    The Roots of Consciousness
    Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD

    Amazon review :
A clinical psychologist and expert on parapsychology looks at the way history, folklore, and science shape the understanding of psychic ability
-- Explores the idea that telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, psychokinesis, astral projection, and other such powers are latent within everyone
-- Illustrated with 100 black-and-white photographs and illustrations
The title for The Roots of Consciousness was inspired by a statement of cosmologist Arthur M. Young, who cautioned against seeking only the "flowers of consciousness," such as clairvoyance and telepathy, considering them no more than the "intriguing foliage" of psychology. Author Jeffrey Mishlove, however, believes that these and other psychic powers are not just for show, but are "rooted in the essential core of our existence."

In this thorough book, Young makes the case that, although alien to Western society's ways of thinking, psychic phenomena is deeply embedded within consciousness. He looks at:
-- History: studies shamanistic traditions; the ancient civilizations of India, China, Greece, Mesopotamia, and Rome; early Hebrews, Christians, and hermits; and Islamic beliefs and ideas in Medieval Europe, the Renaissance, and the Age of Enlightenment
-- Folklore: examines astrology; astral projection and out-of-body experiences; faith healing; auras; communication with angels and other spirits; contact with UFOs and aliens; near-death experiences; mind over matter; and practical applications like dowsing and psychic police work
-- Science: chronicles and evaluates formal research into psychic capacities, especially ESP; hypnosis; psychic performers such as Pavel Stepanek, Bill Delmore, and Uri Geller; psychokinesis

Throughout the book, Mishlove presents the viewpoints of both believers and nonbelievers as a further means of introducing the language and concepts of psychic functioning.

The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch

    https://www.dmt-nexus.me/Files/Books...s_of_Enoch.pdf

The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch®is a textbook that states the issues of the future in spiritual and scientific prose. The Keys examine the puzzles of life and give a spiritual explanation as to why we exist in this reality. In essence, it provides both the scenario of an ongoing past/present/future cosmology and a blueprint for a new direction in humankind's evolution into a higher state of consciousness.

The Keys of Enoch®teaches us that a greater unity can and must occur between the scientific and spiritual pathways in order for the problems of Earth to be solved. Its ultimate purpose is the advancement of humanity, with the goal of changing our orientation so that we are prepared for a higher spiritual attunement and a quantum shift that will move humanity and the earth forward into the next step in our evolution. In this process an ultimate interaction is foretold, as we discover "greater families of intelligence in the universe who share the same Higher Evolution and the same Divine Source."

The text is a multi-level process of instruction whereby the reader acquires the ability to work with mental pictures, sacred language, and consciousness expansion through which an actual transformation takes place, with the recognition that life is a process of experiencing multidimensional worlds. The text explains how we can discover God's Manifestation as it emanates Higher positive Thought-Forms and mathematical Rhythms of Light and Vibrations, and shows how all Higher Thought-Forms work with the vibrations of Light-waves in a harmonious coordination of collective — not independent —"pathways" that bring us to a deeper connection with the Living God.

The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch® was the first book to point ouOverviewspring2008t the alignment between the Great Pyramid and the constellation of Orion. It was also the first book to show the direct relationship between DNA coding and the Divine Name. Additionally, The Keys describe the Divine Genetic Code within the human body that will prepare humankind for new vistas of life within the surrounding Higher Evolution, using aspects of the identical central genetic-light information for light transformation.

The Keys are, collectively, a CODE BOOK that explains how the Divine is extended and manifested through higher Thought-Forms that unfold throughout all realms of life. It should be pointed out that this text was not "channeled" but given to the author in direct face-to-face experience with two beings of Higher Superluminal Intelligence. Therefore, these Keys provide us with a great preparation, not only for the grand unification of the material realm, but for the ascension from the material and meta-material realms into the consciousness and spiritual realms of higher creation. Ultimately, the text seeks to help us with the complete transformation of our physical and mental skills and Quantum Mind experiences. In this, the mystery of what Christ referred to as "The House of Many Mansions" is no longer a mystery, but an active revelation of meaning in which we are active participants.

The Keys, thus, are a blueprint for the different levels of spiritual consciousness, and provides a "coding" for the understanding of these levels of reality through its intensive study. It challenges us to go beyond the ordinary three-dimensional thinking of our rational intellect, in order to accept it supra-rationally. More importantly, The Keys tell us that we are all experiential beings with free will. It is the acceptance and integration of our Higher Self with the spark of the Divine, in conjunction with the energy field which brings forth the knowledge of the true science of Life, that will enable each and all of us together to make the quantum leap.

Since I thoroughly enjoyed reading the Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot, I bought copies of his other three books and was just drawn to pick up his book Your Past Lives: A Reincarnation Handbook when I asked the question, "How can I remember my lost memories?" Gotta love that synchronicity and being led to your answers -- and I had not even looked at what his book was about in the first place!

Anyways, I had a feeling it was online and, although I have not read it, I felt I should post it here as it may help us to remember exactly who and what we each are.

Your Past Lives by Michael Talbot

A person in touch with his or her past lives has discovered one of life's most profoundly rewarding experiences. Contrary to popular belief, the ability to recall past lives does not require special powers or supernatural gifts. As this invaluable book shows, almost anyone with desire and determination can learn to summon memories from previous incarnations.

This step-by-step guide will teach you how to open this illuminating window from your past: who you were, when you lived, whom you loved -- and what role it all plays in your present life.

You will learn how to call up past-life recollections in meditative states, normal waking states, and in dreams, and how to recognize past-life dreams you may already be having. With such tools as the Resonance Method, the Christos Technique, self-hypnosis and guided meditations, you will soon enter an extraordinary dimension -- a world of endless, fascinating yesterdays and enlightened new tomorrows.

"An explicit, step-by-step buide for remembering and exploring past lives . . . Will fascinate."
    -- The Tampa Tribune

Most of us think we are capable of and constantly do practice the art of "independent thinking", but is that really the case? How many of us have just tended to believe what we have been told? Here is one "for instance", the gravity-centric standard model of the universe; are you up-to-date on what has been and is being said about it? ... do you still think it is correct? Here's a free (in .pdf format) introduction to a far better alternative paradigm ...

I downloaded them all, and added a whole bunch of my own: the whole resulting collection of more than 170 e-books can be downloaded here in a single 707 Mb zip file:

    Notes:
    • I removed Lawrence Spencer's "Alien Interview". It's a hoax.
    • Some of the books are rare and hard to find -- and important. Many are of significant historical interest.
    • A substantial number of the books I've been sent by others (especially in Folder 2), and I have NOT read or evaluated them.
    • A few will be duplicates in different file formats.
    • All files have been checked for viruses and are clean.
    • In my personal view, the zip file is way more than a gold mine. Enjoy.
I found it Bill. Great PDF books here, and on this amazing thread. This thread should be bumped once a week IMO. My Thanks to the OP, Bill and the other contributors.

Post #292 and 293 - (not because these are Bill's, but becaues they are exactly what I am hungry for at the mo.)

I am going to re-read everything here, and see if I could add some of my old finds to this excellent collection (in case I loose my copies on my side ... ).

    Also (online, free):
I usually use Zamzar, as sometimes the formatting is preserved more reliably.
