Somehow I've run out of things to say.
To explain why I feel this way would mean making a list of all the blows I received last year,
which is quite substantial,
and is not only about the four deaths, or the denial of a building permit- there are quite a few other things
that contribute to this sense of hopelessness.
I'm also really concerned about what the effects of the Fukushima radiation will mean for us.

Can one be blamed for longing for salvation?

It would appear you are not the only one Ulli - the thread seems to have had a day off. I can confirm that for me the past while has been one of underlying despondency. But weren't the first few days of January supposed to be astrologically tough?

Not too long ago, (in a PM), I let you know that I was feeling kinda hopeless, Ulli, and your response was encouragement for me to redirect my energies - specifically diverting from what was the core issue dragging me down to positive visualization for a positive future. Thank you. I now hold up your words (paraphrased) as a mirror to you.

You may be (likely are) still in a period of grieving, and I would not recommend to abandon the grief cycle, but rather complete it. But right now, you can plant a seed in your consciousness that you will be back on track, and that you do know the path.

Cannot pretend to know what you are going through.

We all go through things of a similar basis but you seem to have it hitting all at once.

So very many times on this forum and particularly in this thread you have shown a remarkable talent for bringing understanding and reconciliation for others when they are facing challenges in their lives.

Wish I could pass along something more ... yes I have posted this before.

Don't know of a better way to approach situations like this.

Yesterday I turned some of Ulli’s cathedral ceilings upside down to get a better look without getting a crick in my neck. I’ve done the same with this. What you get is what optically goes in through your eyes: everything is upside down and they say it is the brain that puts things the right way up.


But what if it not the brain at all, but the soul that turns things round and brightens things up? Relatively soulless beings would see their world as very dark, and if they had the occasional glimpse of something brighter, it would be ‘the wrong way round’ and difficult to grasp. If they saw a beautiful lake scene, this is how it would look.

And when a soulful being’s inner eyes tires momentarily, this might be how it sees things too… for a little while.

Hugs Ulli I love you

I lost someone dear and close to my heart late spring last year. She was an adopted mom. Early winter I took the frantic emergency trip to see her. Knowing it probably would be the last time. We visited for a short while I gave her a kiss and hug good night and I love you. I miss her.

This last year I have watched as a family member is escalating into darkness. It grabbed her when she was a wee thing and has slowly taken and eaten her soul.

I have another very dear friend that is very close to falling into their own shadow the shadow lands. Very close to a psychotic schizophrenic break.

My heart breaks for them. Wanting them to find their Light and their gifts. Loving them and knowing that it may never be received.

For the last three months I have been battling dark forces -spirit and physical ones.

Through it all some of my own spirit gifts have been unfolding.

Feeling and seeing the shadows.
I just keep my head up, keep going moving forward.
Feeling scared, feeling alone and even lonely.

Then New Year's day I received a message in my inbox from Beren one of our Spiritual Light warriors.... with one of his beautiful poems. I asked him permission to share it here...

From afar shines a lonely star...
Heed the message says the heart
blindfolds are still tight
in a little world amongst innumerable stars...

"Darkness at bay"
sang little fay
"Freedom to roam the vastness of Love
sans fear to quench the soul"

Wilt thou be the one who you are?

Here and now, it is quite cold. Outside and in the house, too. Wish I had a fire burning this morning. Feeling disoriented after spending quality time with my attorney yesterday. Odd that I am initiating this action, as if I must take the lead. Actually, I must I suppose. It is either do that or hang on. No sense in hanging on, things must unfold how it is Written. Funny, I'm disoriented because I don't know what is ahead. I'm told by a friend that though humans feel the need to control our lives, having a plan limits the ability of the Universe in how it can help you grow. Walking blindly is a great thing, my friend says, because manifestation happens in the chaos. Walking into a great unknown means I (we) are more open to things, there are no expectations. Plans are like contracts, and those muddy the waters.

Here and Now, there are no expectations. Which is scary. Talk about taking a leap off a cliff. Trusting my wings. Trusting my Higher Ups. Or at least faking it till I make it. Going through the exercise until I feel it to my core. I am sure that will happen because I have felt that before. And really, before is the same moment as after, and now is the same moment as then. So I think I'm onto something staying in this moment. Reminding myself that what I am conscious of is a tiny fraction of What Is...

Here is what I'm struggling with, and this is my firm conviction,
namely that the universe is awaiting my contribution.
Like a white canvas, and here I am, brush in hand.

And it is awaiting yours, too.
It's all just a matter of deciding what to paint...how to proceed.
What do we want to see? We have endless freedoms, really.
Once our hearts are in the right place we find that doors are opening,
even if they are slamming shut for thousands of others.

I take responsibility for what will be, while wondering if I might (please) have a hint where to look for inspiration. I am thinking this will come from inside. I just hope I see it, recognize it. Maybe it just isn't quite time yet. I really don't know. Such a jumble right now. Like the dust needs to settle maybe? I hope that's it.

After lunch it's off to church again. This time the ninth day prayer for the deceased.
