.... But then he says that the Toba volcano said to account for the extinction level event 70,000 years ago as "in the same ballpark", i.e. we are talking about the same event. I just checked the size of this ballpark (Toba is in northern Sumatra): 7,700 km, that's nearly 5,000 miles. There is a major discrepancy here: you cannot talk in terms of pinpoint accuracy in the same breath as such rough-and-ready approximations. I find Brown rather less than convincing on this point.
What I understood about "Toba" and the "ballpark" is that it had to do with the dating of ~ 70,000 not the location... that is, the timing of an Extinction of Life Event attributed to the Toba eruption.
Well no, he said Indonesia was just the wrong side of Australia: north-west instead of south-east.

I was up late last nite.

    Sorry about that!

    Dont be sorry Harley
I and many others appreciate you posting all that you have.

I thought it important to get this one out soonest as there is the change of month delivery date and now its looking like it well may be bigger that I was beginning to believe.
Sounds like something has been discovered --uncovered---a breakthrough --irrefutable evidence of ??????

Hmmm, so something can stop it ...

Quote For those of you worried about people being cynical due to a short delay in the announcement, just don’t worry about it. All of that will go away once the announcement happens
Quote This short delay is not significant relative to the importance of the announcement
Assuming that TPTB already know what this is about and don't want this to happen ... delay will be significant. If political instability
alone can stop this from happening and while this finale game is now in extra time they've got an extra chance.

I hope Courtney realizes the condition that you only win the finale once you score that goal that you have in mind.
    Never underestimate your opponent ...

Perhaps it's insurance ... if something happens to him a lot of people will be aware in which direction to look for clues.

It's one of the choices how to approach this. Another choice would be a surprise attack style ... but would that work
in a world where it is harder and harder to surprise your opponent?

Yes, it does appear to be much larger than many here thought:

Quote I have been on the phone all night with people in the U.K., India, South Africa, and elsewhere, all involved with the upcoming announcement. [...] But there were some uncertainties due to the international nature of the issues involved, so we held off releasing the date. [...] It was wise we did that. Nothing can stop the announcement, but the date involved a lot of coordination with various parties. The problem has been further exacerbated due to the fact that the announcement involves a location which at the present time is not entirely stable politically. Also, shipping of critical materials was involved, and one shipment turned out to have been corrupted, apparently while in transit. This is now being addressed. [...]
    Interesting.

Have they discovered something which has allowed them to piece together other previously known artifacts/discoveries from around the world, sort of like completing a puzzle to form a complete picture?

Also, which location is not entirely stable politically? There are many on most continents.

And "shipping of critical materials was involved, and one shipment turned out to have been corrupted, apparently while in transit." sounds to me like he's referring to some sort of testing materials. As-in photographic, or Carbon Dating, or etc.

Although it is not in his mentioned list I was 'thinking' of Ukraine ... i.e. not by logical reasoning
but it 'popped up' in my mind out of the blue.

The following I got by logical reasoning:

    - The unrest there started not long ago
    - It seems like fight between Russia and the west (Europe)
    - The conflict appears somewhat 'artificial'

    Coincidences:
    - Ed Dames (another 'known' Remote Viewer) lives there
    - Ed Dames was Courtney's teacher in RV

Something is not sitting right with me and need more time to assess about this Announcement thing.

That pyramid shaped mountain in Ukraine sounds logical though. Maybe they found something new there. Will be interesting to find out if it turns out to be the location thanks Operator for mentioning it. If it just popped into your mind it very well might be the location.

For what it's worth: I don't usually get these intuitions, but when I saw the original message from Courtney Brown, I asked myself which country was the politically unstable one, and I immediately got the answer Ukraine.

Anyway, at least they are not making the announcement during a Mercury retrograde period. Let's wait and see. In the meantime, life is not on hold...

However you express it, Toba is where it is, north-west of Singapore! And that is where a huge volcanic lake formed dated to 70,000 years ago. And this is what gave rise to the genetic bottleneck theory worked out without the help of the Farsight Institute.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toba_catastrophe_theory

So to say they got the location of the catastrophe slightly wrong – and not very slightly at all as it turns out – is not a very good way of explaining what is going on here. I am not trying to debunk Courtney Brown, but to me not enough work has been done in this area. The only way, maybe, to include this data within his theory would be to say that the misguided attempt to tap heat from the earth’s core also caused the volcano to erupt. Maybe this is one of the things that gave people the ‘five-day warning’.

This reminds me of how much fun we had dealing with advanced energy inventors who would perpetually tell us they were only weeks away from demoing a working unit. The legit ones were suppressed/harassed/interfered with into submission...the Courtney "announcement" falls into one of these categories.

To me its not whether Courtney Brown's ((BREAKING NEWS)) is...

Quote Real - Fake - A Lie - A Guess, whatever it may well be...
Its the way Courtney Brown has gone about it...

Here mousey-mousey-mousey, here's another little -tidbit- to keep you interested...

PS - Its the same way Large Corporations Spruke for business, or like an MSM TV Series who make you wait another week to watch the next gripping episode, or a Radio Talk Show wanting you to wait every day for that Secret-Clue...

I don't really care what Courtney Brown's "SECRET" is...

No, I'll remember Courtney Brown for behaving like a Corporation in order to achieve (Maximum Impact)...

Now some may say I'm being a little harsh on poor old Courtney and I can understand that...

I know its tough to make $Money or Establish a Fan-Base for the majority of these folks on the internet...

I don't think Brown is being kept from posting his announcement by nefarious unknown forces especially when he pumps out stuff like the one about Jesus never dying on the cross and that someone else took his place... this according to his RV staff. Of course they can come out and say anything because there's no way to prove, one way or another what they say is true or not and they are expecting their audience to just accept what they say about things and then leave it at that. If there was data available on his RV staff about their "hit" rates on things that can be proven to be accurate after the session is over then at least that would be something rather than nothing. Then we would know if they're good at RVing. Simple exercises, for example, like having them RV a designated location somewhere where the monitor knows everything about that location to be able to assess if an RVer was able to draw out or describe what's there at that location.... like a bridge, for example. But we're not seeing any such data about the RVers at the Farsight Institute. I think having such information available to the public is important.

(In all fairness though, I still have to closely examine their success rate wrt those past experiments they have conducted there. I assume that they must have been very successful or else The Farsight Institute would have closed ages ago.)

But believe it or not, having said this, I like Courtney Brown and I'm still a big fan of his. He's introduced Remote Viewing to a whole new generation by putting an interesting and exciting spin on those possibilities that exist using that application. He's gone where no RVer has gone before and by doing that, he has sparked our imagination on what could possibly exist at those places we don't have have access to or events where there's no way we will ever know about what really happened, like if someone else other than Jesus, died on the cross in his place.

There is a weird 'wave' in RV going on ...
At first there was a drive to prove that RV was real and that it works. It was Courtney who wanted to stress that it
needed a scientific approach and that if a result cannot be verified by facts the experiment is not scientific.
And yet he came with the "Jesus crucifixion ruse" which indeed cannot be verified. The objections from within the
Farsight institute to publish it in their name is therefor I think justified.

Now this is the perfect crack in the wall to dismantle the Institute and nullify the achievements so far.
I've stated it many times but the way to control opposition is to let it first develop in a successful way and make
sure it is trusted by the public. Then you infiltrate and take over. There are 2 possible outcomes, both effective:

    1. The gullible audience keep swallowing the nonsense that now covertly gets inserted
    2. The audience that loses faith walks away and ignores the whole situation altogether

I think there's a potential danger here that Courtney loses all credibility if he can't finish what he started.
On the other hand if he is able to finish it ... how much of it can be trusted as truth or will it become a new
'new age' style belief launched in sneaky way?

To me its not whether Courtney Brown's ((BREAKING NEWS)) is...

But IMHO there's no need to follow a (Corporate Marketing '101' Mantra)...

In my view, and this is only how I am but at the end of the day, if the announcement turns out to be too equivocal yet is interpreted by Brown as conclusive when it is in fact not, that's what I'm going to remember and not the process he employed prior to releasing his announcement.

That's just me though. I focus on the meat of the final results and not the process. That he extended the announcement date will be something that I will have long forgotten if his announcement turns out to be compelling in some way.

But if the announcement is anything less than that, then I'll be also remembering that he stretched out the announcement date like taffy and that in retrospect that turned out to be an indication that it was going to be anti-climatic in some way. But once again, the thing I'll be remembering most is that the announcement turned out to be a dud.

Excellent observations Operator and it sounds like you know a lot more about Farsight than I do. Thanks for sharing that information and I sincerely hope that all will be well for Brown after he makes his announcement. I think The Farsight Institute is an important one and I would hate to see all of Brown's work and his credibility destroyed by releasing questionable information that causes his fan-base to dwindle.
