    The Vessels Proof

One of Sakkara’s 30.000 stone vessels at the Cairo Museum.

Beneath the earth, below the base of the Sakkara Step Pyramid, Imhotep his builder and designer quarried out almost three miles of stone and built a series of corridors and inner chambers.
He decorated some of the chambers with blue enamel tiles, as far we know the first ever made by man; a proof of his advanced knowledge of alchemy.

In addition to all this, some thirty thousand stone vessels of the utmost perfection were found in these subterranean chambers. There are unique and enigmatic hard stone vessels, made of slate, diorite and basalt. Some of these materials are harder than iron. No sculptor today would even attempt to work with such material.

One wonders how could they have been carved? Their design is extremely beautiful and impossible to carve. No tool marks are found on their surfaces. They must have been cast in molds, in accordance with the indications suggested by the Irtysen Stele at the Louvre gallery. See also more details on the Fresco of Ti (Vth Dynasty) in Davidovits’ recent book in English (2008) They built the Pyramids.
    The Le Chatelier Proof

    Henri Le Chatelier.

The first man to posit a reasonable solution to how the Egyptians made their stone statues, was Henri Le Chatelier, a chemist, ceramist and metallurgist, born in France in 1850.
In the early twentieth century, he noticed that the famous statue of Pharaoh Khafra (or Khefren) revealed no sign of tool marks. Yet it had been made of diorite, the hardest type of stone, at a time when artisans possessed only simple stone or copper chisels. He concluded that with tools like these it would have been impossible to produce such a masterpiece.

    Diorite statue of Pharaoh Khefren.

Le Chatelier suspected that it had not been carved at all, but made of agglomerated stone cast in molds, so he began to examine other statues. He looked at ones that were apparently enameled, and cut thin sections of them with a diamond-tipped saw, and found that the enamel was not an applied coating but part of the material from which the statue was made. He asserted that they were cast in some kind of synthetic material not sculpted in natural stone.

Default Re: What Happened to Egypt’s Pharaohs?

Certain grey areas remain in the history of this Egypt that fascinates us so much. How did this civilization begin? Why does the papyrus of Manetho, which provides the chronology of the pharaohs, so upset official Egyptology? Antoine Gigal gives a progress report on recent discoveries.

The pre-pharaonic past of Egypt remains a very great enigma because the question remains as to what exactly occurred during the mysterious period prior to 3000 BC, date of the appearance of the first official pharaoh known as Menes-Narmer. At that time, in a few decades, without any warning, there suddenly appeared in a surprisingly perfect form, writing, perfect pyramids, erudite astronomy, technical skills and knowledge - everything that goes with a very sophisticated civilization. And it all seems to have arrived very quickly.

As the English Egyptologist Toby Wilkinson put it so well: "They seem to have no ancestors or periods of development, they seem to have appeared overnight." The French authority Gaston Maspero (1846-1916) comments about the Egyptian texts: "The religion and the texts which made it known to us were already established before the first dynasty. In order to understand them it is up to us to put ourselves in the frame of mind of the people who constructed them, more than seven thousand years ago." (Revue de l'Histoire des Religions, vol. XIX, p.12). Yes, that's what it says: "before the first dynasty"!

    AN INCREDIBLE DIVINE LEGACY

The ancient Egyptians viewed their civilization as a legacy coming directly from divine beings who existed in Egypt thousands of years before the pharaonic dynasties that we know about. The papyrus of Turin (or more exactly the royal canon displayed at the museum of Egyptology of Turin), written in hieroglyphics and dating back to Ramses II, presents a list of all the pharaohs who reigned in the land of Egypt.
This list includes not only the historical pharaohs, but also the "divine pharaohs who came from elsewhere" who reigned before the first dynasty of Menes. We are also told that this preceding lineage reigned for 13,420 years!

It's hard to overlook this, yet a kind of consensual omerta reigns on this subject in official circles, which prefer to regard this lineage as mythical, thus making the subject easier to evade.
Actually 160 fragments of this document were taken to Turin by the Italian Drovetti, French Consul in Egypt in 1822, though strangely enough certain fragments representing the whole beginning of the list are missing. In his day the brilliant Champollion was aware of the true importance of this document in establishing accurate dating.

Fortunately the Palermo stele also cites these so-called "mythical" pre-dynastic kings going back thousands of years. It refers to Horus himself as having reigned over the land of Egypt. According to Manetho, Thoth reigned approximately from 8670 to 7100 BC, "after the night of the battle". Hesiod, the renowned historian and moralist living at the time of Homer (8thC BC), obtained most of the information he recorded in his Theogamy, a genealogy of the dynasties known as celestial that reigned on Earth, from the Egyptian high priests.

The Egyptian High Priest Manetho (Ma-n-Thoth) from Sebennytos in the Delta, Master of the Secrets (3rdC BC), who had access to the library of Alexandria and who wrote for the pharaoh a history of Egypt in Greek in 30 volumes, the Aegiptiaca, also cited these pre-dynastic dynasties of divine origin.

What is curious but significant is that today's Egyptologists still use Manetho's dating, which is considered perfectly reliable for everything related to the "officially" recognized dynasties; but they carefully avoid anything that relates to the prehistoric dynasties, while still regarding him as the "Father" of Egyptology! Strange intellectual acrobatics in order to remain "politically correct"! Mainstream Egyptology avoids talking much about Manetho, because they find some of the details he gives extremely disturbing.

Manetho wrote for example that according to the stelae coming from the gods of the first (real) dynasty, more than 20,000 works were attributed to Thoth (Tehuti, Hermes). He also reported that these same gods reigned from 33,894 to 23,642 BC. It must be said that this is more than a little disturbing, coming from one whose work is the basis for the entire official chronology of the dynasties recognized as authentic. How handy it is to take some of the facts provided and ignore others that don't fit into our mindset … However Champollion, who had read many original texts, endowed as he was with a sense of flair and extraordinary genius, recognized the existence of at least 42 of these books of Thoth: "There are altogether 42 principal books of Hermes [Thoth] including 36 presenting the whole of Egyptian philosophy, which are studied by the priests of the upper classes." (L'Egypte Ancienne, Paris)

Manetho gives us very interesting details on the dynasties called "divine", which he divides into three categories: Gods, Heroes, and "Manes". He also explains that the category of the Gods was divided into seven sections, each having a god at its head, including Horus, Anubis, Thoth, Ptah, Osiris and Ra, and that "these gods who originated from Earth then became celestial and associated with the stars as they reached heaven". (It does indeed say "originating from Earth" - and there is undoubtedly much to be discovered in the subterranean realms of our planet.) Next are the Heroes, beings with supernatural terrestrial powers, and finally the "Manes" (also called "Khus"), glorious beings corresponding to the spirits of ancestors revered in other cultures. Osiris himself says, in The Book of Coming Out by Day: "The tunnels of the Earth gave me birth." And according to Plutarch, who wrote a very erudite work on the cult of Isis and Osiris, "Ra departed to the heavens and Osiris became pharaoh of Egypt with Isis and they built Thebes [the present Luxor]". Finally there are many pre-dynastic genealogies cited by many serious scholars of the early years of our era, like that of Eusebius, bishop of Caesarea in Palestine, and that of the most important Byzantine chronicler, Syncellus, residing also in Palestine.

All these sources speak to us about a lineage of gods who reigned each one for several hundreds of years, for a total of 23,200 years, then of a list of "Shemsu Hor", called "Followers of Horus", who reigned for 13,400 years. Then come the names of the "normal" Pharaohs whom we know. The fact that divine and semi-divine sovereigns could each have reigned hundred of years is unacceptable in our view of things, but we should ask ourselves why we accept without flinching the hundreds of years of life of the people and prophets of the Bible, such as Enoch who lived over 360 years. Many factors explaining a much slower aging process can be understood today through science: different terrestrial gravity, lower density, or better protected or different DNA, or other ways of measuring time. There are many theories that could justify such life spans.

It was during the period of the strange Shemsu Hor (from 4000 BC) - these "companions of Horus" described wearing masks of falcon or wolf, whom we imagine to be the initiators of the Pharaonic dynasties (though as we shall see they were not really so) - that there suddenly appeared an unequalled degree of sophistication and a remarkable civilization in its entire splendour.

It was the researcher and philosopher Schwaller de Lubicz (1887-1961) who, to my knowledge, generally "imposed" the translation of "Shemsu Hor" as "Followers of Horus", which has been taken up by thousands of others since. He thus understood that very advanced people arrived in Egypt at prehistoric times and suddenly brought all the knowledge. Following this widely held belief many authors, including the prolific Zecharia Sitchin (thinking that it referred to the Annunaki who had arrived first in Sumer), thought and wrote that this advance was due to the sudden arrival of beings from elsewhere, some kind of extraterrestrials. However, it is not only wrong and far more complicated than that, but it is even more extraordinary.

They died a very long time ago, if they have reincarnated on Earth, they could be Queen Elizabeth, Saddam Hussain, a homeless person, myself or you. If they have reincarnated on another planet then difficult to see, it is. But they could reptilians, greys or the more benevolent Nordics.
According to Freeman, King Tut's Dad, Amenhotep(?) and family have been cloned and are alive and well in the White House! The purpose of mummification, he says, was to preserve DNA for later cloning.

    Unimaginably Long Reigns

All these sources speak to us about a lineage of gods who reigned each one for several hundreds of years, for a total of 23,200 years, then of a list of "Shemsu Hor", called "Followers of Horus", who reigned for 13,400 years. Horus in human form imparts life to the Pharaoh. Horus watching over the resting Pharaoh, temple of Seti, Abydos.
Proven Physical Remains: the Anu People

Let us focus initially on the work of the French Egyptologist Emile Amélineau (1850-1915), who devoted himself to the first dynasties and who excavated, for the first time, the tombs of the pharaohs of the first (official) dynasty. In his excavations in the south of Egypt he discovered evidence of the existence of already advanced people earlier than the Pharaohs of the first dynasty. He discovered in particular the people of black race, the Anu (sometimes called "Aunu"). (Nothing to do with the Annunaki, although it sounds like a similar word.)

They raised livestock and practised extensive agriculture all along the Nile and protected themselves inside the defensive walls of cities. They founded the towns of Esna (Anu Tseni), Erment (Anu Menti), Qush, Gebelein (Anti) and even Heliopolis (which was originally named "Anu"). These cities include in their written names the characteristic symbol designating the Anu people, the three columns. And according to many researchers (Chandler, etc), the greatest figures of ancient Egypt, such as Osiris, Isis, Hermes and Horus came from this ancient Anu race. May I remind you that according to the ancient texts, Osiris, for example, is known as "Son of Geb and Nut, born in Thebes in Upper Egypt", which gives him a reality in historical life; the texts even say that he taught the arts of agriculture and established the rule of law. (For my part, I do not totally agree with the thesis that these beings originated only among the Anu.)

The noble Tera-Neter of the Anu, from William Flinders Petrie, The Making of Egypt, 1939.

In any case the Anu knew the use of metals and ivory, they were very organized and knew how to write. This was proven by many artefacts found by Amélineau in the region of Abydos and described in his Nouvelles Fouilles d'Abydos. The archaeologist pointed out: "If Osiris was of Nubian origin, although born in Thebes, then it would be easy to understand why the fight between Osiris and Seth took place in Nubia." (Prolégomènes, pp.124-5). Let us not forget that according to certain researchers, Anu is a term applied to Osiris himself. Amélineau comments that it was "in an ethnic sense that we must read the term Anu applied to Osiris." He also quotes a passage from Chapter 15 of The Book of the Dead (of which the real title is The Book of Coming Out into the Light): "O Thou God Anu in the mountainous land of Antem! O Great God of the double solar mountain!" It was the name of Osiris in his role as fourth Pharaoh on Earth which the Greeks translated by Onnuphris, that is to say, "the Good".

We have an extraordinary object from pre-dynastic Anu found by the great English Egyptologist William Flinders Petrie (1853-1942) in Abydos. It is a glazed and inscribed earthenware tile, unearthed from below the dynastic temple. The inscription bears the portrait of the Anu ruler, Tera-neter. There is even his address at the top: "Palace of the Anu at Ermant, Tera-neter."
    Existence of Several Groups
But the Anu are only one contribution to Egyptian civilization. There are others, as is being revealed more and more with the latest archaeological discoveries in the south of Egypt. We should include also the Mesnitu (whom certain researchers identify with the Shemsu Hor) who came from Punt, more precisely from Somalia. Their land was called Ta Neteru ('the land of the gods'). They were mostly metal workers and blacksmiths and ended up eventually dominating the Anu and their Nubian land Ta Seti ('the land of the bond' or 'the land of the prow' according to translation) of Sudan. Gradually the two lands were assimilated into one, Ta Khent ('land of the beginning'). The physical difference between the Anu and the Mesnitu is noted in their jaws: those of the Anu are rounder and short whereas those of the Mesnitu are square like that of Narmer-Menes. But there are also sub-groups within these two groups, such as the Beja (among the Mesnitu) and the Rekhytu people in north (who arrived in the valley of the Nile by Coptos) and groups supporting or mixing with the Anu coming from Sinai and Libya.
    Early Egyptian peoples.
The history is complex because there are yet more groups of various origins: the Aamu of Asian style but dressed like Egyptians and living in the mountains of Egypt; the Nehesy, living beyond present-day Sudan, the Temehu of the Western Desert, Libya and the northern coasts of Egypt. All these people were not just simple aboriginal hunters as some think. They had great knowledge and organization; but then where did their knowledge come from in such remote times?
    RECENT EXCAVATIONS

Let us examine first the tangible evidence. Human fragments accompanied by signs of civilization, the oldest that archaeology has uncovered in Egypt (though in the coming months we may find things much older still), have been found 250km south of Aswan at Qadan, in ritual burials officially dated to 13,000-9000 BC. It is an undoubted fact that these people were not just simple aborigines; they had tools and knowledge of agriculture and complex rituals. Though this is not yet the high sophistication that we are looking for, we can see that they were much older than the Sumerians and even the Ubaid before them. It is high time that people realized that civilization on Earth probably did not begin in Sumer (an assertion imposed in the 19th century in the biblical context); the story is much more complex than that, as indicated by new evidence coming to light on all sides.

I cannot resist announcing the discovery on 7 May 2009 by a Belgian team, in a mountain cave close to Denderah in southern Egypt, of a skeleton probably dated between 30,000 and 33,000 years ago. And that's not all: the skull was turned towards the east, and several pots were found around the remains, proof of a certain level of culture.
A Mysterious People with Enlarged Skulls

But let us return to the research concerning the group of people with sophisticated knowledge who were apparently much more advanced than others in the arts of civilisation, and who disappeared from Egypt in about 4000 BC.

Professor Walter B. Emery (1903-1971), an excellent archaeologist with 45 years of experience excavating in Egypt and author of the book Archaic Egypt, found in certain tombs the remains of people who lived in pre-dynastic times in the north of Upper Egypt. The features of these bodies and skeletons are incredible. The skulls are of abnormal size and are dolichocephalic, i.e. the cranium as seen from above is oval, and is about 25% longer than it is wide. Some skulls show no sign of the usual sutures. The skeletons are larger than the average for the area and especially the skeletal frame is broader and heavier. He did not hesitate to identify them with the "Followers of Horus" and found that in their lifetime they filled an important priestly role. With regard to the long-headed skulls, it seems that it is not a prehistoric lineage of evolution but rather a lineage coming from a cycle of civilization from before the Flood.

These enlarged skulls have already been found in several regions of the world. Dr. J. Von Tschudi and Mariane E. Rivero in Peru have indentified three pre-Inca dolichocephalic races, the Chinchas, Aymaras and Huancas. They also found that if the Chinchas had a lengthened skull it was because they bandaged the skulls of their children in order to resemble the two other groups, who did not bandage their skulls. They managed to work out that the original group with the most marked natural characteristics were the Chinchas. They preceded the first Inca, Manco Capac, and probably influenced both the Incas and the Maya in later times. Researchers A.H. Verrill and Posnansky point out that the oldest pre-Inca city in Peru, Tiahuanaco, dates from the same time as pre-dynastic Egypt, and enlarged skulls of this period can be seen in Tihuanaco Museum.

It is therefore asserted that there once existed an antediluvian race that has been found here and there all over the world, a race that had a naturally elongated conical skull, as affirmed by some researchers, among them Dr Tschudi, who possesses a fossil from that time of a 7-month-old foetus with a dolichocephalic skull still in the womb of its mother.

Dolichocephalic skull. Dolichocephalic skull in the Regional Museum in Ankash Huaraz, Peru.

All this is far from being "politically correct" because these facts call into question genetics, the history of evolution and beliefs based on the Bible. It is thus only very slowly that people absorb these new but fascinating facts. To cite one example, dolichocephalic skulls have been withdrawn from public view in the museum of Valetta in Malta, undoubtedly to avoid offending the religious sensitivities of some people. Indeed, about 700 of these skulls were found in Malta in the hypogea of Hal Saflieni and the tombs of the megalithic temples of Taxien and Ggantja. It was Dr Anton Mifsud and Dr Charles Savona Ventura who analyzed the skulls and came to the same conclusion as in Peru, identifying three different groups, some of completely "natural" origin, and others that had been bandaged.

This is another even closer link with Egypt. The former name of Malta is Melita, from the Latin mel, 'honey'. The symbol of Malta is a bee with its hexagonal honeycomb. Let us not forget that the symbol of the pharaoh in Egypt is also the bee ('bit') which gives him one of his titles. Honey was reserved for the Pharaoh and the chief priests, and Mel (or Mer) was one of the names given to the pyramids in Egypt. In addition, sun worship prevailed in Malta as in Egypt, and the dolichocephalic caste disappeared at the same time in both countries. In my own research, I've found that there was very probably a migration of these long-headed people from Egypt to Malta, and traces of them are found in Cretan civilization. Be that as it may, this race that seems to have been devoted to the priesthood and teaching, and that kept itself more or less separate, had one point in common everywhere: the building of megalithic monuments. It formed a dominant priestly caste wherever it was. Could these people really be the descendants of an antediluvian race? Perhaps. But are they the famous Shemsu Hor? It's not certain.

The Shemsu Hor according to the Egyptian Oral Tradition

Today, what says the oral tradition, still alive among certain Egyptians who have been initiated from generation to generation? It says that the term "Shemsu Hor" has been very poorly translated. The meaning "Followers of Horus" is not convincing. For them, the word is initially "Sheshu Hor" and indicates in very early Egyptian, "the evolved principle of man". The phrase "Zep Tepi" that Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock have translated as the "First Time" is for them, and for the British Egyptologist E.A. Raymond, to be translated as "when the gods manifested as humans". The exact sentence found on the walls of the temple of Edfu is: "Ntr ntri hpr m sp tpy", that is to say, "the sanctified god who came to be born at the first time". The keepers of the oral tradition say that these words refer to a time when the divine appeared among humans to raise their consciousness. They say that the humans of that time in Egypt, the Shesh people (whence 'Sheshu Hor'), organized into 42 tribes (which gave later the 42 nomes or regions), were beginning to lose their subtle senses. Indeed, if we now have our five senses today, according to the wisdom keepers at that time we had 365! We have really lost so many of them! The divine beings manifested more and more at that time to try to halt the degradation and the loss of senses among the Shesh, and to try to preserve the communion with the 360 Neters or "the 360 principles of divine creation" (wrongly translated as "gods", as they say). Thus there were in the beginning the Shesh people, consisting of 42 tribes (including the Anu) of various origins, having united and having had prestigious ancestors like Anubis, Osiris, etc., and also a mysterious dolichocephalic race of which we know almost nothing.

One thing is certain: Egypt was an incredible melting pot of mixed races and it will be necessary to make a further serious study of the origins of these people. It is already known from all the documents of ancient Egypt that "the Egyptian people came from the land of Punt". Researchers today are struggling to give this place an exact geographical location, placing it in turn in Ethiopia, in Sudan or elsewhere. To my mind the richest and most convincing thesis is that of the Director of Research at the François Daumas Institute of Egyptology, Dimitri Meeks, who places Punt in Arabia. This is the only fully convincing theory in the light of the texts, and as soon as we can conduct research over there I am sure we will learn much more about the early Egyptians. But the researchers will have to become more open to a new paradigm, that of a very advanced civilization existing long before the last Flood.

Piezoelectric Basins for Acoustic Levitation Identified at Megalithic Sites

Focusing the Heartbeat of the Sun

    by Alex Putney for HumanResonance.org
    August 27, 2011

The many astoundingly beautiful monuments of the Giza plateau, along the Nile River in Egypt, display a remarkably precise set of engineering specifications and psychoacoustic effects that indicate an ancient biorhythmic synchronization network once operated on a global scale. Preceding the Dynasties of the Pharaohs by several thousand years, this global pyramid culture was a technologically advanced Sanskrit world nation that employed these giant crystalline structures to synchronize the pineal, hypothalamus and pituitary glands with the human heartbeat at temples and sacred sites worldwide.

The striped, hooded headdress of the Great Sphinx references the hooded Kundalini cobra, an animal which is also seen extending from the third-eye, or ajna chakra of the female figure. These are unmistakable Sanskrit symbols and biorhythmic synchronization technologies that were later preserved in the monumental psychoacoustic architecture, hieroglyphic writing and cosmology of the Sumerian, Egyptian and Mayan civilizations. Bioelectrical stimulation of cellular metabolism enabled in the pyramid structures provided for the purification and rejuvenation of the body using a special, lighter form of water.

An outspoken local wisdon-keeper of the Giza plateau, Egyptologist and tour-guide Abd'el Hakim Awyan has brought ancient knowledge to bear on the profound implications of these astounding ancient constructions. Hakim's provocative commentary on the misconceptions of modern academics concerning the ancient stone structures of the Nile region was broadcast in The Pyramid Code, a documentary produced by Dr. Carmen Boulter, Professor at the University of Calgary:

In this carefully researched documentary, Hakim reveals several insights, including the advanced nature of the psychoacoustic and biorhythmic effects of these ancient Sanskrit monuments that have been falsely attributed to the 'Egyptian' civilization:

In 1936, 1937, the Sphinx was covered up to the neck in sand; [this] was my playground - there were tunnels I used to walk, [and even] crawl in sometimes because it's narrow. At Abu Ghurab we have a crystal altar, a round disc in the middle of four [radial lines] - a symbol of 'hotep' - and the word 'hotep' means peace and food. This round disc is a lid on a shaft, about 180 feet deep to the level of the ocean and there is still running water in there and you can feel it while you are in the area.

These [giant concave quartz] instruments, were not found in a line like you see today, nine of them were found around the area, and there are still more to be found. And then we have the oldest obelisk created in Egypt. Next to that altar - what's left of... the... hieroglyph writing, that is Sufi writing, at the obelisk... [depicting] the disc of the Sun, and words saying the Heart of the Sun: 'i-bra'...

Limestone basins were also collected near the northwest corner of the remains of the giant obelisk at Abu Ghurab, each bearing identical forms and carefully rendered circular concavities (below). A view of the squared blocks from above reflects the ancient Sanskrit mandala of a circle within a square, while the strict adherence to geometry and identical forms of the many basins belies a complex mechanical purpose that has not yet been identified by modern Egyptologists or any independent researchers.

These many stone basins have remained a mystery for generations of modern Egyptologists, who claim the basins were used in the blood collection of ritual sacrifices. While no trace residues of blood have been found on any of the stone basins, this hypothesis is further complicated by the fact that the three holes are located near the upper rim of the basin, not at the bottom. This feature indicates that the holes were not designed to let out blood from animals placed in the huge basins, but were actually used to fill the basins with water. But if the basins are filled without a drain outlet, where does the water go?

The huge quartz basins were designed with one borehole centered on each of the four sides of the square bases of the instruments, while the comparable limestone examples display three machine-drilled holes on just one side of the square blocks. As well, the diameters of the bowls appear to be uniform, suggesting they were part of a large array that once surrounded the pyramids before being collected in groups by Egyptian authorities for present-day public display.

The identical dimensions and curvature of the many stone basins, with perfectly rendered geometric forms, gives the appearance of having been serially manufactured through mold-making processes rather than being quarried and carved in a solid state. Abundant evidence of this fact has been ignored for close to 30 years by much of the academic community, despite publication in scientific journals. The geopolymer research of Dr. Jacob Davidovits documents the lower density of the limestone blocks of the Great Pyramid, showing them to have been synthetically cast using a concrete-like slurry composed quite differently than all naturally sedimented limestone. The pyramid's massive limestone blocks contain an exotic admixture of opal CT, hydroxy-apatite and silico-aluminates that enhance the limestone's natural capacity to convert all atmospheric acoustic energy into an electrical current within the crystals, inducing a strong electromagnetic field around the pyramid structures and within their passages and chambers.

Both the low density and exotic mineral composition of the limestone basins may reveal their synthetic nature, while the quartz basins bear drill marks that suggest they were quarried stones. The modular nature of the blocks suggests they were distributed around the pyramids as part of the original walled enclosure that once surrounded each of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau.

The specific and exclusive use of piezoelectric calcite and quartz crystals for the construction of the pyramids themselves, and the large basins that once surrounded them in great numbers, relates to their transducive capacity to focus and amplify acoustic waves. Mechanical flexing occurs in the quartz and calcite crystals as a uniform structural deformation that generates standing waves within the stones' crystalline lattice, eventually building a strong electromagnetic field that allows acoustic levitation.

The high-walled enclosure, resembling a courtyard, contained energetic waters identified by the local indigenous wisdom traditions as Lake Hathor. The lake waters were absorbed by the porous limestone of the pyramids, and provided direct electrical connection to the subterranean water table and thereby to the world's oceans. The pyramid texts of Saqqara describe this absorption of water within the stones in exact terms, stating that the pyramids' "foundations are the stones, the water..." The hieroglyphic inscription on the obelisk at Abu Ghurab reads "Heart of the Sun" in reference to the pyramid network's piezoelectric transduction of the infrasound resonance of the sun, at the 1.45 Hz frequency of the human heart at rest. Were the pyramids responsible for the regulation of global heartbeat patterns and weather patterns?

Infrasonic stimulation of solar flare activity has been correlated to river flow and precipitation rates. Could it be that the pyramids were designed to increase atmospheric evaporation by heartbeat resonance? The high-resonance form of hydrogen is called protium, being the lightest hydrogen isotope, known for its powerful rejuvenative effects, in stark contrast to the cellular aging induced by heavy water. The levitation of water by solar-driven infrasound resonance allows separation of lighter protium water molecules from the heavier isotopes of deuterium and tritium (above).

Acoustic engineers have developed small, concave piezoelectric transducers enabling the generation of standing waves for acoustic levitation. Both water and small living organisms (like the beetle, above) have been levitated using ultrasound, while the ancients used giant low-frequency transducers. During the conquest of the Americas, historian Garcilaso de la Vega documented the destruction of giant granite bowls at Inca sites in the Andes having diameters that exceeded the height of two men. Concave granite basins were also found in the passage chambers of Knowth, Dowth and Newgrange, in Ireland. Just as in the case of the pyramid chambers, the world's megalithic chambers also produced lightwater vapor.

Both the piezoelectric properties and the perfectly formed concavities of the large, ancient stone basins confirm their utility as precision instruments for acoustic levitation, and their cultural context informs us that water was being levitated. This conclusion is also directly supported by the cosmology of the ancient stepped-pyramid-building cultures of the Maya and Aztec, who speak very clearly in the Pyramid of Fire Codex about the separation of terrestrial and celestial waters - referring to the resonant solar infrasound separation of pure protium from the low-resonance isotopes of deuterium and tritium:

Chalchiuhtlicue, Goddess of Terrestrial Waters, of that which flows, runs, surges, forward and down...
Chalchiuhtlicue fills the gourd of pulque so that man may forget...
Tláloc, God of Celestial Water... god of the mist that ascends from the valleys at dawn...
Tláloc is the return of vapor that strains to rise, is the return of time that strains to remember.
Longevity and cellular rejuvenation were imbued by drinking lightwater in the resonant infrasound environment of the pyramid chambers. The base length of the Aztec pyramid of Teotihuacan closely matches the 765' base length of the Great Pyramid, for transducing infrasound standing waves at the heartbeat frequency. Hakim Awyan identifies the resonant functions of the Nile pyramids as acoustic diagnosis and healing, according to local wisdom:

At Saqqara... is the famous 'Step Pyramid' of Djoser... a King of the 3rd Dynasty, roughly 2,900 BC say the books. The step pyramid is located in a big courtyard, much, much older than pyramid itself. You can compare it for yourself - if you look at the pyramid and look at the wall (of the courtyard) you can see the difference...
I will take you now to the 'hospital', [acoustically designed for] healing with sound... That line of construction, [where] you see like three chambers - it's what's left of the House of Spirit, and it's a healing system with sound. It's a medical investigation table and the patient has the right to use either side of the stairs, one on the right and one on the left, so he or she has to follow his or her own 'antenna' to climb up there and choose the point where she [should] stand, because each point is connected to a [diagnostic-]check chamber. We have 22 of the chambers, 11 each side --no ceiling-- and when you go inside you see a niche where the physician put his head in the niche to see what's the matter with his patient laying on this table; and that works with sound, and the sound source is running water in a tunnel underneath here. There is a big map of [networked] tunnels running underneath here...

[Academics have claimed] these constructions... at Dashur, [to be tombs] related to a King called Seneferu... Now, when you come to the word 'seneferu' - sen means 'double', nefer is 'harmony', so it means 'double harmony'. It's not the name of a person - but it's the energy we get from these constructions! The Bent Pyramid has two different chambers for [producing] two different sounds."

Awyan's training and intuitive understanding of the acoustic healing techniques practiced in the pyramids is explicitly tied to the concept of bi-frequency resonance within the range of the human voice, enabling the synchronization of the hemispheres of the brain. Known as binaural beating, this effect underlies the ancient Sanskrit kundalini tradition that originated in the antediluvian mother-culture of Atlantis, preserved throughout Egyptian art. Kundalini cobras adorn the House of Spirit at Saqqara (above), suggesting the more ancient Sanskrit Atlantean origin of the megalithic enclosure and the later construction of the Step Pyramid inside it, as understood and passed down by indigenous Elders.

The dimensions of the diagnostic chambers of the House of Spirit are calibrated to resonate at two offset frequencies within the range of the baritone voice that generate a difference tone, or beat frequency, at the 1.45 Hz human heartbeat rhythm. Biorhythmic resonance was thereby established and maintained between the ancient Vedic healer and the patient. Healers would place their heads into the small niches opposite the diagnostic platforms, placed at nodal points within the architecture, enabling the healer to remotely perceive the doshic imbalances of the patient.

These open-air, high-walled piezoelectric structures were used for healing practices in combination with other chambers below the House of Spirit itself, as well as in the interior chambers of the pyramids and at distant megalithic monuments in alignment with the octagonal axes of the Great Pyramid of Giza. This unified resonant Vedic healing system was applied throughout the world's sacred sites, which comprise a vast global network designed to enhance human longevity. The resonant pumping of the fluids through the human body reflected the resonant evaporation of vast amounts of lightwater into the atmosphere.

Lightwater was levitated into the sky from the arrays of large concave stone transducers surrounding the walled enclosures, and from the surface waters of Lake Hathor and the Nile River, to be distributed as a lightwater vapor canopy above the many focal points of infrasound standing waves. Lightwater vapor became ignited as giant luminous HHO plasma plumes that rose in brilliant swirling patterns into the sky above the pyramids, as recorded in the Mayan Tree of Life murals at Teotihuacan. The ultraviolet-A and infrared emissions of the HHO plasma would have caused the white limestone casing of the Great Pyramid to glow a brilliant white, due to the ultraviolet fluorescence of the calcite microcrystals.

Along with high-resonance waters, the bioelectric enhancement of cellular functions allowed extended lifespans for those practicing the sacred barefoot lifestyle within the temple walls. This form of spiritual metabolism based on exposure of the body to weak electrical currents and strong electromagnetic fields is referred to directly by the concept of 'hotep', defined by Dr. Awyan as meaning 'peace and food'. The resonant heartbeat synchronization of the entire globe provides the telepathic link that engenders peaceful human relations, as hearts and minds are coupled into resonance. This peace concept is echoed in the term 'Arc of the Covenant', referring to the global biorhythmic 'agreement' of telepathy.

Deep heartbeat booming emanating from the Giza pyramids resounded loudly at various bands of resonant focal points throughout the world network, based on the quadratic function [ zn+1 = zn2 ]. The distance from Giza to the Irish sacred sites of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth is 10.0% of the Earth's mean circumference distance (of 24,892 miles). Stonehenge, England lies at the 9.0% distance from Giza, while the sacred stone temples of Teotihuacan, Mexico and Machu Picchu, Peru sit exactly along the 30.0% and 30.9% Fibonacci-based resonant distances from Giza. These perfect distance relationships reveal a systematic global alignment.

The Temple of Isis at Philae was designed with very similar psychoacoustic architectural features, including a small granite altar right in front of a small cubical niche inset into the wall. Both of these features are engraved with the sacred cross pattern, variously referred to in the Nile region as the Philae Cross (as well as the Coptic Cross, the Rose Cross, etc...) and corresponds exactly to the spherical Prime Cross rendering that I produced in 2006 (compared above), using the 2D octagonal quantum iterated function of Dr. A. Jadzyck. This spherical resonance formula has also been rendered in crop circle formations.

The Revelation Of The Pyramids takes an in depth look into one of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Pyramids of Egypt. Mystery has surrounded these epic structures for centuries with theories varying from the scientific to the bizarre.

However with over thirty-seven years of in depth research taking in sites from China, Peru, Mexico and Egypt, one scientist has as at last managed first to understand and then to reveal what lies behind this greatest of archaeological mysteries: a message of paramount importance for all mankind, through time and space.

Horizon follows a team of scientists set out to solve the mystery of chunks of ancient glass scattered in a remote part of the Sahara Desert. Their quest takes them on a perilous journey into the Great Sand Sea, the wastes of Siberia and the test site of the world's first atomic bomb in New Mexico. What their search uncovers is a devastating new natural phenomenon.

In 1996 in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Italian mineralogist Vincenzo de Michele spotted an unusual yellow-green gem in the middle of one of Tutankhamun's necklaces.

The jewel was tested and found to be glass, but intriguingly it is older than the earliest Egyptian civilisation.

Working with Egyptian geologist Aly Barakat, they traced its origins to unexplained chunks of glass found scattered in the sand in a remote region of the Sahara Desert.

But the glass is itself a scientific enigma. How did it get to be there and who or what made it?

The BBC Horizon programme has reported an extraordinary new theory linking Tutankhamun's gem with a meteor.

    Sky of fire

An Austrian astrochemist Christian Koeberl had established that the glass had been formed at a temperature so hot that there could be only one known cause: a meteorite impacting with Earth. And yet there were no signs of a suitable impact crater, even in satellite images.

American geophysicist John Wasson is another scientist interested in the origins of the glass. He suggested a solution that came directly from the forests of Siberia.

"When the thought came to me that it required a hot sky, I thought immediately of the Tunguska event," he told Horizon.

In 1908, a massive explosion flattened 80 million trees in Tunguska, Siberia.

Although there was no sign of a meteorite impact, scientists now think an extraterrestrial object of some kind must have exploded above Tunguska. Wasson wondered if a similar aerial burst could have produced enough heat to turn the ground to glass in the Egyptian desert.

CAIRO — A previously unknown pharaoh and his burial place have been unearthed amid the tombs of other Egyptian kings, and archaeologists say the find could lead to still more royal discoveries.

The pharaoh's name, Senebkay, was found inscribed on the wall of a burial chamber that's part of the Abydos archaeological site, near the southern city of Sohag. Fragments of the name appeared on one list of Egyptian kings and queens, but no other trace of Senebkay had been found until now, said Ali Asfar, head of antiquities for the Egyptian government.

"This was the first time in history to discover the king," Asfar told NBC News on Wednesday.

He and other archaeologists say Senebkay lived roughly 3,650 years ago, during the second intermediate period of ancient Egyptian history. That was an era when several rulers vied for power — setting the stage for the rise of Egypt's New Kingdom around 1550 B.C.

    'Lost dynasty'
Senebkay's tomb was found earlier this month by a team of archaeologists led by the University of Pennsylvania's Josef Wegner. They came upon the structure while excavating the adjacent tomb of an earlier pharaoh, King Sobekhotep I.

The newfound tomb contains what appear to be the plundered remains of a royal burial, including the pharaoh's pulled-apart skeleton. Senebkay was apparently 5-foot-10 and died in his mid- to late 40s, archaeologists said.

Wegner told NBC News that the find could point the way to a previously unknown pharaonic dynasty.

"We discovered an unknown king plus a lost dynasty," he said. "It looks likely that all of the 16 kings are all buried there. ... We now have the tomb for first or second king of this dynasty. There should be a whole series of the others.”

    Shades of King Tut
He described his team's entry into the tomb's decorated burial chamber as an experience similar to what archaeologist Howard Carter might have felt when he found Tutankhamen's tomb in 1922.

“It unfolded over a couple of days," Wegner said. "It was a little bit like King Tut, in that we found the entrance first and it led us down to a burial chamber. We reached a painted limestone chamber with cartouches and the titular of a pharaoh. ... In Abydos there is lots of sand, and everything is deeply buried. You can dig day after day, and then this….We were standing there looking dumbfounded at the colorful wall decoration.”

The discovery of a reused burial chest helped him date the discovery.

“Tomb robbers had stripped it, but it still had the prescription of Sobekhotep on the wood," Wegner said. "The fact that they were reusing wood would suggest that it was relatively soon after the earlier tomb of Sobekhotep.”

The reuse of materials from previous reigns and the relatively rustic artistry suggest a lack of stability and wealth, Wegner said. “It suggests that the king had economic challenges, which has to do with the period of struggle and fragmentation of kingdom.”

Wegner believes he will find much more when he returns to excavate in the spring.

"Where there are king’s tombs, there are also queen's tombs, and tombs of high officials of the royal court,” he told NBC News. “The discovery has given an interesting look at a period of fragmentation and political conflict, struggling with rival kingdoms of the north and south.”

Of course, Maria, although you may not personally subscribe to this analysis of the historic record, it is important in any investigation into "What Happened to Egypt’s Pharaohs?", to look at Ralph Ellis' work:

This, of course, all relates to Akhenaton, and what happened to the Hyksos Pharaohs. This interpretation of the Akhenaton Story represents the beginning of the demise of the Egyptian Pharaoh lineage.

Hieroglyphs Prophecy of Doomsday -Full Documentary

    ---------------------

    Ezekiel 29:14-16

    Amplified Bible (AMP)

14 And I will reverse the captivity of Egypt [as I will that of Israel] and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros [under Egypt], the land of their origin, and they shall be there a lowly kingdom.
15 It shall be the lowliest of the kingdoms, neither shall it [a]exalt itself any more above the nations; I will diminish [the Egyptians] so they shall never again rule over the nations.
16 And never again shall Egypt have the confidence and be the reliance of the house of Israel; their iniquity will be brought to remembrance whenever [Israel] looks toward them [for help]. They shall know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord God [Who demands loyalty and obedient service].

    -------------------------------

    saiah 19
    New International Version (NIV)
    A Prophecy Against Egypt

    19 A prophecy against Egypt:

See, the Lord rides on a swift cloud
    and is coming to Egypt.
The idols of Egypt tremble before him,
and the hearts of the Egyptians melt with fear.
2 “I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian—
    brother will fight against brother,
    neighbor against neighbor,
    city against city,
    kingdom against kingdom.
3 The Egyptians will lose heart,
    and I will bring their plans to nothing;
they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead,
    the mediums and the spiritists.
4 I will hand the Egyptians over
to the power of a cruel master,
and a fierce king will rule over them,”
declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.
5 The waters of the river will dry up,
and the riverbed will be parched and dry.
    6 The canals will stink;
the streams of Egypt will dwindle and dry up.
The reeds and rushes will wither,
7 also the plants along the Nile,
at the mouth of the river.
Every sown field along the Nile
will become parched, will blow away and be no more.
8 The fishermen will groan and lament,
    all who cast hooks into the Nile;
those who throw nets on the water
    will pine away.
9 Those who work with combed flax will despair,
the weavers of fine linen will lose hope.
10 The workers in cloth will be dejected,
and all the wage earners will be sick at heart.
    11 The officials of Zoan are nothing but fools;
the wise counselors of Pharaoh give senseless advice.
How can you say to Pharaoh,
“I am one of the wise men,
a disciple of the ancient kings”?
12 Where are your wise men now?
Let them show you and make known
    what the Lord Almighty
    has planned against Egypt.
13 The officials of Zoan have become fools,
    the leaders of Memphis are deceived;
    the cornerstones of her peoples
    have led Egypt astray.
14 The Lord has poured into them
    a spirit of dizziness;
they make Egypt stagger in all that she does,
as a drunkard staggers around in his vomit.
15 There is nothing Egypt can do—
head or tail, palm branch or reed.
16 In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the Lord Almighty raises against them. 17 And the land of Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians; everyone to whom Judah is mentioned will be terrified, because of what the Lord Almighty is planning against them.

18 In that day five cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the Lord Almighty. One of them will be called the City of the Sun.[a]

19 In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the Lord at its border. 20 It will be a sign and witness to the Lord Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the Lord because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them. 21 So the Lord will make himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge the Lord. They will worship with sacrifices and grain offerings; they will make vows to the Lord and keep them. 22 The Lord will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the Lord, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them.

23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing[b] on the earth. 25 The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.”

    Footnotes:

Isaiah 19:18 Some manuscripts of the Masoretic Text, Dead Sea Scrolls, Symmachus and Vulgate; most manuscripts of the Masoretic Text City of Destruction

    The Kolbrin Bible

is the collection of documents (Bronze Book) that was hidden at the time of the burning of the Glastonbury Abbey in England by Edward the First (Longshanks) in 1184 AD. It has been preserved by secretive groups for the last 850 years. Edward sought to destroy the Kolbrin believing it to be a heretical rival of the Holy Bible and a potential threat to his rightful claim as King of England.

By Edward’s time in history the 1,920 acres of Glastonbury had long been considered a sacred gift to the family of Jesus and often operated like a sovereign nation, not paying taxes to the crown and riddled with mystery and religious significance.

In 1992 a leader of the failing "Hope Trust", that considered itself the protector of the Kolbrin, distributed a copy before its complete deregistration in 1995 intending to preserve it before it could be lost with the dissolution of the trust.

The Yow World Books copy of the Kolbrin comes from one of those 1992 original distributed copies that was sent to India for publication. There are two published versions, ours in America and the Culdean Trust version in New Zealand.

There are isolated copies in Lebanon, England, the Vatican and others around the world.

Scientist Claims The Lost City of Atlantis Was on Mars & Ancient Egypt Traded With Them

    http://www.riseearth.com/2014/02/sci...l#.Uwa8mmJ_v5x ~ FOTOS HERE

Swiss scientists say they can prove beyond a doubt that the Lost City of Atlantis was on Mars, and its astronauts traded with ancient Egypt for a significant period of time!

Even more incredible, they claim to have the evidence to show that the legendary King Tut died spectacularly in a space shuttle crash with an alien crew.

“The Martian Civilization destroyed itself or was destroyed by a meteor while Egypt was still in its prime,” Dr. Stephan Weisz told a gathering of reporters and scientists in Bern, Switzerland. But the inhabitants left their mark both on Earth and Mars. Top secret photographs taken by America’s Martian probes clearly show the remains of temples on the surface of the planet.

“Egypt’s pyramids and the ability to mummify the human body are definitely the result of technologies that originated not on Earth but someplace else, in this case Mars. It is our belief that the Atlantans traded these technologies to the Egyptians for gold.”

Dr. Weisz and a colleague, Egyptologist Conrad Vetsch, said that a recently deciphered Egyptian scroll first led them to believe that Atlantis was located on Mars. The scroll describes a technologically advanced civilization existing beyond our own planet “in the vast, black ocean of space.”

It also alludes to space travel and the use of a shuttle craft to ferry manlike extraterrestrials from a space-bound mother ship to the surface of Earth.

“Researchers have long known that the Egyptians were exposed to flight because an elaborate model of what they called a glider was found in Tut’s tomb,” Dr. Weisz told the group. “In light of information gleaned from the scrolls, we now see that the glider was in fact the replica of a space shuttle. And it was just such a space craft that crashed with Tut aboard.”

Not everyone attending the conference agreed with the experts’ theories. Dr. Seth Rausch, a German historian, thinks they went too far in calling the Martian civilization Atlantis. “I don’t doubt that the Egyptians were in contact with extraterrestrials,” said the expert. “But until we actually inspect the ruins on Mars, there is no way to know if they are the remains of Atlantis.”

“In my opinion, if Atlantis did exist, it existed here on Earth.”

Norwegian astronomer Elling Gade agreed. “Atlantis might have been the colony of an alien civilization. But it most definitely was located on this planet,” he said.

How come none of these scientists were surprised about temples on Mars? How come these scientists seemed to know of scripts that possibly prove the inter action of ancient Egypt and aliens?

What else is it that the scientific elite are aware of, that we are not? Why is it that they think our history, and things that may determine who we are, are none of our concern? Or, is it just that they think the more secrets they have, the more important they are?

...and they keep popping up , the pyramids , I mean...and is very , very old ...from the Predynastic period -equivalent to the Neolitic - which begins around 6.000 B.C. ....

The Prehistory of Egypt spans the period of earliest human settlement to the beginning of the Early Dynastic Period of Egypt in c. 3100 BC, starting with the first Pharaoh Narmer (also known as Menes).

The Predynastic period is traditionally equivalent to the Neolithic period, beginning c. 6000 BC and including the Protodynastic Period (Naqada III).

The dates of the Predynastic period were first defined before widespread archaeological excavation of Egypt took place, and recent finds indicating very gradual Predynastic development have led to controversy over when exactly the Predynastic period ended.

Thus, the term "Protodynastic period", sometimes called the "Zero Dynasty", has been used by scholars[who?] to name the part of the period which might be characterized as Predynastic by some and Early Dynastic by others.

The Predynastic period is generally divided into cultural periods, each named after the place where a certain type of Egyptian settlement was first discovered.

However, the same gradual development that characterizes the Protodynastic period is present throughout the entire Predynastic period, and individual "cultures" must not be interpreted as separate entities but as largely subjective divisions used to facilitate study of the entire period.

The vast majority of Predynastic archaeological finds have been in Upper Egypt, because the silt of the Nile River was more heavily deposited at the Delta region, completely burying most Delta sites long before modern times http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prehistoric_Egypt

    THE NEWS AND FOTO HERE

An international team of researchers has unearthed a 4,600-year-old small step pyramid at the archaeological site of al-Ghonemiya near the modern town of Edfu, Egypt.

    http://www.sci-news.com/archaeology/...ypt-01744.html

    ------------------

The news shows that someone is trying to connect this 4.600 year pyramids with some similar pyramids dated from 2.600 year from some strange reason attributed to an obscure Pharaoh named Huni , from the 3 Dinasty... well, this makes no sense what so ever !

These kind of historians give Archaeology /History a bad name !!! and I know what I'm talking about , as being one myself

    --------------------------

    THE NEWS HERE

The pyramid belongs to a series of almost identical small pyramids that have been discovered near several provincial centers in Egypt such as Elephantine, Hierakonpolis, Naqada, Abydos, Zawiet el-Meitin near Minya, and Seila in the Fayum.

According to an inscription found at Elephantine that can be linked directly to this pyramid, the whole group dates to the reign of Pharaoh Huni (around 2600 BC), last ruler of the 3rd Dynasty.

The monument is situated north of the modern village of al-Ghonemiya – between the edge of the desert and the cultivated areas of the Nile Valley, about 5 km south of Tell Edfu and at 25 km south of the pyramid of al-Kula, which is linked to the major Predynastic site of Hierakonpolis.

The first reference to the Edfu pyramid dates back to 1894, when G. Legrain indicated a ‘false’ pyramid at the entrance of the Edfu-Kharga caravan road. In 1908, H. de Morgan mentioned the structure again, and two years later Arthur Weigall mentioned its presence in his Guide to the Antiquities of Upper Egypt from Abydos to the Sudan Frontier.

In 2009, the archaeological team led by Dr Gregory Marouard from the University of Chicago’s Oriental Institute and Dr Hratch Papazian from the University of Copenhagen commissioned the Tell Edfu Project in order to unearth and protect this pyramid.

According to the archaeologists, the Edfu pyramid had been built directly on the sandstone bedrock and was made exclusively of sandstone and some calcareous sandstone blocks. The quarry area has been discovered only 800 m north of the site during an extensive preliminary survey conducted on some of the small hills that mark the desert edge at the site.

“The construction itself reflects a certain care and a real expertise in the mastery of stone construction, especially for the adjustment of the most important blocks,” Dr Marouard and Dr Papazian said in an article published in the News & Notes, a Quarterly Publication of the Oriental Institute (in .pdf).

“The stones had been cut roughly into shape by percussion without any further refinement, but they are all relatively similar in size with standardized dimensions of 65–80 cm in length for the upper part. In the lower part, some blocks regularly exceed 1.0–1.5 m in length and more than 2 m for some large slabs of very hard brown sandstone, which was mainly used for the external courses and for producing a solid foundation layer. The blocks are held together by a large amount of clay mortar that contains a considerable amount of river sand.”

The Edfu pyramid was originally made of three steps, two inclined layers leaning against a central core. Its internal structure and the use of the accretion layer technique can be easily seen on the northern and southern faces.

Along its base the pyramid measures about 18.5 m, which corresponds to about 35 royal cubits. The height reaches only 5 m today mainly because of the reuse of the blocks for private construction.

With a length of approximately 50 cubits in the diagonal direction through the center, a simple geometrical link between triangles can be used for evaluating the original elevation of the monument, which can be estimated to have been about 13 m (25 royal cubits). This means only less than a third of it remains today.

During 2009-2013 seasons, Dr Marouard and his colleagues have discovered two groups of post-Old Kingdom graffiti.

“Two graffiti on the north face and two graffiti on the south face incised on the soft and light-colored stone blocks. Both groups are located toward the center of each side, and they were at eye level in antiquity.”

“One of the blocks on the south side contains four signs: a four-legged animal, a seated man, a reed leaf, and a book roll; a fifth sign, a bird, is placed a few centimeters away to the right. The second block on the south side only has parallel lines or lines that make triangles.”

“On the north side, a block on the lower half shows a four-legged animal, which is not carved as nicely as the one of the south side. Another block above and to the right of this one shows a series of vertical lines, some of them double lines.”

This may indicate that the Edfu pyramid had kept its symbolic form and significance throughout a large part of the pharaonic period.

The archaeologists have recently unearthed the stone foundation of a small shrine or offering chapel near the monument.

“It might have been used for the royal cult of the late Third Dynasty Pharaoh Huni, to whom this pyramid has been attributed,” they said.

Dr Marouard presented the results on 11 January at the 39th Annual Symposium on Ancient Egypt of the Society for the Study of Egyptian Antiquities in Toronto, Canada; some details were also published in the 2012-2013 Annual report of the Oriental Institute.

Default Re: What Happened to Egypt’s Pharaohs?

EDFU, Egypt, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Archaeologists have discovered a 4600-year-old pyramid in Edfu, Egypt, which is the seventh "provincial" pyramid to be built before the Great Pyramids at Giza. http://www.upi.com/Science_News/Blog...1601391460261/

The step pyramid is only 16 feet high, but is believed to have been 43 feet high when built. The pyramid is identical to six other provincial pyramids found earlier, which are located near different settlements. The exact purpose of these pyramids has eluded archaeologists, who think they could have been used as a symbol of the king's power in the southern provinces.

"The similarities from one pyramid to the other are really amazing, and there is definitely a common plan," said Gregory Marouard, a research associate at the University of Chicago's Oriental Institute.

But the discovery of food offerings at the Edfu pyramid could provide clues to its purpose. The team also found hieroglyphic graffiti on the outside of the pyramid near remains of babies and children, but archaeologists believe the burials and inscriptions came long after the pyramid was built.

"These are mostly private and rough inscriptions, and certainly dedicated to the child/babies' burials located right under these inscriptions at the foot of the pyramid," Marouard told Live Science.

According to Marouard, villagers always assumed the structure to be the tomb of a local Muslim saint, but on cleaning the structure the archaeologists realized it was pyramid. The structure is a three-step pyramid and was built using sandstone blocks and clay mortar.

"The construction itself reflects a certain care and a real expertise in the mastery of stone construction, especially for the adjustment of the most important blocks," said Marouard.

By the time Khufu began his reign as king of Egypt, these pyramids had been abandoned and offerings were no longer made. This coincides with the construction of the Great Pyramids, and archeologists suggest Khufu may have thought it unimportant to continue maintaining these seven pyramids.

Seems pretty obvious to me that the Pharaohs just transformed into the Popes. They dress the same, tie in the same belief system with name changes only and basically they are opposed by the Jews the same way the Jews opposed Pharaoh
