Not wishing to shoot the well intentioned messenger but havta' say it does sound so:

cheesy / rehashed / new age / jibber-jabber / cliché / common sense / sanitized / yawn worthy / same old guff.. delivered by yet another middle aged light worker

but.................. beyond that admittedly jaded response

and amongst many 'seasoned' folk, I won't be alone in saying that there are no fresh revelations but some recognized wisdoms inherent

and dare I say, without meaning to be mean spirited... Grandmothers/people throughout the ages will have communicated such in the ways and the language of the time..

    No just honour your heart

Recap, ok that's how you see/feel about it. The video and honour your heart will mean different things to different people...even if it's just a good reminder. It's not exactly stuff I don't know! *giggle*, but I liked it :-)

(I also know Tricia Brennan a little, saw her in Aus for a very good reading 5 years ago, and a short group course with her, lovely lady, and it's nice to see her making videos, cheesy bits and not, hehe :-) )

Angry Re: 2014 A Year to Honour our Hearts

    Heh Amethyst...

    granted and your point respected

but then my expression re how it may likely affect many others was not altogether undermining Tricia and her work..

maybe you missed the use of irony in my approach.

The Australian convoluted form of attention to things via the uses of humour and irony is often misunderstood unfortunately. So what is perceived as a 'no brainer' in one cultural frame.. is of course lost to another. Whether or not my post is appreciated, is not really my concern here.. rather I'm attempting to describe differences on an interpretative level.

A pity l need to answer to this on one hand and a good thing you responded in another, so that other readers may relook at and reinterpret my intentions, if they so choose If you relook, I wasn't exactly about calling a spade, a spade... or denigrating Tricia's wisdom.

p.s.. not up for further debate on this one, as when all said and done.. its just all in the name of contributions to the colourful warps and wefts of a thread

    Hi Recap

I didn't think you were putting Tricia down as a person, I knew that you were just talking about what she was saying. I added that I've met her because it is also partly a personal thing why I liked to see her making a video as we have had a connection and it's nice seeing her put herself out there more in public (and for people to hear the messages).

It's been nice "talking" lol (would be boring in life if all views and expressions were the same!)
