Continue with that idea to make a calendar of special dates every month, here is the December 2013 thread.

Dec 14, 2013 - “Wake up at 4 AM for the Geminid meteor shower. - It’s going to be cold,” says Bill Cooke of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office. “But that is the best time to see the 2013 Geminid meteor shower.”

Dec 16, 2013 - The real 21-12-2012 Mayan date? Suppressing the year zero from the calculations ... Check this one up on the internet.
