Keith Vaz criticises Home Office for losing sex abuse files

    short vids on link....http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-28182373

Files which may be linked to child abuse claims seem to have been lost "on an
industrial scale" at the Home Office, the chairman of the Commons home affairs
    select committee has said.

The Home Office has said its own review last year found that 114 potentially
relevant files could not be located.

Keith Vaz MP said it was "a huge surprise" that so much potential evidence had
    gone missing.

Lord Tebbit said he hoped any review would be conducted quickly.

Number 10 has rejected calls for an over-arching public inquiry into historical child
    abuse claims.

However, a new review, to be carried out by a senior legal figure from outside
Whitehall, will look into a Home Office review last year of claims made to it in the
1980s and 1990s of organised child sex abuse.

    Police 'assessing information'

The Home Office's 2013 review found 527 potentially relevant files which it had
kept, but a further 114 were missing, destroyed or "not found", according to the
Home Office's most senior civil servant Mark Sedwill.

Among the files found, there were 13 pieces of information about alleged child
abuse - nine of which were known or had been reported to the police, including four
cases involving Home Office staff, he said in a letter to Mr Vaz.

The four other items, which had not been previously disclosed, "have now been"
    passed to police, he said.

The Metropolitan Police declined to comment on the Home Office files but said it
was "assessing information" as part of Operation Fairbank - which was set up in
2012 after Labour MP Tom Watson made claims about a "powerful paedophile ring"
linked to a previous prime minister's "senior adviser" and Parliament.

Sexual abuse of children in state care ‘endemic’ in Victoria

Leaked documents reveal 98 alleged rapes, 96 reports of indecent assault and 73
alleged incidents of exploitation over a year

residential care homes. Photograph: Lukas Coch/AAP Image

Sexual abuse in Victoria’s out-of-home care system has been described
as “endemic” after leaked documents revealed hundreds of reports of alleged rape,
indecent assault and exploitation of minors in the year to March.

Internal documents reveal a total of 342 critical incidents of a sexual nature
reported in the state’s child protection system, which houses children who are
removed from their parents due to significant risk of harm.

The total includes 98 alleged rapes, 96 reports of indecent sexual assault and 73
alleged incidents of sexual exploitation, where children are abused in exchange for
cash or other gifts, the ABC reported.

Nearly three-quarters of the reported incidents took place in residential care
homes, where about 500 children are currently placed. The small units usually
house about four children each, with staff rostered on eight-hour shifts, including
    just one overnight.

Sandie de Wolf, the chief of children’s charity Berry Street, said the reports of
abuse were an “indictment on the system”.

“Children are not removed from their families unless there’s very significant harm,
so physical, sexual or emotional abuse, or severe family violence. So they've
already been harmed by the adults who should have protected them,” she said.

She said the system was “under enormous pressure” from increasing numbers of
children being removed from their parents, coupled with a “crisis” of decreasing
numbers of foster carers. The result was children under 12 being placed in
residential care against the Victorian government’s own guidelines.

Funding for the department of human services was also capped, de Wolf said, so
the system was having to cater for more children without a commensurate bump in
    resources.

An auditor general’s report in March found the residential care system had
been “operating over capacity since at least 2008”.

“The residential care system is unable to respond to the level of demand and
growing complexity of children’s needs,” the report found. “This puts at risk efforts
to protect the child from harm, protect their rights and promote their development.”

The leaked statistics follow earlier reports that organised gangs of men were
preying on children in state care, highlighted by the case of 22-year-old Emran
Dad, a Shepparton man who police alleged traded sex for cash and cigarettes with
children as young as 13. He pled guilty in 2012 and was jailed for three years.

The extent of abuse within the system was reflected in the case of two siblings,
both aged under 10, who were placed in state care in 2011 after reports they were
being physically abused in their home.

The girl was sexually assaulted by two other children on numerous occasions, and
has since tried to take her own life. Her brother was also alleged raped by an older boy.

The Victorian community services minister, Mary Wooldridge, said that cases of
abuse and neglect “are always distressing”, but said that for some
children, “residential care is the best option”.

“Children who come into the care of the state have experienced extreme trauma
and often cannot be housed with extended family or foster families because of their
complex and difficult behaviours,” she said.

The opposition spokeswoman for children and community services, Jenny Mikakos,
said the figures were “absolutely shocking”. “From what I'm hearing, sexual
exploitation appears to have become endemic in about the last two years,” she said.

Victoria’s children and young people commissioner, Bernie Geary, said he was
aware of the statistics and was in the process of reviewing the issues and
circumstances of sexual assault in residential care, with a report to parliament due
    in October.

“When we’re in a situation where we want to take kids away from harm, we tend to
go for shelter first,” Geary said. “But shelter is only one part of nurturing, so we
need to ensure that a young person is both nurtured and sheltered, and I’m
conducting my review with that in mind.”

I'm a little bit wary of this sudden enthusiasm to get to the bottom of this scandal.

Looks like they're only going to toss us another couple of out of date has-beens, heavily watered down.

Abuse is too mild a term here, with the 30,000 missing children per year in mind, I think we could be looking at more like Occult Ritual Sacrifices.

I mean, who else could cover up such a huge amount of disappearances ?

I agree most of this is a smoke screen from the real high powered leaders
of society , royalty and government. There is all sorts of abuse going on,
and if we can stop that it will be a great step toward enlightened humanity.

Since I started this thread reporting the Saville exposure, I'll keep posting the
various articles and avenues these investigations are exposing.

Home Secretary Theresa May announces child abuse reviews4 hours ago

Home Secretary Theresa May has appointed the head of the NSPCC, Peter Wanless,
to lead an investigation into the handling of documents relating to claims of a
paedophile ring at Westminster in the 1980s.

Addressing MPs, she said: "With allegations as serious as these, the public needs to
have complete confidence in the integrity of the investigation's findings."

The home secretary also announced a wide-ranging, Hillsborough-style inquiry into
historic child sex abuse claims, "to consider whether public bodies and other non-
state institutions have taken seriously their duty of care to protect children".

David Cameron: Abuse inquiry will leave 'no stone unturned'8 hours ago

An inquiry into historical child sex abuse allegations will "leave no stone unturned",
    David Cameron has said.

The Prime Minister said the probe into how institutions, including the NHS, the BBC
and the government handled claims of wrongdoing against children was "vital" to
    find out the truth.

He added: "It's important the police feel they can go wherever the evidence leads."

Child abuse investigationsHere are the main ongoing investigations and inquiries
into historical abuse allegations in institutions around the UK.

    Child abuse inquiries and investigations
    Independent inquiry

The Government announced on 7 July 2014 an independent inquiry to investigate
the way public bodies handled child sex abuse claims. It is not expected to report
    before the 2015 general election.

    Home Office review

NSPCC chief executive Peter Wanless is to lead a review into Home Office handling
of historical child sex abuse allegations and the way police and prosecutors dealt
with any information given to them. This follows a call from Labour MP Simon
Danczuk to explain why written allegations about powerful paedophiles - presented
in the 1980s to Leon Brittan when he was home secretary - have since
disappeared. A Home Office review last year of allegations concerning child abuse
from 1979-99 resulted in four files, not previously disclosed, being passed to police.
But the review found no evidence of specific allegations of abuse by prominent
    public figures.

    Cyril Smith/Rochdale

Two investigations - by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and Rochdale Council. On
7 July 2014, GMP said it was considering widening its inquiry into claims of a cover-
up involving paedophile abuse at Knowl View School, Rochdale, in the 1980s and
1990s. It said Rochdale Council had agreed to suspend its own inquiry while it
    considered how to proceed.

    Savile NHS inquiry

It found Jimmy Savile sexually assaulted victims aged five to 75 between 1962 and
2009 in 28 hospitals, including Broadmoor and Leeds General Infirmary. Reports at
several other hospitals, including Stoke Mandeville, have been delayed.

    Dept for Education

Headed by human rights lawyer Lucy Scott-Moncrieff to look at allegations Savile
abused children in schools and children's homes, from the 1960s to 1980s. Aims to
    report summer 2014.

    Savile BBC inquiry

Dame Janet Smith is investigating whether culture and practice at the BBC enabled
Savile to carry out abuse of children unchecked - due to report summer 2014.

    Operation Yewtree

Police investigation into Savile and others. An investigation by the Metropolitan
Police and NSPCC reported in January 2013 on allegations against Savile. Cases
which emerged as a result of investigations into Savile, but were unconnected to
him, included Max Clifford and Rolf Harris. Investigations into other suspects are
    continuing.

    Operation Fairbank/

    Fernbridge/Cayacos

Operation Fairbank was a "scoping exercise" by the Met Police to establish whether
there was sufficient evidence for a formal inquiry. Operation Fernbridge was
subsequently launched in Feb 2013 to investigate allegations about a paedophile
network linked to Parliament and Number 10 centred on Elm Guest House in south-
west London. Operation Cayacos is investigating allegations of a paedophile ring
linked to convicted paedophile Peter Righton.

    Pallial inquiry

Investigating allegations of historical abuse between 1953-95 at children's homes in
North Wales. Also Mrs Justice Macur appointed by PM to review the 2000
Waterhouse inquiry into North Wales abuse dating back to the 1970s.

    Historical Institutional Abuse

    (Northern Ireland)

Set up to establish if there were systemic failings by institutions or the state in their
duties towards children in their care between 1922-95.

    Operation Garford, Suffolk

Investigating historical abuse allegations centred on Kesgrave Hall School in the
1980s and '90s. Results of the original investigation were reviewed but new
allegations have since been brought involving two more schools which are being
    investigated.

    Jersey care inquiry

Investigating historical abuse claims in Jersey's care system from 1960 to present
    day, begins 22 July.

Timeline: 1980s child abuse allegationsThe apparent disappearance of files alleging
paedophilia linked to institutions in the 1980s has led to allegations of an
    establishment cover-up.

What were the key events that led to Prime Minister David Cameron promising to
get to the truth of those claims?

Geoffrey Dickens with Margaret Thatcher Geoffrey Dickens was a long-standing
    campaigner against child abuse

1982: The Home Office adopts the "Grigg System" for its files. Under the system,
files were reviewed after five years to decide whether or not they should be
    destroyed

August 1983: Anti-paedophilia campaigning MP Geoffrey Dickens says he plans to
expose eight prominent figures, telling the Daily Express: "I've got eight names of
big people, really important names, public figures. And I am going to expose them
    in Parliament."

November 1983 and January 1984: The Home Office receives information from Mr
Dickens about alleged child abuse. The then Home Secretary Leon Brittan says he
subsequently passed a "bundle of papers" to his officials.

March 1984: The Director of Public Prosecutions tells Mr Dickens two of the letters
he forwarded to the Home Office "could form the basis for enquiries by the police"
and they are "now being passed to the appropriate authorities".

March 1987: Mr Dickens thanks the Home Office for "following up the cases that I
    keep sending to it".

    May 1995: Mr Dickens dies.

Tom Watson Tom Watson MP told the Commons of claims of a powerful paedophile
    network

October 2012: Labour MP Tom Watson claims in Prime Ministers' Questions there
is "clear intelligence suggesting a powerful paedophile network linked to Parliament
    and Number 10".

Late 2012: Abuse allegations against the late Liberal MP Cyril Smith are aired in
Parliament. Greater Manchester Police say he should have been prosecuted. Police
confirm they are investigating abuse claims surrounding the former Elm Guest
    House in Barnes, south-west London.

February 2013: The most senior Home Office civil servant commissions an
independent review of more than 746,000 files from 1979 to 1999 to identify any
information received about organised child sex abuse.

March 2013: According to the Independent, when he is contacted about Mr Dickens'
allegations, Lord Brittan tells the newspaper he has "no recollection of these matters".

August 2013: The Home Office publishes a summary of its review online,
confirming that copies of Mr Dickens' files "have not been retained". It finds that

Lord Brittan acted appropriately in dealing with the documents.

Lord Brittan Lord Brittan says he passed on all relevant papers to his officials to check

1 July 2014: Labour MP Simon Danczuk calls on Lord Brittan to say what he knew
    about Mr Dickens' dossier

2 July 2014: Lord Brittan releases a statement saying he passed the papers to his
    officials to examine.

Later that day: Lord Brittan issues a further statement clarifying that while
he "could not recall" what further action was taken, the information in the Home
Office's 2013 review "shows that appropriate action and follow-up happened."

4 July 2014: Prime Minister David Cameron orders Home Office permanent
secretary, Mark Sedwill, to look again at the handling of the allegations.

7 July 2014: Lord Brittan issues another statement dismissing claims he did not act
properly on the allegations put to him by Mr Dickens as "completely without foundation".

7 July 2014: David Cameron pledges to get to the truth of historical child sex abuse
claims, saying there would be "no stone unturned to find out... about what
    happened".

Later that day: Greater Manchester Police said it was considering widening its
investigation into allegations of a cover-up involving paedophile abuse at Knowl
View residential school in Rochdale in the 1980s and 1990s.

It said Rochdale Council had agreed to suspend its own inquiry while it considered
    how to proceed.

The apparent disappearance of files documenting claims of paedophilia linked to
institutions and powerful figures in the 1980s has sparked allegations of an
    establishment cover-up.

In response, Home Secretary Theresa May has announced a wide-ranging
Hillsborough-style inquiry into how historical child sexual abuse claims were dealt
    with by public bodies.

Why has this issue come up now?

Last week Labour MP Simon Danczuk called on Leon Brittan to say what he knew
about a dossier of paedophile allegations passed to him when he was home
secretary in the 1980s. The files were given to Lord Brittan by the late MP Geoffrey
    Dickens.

The MP's son has said they contained "explosive" allegations about powerful
figures. But one-time Conservative minister and friend of Lord Brittan, David Mellor,
has warned against attempts to "smear" the former home secretary with "a lot of
exaggerated nonsense" about the files' contents.

Leon Brittan Leon Brittan was home secretary under Margaret Thatcher
    What happened to the files?

Lord Brittan says he received a "substantial bundle of papers" from Mr Dickens and
asked his Home Office officials to report back to him if "action needed to be taken".
Lord Brittan says any suggestion he acted inappropriately is "wholly without
    foundation".

After Labour MP Tom Watson made allegations of a link between abuse
and "Parliament and Number 10", the Home Office carried out a review of hundreds
of thousands of files to identify information about organised child abuse. The
review, covering the years 1979 - 1999, found 527 potentially relevant files the
department had kept and a further 114 that were either missing, destroyed or "not found".

The department's top official Mark Sedwill says the Home Office adopted the Grigg
filing system in 1982 which saw records reviewed after five years to decide whether
they should be destroyed, reviewed or retained.

Mr Sedwill said the 2013 review "found no evidence of the inappropriate removal or
destruction of material within the scope of his inquiry".

Norman Tebbit Former minister Lord Tebbit says there may have been a political
    cover-up in the 1980s

What did the Dickens files allege?

Press reports from the era claimed one file concerned a civil servant and that
another one related to an employee of Buckingham Palace. The papers also
contained allegations concerning the Paedophile Information Exchange, a group
that campaigned to make sex between adults and children legal.

In an interview with the Daily Express in 1983, Mr Dickens said he had eight names
of "really important, public figures" he was going to expose.

But former minister David Mellor has played down what he called the "Dickens
dossier", saying: "It was a good publicity thing for him but there wasn't much
substance behind it." Mr Mellor says the 114 unaccounted for Home Office
files "have nothing to do with the Geoffrey Dickens case".

    Who was Geoffrey Dickens?

The heavyweight boxer turned Conservative MP led a campaign to outlaw
membership of the Paedophile Information Exchange. His campaign saw him name
a senior figure as a member of PIE in 1981 using parliamentary privilege. The
papers he passed to Lord Brittan as part of his campaign against child abuse were
set to "blow the lid off" the lives of powerful and famous paedophiles, his son has
    claimed.

The MP represented Huddersfield West between 1979 and 1983 and then
Littleborough and Saddleworth until his death in 1995.

Geoffrey Dickens The allegations can be traced back to a dossier complied by
campaigning MP Geoffrey Dickens How much of this is being investigated?

The Metropolitan Police's Operation Fernbridge is investigating allegations of child
sexual abuse in the late 1970s and 1980s at the former Elm Guest House in Barnes,
south-west London, the scene of alleged parties involving MPs and other members
    of the establishment.

Greater Manchester Police have been investigating allegations of abuse by the late
MP Cyril Smith at Knowl View, a Rochdale children's home which closed in 1994.
Officers have also been looking at claims the authorities covered this up. It is now
considering widening its investigations. Rochdale Council, which was reviewing
allegations against the MP, has agreed to suspend inquiries while it considers how
    to proceed.

Some 28 NHS hospitals have published reports on allegations involving the late BBC
DJ and presenter Jimmy Savile. Four other hospitals are due to report in the
autumn. A former judge is also looking into whether culture and practice at the BBC
enabled Savile to carry out the sexual abuse of children.

Operation Yewtree - set up following Savile's death in 2011 - has seen a string of
high-profile entertainers being prosecuted for alleged sex crimes.

And local authorities have been instructed to investigate claims that Savile abused
children at 21 children's homes and schools in England in the 1960s, 70s and 80s.

Cyril Smith Cyril Smith died in 2010 without ever facing the abuse claims against him

    So what happens now?

The home secretary has announced a Hillsborough-style independent inquiry into
how public bodies dealt with child abuse cases. It will not report before the next
    general election.

Theresa May told the Commons this could be upgraded to a full public inquiry if the
panel of experts leading it deem the move necessary.

She has separately ordered a review - to be led by NSPCC head Peter Wanless -
into the Home Office's own investigation into historical allegations of child abuse
and into how police and prosecutors handled information given to them.

    From Pride Purge's blog

Official efforts to cover up a VIP paedophile ring at the heart of the UK political establishment shamelessly goes on unabated. - Google searches for ‘Leon Brittan’ and ‘PIE’ censored after Cease and Desist notice.

    http://tompride.wordpress.com/2014/0...desist-notice/

If you Google (on google.co.uk) the terms ‘Leon Brittan’ and ‘PIE’ (Paedophile Information Exchange) you’ll find this message from Google (at the bottom of the first page of results)

    Attachment 26251

According to ChillingEffects.org the censoring is because an official Cease and Desist order was sent to Google who had a legal obligation to remove some of the results.

This comes after former Tory Home Secretary Leon Brittan admitted today that he lied last year to a Channel 4 journalist about a detailed dossier on a VIP paedophile ring he was handed in the 1980s which was then promptly lost.

Cock-up, cover up or conspiracy? You decide:

Meet the man Leon Brittan handed the lost VIP paedophile dossier to.

    http://tompride.wordpress.com/2014/0...le-dossier-to/

In 1983, when he was Home Secretary, Leon Brittan was handed a dossier by Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens which included details of a VIP paedophile ring.

The file of course – we now know – then mysteriously went missing after Brittan said he “handed it to his officials” at the Home Office.

So who would those officials be?

Well, Brittan has already confirmed that the official who was with him at the meeting when he was handed the dossier was his private secretary.

And who was Brittan’s private secretary at the time of the meeting?

    Sir Brian Cubbon.

Sir Brian – although a former high ranking civil servant – has close links to MI5 and MI6.

In this document from 1999, Sir Brian is listed as a director of an MI6 front company called Hakluyt & Company.

And Sir Brian is also the official who was responsible for giving MI5 permission to tap the phones of leading CND activists in the 1980s.

And what is the relevance of the spooks involvement in the missing dossier?

Well, this is not the first time a VIP paedophile dossier has gone missing.

In the 1970s a special branch officer with Lancashire Police said a “thick” police dossier full of allegations from boys claiming they had been abused by Sir Cyril Smith went missing after an officer from MI5 told him it needed to be sent to MI5 headquarters in London.

It’s looking increasingly likely that VIP paedophiles – particularly those in Westminster – are being protected by MI5.

‘Fears over an establishment cover-up of an alleged Westminster paedophile
ring in the 1980s deepened on Sunday night as it emerged that an “explosive”
dossier of evidence lost by the Home Office was also handed to the Director

The file, believed to contain child abuse allegations relating to at least eight
public figures, was compiled by the campaigning Conservative MP Geoffrey
    Dickens, who died in 1995.

Last week David Cameron ordered an investigation into how it came to be

Major study reveals true scale of abuse of children living in care

    Monday 7th July 2014 at 08:56 By david-icke

‘One in every hundred children living in care is abused every year in Britain,
according to the most comprehensive study conducted into the issue.

The research by York University and the NSPCC is the first of its kind to
uncover and analyse local authority records on abuse in foster and residential care.

Academics tracked abuse allegations – and their outcomes – between 2009 and
2012. They found that on average there are between 450 and 550 cases of
proven abuse every year in foster care and between 250 and 300 cases of
confirmed abuse a year in residential care.’

In residential care the rate of substantiated abuse claims is significantly higher
than for foster families, with an average of between two and three proven cases
per 100 children. Steve McCabe, the shadow minister for Children and Families
called the findings "shocking", saying that the conclusions of the report "suggests
that the current level of supervision, scrutiny and inspection is woefully inadequate".

"It beggars belief that the Government can be planning to outsource even more
children's services when these findings indicate that those which are already largely
outsourced cannot be relied upon to provide the safe and secure environment that
should be a priority for government," he added.

While the vast majority of foster carers do an excellent job in difficult circumstances,
academics found that most abuse or neglect in foster care – more than 88 per
cent – is perpetrated by carers. In more than a third of these cases the child was
physically harmed and a further 11 per cent were sexually abused.

The examples detailed in the report include two cases where the sexual abuse of a
fostered child was only discovered after the abuse of other children in the foster
family prompted an investigation. One girl told how her regular foster carer had
touched her inappropriately and tried to have sex with her. In another case, a male
foster carer sexually abused two girls, claiming to be in a relationship with one of them.

Four cases involved the adult birth son of a foster family who was living in the home
and abused young girls, three of these cases were sexual abuse over "a long period
    of time", some several years.

Some of the physical abuse documented took the form of a "spur of the moment"
smack in a difficult situation but there were also cases of more serious deliberate
harm. In one case, a child sustained several unexplained fractures during a foster
placement and showed a lack of developmental progress dating back to the time it
began. Emotional abuse made up a thirdof cases and neglect a further 17 per cent.

Tom Rahilly, of the NSPCC, said: "What this report shows is that while for the vast
majority of children care offers a safe and loving environment, for a small minority
we must do much better. The damage to children of being taken into care only to
be mistreated by those entrusted by the state to protect them is immense."

He added: "More needs to be done to ensure that all children and young people in
care are given a strong voice to share their experiences and provided with the help
they need. Children must be allowed to see their social worker alone so they feel
they have a safe environment to disclose concerns. This should remain in place
even where placements have been on-going from many years. Access to advocacy
services, such as that provided by the NSPCC, must be improved so children and
young people have a constant and independent source of support."

More than two out of five foster carers in proven abuse cases had been subject to
previous allegations – yet they were still caring for children. About a quarter of
foster carers in these cases were looking after children who fell outside the age
    they were formally approved for.

More than 60 per cent of abuse victims in care are girls and the mean age of
victims is nine. More than half of all substantiated allegations related to under-nines.
Of those affected by a proven incident, 45 per cent were removed immediately
from care, but almost a quarter remained where they were.

The researchers put in freedom of information requests to Britain's 211 local
authorities on allegations of abuse in care and had responses from 156. They
found evidence that warning signs were missed where children appeared to be
settled in long-term placements but were in fact suffering ill-treatment.

Overall, there are between 2,000 and 2,500 allegations of abuse of children in
foster care every year, around a quarter of which are substantiated. However,
more than half of all unsubstantiated cases are not resolved as they cannot be
proved either way. Four in 10 are proven to be false.

Robert Tapsfield, the chief executive of the Fostering Network, said: "We've
supported the NSPCC to look at this important area of work.It is crucial to be
clear about the difference between instances of abuse, instances of poor practice
and accidents, and not simply to define them all as abuse as this report does.
The report does highlight the importance of foster carers being well trained and
supported and it emphasises the need to do more to identify those exceptional
    situations where children are ill-treated."

Alan Wood, the president of the Association of Directors of Children's Services
(ADCS), said: "The process for being approved as a foster carer is rigorous –
but no system can realistically be fail-safe. We must continually keep processes
under review and ensure we have good and open dialogue between children and
their social workers. We must do as much as is possible to ensure that foster
carers receive high-quality training and support to ensure they can meet the
needs of the children they are caring for."

Edward Timpson, the minister for Children and Families, said: "The report shows
the majority of children in care are in stable, secure homes, but any incident of
abuse or neglect is unacceptable. Where there is abuse or neglect, we are clear
    action must immediately be taken.

"We've introduced important safeguards to ensure children are protected,
including improving the skills of social workers and toughening up the rules
so councils and other agencies must have robust policies for protecting children.

"We have and we will take serious action where there is evidence to suggest
    they are failing in this."

The Protestant orphanage where children were whipped, beaten — and everyone had the same name

    Monday 7th July 2014 at 08:54 By david-icke

‘Originally known as the Protestant Home for Orphan & Destitute Girls and based
in Harold’s Cross, Dublin, the institution moved to Wicklow in the late 1940s, and
began taking in boys as well as girls.

Over the following decades, Mathers presided over a regime whereby children were
forced to carry out manual labour, deprived of food, whipped and beaten (so badly,
at least on one occasion, that the authorities had be called).

Between 30 and 50 children, aged from just a few months old to their late teens,
were resident in the home at any given time. Mathers, who began her career as a
nurse, named all of the children after herself, residents recall — perhaps in an
    attempt to ‘Anglicise’ their names.

Residents were also trafficked illegally over the border and placed with unregistered
foster carers — in some of these arrangements, the children also suffered from
    physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse.’

What David Icke has said since 1998 about paedophile and child killing Prime
Minister Ted Heath is backed-up here by barrister Michael Shrimpton, an
Intelligence and national security consultant, from his own contacts and inside
    experience

Michael Shrimpton says that Prime Minister Heath (1916--2005) was a paedophile
who murdered his young boy victims or had others do it, often by throwing them
into the sea after Heath had abused them on his yacht.

The record-breaking paedophile and BBC 'star' Jimmy Savile supplied boys for
Heath - many of them from the Jersey children's home, Haut de la Garenne, with
the support of those who ran the home.

These facts were covered up by Heath Cabinet Secretary John Hunt, Baron Hunt of
Tanworth, who Shrimpton says was also a paedophile. Hunt was appointed by the
Queen to be a Companion, Knight Commander and Knight Grand Cross of the
British Order of chivalry known as the The Most Honourable Order of the Bath of
which the Queen is the head and Prince Charles the Grand Master. Hunt was also
given a Papal Knighthood by Pope John Paul II - so was Jimmy Savile who was also
    knighted by the Queen.

Jimmy Savile was a close friend of Lord Mountbatten, Prince Philip and Prince
Charles from the 1960s and this continued for decades AFTER the cover up of
Heath's paedophilia and child murder in league with Savile. You mean they didn't
KNOW? Is someone having a laugh? British Intelligence didn't know? Ditto.

What's more ... AFTER the Heath-Savile cover up, Savile became such a close
friend of Heath's successor and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and her husband
Denis that he was invited to be with them on New Year's Eve every year for more
    than a decade.

Thatcher's government and circle of associates and aides was alive with
paedophiles including Chester MP Peter Morrison, a close aide to Thatcher from
1975 to 1990. He was a notorious paedophile, well known to colleagues and the
media, and yet Thatcher and her Cabinet and inner circle did NOTHING while he
was abusing boys in North Wales children's homes and elsewhere. Anyone in that
circle MUST have known. Thatcher minister Edwina Currie wrote in her published diaries:

'One appointment in the recent reshuffle has attracted a lot of gossip and could be
very dangerous: Peter Morrison has become the PM's PPS [Parliamentary Private
    Secretary]. Now he's what they call a 'noted pederast', with a liking for young boys;
he admitted as much to [Conservative Party chairman] Norman Tebbit when he
became deputy chairman of the party but added' 'However, I'm very discreet' - and
he must be! She [Thatcher] either knows and is taking a chance, or doesn't; either
way, it's a really dumb move.

[Conservative MP] Teresa Gorman told me this evening (in a taxi coming back from
a drinks party at the BBC) that she inherited Morrison's (woman) agent, who
claimed to have been offered money to keep quiet about his activities. It scares me
as all the press know, and as we get closer to the election someone is going to
make trouble, very close to her indeed.'

I named Edward Heath as a serial paedophile and child killer in my book, The
Biggest Secret, first published in 1998 -- seven years before he died. I also named
him and his Chancellor of the Exchequer Anthony Barber as practicing Satanists, as
I did the leading members of the royal family. Heath was read what I said by an
excuse for a 'journalist' days after publication and he did nothing because to do so
would have had the truth exposed in court -- as it would be now if anyone from the
Thatcher cesspit wants a go. Michael Shrimpton mentions Barber in this interview
as being in league with Heath and Cabinet Secretary Hunt.

If Operations Fairbank and Fernbridge, the police investigations into political
and 'elite' paedophilia, don't not make arrests of big political and royal names so
they can be questioned under caution then it, too, will be shown to be a cover up
given the evidence that mounts all the time.

Michael Shrimpton goes on to talk about what he says happened to the abducted
little girl Madeleine McCann, the assassination of Princess Diana, the murder of
weapons expert David Kelly who could have trashed the lies used to justify the Blair
invasion of Iraq, and what Shimpton says was the murder of former British Foreign
    Secretary Robin Cook.

I can't confirm what he says about Madeleine or Cook but for sure I can with
everything else with regard to Heath, Savile and the Conservative Party and
government. Nor do I agree with all of his assumptions about who was behind it all,
and certainly not that British Intelligence are the 'good guys'. But it is very
interesting information very much worth hearing.

Michael Shrimpton is the author of the book, Spyhunter, which he hopes to publish
    this year.

Sun Sea & Satan FULL DOCUMENTARY

    Published on 31 Mar 2012

    http://www.pienmashfilms.com
A hard-hitting emotionally charged 60 min documentary by Bill Maloney (Award
winning independent film director) who's family were all brought up in the UK care
    system.

It covers Maloney's visit and interpretation of Jersey, Channel Islands, following the
ongoing child abuse investigations of the children's care home 'Haut de la Garenne'.
It highlights connections with the Sea Cadets and children being brought from
London care homes for 'sailing holidays' on the Island. The documentary contains
    strong language and strong opinions.

Due to his and his family's experiences of Establishment care homes Maloney felt
compelled to see first hand the response of Islanders to the alleged abuse claims
and their general feeling for the Governing States. A mixed response of silence,
anger and insensitivity is catalogued from this island of geographical beauty with an
ugly underbelly. The film includes mainstream news reports with Jeremy Paxman,
Stuart Syvret, Lenny Harper, Esther Rantzen and Frank Walker.

It is the opinion of Bill Maloney that if a child was required - Haut de la Garenne
was the venue; if an adult was required - St Saviours Mental Hospital was the
    venue.

JERSEY IS NOT PART OF THE UK, IT IS OWNED BY THE CROWN.

from generous individuals to carry out investigations into all forms of abuse and the
    erosion of our civil liberties.

‘Paedophilia is natural and normal for males’

    Monday 7th July 2014 at 09:00 By david-icke

How some university academics make the case for paedophiles at summer conferences

‘”Paedophilic interest is natural and normal for human males,” said the
presentation. “At least a sizeable minority of normal males would like to have sex
with children … Normal males are aroused by children.”

Some yellowing tract from the Seventies or early Eighties, era of abusive celebrities
and the infamous PIE, the Paedophile Information Exchange? No. Anonymous
commenters on some underground website? No again.

The statement that paedophilia is “natural and normal” was made not three
decades ago but last July. It was made not in private but as one of the central
claims of an academic presentation delivered, at the invitation of the organisers, to
many of the key experts in the field at a conference held by the University of
    Cambridge.’

Home Office gave money to groups linked to paedophiles: As two abuse inquiries are launched, Whitehall investigation finds nearly £500,000 was granted to organisations

    Tuesday 8th July 2014 at 07:40 By david-icke

‘The Home Office gave nearly £500,000 to groups linked to campaigners for sex with children.

A Whitehall inquiry found ‘clear evidence’ that £476,250 was granted over a decade to two
organisations connected to the notorious Paedophile Information Exchange.

The findings were released yesterday as Home Secretary Theresa May announced a major
inquiry into how public bodies dealt with historical allegations of child sex abuse.’

I’ll sue if anyone links me to untrue paedophile claims, says Tory grandee Sir Peter Bottomley

Worthing West MP issues public denial of any involvement in child abuse
Said people are using the current controversy to restart disproved rumours
Denied there had been a major Establishment conspiracy to cover up abuse

‘A Tory grandee today warned that he would sue for libel if newspapers repeat
false internet rumours linking him to paedophilia.

In an unusual move, Sir Peter Bottomley issued a public denial of any involvement
in child sex abuse in a bid to counter false claims circulating on websites.

Sir Peter said people were using the current controversy about an alleged cover-up
of child sex abuse at Westminster to ‘restart’ disproved rumours about him from
    the 1980s.’

Sir Peter, 69, successfully sued The Mail on Sunday in 1989 after it printed a false
story about him. Today he said he would have no hesitation in doing so again if the
    rumours appear in print.

He said: ‘People are trying to restart [the rumours]; people are trying to somehow
to connect it to the Elm Guest House, a place I’ve not been to, where I’ ve not been
involved. And I give this public warning - if any substantial publisher links me in
any defamatory way, they can expect the same kind of action as The Mail on
    Sunday got.’

Sir Peter Bottomley, married to the former Conservative Cabinet minister Virginia
Bottomley, issued a public denial of any involvement in child sex abuse in a bid to
counter false claims circulating on websites

Sir Peter, who is married to the former Conservative Cabinet minister Virginia
Bottomley, told Radio Four’s Today programme that people were also now wrongly
suggesting that he may have visited the Elm Guest House, in Barnes, south-west
London, which is at the centre of some of the current claims.

The Elm Guest House is alleged to have been the scene of paedophile activity and
sex parties attended by politicians and other prominent figures in the 1970s and
1980s. Visitors are said to have included the late Liberal MP Sir Cyril Smith.

Sir Peter dismissed suggestions there had been a conspiracy to cover up abuse by
    Establishment figures

Sir Peter, who said he had always gone out of his way to help whistleblowers, said
he backed the idea of a wide-ranging inquiry into claims that senior figures were
involved in child sex abuse, provided it did not interfere with police investigations.

But he dismissed suggestions that there had been a major conspiracy to cover up
    abuse by Establishment figures.

He said successive governments did not take seriously enough the activities of
groups like the notorious Paedophile Information Exchange, ‘partly because people
couldn’t believe it, partly because there may have been one or two senior people in
the police or some other forms of public life’.

But he added: ‘The idea that there could be an organised group that could stop
things happening is, I think, imagination.

‘If I tried to organise a conspiracy on something I knew a lot about I think it would
fall apart in two or three days. If this were an organised conspiracy there would be much more there.’

    Parliamentary whips protected paedophile MP's

    Published on 8 Jul 2014

Footage has emerged of a former Conservative MP suggesting to the
BBC in 1995 that party whips might not disclose certain behaviour of
colleagues including that "involving small boys."

Tim Fortescue, who was a senior whip in Sir Edward Heath's
government from 1970-73, claimed that MPs would "come and
ask if we could help and if we could, we did".

MPs to press civil service boss about abuse claims

The Home Office's top civil servant is set to be quizzed by MPs about the handling
of historical allegations of child sex abuse involving politicians.

Mark Sedwill is to face questions from the Commons Home Affairs Select
Committee about how his department lost or destroyed 114 files that could shed
light on alleged abuse in the 1980s.

The government has already announced two reviews into claims of abuse.

At least 20 public figures have been accused of abuse spanning "decades".

Mr Sedwill's appearance comes 24 hours after Home Secretary Theresa May
announced the launch of a wide-ranging, Hillsborough-style inquiry into historical
child sex abuse claims "to consider whether public bodies and other non-state
institutions have taken seriously their duty of care to protect children".

Its chairman and terms of reference are expected to be unveiled later.

Mrs May also appointed the head of the NSPCC, Peter Wanless, to focus on
concerns the Home Office failed to act on allegations of child sex abuse contained in
a dossier handed over in the 1980s by former Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens.

    Were child abuse inquiries blocked?

    By Matt Prodger

    Home affairs correspondent

Former Liberal MP Cyril Smith Former Liberal MP Cyril Smith is one of those
    accused of abuse

It's not so much a single scandal as a series of claims relating to the alleged
activities of child abusers from the 1960s through to the 1980s.

Furthermore, it's alleged that investigations into the abuse were thwarted or
dropped to protect the perpetrators, some of whom were powerful people or had
    links to the powerful.

It's not just about the "Dickens Dossier" of allegations passed to the Home Office in
the 1980s. It's not just about the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE), which
campaigned to legalise sex between adults and children.

It goes further than Cyril Smith's alleged abuse of children 40 years ago. And it
extends beyond a police investigation into the rape of children at a guest house
allegedly frequented by politicians and celebrities in the 1980s.

But linking it all is a common thread - the vulnerability of some children in care and
a failure to properly investigate and hold to account those responsible for their abuse.

    Experts hoodwinked

One year to start with is 1994. Back then a man called Peter McKelvie was a child
protection manager in Hereford and Worcester who was assisting police
investigating an influential paedophile, Peter Righton.

Righton had hoodwinked social workers and child abuse specialists during his career
rise to become a consultant to the National Children's Bureau.

Now dead, he was ultimately convicted of importing child pornography. But Mr
McKelvie believes that what was discovered went much further than that and
Righton should have been convicted for far more serious crimes.

For 20 years he says he has been asking himself why leads suggesting links
between paedophiles and government were not investigated further by police.

Labour MP Tom Watson raised claims in parliament

When the Jimmy Savile scandal broke in 2012 Mr McKelvie took his concerns to
Labour MP Tom Watson. When Mr Watson raised it in parliament, a police inquiry,
Operation Fairbank, was launched to examine the claims.

Officers tracked down seven boxes of evidence from the original Righton
investigation and started to go through them. The resultant publicity prompted
more calls from members of the public to Mr Watson.

As more information came in, different investigations were launched, the best
known being Operation Fernbridge which has been investigating allegations that in
the 1980s famous people abused children at a place called Elm Guest House in
    Barnes, south-west London.

Meanwhile in Rochdale another Labour MP, Simon Danczuk, was looking into claims
that Cyril Smith had abused children with impunity at a residential care home,
    Knowl View.

It was his evidence to the Home Affairs Committee last week, calling for an
investigation into the "Dickens Dossier", that catapulted a series of claims into the headlines.

Claims that the PIE was government funded will be re-examined, Theresa May said

Peter Righton was a member of the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE), a
shadowy pressure group which in the 1970s and 80s tried to legitimise and
decriminalise sex between children and adults.

It no longer exists but achieved notoriety once more earlier this year with reports
that in the 1970s it had infiltrated the National Council for Civil Liberties. Did it
    infiltrate government too?

    'Politically useful'

A man claiming to be a former Home Office civil servant last week told the Sunday
Express that not only was PIE receiving funding from the Home Office in the 1980s,
it was doing so at the request of Special Branch, the intelligence-gathering arm of
the police. And he believed the police were not interested in catching child abusers.

He said his superior told him that Special Branch "found it politically useful to
identify people who were paedophiles... I was aware a lot of people in the civil
service or political arena had an interest in obtaining information like that which could be used as a sort of blackmail."

Home Secretary Theresa May has said a Home Office review found the claim that
PIE was government funded to be untrue but it would be re-examined by the inquiry.

Allegations of Special Branch involvement in a cover-up were also made by Jack
Tasker, a former Lancashire detective who tried to prosecute Cyril Smith for child
    sex abuse.

He says Special Branch detectives arrived in his office one day, told him to hand
over all his notebooks and files, and told him to go no further with his
    investigations.

"Nothing like that had ever happened before," he told the BBC. "That came from
London." Cyril Smith was never prosecuted.

If these allegations are true, the newly commissioned inquiry into abuse has a lot of
    work on its hands.
