According to Shirley MacLaine on the Whitley Streiber radio show, she was told ANOTHER John Mack was also killed by a car in London that day too.
Starts at about the 3-minute mark.
People in suits send people in uniforms to kill innocent people.

I like Whitley Strieber he's another variation of Steven King in many ways... haha... I never connected for the longest time he was the author of "The Hunger"... He creates good media... enjoying the interview... And yes the one thing one can say definitively... that whole affair doesn't add up... not random...

He could have changed the world... what a tragic waste...

John Mack - A Major Motion Picture [Indiegogo]
    http://realitysandwich.com/219128/jo...ure-indiegogo/

Quote When Harvard psychiatry professor, Pulitzer Prize-winning author, DR. JOHN MACK was asked to study people who claimed to be ABDUCTED BY ALIENS, he was reluctant. He was a DOCTOR, a man of SCIENCE.

But these people were DESPERATE for help and he became CURIOUS what the underlying psychiatric syndrome might be. Using everything in his psychiatric arsenal, Dr. Mack studied over 200 abductees. He found that people from ALL OVER THE WORLD - who had never met each other – were telling the exact same ABDUCTION stories.

John Mack's findings were SHOCKING to him and forced him to QUESTION his most deeply rooted beliefs. “These people are NOT LYING and are NOT CRAZY. I know mental illness and this is not mental illness,” he said.

    …..

We, at MakeMagic Productions, are truly honored that the Mack family has granted us the rights to bring John Mack's incredible true story to the big screen. We are PASSIONATE believers that John Mack's story is SPECIAL and will make a POWERFUL film, with UNIVERSAL APPEAL.

Dr John Mack on Winnie Oprah TV show with group of abductees .

It's people like John Mack we are now missing in science , those who would embrace both professional erudition , inquisitive spirit and humane interest when approaching the subject and people .
This is what is currently missing - research on based on pure academic and humanitarian grounds,
free of the conspiracy theories , new age religious and even 'alien' cults , away from compulsory exposure to media and constant pressure from society .

"These people are not lying, and they're not crazy". So you deal with it. Simple intellectual honesty.

Well, maybe they are actually an aspect of US. Conscious awareness is only a portion of our very own consciousness. We do not even know how "we" work.

Quote "The current physical models of the Universe require 11 dimensions, 11 integrated variables to describe, and that's physical models of the Universe. If we then turn our attention to mind and realize that having no definition of what mind is, why is there no mys uh, it is not surprising that it is a mystery in the fact that we have no definition of what the UFO is? The mind is present at hand in every conscious moment. It has been our constant companion for 50,000 years and we haven't a clue as to what it is.

So, therefore a manifestation of the "other" the superego or the extraterrestrial like the UFO. I always hark back to the words of JDS Haldane, the great British enzyme-ologist, who said: "reality is not only stranger than we suppose. It may be stranger than we CAN suppose".

(What is the function. Why are UFOs effecting us)

...The so-called post modern approach is to ask the question, "Not what is the UFO, but, what is doing to us?....

What the UfOs are doing to us, to global society, is they are eroding faith in "science" by casting directly in the path of science, a kind of gauntlet, challenge:"crack this", almost as though the cosmic giggle had shown up at the bachelor party of science to spoil the bash. Great man , humble soul , great lecture .. I just have that eerie feeling that he's more respected now for not being with us ( in human terms ) by some of his admirers .
Rule of thumb maybe , or the atmosphere of weirdness .

He so much reminds me in the talk of some of 'typical' reactions I've met with in the academic society , from people who consider themselves 'knowledgeable' and highly educated , reactions that are sort of primitive .. instinctive ,
as psychiatrist he had to understand those pretty well ,
fear and denial and pretence that 'I don't hear you' , angry outbursts , all kind of strange reactions I've met ( and I know others too ) from seemingly civilised people .

The combination of academic skills and good heart - beyond average, empathy , is rare in our world it seems though , so badly needed .

I really wish he would have inspired generation of his students and colleagues , or at least some of them , to follow this line of research by example .

Coincidentally .. at the time of this congress , lecture .. March 2002 .. I was still in Bodhgaya ( people who know me also know what I'm referring to ) . Not only thousands of miles away physically but also , sans travel document that time and no email address /computer connection , at all.

It seems to suggest .. that there are things unveiling simultaneously , in the 'higher plan' , the long time table of ET-Human matters, that we have no control of, often very little idea about - even if we find ourselves mentally and meaningfully connected ..to the greater purpose of things .. whether we like it or not .
