The concept of Quetzalcoatl bears stunning resemblance to that of Cosmic Mahapurusha and Kalachakra of Vedic and Buddhist heritage ,
even if they developed continents apart in this particular period of history in unique forms of cosmology , calendar and anthropomorphic principle they're essentially very similar .

Rather than assuming coincidence, I assume design and intention in the similarities of teaching figures among the indigenous cultures. The Maya describe Quetzalcoatl as tall, blond, and blue-eyed. I assume the "tall blond" aliens in this instance. Of course, we all know what ass-u-me spells, lol.
