I,m new here to Avalon, wonderful people, anyway the ROMANWKT article on Lester Levenson is what brought me here in the first place. Thanks you so much ROMANWKT, I do value your input. and would like to go forward with Lester Levensons teachings.

Lester Levenson and his teachings on responsibility resonate with me. From his book Keys To Ultimate Freedom. So according to Lester everything that happens to us including our life situations, health, wealth, poverty, depression, joy on and on, everything is a product of our choice and we are responsible. This knocks the crutches out from under most of us and sets us on a new pathway one that is a direct reflection of our choices.

I read the book Romanwkt posted and I enjoyed it very much. I have to say that it makes perfect sense to me that forgiveness is the best tool we have to deal with any wrongs made by us and others in our everyday lives. I have forgiven situations big and small since and I have seen amazing results.

According to A Course in Miracles and other books on the subject, forgiveness changes the future and collapses time because whatever actions or situations arise after somebody has felt hurt would disappear after forgiveness, there's no need for the "effect" in cause and effect once the problem has been solved (or should we say "dissolved"?). Getting to the unconditional love part has proven more difficult not because it's hard to do but because it requires time to get to the point were you can really feel it or at least it has been my case.

I have seen a few videos of him but I haven't read his books however I think he's a great teacher, he knows something...

Thanks Gerald, We wont wait on others but it's my hope that others will join in with this discussion........ Here is a quote from Lester Levenson.
"Would you want one practical key for quickly reaching the Goal, I would recommend that you take full responsibility for everything that happens to you. We have lost sight of our mastership and have ~eluded ourselves into thinking we are victims in a world that controls us, that pushes us around. It isn't so! We are causing what is happening to us by giving our power, to the external world. If you want to regain your control, you must take full responsibility"

In ROMANWKT,s articles he explains very prolifically how to use Lesters technique plus ROMANWKT also added some of his own techniques which are also very useful. My idea is that if we don't take responsibility for using the processes we won't reap it's benefits. A lot of us have become seekers in which we are constantly looking for that magic pill or idea that will bring us complete enlightenment, and we want it instantly. When it doesn't happen right away off we go again looking for that next new shiny thing. This puts everything into the box of something to happen in the future instead of present time. The main point I,m trying to make is Lester Levensons technique does work but only if we stay with it. There are other pathways but none will benefit us if we don't stay with them.

Dear cloud9, I just posted a pdf for Lester Levensons book above, Keys to the Ultimate Freedom.

On a Course In Miracles when faced with forgiveness especially involving others we can easily hit a brick wall, that twinge of pain or anger or even slight resentment indicates that the other person is the mirror of ourselves and there is something in our selves we need to work on. Iv'e found that by listening to my heart, intuition, Holy spirit or whatever label we put on it is easier. Intellectually it is very hard if not impossible because Ego becomes involved....We walk this path together....The very best to you....Grizz

My argument has always been the same and stands the same at this moment, that we are totally responsible for our state, that we are separating the physical from the spiritual, we do not flow from spiritual to the physical, or vice versa, we show this up in our lives as health issues, wealth issues, manifesting issues, spiritual issues, a confused and sickly lot of wanderers proclaiming their height of spirituality, yet no better that the beggar of the streets ignorant of their full capacity TO BE.

If you are successful in your road spiritually, and live as a rat hand to mouth, you are kidding yourself, and are out of balance, its what I find here on this site.

Right! What one manifests is an exact mirror of ones spiritual state. Everyone says well if my finances were better or health better or if it wasn't for my mother in law, all things that are wrong as we see it. Then I could get my spiritual self right. But this is all completely backwards.


Lester Levenson once spoke of The Game and that resonated in me. The object of the games is first to have limitations and you win if you have more of something, money,pain,misery it doesn't matter as long as you have more. This is the game we play and the daily grind and we don't stop it because we don't want to. More are starting to realize this and with realization comes, yes, total responsibility. I am totally responsible for what happens to me and nothing happens without my choice.

I first became interested in Lester while reading a book on Spiritual Masters. I found his story so compelling that I began practicing his "releasing" techniques. I sort of modified my own. Although this technique seems unexciting and possibly mundane it has been one of the key components that has allowed me to change my life from one of misery and negativity to one of comfort, joy and sometimes bliss. I do not want to indicate that I am anywhere near enlightened but it is absolutely amazing the changes I have experienced from this simple technique. There are 2 major organizations that teach his techniques. Both of them go on and on with advanced and modified technique. I was never able to embrace them. I found all I needed in the simplest of his techniques.

I consider Lester to be one of my dearest friends.

Thanks peterpam, The other methods seem watered down and veer seeming off course,I could't use them myself. The actual method that He used on himself,[you probably already heard this] but not widely known is "Could I change this to love?" releasing everything in this manner and if he couldn't see it with love, he used "Could I let go of wanting to change this?" Both very simple methods. Lester said he had such relief and feeling of joy that he stopped sleeping and just kept doing the process.

Could I change this to love?.....changes everything from mind [ego land] to heart which is from intuition,consciousness, God, our being our self [words become interchangeable]
Could I let go of wanting to change this?..... he used when he got stuck and then went back to the first process again

I love those simple yet profound questions. They go further than my basic technique of releasing emotions and thoughts. I have always had the strong tendency to be in mind rather than heart. I will use these 2 questions.

Thanks Grizz, Lester Levenson is one of my favorite teachers. Your thread was the impetus to listen to some youtubes.

I like the thread you started here, however I'd like to put in a bit of information that is not included here. I became intensively involved in doing the work Lester taught when he was alive. I became very good friends with one of his students who studied with him for over 20 years. On his death bed he asked this person to continue his work through teaching as he had taught. This person is not teaching under the umbrella of the 'Sedona Method' (which a patented trade name), which is designed to teach, and also to harvest money from students. Here are some of my personal observations:

1. There are 'other dimensional' beings involved with this work, and at least one of these seems very wise and has a very different 'hive like' mind compared to the human mind... I have met 'it'

2. The original classes Lester taught were not developed by him personally, but by a very close friend of his.... Lester eventually took over the classes, and (in an interesting power play) edged this person out of his organization

3. I was personally very surprised to meet a business associate of Lester's one day in an unrelated event. This man told me that being a student who followed Lester's information was not something to be proud of. Lester was apparently well known in his non-teaching business field (commercial real estate) for cheating, lying and putting together real estate deals not based in truth. Some of his clients sued him because of this.

And finally, here is something really odd. But I think this could just be 'me'... so I don't know how to judge or weight this. After using his methods for years, and finding a lot of freedom I might add, I found that something was feeding on the energetic life force I generated when releasing emotions and energies. It took 6 months of concentrated effort to free myself from this thing.

So... I have an open question about Lester, especially in light of what is known about modern day wizards and witches who work directly with Jihn. My question is this..... What was really going on with Lester? And how wise is it to follow his energetic footprints (so to say). There is much here that I don't understand and I feel cautious about his energy, his teachings, his 'lineage' of student teachers.

In short... Lester is not an authority outside of myself that I chose follow, except with utmost caution.

Yet... I still do sometimes release and forgive using the questions and techniques he originally taught his students.

Cant post a long comment right now but I just popped in to say that I found Lester Levensons teachings some time ago and learned how to do the Sedona Method which is a technique of letting go of negative persistent emotions so that they are gone forever.

Since learning how to do this my quality of life has increased exponentially and continues to do so. I now understand what the great sages say about enlightenment and "bliss" and "joy" and all these fantastic things that were only just concepts in my mind before I had the pleasure of experiencing them. I no longer fear anything in life because if a fear comes up I release it and its gone forever. I welcome fear now because it is another opportunity to release and increase my happiness/consciousness/awareness/bliss.

I guess im writing this so that if anyone is on the fence about investing their time in looking deeper into this fascinating man that this might help tip the balance.

I would also like to add in relation to your comment Dawn ;

As we release all of our "karma" or stuck emotions or whatever terms we might use, we become a target for negative entities. There is nothing a negative entity hates more then a spiritually evolved loving being, so when they see someone trying to make progress by freeing themselves of their emotional bondage then they will flock to that person (not to feed off them specifically, but to impede their progress) and do all they can to influence them to stop. They will fill them with fear, doubt, anger, distrust, all of the tools of evil.

I found out through my process of releasing that I was being attacked by these entities as well and whatever I would do they would keep coming back. It took me quite some time to discover that all i needed to do was say "If there are any negative entities in me, around me, in this house or around this house I command you to leave in the name of Jesus Christ". Holy crap if that did not lift a cloud that was hanging around me. Now I'm not affected by these things anymore. Daily I say that mantra (fully believing it now because I have seen with my own eyes that it works) and I can continue to become a lighter more loving and kind person every single day. They at times succeeded in filling me with doubt and distrust and knocked me off my path quite a few times but now it has become overwhelmingly obvious what they were doing.

Releasing is freedom. Releasing Karma makes me more kind and loving. That cannot, using any kind of logic, be a bad thing. To think otherwise means we are being manipulated by something which does not have our best interests at heart.

Jack, all the information that is available points to the absolute truth that there never was a person named "Jesus Christ" and that the story in the Bible was invented by a church intent on controlling others. I never invoke any entity called 'Jesus Christ'. The very idea that you do is rather scary to me personally. I have actually had people attempt to get me to 'accept him into my heart' with a really strange and intense energy. Here's my question: Since there never was a "Jesus Christ", then who or what are you invoking?

I rather think that most of those posing as an entity called 'Jesus Christ' are in fact Jinn. Well, I suppose this comment of mine is really going to push a 'hot button' for you and I won't get into a heated discussion with you on Avalon about your beliefs. As for me, I do not invoke outside forces as aids to me in my life. I prefer to stand in my own power and not invoke the name of anything else.

One of the most sobering experiences in my life was when I died at age 37. I traveled that night through a number of realities and planes... one of the most horrible was a 'heaven' where Christians had chosen to go. In this 'heaven' there was a 'demigod' who appeared to these people as Jesus Christ. This demigod harvested their life force as his food and this fed his power over them. They had been stuck in 'heaven' for uncountable long periods of time. For me this was a true horror. I was actually shocked.

Well, the next morning I came back to a body that was cold, no heart beat, no breath. It was not time for me to leave this life completely, however, so I got back into my body and re-committed to helping raise the daughter born to me with my husband. My breathing started again and life went on.

So... Personally, I do not think that a belief in something like this is a good thing.... but I know many people are programmed from baby-hood to believe that this story is a true one and that it is a good thing to believe in something other than the God within and without yourself. I know that you have a lot of company in your belief system.
