Im afraid the larger public will not be interested.
People are so used to dramatic films--headlines etc that some have difficulty in telling what's real from virtual reality.
Its like "Ok I got that---what's next for my drama input?"
There is so much going on that we have almost become immune, unless directly affected, now, at this moment--in our face.
So the announcement will have to be of enormous impact to register-or influence for more than a short period.

I can see that there are still many people who are thinking that these Implications Postings are a tease. Friends, if you are able, you might want to give me the benefit of the doubt. There will be an announcement, and it will be huge. Some will laugh at it. Others will marvel. But in time, many will agree that the day of the announcement will mark the end of one era and the beginning of another. This certainly makes sense. When something is simply too huge to be digested, pre-digestion can help.

Well I am not - nor is anyone else - in a position to say what is good or bad info for people. Trust your inner voice is all I can say. I personally find both Mr. Brown and COBRA good tool for speculation and imagination. Nothing more OR less.

Pay close attention to the sales pitch guys and girls because you will be next to (s)/(t)ell the story

Let's hope it is something serious because I don't like 'selling' anything, only tell it like it is.

I've been listening to interviews with Kevin Annett and what itccs.org is doing. It looks like they are
making serious progress. If this gains serious traction a whole lot of card-houses will come crumbling
down (Vatican, pedophilia, banking scams, admiralty law, international character of crimes etc.).
New developments are to be expected in this arena, so yet another candidate for significant
announcements in a category where not everyone may understand the impact immediately.

After that point I am less bothered by a lot of things about his announcement, less likely to distracted by objections to him
that arise in this thread.
His treatment of the nature of this planet, the cyclic cataclysms etc, I find to be rather good overall.
I still have a problem with the use of the name Atlantis, but he addresses that as well.
I highly recommend watching this entire interview before commenting further in this thread.

Having gotten the above post off my chest, I can now put together some thoughts on a more serious level.

He does address the very rough facts about the physical planet being an impossible place to develop a real human civilization.
Multiple cyclic events happen here that throw us back into barbarism, and bloodshed over and over.
Mankind has not really had a chance yet to outgrow the stage of childhood, and is unlikely to do that on this planet alone.
When I say mankind's childhood I specifically mean being stuck on mastery of the physical universe, and shows of physical force.
The parallel in individual human development is 5-11 years old.
The winning of arguments is very important to children of that age.
An analogy on a global scale of thiswould be the decimation of a rival country with the detonation of a nuke that brings a war to an end.
English translation see! Now shut up! I win!
The catastrophe that he talks about that brought a highly advanced civilization to an end roughly 70,000 years ago, seems to be more a case of runaway scientific experimentation than it does war, but it is still developmentally the same type of behavior.

Another important point that was made is the secrecy around scientific endeavor.
The world at large is very likely to say no to things that are as risky as what is described in this remote viewing study.
And he ties that in to the clean apparent secrecy around Fukushima, the clean up, and likely consequences of not shutting down the operations in that area before there are more physical, disasters on this planet, and astronomical ones in our vicinity which will set off
more physical disasters here, and cause more contamination with radioactive materials at at least the Fukushima sites.
I know this was mentioned earlier but I think it might help bring things back to topic if these points are restated.
