It was definitely a high point for me!
Unfortunately I don't have an inside track to Dr. O, but if I ever get the chance, I will certainly ask.
I was disappointed that no one at the site picked up the thread here again, as Dr. O. said he thought would happen.
Maybe we will just have to be more patient...
And I have to apologize for never getting around to posting my notes from the last Conference.
I think he's probably covered the important points in the videos, though.

Houston Anthropologist reveals irrefutable proof that recorded history is wrong
By Debbie West, via the Waking Times, 12 November 2013

Evidence Found Across the Globe of Highly Evolved Human Species from before the Ice Age, Demand Scientific Recognition of our Past that Depicts Societies of Advanced Technology and Culture

Houston anthropologist, Dr. Semir Osmanagich, founder of the Bosnian Archaeology Park, the most active archaeology site in the world, declares that irrefutable scientific evidence exists of ancient civilizations with advanced technology that leaves us no choice but to change our recorded history. An examination of the age of structures across the earth reveals conclusively that they were built by advanced civilizations from over 29,000 years ago.

“Acknowledging that we are witness to fundamental proof of advanced civilizations dating back over 29,000 years and an examination of their societal structures forces the World to reconsider its understanding of the development of civilization and history,” explains Dr. Semir Osmanagich.“Conclusive data at the Bosnian Pyramid site revealed in 2008 and confirmed this year by several independent labs who conducted radio carbon testing dates the site at 29,400 +/-400 years minimum.”

The radiocarbon dating tests of 29,200 years +/- 400 years was done by Radiocarbon Lab from Kiew, Ukraine, on organic material found at the Bosnian Pyramid site. Physicist Dr. Anna Pazdur of Poland’s Silesian University first announced the news at a Press Conference in Sarajevo in August of 2008. Professor of Classical Archaeology from the University of Alexandria Dr. Mona Haggag called this discovery “writing new pages in European and World history.” The C14 date of 29,000 years at the Bosnian Archaeological Park was obtained from a piece of organic material retrieved from a clay layer inside the outer casing to the pyramid. It follows a sample date obtained during the 2012 dig season on material located above the concrete at 24,800 years, meaning this structure has a construction profile stretching back almost 30,000 years.
“The ancient people who built these pyramids knew the secrets of frequency and energy. They used these natural resources to develop technologies and undertake construction on scales we have never witnessed on earth,” said Dr. Osmanagich. Evidence clearly shows that the pyramids were built as ancient energy machines aligned with the earth’s energy grid, providing energy for healing as well as power.
Ancient historians in the US have news just as astonishing as anything found in the far corners of the globe. For instance, the Rockwall discovery outside of Dallas, Texas, is only one example of how we are now re-examining ancient mysteries to reveal more about our past, right in the United States. H2 (History 2) popular series Unearthing Ancient America recently filmed an episode about the Rockwall that will air later this year. The Texas site is a complex and massive wall ten miles in diameter built over 20,000 years ago and covered by soil seven stories below the ground. The question is by whom was this structure built and for what purpose and, most importantly, how can knowledge left by these past civilizations help shape our future?
Newly-revealed or rediscovered traces of ancient civilizations have ignited an innate curiosity about human origins as reflected by recent coverage in mainstream media and TV. The November 2013 issue of National Geographic: 100 Greatest Mysteries Revealed-Ancient Civilizations Unearthed says,

“Sometimes cultures leave behind mysteries that baffle those who come after them, from standing stones to coded manuscripts, indications that ancient people indeed had a profound purpose.”

Forward-thinking scientists continue to pursue knowledge from our past that is useful to determine a better future. Renowned author Michal Cremo in his book Forbidden Archeology theorizes that knowledge of advanced Homo-sapiens has been suppressed or ignored by the scientific establishment because it contradicts the current views of human origins that don’t agree with the dominant paradigm. Cremo’s body of work has been described as “a useful teaching resource, raising a wide range of issues covering aspects of knowledge transfer, sure to be provocative in the classroom.” It has been reviewed with widespread appraisal by hundreds of academic journals.

    Gobekli Tepe in Eastern Turkey

Results clearly indicate that similar advanced civilizations of humans were present all across the globe at that time in history. For example,Gobekli Tepe located in Eastern Turkey, is a vast complex of enormous megalithic stone circles with a radius of between 10 and 20 meters, much larger than the well-known Stonehenge in Great Britain. Excavations at Gobekli Tepe that began there in 1995 revealed radio carbon dating at least 11,600 years. German archaeologist Dr. Klaus Schmidt from the German Archaeological Institute, Berlin, Germany, with the support of ArchaeoNova Institute from Heidelberg, Germany, has led the excavation of these recently-discovered pre-historic megalithic circles at the Turkey location.
“Gobekli Tepe is one of the most fascinating Neolithic locations in the world,” Dr. Klaus Schmidt claims. But as he explains in a recent report, to understand the new finds, archaeologists need to work closely with specialists in comparative religion, architectural and art theory, cognitive and evolutionary psychology, sociologists using social network theory, and others.

“It is the complex story of the earliest, large settled communities, their extensive networking, and their communal understanding of their world, perhaps even the first organized religions and their symbolic representations of the cosmos,” as reported by Klaus Schmidt.

In addition to the megalithic structures, figures and carvings have been discovered, depicting animals of pre historic nature such as dinosaurs and other wild life. Since excavations started in 1995, four of the circles have been partially cleaned, but it is thought that there are a total of up to 50 circles hidden underground. These vast monoliths, soaring seven meters in height and 25 tons in mass at Gobekli Tepe, are situated right in the heart of what we perceive as the origin of civilization. This find offers new guidance to the true history of earth and our ancient civilizations.
“Our archaeological research goal is not to simply uncover all of the megalithic circles but to try to figure out their purpose,” adds Schmidt.

Bosnian Pyramid Now in Eighth Year: Proof of Advanced Civilizations from over 30,000 years ago

The Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids now in the eighth year of excavation spans six square kilometers in the Visoko River Basin 40km northwest of Sarajevo. Comprised of four ancient pyramids almost three times the size of Giza and an extensive subterranean pyramid tunnel complex, new discoveries each year continue to reveal proof of a much different history of mankind on earth. The central pyramid of the Sun rises a colossal 420 meters in to the air and has a mass of millions of tons. By comparison the Great pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) in the Giza plateau is 146 meters high, making the Bosnian Pyramids the largest and oldest known pyramids on the planet. Since research began at the Bosnian site, Dr. Osmanagich has amazed the scientific and archaeological community by gathering a team of interdisciplinary engineers, physicists and researchers from around the world to conduct open and transparent investigation of the site to try and discover the true nature and purpose of this pyramidal complex.

“This is an unknown culture presenting highly-advanced arts and sciences, technology capable of forming truly massive structures and we believe in that process demonstrating an ability to harness pure energy resources,” comments Tim Moon, who has recently joined Osmanagich as lead archeologist at the Bosnian site.

The archaeological project delivered another significant finding this year in the pyramid tunnel complex known as Ravine. Tunneling deep into a ridge line leading toward the Pyramid of the Sun the team has unearthed several megalith stones. In August an enormous stone estimated at 25,000 kgs was uncovered approximately 400 meters into the labyrinth. “This is a hugely significant find,” comments Moon.“Here we have a massive stone, possibly a constructed ceramic, buried under hundreds of thousands of tons of material. We are locating foundation walls around its perimeter and cut stone blocks.” Large quantities of artifacts have been recovered from the associated tunnels leading to the site, including effigies painted on stone, art objects and a series of hieroglyphics or ancient texts carved into the tunnel walls.
Dr. Osmangich stresses that it is time for open sharing of knowledge so we can understand and learn from our past.

“It is time for us to open our minds to the true nature of our origin and destruction of each other as a civilization on this planet. Our mission here is to realign science with spirituality in order to progress as a species, and this demands a clear path of shared knowledge.”

Visitors are welcome to the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids and its Foundation offers a volunteer program each dig season, running June to September.

I'm really glad people are starting to pay more attention to this subject, as it's very important.
As Klaus Dona said, possibly the most important archeological discovery of the century.
I got to meet Dr. Osmanagich at the 12;12;12 Conference in Little Rock facilitated by James Tyberonn, and heard his lecture that year as well as the year before on 11:11:11.
His presence is remarkable, and his presentations were riveting.
I told him I have been a member of Project Avalon and mentioned the thread about the Bosnian Pyramids that Truthseeker 512 started.
He was aware of it, and said he thought Truthseeker was going to return to the Bosnian site and so could resume giving us updates here on Avalon, but so far, unfortunately, that hasn't happened.

A woman I know locally went to dig as a volunteer at the Complex recently, and came back enthralled and enthused.
Truly a life-changing event for her, and, I would imagine, anyone who goes there with an open mind and heart.
She gifted me with a souvenir rock from the tunnel she was digging in, and I treasure it.
(I wanted to get one at the Conference, but they were gone in minutes!)
It has the nicest energy--so light.
I hope many will pray for Dr.O. and the work he is doing, that it comes to light.
Once it does, it will change much re the way humankind sees the world and our history on this planet.
Thanks to Wind for starting a new thread on this fascinating subject..

Some of the newer members and guests may not be aware of the entire thread devoted to the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids at:
    https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...ght=osmanagich
There has been tremendous resistance from Egypt in the verification of the significance of Dr. Osmangich's work, as many tourists are going to Bosnia now who would have traditionally gone to see the Egyptian pyramids.
Along with the usual resistance to "forbidden archeology", Dr. O's got his work cut out for him.
Fortunately, there are still many volunteers from around the world going to Bosnia to help with the excavation.

Thank you for guiding me to that thread, Onawah. I remember only vaguely reading about this subject before here, but for some reason I had my doubts back then and I didn't pay much attention to it. It seems that Truthseeker512 hasn't been posting on this forum after July 2012... I would love to hear weekly or at least monthly updates about this project. While mainstream media is covering all unimportant matters on the news, big findings like this get no attention! I mean, there are literally thousands of pyramids around the world and the Bosnian pyramids are the largest ones so far! We truly live in an ignorant society.

I have a friend a 40 year old teacher in history and religion; i told her the other day about the Bosnian Pyramids and first she said she didn't believe it and that she knows a Bosnian woman who doesn't either. I aksed if the woman had been there...no....or if she had seen the videos on internet...no...My friend did not ask for the links. She questioned the validity since nothing had been in the news and i said i don't think they want to rewrite history...she is coming here for my birthday on Monday and i will log in to this post and.....Heureka

I have looked at some of the other discussions on this forum about the Bosnian pyramid and realize that a major significance of it is evidence for a civilization over 25,000 years ago, but I'm specifically wondering about the construction, because I'm not finding much consistent information on that. In the argument about whether it is a pyramid or hill, I guess a major determining factor is how you define "Pyramid" and what the actual construction is.

There are some pictures of areas where it looks like there is stone cladding, and articles talk about the entire pyramid being covered over in top soil. Is it supposedly a hill that was formed into a pyramid shape or built from the ground up, then completely or partially covered over in stone cladding by humans, and eventually covered over by top soil by nature?

    Or

Is it just a hill that is naturally shaped like a pyramid and has remnants of an old civilization including some stone cladding and tunnels in certain areas on it?

I Just ran across an article where a researcher claims that ancient concrete was used, but there is no specifics about whether that supposedly covers or fills the whole pyramid or if it is just found in one area. If the whole surface or interior was concrete or stone, I would think that wherever they dug they would run into it:
    http://beforeitsnews.com/beyond-scie...t-2441772.html

From articles and videos, it doesn't seem like it has a stone interior with granite cladding like the Great Pyramid of Giza and therefore wouldn't have the same possible function related to that type of construction. Some have speculated that the Giza construction could have given that pyramid some type of electrical energy.

Here is a short video that discusses the Bosnian pyramid:

"I Just ran across an article where a researcher claims that ancient concrete was used"- this may not be as far-fetched as it initially sounds; according to Richard J. Dewhurst in his new, hot-off-the-press book "The Ancient Giants Who Ruled America; The Missing Skeletons and the Great Smithsonian Cover-Up"" (a history of the Mound Builders who pre-date the Clovis Peoples) there is found evidence that the Mound Builders as well used a type of concrete in several sites-

Here is a video that I just found that answers a lot of the questions that I had. Although the makers of the video came to the conclusion that the "Bosnian Pyramid" and other formations in the area were a hill and natural formations, it does have a lot of footage of Semir Osmanagic explaining what he believes about it. At 8:16 into the video he says "This is outside wall of the pyramid. Underneath is layer of clay. Because with the clay, in the case of earthquake, the building will not collapse. Under the clay we have huge blocks of sandstone. All of them are laid out at 35 degrees all the way to the top of the pyramid." He also says "This is not shaped hill. This is a structure that was built from the bottom up." One of the scientists that the video makers consulted thought it was a natural hill and that the the surface stones that looked like concrete were naturally formed. Another scientist that was consulted thought that it was a natural hill that an ancient civilization put a lot of work into to form it into the shape of a pyramid. At 23:06 into the video, Semir talks about how the concrete was made and then one of the scientists talks about how it was naturally formed.

This video must have been made before the discovery of organic material there that was dated to around 25,000 years ago, because that wasn't mentioned. At 21:11 to 22:15 in the video there is mention by one of the scientists of an ancient civilization around 2,000 to 4,000 B.C in Europe possibly being involved:

The Test that have been done prove that these are a group of Pyramids at least 25,000 yrs old and probably older and made from concrete that is at least 3 times better than any today. Clause Donna did some test and they are excavating towards his direction. This is one COOL discovery. People of all ages are going to the site to work since about 2006. I WANT TO GO TOO

    Posted by zvezdar:

This is not a pyramid. Osmanagic is cleverly excavating the ruins on that site in an attempt to fool others into believing his pyramid hypothesis.

the hill has kind of a pyramid shape, and its a naturally rocky area which has a lot of flat and weathered stones. Many of the stone "structure" that he attempts to pass off as man-made are clearly weathered and natural formations. Others appear to be sections of roads or paths; on the hill Visocica was once a medieval fortress and the region has been occupied for at least 5,000 years (and has always had strategic and economic importance, given the intersection of two rivers occurs here). They are also showing excavations of man-made structures that are buried within the hill and passing it off as the internals of a pyramid.

I personally know a number of people that grew up in Visoko and have been back a number of times over the years, every single one of them thinks the idea of the pyramid is hilarious. Its known that the hills were used by past civilisations in various ways, but there were never pyramids.

The Balkans has an extremely rich history, and as the location is a major intersection between East and West it has been populated for many thousands of years. As a result there are vast complexes, underground tunnels, fortresses and the like scattered across the peninsula.

A good example is at Petrovaradin in Serbia. While the current fortress is a few hundred years old, excavations have shown that the area has been constantly occupied for the last 15,000-20,000 years. There are fortifications on site that are 5,000 years old. Following that were Roman fortifications, and after that a monastery. There are many kilometres of tunnels in and around the area.

This also shows the turbulence of the region throughout known history. It hasnt had the kind of stability required to support a civilisation with the strength and stability to put in the monumental effort required to build pyramids. There have always been wars and invaders from all sides; even the slavs only arrived in the last 1500 years or so and it has been a period of virtually constant fighting (the slavs, of course, conquering the previous inhabitants).

You can expect to find the ruins of fortifications and tunnels throughout strategically important areas of the Balkans. But no pyramids.

Its going to be obvious soon I would have thought if it is a
    pyramid structure or not.

Scientific Evidence Reports that Bosnian Pyramids Built Using Geopolymer Cement

    on October 22, 2013
Posted In: space objects ufos unexplained

The New Era Times, http://www.tnetimes.com reports that independent
analysis from five separate Institutes of materials confirms that the Bosnian
Pyramids contain high quality man-made concrete construction material eliminating
all skeptical claims about the authenticity of the Bosnian Pyramids. The
controversial site of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun has a team of over 200
interdisciplinary scientists from all over the world doing scientific analysis on not
only the nature and age of the building materials, but also determining how the
energy of the pyramid was used by the ancient scientists for applications beneficial
to humanity ranging from geothermal transportation, climatology, and
advancements in human physiology and health.

Results released by the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy of chemical and
diffractometry laboratory analysis done on sandstone and conglomerate blocks
taken from the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun show that the samples are an inert
material with a binding, similar to that found in ancient Roman concrete. These
results were confirmed by analysis on the samples done at the University of
    Zenica,Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In a separate independent test, Professor Joseph Davidovits, renowned French
Scientist, member of the International Association of Egyptologists and author
confirms this claim. “I performed electron microscopic analysis of the sample and I
propose the geopolymer chemistry that was used to make this is ancient concrete,”
    wrote Prof Davidovits. http://www.davidovits.info/34/the-py...roman-concrete

He further adds that the sample is composed of “a calcium/potassium-based
geopolymer cement and that although he cannot date the sample, he can discern
that it is not modern concrete, but more like the technique used by the Egyptians
3500 years ago.” In his book,The Pyramids: an Enigma Solved, Davidovits presents
the current knowledge of pyramid construction that is supported by scientific,
historical, and linguistic studies which prove that the Egyptian pyramids were
constructed using agglomerated stone (limestone cast like concrete).

The research on pyramid technology has long suspected that pyramid energy
involvesscience and machinery far more advanced than what we currently have
today. Christopher Dunn, author of The Giza Power Plant, published in 1996
explains that the pyramids were ancient energy machines, currently a popular
theory amongst researchers. The pyramids of Bosnia have the same elements
described in the Giza pyramids that define the structure of an ancient power
generator system. After visiting Bosnia in 2011, Chris Dunn stated, “While I was in
Visoko, experts from various disciplines showed excitement on the result of their
studies of the so-called pyramid hill. Hopefully, in due course, clear signs of ancient
precision engineering will eventually be discovered.”Now in 2013, the Bosnian
archeological site is further excavated and new scientific evidence has emerged
proving that ancient precision engineering was indeed used to build the Bosnian Pyramids.

Further evidence of concrete being used in pyramid construction is shown by the
work of Professor Michel Barsoum, Distinguished Professor in the Department of
Materials Science and Engineering at Drexel University, and Professor Gilles Hug, of
the French National Aerospace Research Agency who have found scientific evidence
that parts of the Great Pyramids of Giza were built using an early form of concrete.
This debunks an age old myth that the pyramids were built using only cut limestone
blocks and proves the theory that concrete and nanotechnology was used by the
    ancients.

Since it was discovered in 2005 by Dr. Sam SemirOsmanagich Ph.D., director of
Center for Anthropology and Archaeology at the American University in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, the Bosnian Pyramid complex has been stonewalled by mainstream
archeologists until recent scientific evidence which makes it impossible to deny the
authenticity of this history changing discovery.

“The team of interdisciplinary scientists conducting studies on the cosmic energy
enigma at the archeological site in Bosniaare on a relentless pursuit to uncover the
wisdom from the ancient culture that left this behind,” states Dr.
SamOsmanagich. “There are facts about physical phenomenon that can be
scientifically verified, yet there remain many unanswered questions unexplainable
    using our current recorded history.”

Facts that have been verified by scientific analytic testing include:

    • The Sun pyramid stands over 722 feet (220 m) high one third taller than the
    Great Pyramid of Giza

    • Radio carbon dating shows the pyramid to be at least 24,800 years old

    • Material Analysis shows that the structure is from man-made concrete

    • There is an 8.000 kg ceramic block under the pyramid in the underground labyrinth

    • An energy beam, electromagnetic in nature with a radius of 4.5 meters and a
frequency of 28 kHz,has been detected and measured coming from the top of the
    Sun pyramid

    • An ultrasound beam with a radius of 10 meters and frequency of 28-33 kHz has
been measured on the top of the pyramid, as well

    • The pyramids are aligned with the earth’s cardinal points and oriented to stellar North

“Although tens of thousands of pyramids have been discovered across the planet,
none have the construction quality and date back as far as the ones in Bosnia,”
states Osmanagich. “Bosnia is the original pyramid, the oldest and largest ever
constructed. It has an exact zero degree North orientation and is potentially the key
to releasing information about ancient technology that can free the world of its
dependence on fossil fuel along with offering the possibility of finding astounding
medical breakthroughs in the scientific community.”

Medical tests on the effect on the human aura have started at the Bosnian
Pyramids and early evidence shows that human physiology and emotional states
are highly elevated in the pyramid. This is due to the reduction of negative ions
that are found in our atmosphere.

That's what I was thinking , we know the area was within the ancient Greek ,
Persian , Roman and other cultural influences and later eras and is why the
mainstream historians and archaeologists are not taking them seriously.
I'm halfway thru the above video and it is interesting that they are postulating it
could be a hill pyramid with a outside shell as some others are apparently. It
should be relatively straight forward to debunk with test pits all around the hill. ( I
have watched nearly all of the time teams made and you always do a scan with
Ground Penetrating Radar or a test pit before digging...LOL )....If its a hoax its a
genuine one as they must know the scrutiny is only going to get more intense if
they continue to claim its a ancient pyramid.

I am more along Coppens' conclusion that it's a human modified natural formation.

However, "Sam" having put down his chip on the table for it being a pyramid, it becomes more and more difficult to backpedal... and the controversy is good for the economy.

I just finished the video in post #8 and its a good watch with Klaus Dona and David
Hatcher Childress both giving their views and commenting on the excavation. It is a
large area and they are doing it on a shoe string budget, so I give them credit for
that and they have been test drilling in various areas.

mining or the old fortress on the top. Ruling out mercury, iron ore, coal, silver and

They are not getting any government help and are not allowed to dig ontop of the

opposition and criticism from many institutions.

It seemed so promising, but after a short week we noticed that there was a lot of breccia created by tectonics, and no 'pyramids' at all. Bosnia is loaded with natural pyramid-shaped hills! Every researcher who went there and came back with the conclusion 'no pyramids' is ignored. It would be great if I am wrong, but alas, I do not think I am . . .

Quote Posted by Jean-Paul Demoule, Professor of later European prehistory at Paris 1 University (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and President of INRAP

Bosnia's professional archaeologists have all denounced this mystification, confirmed by a special delegation from the European Association of Archaeologists. In fact, Bosnia's ancient history is perfectly understood and offers no other traces of this mysterious civilization.
Quote Posted by Jean-Paul Demoule, January 10, 2013

The excavations have only found geological features and mining tunnels from the Middle Age. It is clear that it was never any prehistoric 'pyramid' in Visoko. Bosnian prehistory is perfectly known as are known the paleolithic societies there 15.000 years ago. The expertise of the European Association of Archaeologists and of all the Bosnian professional archaeologists was perfectly clear and unanimous.

The only interesting point in Visoko is the invention of a new national myth based on natural curiosities. The reason for my interest on this problem is my more general interest about the connexion and interrelations between archaeology and the actual societies, and the role, use and abuse of archaeology in national identities. Sincerely Jean-Paul Demoule

I would say there are probably three types of people involved in the pyramids. There are fanatics who want to believe this stuff, there are people who are being misled, and there are people who are leading people along, cynically, for political and financial reasons.

These natural hills have nothing to do with pyramids. There have been no new data to change this conclusion.
Quote Posted by Philip Coppens in NEXUS Magazine, vol. 16, no. 1

Archaeologist Dr Nabil Mohamed Swelim, holder of three PhDs and the discoverer of four pyramids in Egypt, visited the structures in September 2007 and he concludes that they are man-made "pyramid hills", as distinct from pyramids.

A pyramid hill is a natural hill that is artificially enhanced to conform to the pyramid structure, whereas a pyramid is built from the bottom up.
