I agree it could be false flag stuff too.. all i wanted to point out was the strange dream" this morning, seeing Osprey's which really I have no interest in, and haven't seen any of those things in movies or pictures for many moons.. Taurean's mention of Diego Garcia just really resonated with the odd remote vision experience..
I have nothing substantial to add to the thread at the moment, just to say:

This is a remarkable synchronicty, Bob, for last night (this morning) I too dreamt about Ospreys. Except instead of the aircraft, I dreamt of the animal in which the aircraft are named off of. It is not too unusual for me as I live in an area where they frequent. But still, this is the only dream I've ever had of these birds, and it is strange indeed that you dreamt of the aircraft which are named off of the birds the exact same night as me...

One specific thing about Ospreys is that they almost always live near bodies of water and feed almost exclusively off of fish.

No point in having Osprey craft in Diego Garcia...to far from any other land mass to be of use to the military:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_Bo...s_.28MV-22B.29 - flight range is 879 nautical miles

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diego_Garcia - nearest major land mass is 967 nautical miles (1,790 km) south-southwest of the southern tip of India.

The plane did not land in Diego Garcia...either the drink (Indian Ocean) or perhaps Pakistan/India...one of the 'Stans'. The likelihood that this would be used for a follow-on attack is slim at best. It's easier to just buy a damn plane and stuff it with explosives or bio agents than try to steal a freakin 777.

This is another article that is in support of the pilot of MH-370, Zaharie Ahmad Shah. I'm posting it to show how his portrayal in the media does not reflect reality and is being used to construct a narrative to try to explain the disappearance of flight MH-370.

There is quite a bit of speculation as to Zaharie having a flight simulator and his wife having gone to their second home the day before the disappearance (which I wrote about earlier in this thread and gave what I think are reasonable explanations for here and here). In addition there has been a bit over the last day in relation to his support of Malaysia's opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim.

This article debunks the fallacy that Anwar Ibrahim is some sort of radical opposition leader.

    ###

    The Malaysia Airlines Pilot’s Politics
    By William J. Dobson. 17th March 2014.

Zaharie Ahmad Shah supported Anwar Ibrahim. That’s common sense, not zealotry.

Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim arrives at the first parliamentary session after May elections.

There is an axiom in Malaysian politics: Eventually everything comes back to Anwar Ibrahim. So, the longer that the fumbling and inept investigation into the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has gone on, the more certain it became that it would somehow boomerang to the leader of the country’s democratic opposition.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Najib Razak went before the cameras to declare that officials believe the plane was deliberately diverted and flown in an unknown direction somewhere along a wide arc from Kazakhstan to deep into the Indian Ocean. Now that the search for the Boeing 777 has turned into a criminal investigation, the authorities are taking a close look at the flight’s chief pilot, Zaharie Ahmad Shah, and its first officer, Fariq Abdul Hamid.

They quickly learned - as no doubt all of Shah’s friends knew - that the pilot was a strong supporter of Anwar Ibrahim’s People’s Justice Party. Indeed, Shah is believed to have attended Anwar’s court hearing on March 7 that overturned his 2012 acquittal on sodomy charges, a politically motivated case that the Malaysian government typically dusts off around election time. On Sunday, the U.K. and Malaysian press treated the revelation with the shock you might reserve for damning evidence. Shah was described - by an unnamed source - as a “fanatical supporter of the country’s opposition leader.” Elsewhere, he is described (apparently by unnamed police sources) as “fervent” and “strident” in his political convictions. More than a week after the Boeing 777 disappeared, we lack a motive, a clear suspect, or even a crime scene, but we have our “Anwar Ibrahim connection.” That is Malaysian politics.

A fanatical supporter of Anwar Ibrahim does sound scary - as long as you know nothing about him.

Anwar is the 66-year old opposition leader who is the principal thorn in the side of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) that has ruled Malaysia for 56 years. Anwar heads a coalition of parties, which includes his own multiethnic party, that has made the greatest inroads against the country’s corrupt masters. In 2008, the opposition won more than a third of the seats in parliament - the first time that UMNO lost its supermajority that allowed it to change the constitution at the prime minister’s whim. Anwar, who had been a political prisoner for six years, most of it in solitary confinement, won his seat in a landslide, and the opposition won five of the country’s 13 state governments. Last year, his opposition party claimed to have won the election against the ruling party, a contest that many say was marred by widespread fraud. Anwar supported the massive protests that followed the ruling party’s supposed victory, but he never called for a toppling of the government.

Anwar is trying to defeat Malaysia’s authoritarian regime through elections - not terrorism, let alone revolution. So, to be clear, what we know is that the pilot of MH370 is a fanatical supporter of a nonviolent man who supports a pluralistic and democratic Malaysia.

Of course, we don’t know Shah’s precise state of mind, and it is true that hours before the flight, his political hero had just been dealt bad news with the court’s decision to overturn his previous acquittal. But this is not news that Anwar or his close supporters would have found shocking. On several occasions I have interviewed Anwar, most recently at his home in 2011, he was always forced to operate under the threat of these politically trumped-up charges that he viewed as nothing more than a weak effort to discredit him. Indeed, few Malaysians view the government’s accusations as anything other than evidence of crooked politics, and Anwar has only become more popular and UMNO’s rule more brittle.

But, if we are engaging in wild theories - and why not, this is Malaysian politics - then why would unnamed police sources be playing up the pilot’s political beliefs a week after we are no closer to knowing the truth about MH370? Because the Malaysian authorities’ performance during this investigation is a pretty reasonable approximation of what passes for governance in a corrupt, nepotistic regime that long ago lost any purpose besides accumulating wealth and extending its own power. Malaysia has fallen behind its Southeast Asian competitors economically in large part because of its stunted political culture. Acting transportation minister Hishammuddin Hussein’s defensive press conferences and updates, which range from opaque to contradictory, are what you’d expect from government ministers who are seldom expected to answer questions.

So, is it possible that Shah hijacked the Malaysia Airlines flight in some twisted form of protest against the government? Of course - even if it seems a less likely explanation than the half dozen other theories that are being floated. Because, whatever happened on board Flight 370, Shah’s support of Anwar Ibrahim is the one piece of evidence that suggests he had a firm grip on reality, not that he was trying to escape it.

Has anyone made any mention of under sea bases, which we all know there are PLENTY of those. And I am not necessarily speaking of alien bases. If the US has underground/undersea bases, other countries most likely have them too, with fancy technology to go along with it, so the plane could have been swiped into one of many rabbit holes. It may never be known where they hid the plane, but if it was hijacked, for a political motive, then we will find out eventually. And if there is some sort of negotiation to be done with all of this, then keeping those passengers alive would be in their best interest.

At first, I thought maybe they wanted to use this as a fake alien invasion, but the stolen passport is not a random concidence that would occur on just any ol' flight.

I've not seen any info on what was in the cargo hold. How about 2,000 tones of gold worth an estimated 100 million? What if this was the greatest heist in history and the pilot was in on it?

Well, beside a kitchen sink to throw in as well, me think somebody got their hands on a new toy that could turn that plane into a stealth drone. The kind of technology Henry Deacon/Arthur Neuman was working at putting together for 9-11.

But, this time without most anybody being in on it which would imply the faking + jamming + shutting off of signals from a specific target. Now, who could do that? And, at the same, time making a number of nations' military and civilian organizations look like fools and losing face.... on top of the emotional shock generated by the loss of passengers and crew.

I'm more concerned about what's in the cargo hold now.....

(I read about a week ago there was a bunch of lithium batteries being shipped in this plane) could of been another bogus claim though.

I can understand the 777 remote capability for stopping hi jacking...

if this was a demonstration on how a kidnapped plane could be redirected and landed in a military base, it would save face for Boeing, but hacking in and kidnapping a plane, that is a scenario they never prepared for...

since it is silence, I would say the 2nd is most likely...

I'm about done tracking this too, I've got my theories and that's all we can have at this point until they make their move or abort with some ridiculous cover story.

Lot's going on and this may be connected as well, we'll see what they'll say or do 3-22 if it's some type of blood ritual, since they like to play the number games and symbolic date games.

Need to watch the big players and military moves right now.....it's slim, but I'm hoping they somehow recover this plane with all the people still alive. It would really "make" someone a hero to do such a thing.

    From CNN:

Adding to the intrigue, ABC News reported that the dramatic left turn was preprogrammed into the plane's navigation computer. It's a task that would have required extensive piloting experience.

flight simulator that he had built himself at his home. I'm sure that they
could get all flight simulations that the pilot ran in the past. It would be
interesting to see if he had been practicing flying low..for example

Not sure I buy the idea of it being hijacked and kept for use at a future date, unless of course we're talking about a long time in the future, when all the fuss has died down. But even so, comandeering a 777 isn't quite the same as nicking a Ford Escort and giving it a quick respray in your mate's garage, is it ? At sea level, at maximum weight, it needs a 2.5 km runway, longer if at higher altitude. See here .....

It also needs to be refuelled ("quick Fred, take this plastic bottle down to the garage and get some jet fuel will yer ?" Errm - no). So if it IS being held somewhere, the most likely place would be an operational airport. The whole world knows it's missing, so I don't see how it could be kept hidden very easily. The most likely place would be a military installation. I'm just thinking out loud, it sounds all a bit too James Bond-esque.
