We just had a national forest engineer come up for a consult on best repairs for the flood damage to our road from last September's flood (since there are three sections that cross national forest.) He said that they had submitted an emergency fund request of $15 million for flood damage repair, and had received $625,000 instead. So, the question is, did they get a laughably low amount because the Feds have no money, or because the Feds don't want the roads repaired?

It's getting close to time to actually start road work this spring. We have two residents on the road who are totally agreeable to doing the work. They have the equipment and the skill. They got the road fixed enough to be driven on last fall, without getting any "permits" or paperwork filed - after all, they did it while we were trapped behind canyons gouged into the road so deep that a person could not even WALK down the road. So, now one of the road association board members is demanding that we obtain bids from multiple sources before giving the job to two residents who are also on the board, because some unknown person might someday, for some unknown reason, charge the board with "conflict of interest." In the meantime, the road gets muddier and less drivable, the FEMA grants sit here unspent, cost of road base continues to escalate, and no one was assigned the task of actually getting bids because no one really has a cohesive, written down, engineer approved and therefore expensive, PLAN for road repair. And two men with backhoes who know how to do it sit and wait.

My guess is that the Feds don't want the roads repaired. They can get the banks to print trillions of dollars, remember?
My other guess is they don't want people to sort out their issues and have communities making a united effort either.
Our little online Village will pray for that road to get fixed, never mind the lack of funds.

So I am delving into astrology and the grand cross.

the moment mars hits 13.59 degrees Libra.

The Ascendant is in gemini. which gives some thinking room.
Sun in Taurus. which provides stability..

Moon in aquarius, making us think about the accompanied emotions before we act maybe.
Venus is in Pisces also reaffirming feelings of trust..

Well as an astrology layperson just on the brink of gaining some understanding in this field, I could be wayy of the mark..

mars is retrograde right? so all that fiery energy is tempered a bit.
Anyway I think nothing major will really happen....

You are doing great here. The only thing I would change is that Aquarius moon makes you think before you act.
Aquarius is about knee jerk RE-actions, and the thinking usually happens later, when they see the damage done by their over-reactions.

This grand cross has done much for people waking up to astrology and learning how it all works, and for this I am eternally grateful.
    My wish came true.
Keep on studying, everyone, first your own charts, then your parents', your kids', your spouses' your friends' charts....
and you will soon discover that the astrology cover-up has done more damage to humanity's awakening process and empowerment than even the UFO/ET cover-up.
But all this will now change. Power to the people!!!

Ulli, we have enough money to fix our road. The holdup is this board member demanding bureaucratic nonsense. I am also on the board. So are the two men willing to do the work, but they can't afford to do it without compensation, and she is demanding getting bids from unknown others before letting these two start the job. She is afraid of someone charging us with conflict of interest because the men are on the board who are willing and would be hired. There are only 35 people in this road association. The whole thing is insane.

gotta run for a bit, but I thought I'd post this before I forget.

Let' see if folks can figure out what this means....

Quote Ancient Earth might have had an extraterrestrial supply of vitamin B3 delivered by carbon-rich meteorites, according to a new analysis by NASA-funded researchers. The result supports a theory that the origin of life may have been assisted by a supply of key molecules created in space and brought to Earth by comet and meteor impacts. "It is always difficult to put a value on the connection between meteorites and the origin of life; for example, earlier work has shown that vitamin B3 could have been produced non-biologically on ancient Earth, but it's possible that an added source of vitamin B3 could have been helpful," said Karen Smith of Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pa. "Vitamin B3, also called nicotinic acid or niacin, is a precursor to NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), which is essential to metabolism and likely very ancient in origin." Smith is lead author of a paper on this research, along with co-authors from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., now available online in the journal Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta.

    http://esciencenews.com/articles/201...rth.meteorites

This is what I was talking about. the precursor for a 'return to youth', is apparently in outer space. Space is not full of it but vitamin B3 is apparently there. Any amount of it in space is a generally a big deal as space is huge and..shall we say..all pervasive. So, the anti-aging aspects of 'life' are common - in space. That the universe naturally gives and is in a space and state of a longer life than we have right now. that the universe is nothing if not efficient. Nature, or the universe is efficient.

Which brings us to a question, of our decreasing life spans and what that is all about. who or what is responsible for our decreasing lifespan, as the universe at large is saying that long human lives, in extreme health, in perfect form, is the NORM, not the exception. That the universe naturally moves toward it. That something about our life here, in the physical sense, is some form of a shifted or forced abomination, possibly.

Which means that we really may have had a time when b3 was so abundant that we did indeed live for a very ling time, in perfect youthful tone, body, and health.

Instead of this downturn we have now.

Vitamin b3, or niacin, this begets, or is the precondition required for high metabolic activity. Activity of the correct kind.

    The linked article is this:

Declining NAD+ Induces a Pseudohypoxic State Disrupting Nuclear-Mitochondrial Communication during Aging

Or, the opening statement of the scientific Medical study which was entirely successful, and not difficult to enact TOMORROW....:

Quote Ever since eukaryotes subsumed the bacterial ancestor of mitochondria, the nuclear and mitochondrial genomes have had to closely coordinate their activities, as each encode different subunits of the oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) system. Mitochondrial dysfunction is a hallmark of aging, but its causes are debated. We show that, during aging, there is a specific loss of mitochondrial, but not nuclear, encoded OXPHOS subunits. We trace the cause to an alternate PGC-1 a/b-independent pathway of nuclear-mitochondrial communication that is induced by a decline in nuclear NAD+ and the accumulation of HIF-1a under normoxic conditions, with parallels to Warburg reprogramming. Deleting SIRT1 accelerates this process, whereas raising NAD+ levels in old mice restores mitochondrial function to that of a young mouse in a SIRT1-dependent manner. Thus, a pseudohypoxic state that disrupts PGC-1 a/b independent nuclear-mitochondrial communication contributes to the decline in mitochondrial function with age, a process that is apparently reversible.
They are saying, in plain English: A change in metabolism that is easy to enact, and apparently real and correct, with no side effects, that reverses aging in the real and actual sense.

The time frames? A month or two. one-two months for going from 60 year old to 20 year old muscle and body tone. Which means life and function flow as well, as a youthful geriatric is a force to behold. That a 60 year old person with 40+ years of life learning and life scars, returned to a body with a 20 yr old's metabolism and body function...would be a force to behold in a world of 20 year olds.

Awesome Carmody...and this interesting quip (very interesting) from Encyclopedia Britannica on mitochondria:

The maternal inheritance of mtDNA has proved vital to research on human evolution and migration. Maternal transmission allows similarities inherited in generations of offspring to be traced down a single line of ancestors for many generations. Research has shown that fragments of the mitochondrial genome carried by all humans alive today can be traced to a single woman ancestor living an estimated 150,000 to 200,000 years ago. Scientists suspect that this woman lived among other women but that the process of genetic drift (chance fluctuations in gene frequency that affect the genetic constitution of small populations) caused her mtDNA to randomly supersede that of other women as the population evolved. Variations in mtDNA inherited by subsequent generations of humans have helped researchers decipher the geographical origins, as well as the chronological migrations of different human populations. For example, studies of the mitochondrial genome indicate that humans migrating from Asia to the Americas 30,000 years ago may have been stranded on Beringia, a vast area that included a land bridge in the present-day Bering Strait, for as long as 15,000 years before arriving in the Americas.

That a 60 year old person with 40+ years of life learning and life scars, returned to a body with a 20 yr old's metabolism and body function...would be a force to behold in a world of 20 year olds.

...and the world changes with Godspeed : )

Grateful to be back to work for family and coming back strong from my accidents in CA and MA from seizures in December last year and February this year. All is ok and so glad I found out I had been having them(mild) all my life and they simply kicked in strong from that 3000 mile drive with no sleep to the west and age too.

This is at my Sister and Brother-in-law's where I built the garage a couple years ago that I had shared pictures Here and Now... You can see it in the background.

I am making the back screen porch living space and adding an 8' by 11' section and will be putting a deck off of it facing east in the backyard. I will be doing all the carpentry finish inside also.

My Sister has been wanting to stretch the kitchen and enlarge the main back entry for years because Guests always congregate in that area and Her smaller kitchen when She has gatherings. She is using Her own retirement money : )
    Love, Love, Love !!!

Hi Grip...Good Day to You and Yours : )

Yes...it is a temp, I will be putting an lvl beam there for support of the original porch rafters and open up that section cleanly. That beam section comes down a bit lower than the new ceiling in the addition(trying to watch the cost and not tear all the existing work apart)...I will be wrapping it with finish trim and it will be a bit above door height.

I have since gotten the new ceiling and roofline done on the addition and had to get it done expediently and make it weathertight with felt as I have to head to the Cape for a couple days. That is why You also see the full headers at the new walls coming in...my Sister will be positioning the new windows(3 1/2' by 5 1/2') under by feel...so giving Her good options later while I get done what needs to get done. Thanks for the inquire : )

I'll share a few more pics as She takes them in the process.

    .......
Beautiful Wingmakers video and music to start my day, thanks Ulli : )

Good morning. Things are weird this week. They just are. I'm disconnected, but no complaints about that. I would rather be disconnected somewhat than in the middle feeling like everything is a big drama. One day all of this will be past tense, and I guess one thing I will have gained is more experience. More experience will mean more compassion, more empathy for what others are going through. Not sure I need more of that, but I'm trying to focus on the positive.

I hope my plans to go for a drive this weekend work out. There is something solid about connecting, even when everything is fluid.

    Much Love,

I've done it again. I thought this week was "next" week. Showed up for an appointment a whole week early. Sent out a shipment a week too soon.
A few years ago, I picked up some yogurt and saw the thing's expiration was a whole year prior. Picked up another package, and it was also expired the previous year. I fumbled for about two three minutes, and it dawned on me what year it was.
There was also a time when I went on for months thinking I was a year older than I actually was.
I'm not usually absent minded, but I have occasional time lapses like that. I am usually very punctual. I also get the feeling of déjà vu often.
Is it my mind playing tricks on me? Or are those brief moments of time lapse a peek onto beyond the matrix?

A full cup has to be emptied before it can begin to contain new things.

This means teardown, before addition of the new.

They generally happen at the same time.

When people think they are going nuts, that is the natural process of teardown so the new can get in.

Or, "insanity" is part of the process of becoming more sane, more informed, more knowledgeable.

Now I had already been ^^^up^^^tuned with my happenings on that Nipmuc Indian Hill in early 2007,

Baraka "is an ancient Sufi word, it means happiness or luck, a smell, a breath and even the essence of life, from which the evolution springs. Baraka is also a spiritual power, a gift of God's consent. Baraka is what temples, monasteries, pilgrimage and sacred places produce and because of which people travel to these places and what they take from them. It is love: the more of it is taken by the pilgrim, the more of it is available. The bigger is demand for this spiritual commodity, the bigger is the offer. Baraka is what spiritual seakers look for and which dancing dervishes reach. Baraka is also a blessing, a touch of the divine.

Baraka is somewhat spiritual, imaginary, but not unreal field of information about the feasibility and ability of man to attune to something that transcend him by far. It is divine grace, cosmic love and cosmic energy."
