go unanswered. What we can say is that it's a phenomenon that has been reported with saints such as Anthony of Padua and Alphonsus Liguori. More recently, we have spoken with witnesses who have testified to the bilocations of Maria Esperanza, the great Venezuelan mystic.
    With Padre Pio the examples were extraordinary. He was seen by a man lost on the Sahara desert who was then led to safety by the mysterious stranger (after this man's mother had sought Padre Pio's aid). He was witnessed, or so they say, in the U.S., in Hawaii. He was reported in Siberia. There are those, including bishops, who say he was spotted at the Vatican itself (appearing to Pope Pius XI during a crisis moment, when an archbishop was trying to defrock him), and also at the canonization of St. Therese the Little Flower in 1925.
    ~~~~~~~~
    I myself have created tulpas that others have seen and dealt with, and many another thing(s).

    Just the other day, (3-4 days back) I was talking with a being that was inhabiting the body of a 'retarded person', for the purposes of having contact with me.

    Once you begin to understand these things, they come to you. You begin the process of integrating with them.

    When that happens, you can back off in confusion and fear, and it will fade. It will even fade from your memory, if you desire that. Or you can control the reality formation so that it comes closer to you, more often. To find you own level, speed, and limit in it.

    Energy? it surrounds you in a way and level that is ~UNIMAGINABLE~ to you.

    A quote from physicists who speak on dark matter and the vacuum, and you, yourself:

    Every cubic centimeter of empty space contains more energy than the total energy of all the matter in the known universe.

    (David Bohm)

    Many others are a bit more conservative in their estimates, as in: one cup of empty space having enough energy to boil the earth's oceans. (Richard Feynman, IIRC)

    So, imagine having access to even the TINIEST bit of that.

    Which you emphatically do have access to.

    Here, the equation, in general,in only the single accepted sciences, never mind the stuff we suspect might add to that:

    Lets go for the low side, which is the higher number, as this is only accepted science, not what Bohm and others predict.

    That's...

    100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

    Joules of energy, in each cubic meter of space.

    Let's define some joules, so average folks can get some sort of grip on it.

    A foot pound will do nicely. Which is the amount of energy required to lift one pound (454grams), one foot (30cm) upward, from the surface, at sea level. 1380 joules, is what it takes.

    That comes out to... the energy in one cubic meter of empty space... being able to lift:

    5,502,184,367,193,775,929,043,830,400,670

    Planet earths.... one foot in height.

    You are of that energy and it is of you, and all that surrounds you.

    And, you have access to some of that energy.

    Right now, listening to:

    So, essentially..what the hell are you afraid of? How could you possibly be full of fear?

    Think about it.

    The human body, being mostly water, is equatable, in a sort, to the displacement volume of 0.07 cubic meters of 'water'. Mmmmkk?

    Now, let's take that number of earths, which is a volume based calculation, a cubic meter -exactly one. let's take that and multiply it by that 'average human displacement volume equivalence'.

    So...the amount of energy, or the lifting of planet earths, one foot in height.... that amount...coursing through the space you exist in and as....is:

    385,152,905,703,564,315,033,068,128,047.0 (in the form of lifting that many earths, one foot, is inside of your 'space' right now)

    And, due to the variance of human mass displacement, that is accurate, give or take a few quadrillion earths being lifted that one foot.

    Again, such fantastical numbers, yes?

    But true. This is not speculation in the world of science. This is accepted scientific facts and theories. No speculation in those energy levels, OR their existence in and of you. This is a thing that hard science says.

    This does not even begin to touch any wild ass theories or speculation.

    such enormous levels of energy and pressure. and, some people in science, some religions, etc, say you are devoid of ANY form of involvement in that energy. "Go away, go home, take your beatings and imprisonment, there's nothing to see here!", they all say.

    Yet, thousands of books, records, texts, entire libraries of texts and stories, even scientifically done studies in thousands.... over thousands and thousands of years, says different. They all say that yes indeed, you DO personally have access to some form of manipulation and involvement with that energy.

    So, imagine the tiniest tickle of capacity in those energies.

    Look how ENORMOUS that 'miniscule' energy access level would be...and is.
