Ah, yes Dan, the art of making money.....

Actually, it is easier than it looks in this clip.

    All it needs is motivation.
Nope, I was so immersed in the post (so excited to upload again the Eric Master video) that i forget the football match .... i began to watch it around 20 minutes later. The tennis scores went to my mind while i was replaying your post.
    Sometimes you're a gunfighter or a first-level tennis player.

    He,hee... good replay. Ulli-Dan: 6/4 - 6/7 - 6/2
    Hugs!
and let me guess....you are right now watching Spain against Holland, no doubt.
No wonder you have scores on your mind.

    WIND
Thank you, Ulli. I'm still thinking about that "flickering lights" phenomenon... I'm wondering if my aura is affecting those electronics or if it's my celestial guardians which seem to visit me every now and then, but I have read that many people seem to break lamps when their emotions are "high" like when they are feeling angry? I don't often feel angry, but I do have a fiery temper which seems to surface every now and then.

I used to have a problem with supressed emotions and to a certain point I still do. I have learned to let go and release negative emotions like anxiety and fear, but it seems that still I need to find a better way to channel those emotions. I wonder if that is related to the phenomenon which seems to occur around me, I don't want to destroy things with my energy, I want to create and heal!

Hi WIND, i have a problem similar to you. I have negative thoughts about 4 or 5 am. I am like a croquette frying on the bed.
    Hugs, WIND.
Maybe it would help to go and stand in the garden then. Barefoot in the grass, to ground energy. It works for me.
Negative thoughts often arise when Im feeling bad, or conflicted. And that is remedied by grounding.
If you don't have a garden fill a cat litter box with soil, and plant some wheatgrass seeds... Then stand in that.
    Just a guess.

What is this ball thing that people seem to be speaking of? Is it of any importance? Or is it just another tool in the toolbox of a given control matrix? One of those things I stay completely away from, and do not give energies to, as..in it's commercialized form...it's corruption is complete?

Some of you know my opinion of 'professional' sport. That I would not spend even one second on any of it, that I give it nothing. IMO, for all the right reasons.

That it is a giant divisional, distracting, 'make permanent war-mindedness in and of people' maintenance project, to make sure that this aspect of the animal in humanity does not dissipate. To keep the minds away from seeking or knowing how to understand peace and co-operation. That they know co-operation, but only in the form of banding together for war and division, separateness from 'other', in the area of organized confrontational violence. That the imprint of being in a state of war and stressing of that nature, remains in the DNA of humans. That the downturn of a held state of lower mindedness - remains.

It may have even begun as a method of preventing war. But over time, it would have developed as a tool. A useful lever. A useful control mechanism, one that now, IMO - has to go.

IMO: See it for what it is.

Pardon me, I'm being a bit direct today.

There was a movie called Rollerball, which described exactly what it all has become...
And when I was sitting in the cinema in London watching it I knew that it was prophetic.
Although at the time there was still uncertainty between world communism or a corporate superstate...

In any case, both ideologies would make use of team sports as their preferred method of distraction.

    Rollerball:

"In the year 2018, Jonathan E is a superstar of a sport called Rollerball, which is a combination of rugby, roller derby, hockey and motorcycle racing. Rollerball is a sport run by the Energy Corporation, one of many such conglomerates running the planet in a time when countries and individual governments are obsolete. The corporations provide the population with everything that they need--food, a crime-free environment, mood-altering drugs--as long as they don't rock the boat and don't ask too many questions. When Jonathan, the world's greatest Rollerball player, becomes too popular with the fans, the Energy Corporation, led by the sinister Bartholemew, tries to convince Jonathan to retire. Failing that, the company raises the stakes, abolishing the rules of the already dangerous sport in an effort to destroy Jonathan and his immense fan base..."

I have immersed myself in the whole "frenzy" of World Cup games the past 2 or 3 times, just to be part of an event all my friends were into. I admit I had fun. But it was the company more than the game. I can't really get what the fun is of watching a bunch of people chasing a ball. I don't find it fun. I have wondered why my brain was wired differently.

Carmody, we’ve had this discussion before, about other matters. I have a different perspective on spending one’s energies on things contaminated by commercialization. There is very little if anything on this planet that is spared from the ravages of “commercialization”, used as a blanket term. The idea of a matrix is even more comprehensive than that. What we are bringing to this is the odd grain of sand in the machine (in English the tiny spanner in the works). If these grains of sand are going to do their job, they have to face the grinding gears until they grind no more rather than worry about their personal integrity. Just as there is no space that is spared, there should be no space that is abandoned. In the case at issue, if, for instance, commercialization means that Brazil have to win the World Cup regardless of their performance on the field, then the energy brought in by foreign bodies might contribute towards bringing the spotlight on Brazil off the pitch as the B of BRICS. An audience of several billion is a useful audience to have witness something good instead of something evil. And on the pitch is an ideal venue for crazy things to happen capable of overcoming blatant match-fixing. There was an example last night, when Spain, who went through the entire competition as the eventual winners last time around by conceding just two goals, let in five in just over forty-five minutes – totally unprecedented. No amount of corruption by officials can stop the impetus of a squad of well-trained players in the zone, when it is created by the population at large.

It could well be that the several billion have disconnected from the commercialization and are putting their energies, come what may, behind a different from the planned outcome. Soccer is a sport where things have gone so far too far that many have woken up to this aspect of the matrix and are beginning to cry out for something different. It would be funny, and in a way it makes sense, if this or something like it were where a breakthrough was made, after decades of effort by ufologists, free energy promoters and whoever, with their much smaller audiences. But we don’t need a breakthrough: just another step in the right direction.

There's the original 1975, and 2002, both are available at iTunes. See trailers below. A full movie 2002 version is here: Rollerball. 2002 is rated 1.5 out of 5. It's very different from the original from the little I watched. (surprise, surprise)

Default Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?

Extending my previous post into another area – the media – the question becomes do I or do I not engage with the mainstream media? What has happened to topple or at least seriously threaten the MSM is the growth of reader/listener/watcher threads with the gradual increasing influence of dissenting voices. People have learnt to become themselves more critical and discerning, notably through the growth of alternative media, meaning not just conspiracy sites or blogs from people who have made a name for themselves. Every anonymous poster is contributing to this effort. While it is basically impossible to ignore the mainstream altogether, as being perhaps at one end of this media continuum at the other end of which one is operating, those who are actively engaging with it are contributing a great deal to changing it for the better. In other words, the media with the highest profile are tasting government by the grassroots. They will either adjust or die, we shall see.

The world of soccer is slightly different in that the personal practical experience at the grassroots level has always been present and feeding the system. It has always been the sport of the masses, because all you need is a battered football to kick around, sometimes even less (an old tennis ball or even a rag doll). It is a game heavily subsidized at the lowest level, attracting the underprivileged. Kids get kitted out for free, apart maybe from secondhand boots, and many will be at their smartest in their team’s colours. Their relationship to what they witness at the World Cup is not so much about hero worship but, more interestingly, one of discovering the connection between magic and empirical science. They see technical feats which they then try to replicate for themselves. When you have the proverbial hundred monkeys all willingly putting in the 10,000 hours into the one thing that they enjoy, above things like school, consumerism, and even petty crime, you find morphic resonance at work with a vengeance – gradually everyone is doing magical things with a football. The Brazilian team used to be revered for the skill they alone showed and which, as the poorest among the poor, they developed by playing barefoot in the street; not any more: all the others now have similar skills levels. This is the irrepressible side of sport that dismissive phrases like ‘bread and circuses’, an oligarch’s expression that only became widespread when taken over as the mantra of the alternative community. What is being reinjected into sport is the Fun. Similarly, a whole range of new funboarding sports has risen on water, land and snow in place of the conventional aristocratic disciplines like skiing, water-skiing and skating. These were not originally aristocratic sports, but are simply for most people too expensive, in terms of facilities and equipment.

I find the notion of the sheeple content with bread and circuses highly objectionable – to say so is to embrace the elitist rhetoric, but does not make it so. Why is there so much fuss over chasing after a ball? Because that ball is one of the few sources of enjoyment left to people. It symbolizes a degree of freedom, and control of one’s destiny. When played clumsily, it behaves capriciously, like the ancient gods. When skills are developed, it can be made to do things that produce many positive feelings of joy, pleasure, satisfaction, emulation, admiration etc. And in collective sports like soccer, it becomes the moving focal point of a kind of conscious astrological ballet played out together. The ball’s trajectory marks the energy flows between players who are themselves preferably moving into space at appropriate angles to each other. If you don’t like your Pluto’s position and slowness, you are stuck with it; but if your winger is slow and out of position, you can yell at him and hopefully next time he will do better. And if you don’t like your opponents’ transitions, you can always counter them. A successful move is one where a whole chart gradually clicks into place over the short time it takes to build up.

With the grassroots reaching new levels of skill, and knowing the difference between the creativity they enjoy and the destructive behaviour that commercialization inevitably brings, the top end of the game will not die, it will adjust. There will always be a top end of some kind, some being more gifted than others; but the tip is getting blunter. I think that is a positive direction to be encouraged and a worthy focus of our energy at a time when Brazil is in the limelight, Brazil with no bread and the circus on life support (a relatively ordinary team). As to the how this may unfold, I have no idea, but no matter.

    Araucaria, what an analysis!

My motivation not to watch or follow is this: because the poor people of Brasil with tears in their eyes asked us not to.

    And that is why.

PS: you forgot equestrian sports in the list of rich people sports . And it is really really a pity because everyone should benefit from the great loving bond that can be built with a horse.

When skills are developed, it can be made to do things that produce many positive feelings
This is just it, araucaria. The positive side of football, the fun, and the hope it gives to players as they develop their skills...this is not what is being objected to.
It is the hijacking of this fun, by the dark side. As they hijack talented musicians and other talented artists, and then turn them into freak shows.
And this is done so gradually, always appealing to people's lowest instincts, that no one notices when the line of decency has been crossed. Just as no one notices when an alcoholic becomes an alcoholic. There is a fine line here

Hi WIND, i have a problem similar to you. I have negative thoughts about 4 or 5 am. I am like a croquette frying on the bed.
    Hugs, WIND.
Hola Dan and gracias, good to know that I'm not alone with my problem! I'm not even sure that those negative emotions are always mine, I'm like an antenna picking all the information around me, sometimes it tends to be highly annoying. I definitely should ground myself more often, but lately it has been almost impossible because it has been somewhat cold and rainy! Sunny days, I am waiting for you! Perhaps a grounding mattress or a carpet could also suffice. I sometimes feel similar to Tesla...

Thanks, Dianna, and I love you, too.
I had a bit of a tearful day. My husband lost his Dad recently and so he was really grieving today,
which led me to revive memories of my own Dad.
Thinking of all those who are grieving right now. So thank you for this hug...
couldn't have come at a better time.

Hi all, long time no post from me though I still lurk regularly as the energy signature of this thread is always nourishing and inspiring... so, many thanks to all participants herein.

I have been having dreams quite regularly that occur underwater in which I have no trouble breathing. In a recent one the water was somewhat murky and I detected a massive shape coming towards me out of the haze. I 'knew' there was some sort of safety zone just behind me so I took a step or 2 back towards it in awe of the size of what was approaching. As It emerged into sight I realised it was a humpback whale and it stopped and hovered directly in front of me. I placed my forehead in contact with the very tip of its 'chin' and stayed in communion for some time... that is all I remember.

I had started to make this animation a year or 2 ago and this dream inspired me to finish it.

Friends returning from a cetacean vacation.

Great to See You, Markoid : )

Awesome dream sharing and video of joy.......
I too had a wonderful close encounter with a 'humpback' of the mini-version that came up my arm and kissed me on the cheek as I awoke during dreams while I was vibrating rather high in January 2007. Great memory recall all because of You : )
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You : )

Just a few hours ago I was seriously debating with myself whether to post this.
    Then I thought "Nah!"
Too much adolescent silliness from Imgur.

Anyway, I went to sleep with humpback whales on my mind ...woke up a 4AM, and there was Markoid's dream
