Thanks for posting this Pele Report, Nora. My Leo Ascendant is happy, too, with Jupiter, sun and moon transiting over it.
Also it's interesting to watch Tom's own spiritual growth. Astrid told me once that he is a Leo.

About your loss, and grieving...just a quick reminder...those who have passed on have sharper awareness, and don't like it when we feel sad for a long time. Because they are here, and only want us to know that.
It has been one year since my friend Simon passed away, on July 16th.
And his business partner just told me how on that day many things started to happen, creativity wise....
Please send energy to Peter in Barbados. I now have to figure out how to pay his huge electric bill, to get the lights turned back on. They cut off his water as well...he is carrying buckets of sea water so he can flush the toilet. The water bill is $3000, which means that the meter is faulty. But he doesn't have the mentality (yet) how to deal with the authorities, and insist that they send him an inspector to check the meter. My friend Simon was like a father figure for him, and I now feel like I'm his grandmother...
Wow...a mango just fell onto my roof- this instance...a sign from Simon!
When Peter came by here yesterday morning and saw all those mangos on my lawn he told me that if it weren't for the mangos everywhere he would not have survived the current crisis. It's all he's been eating.


Here is a picture I just found online, of one of their charity fashion shows before everything came to a grinding halt with Simon's death.
Peter told me he cannot get any of the wealthy white women who used to be Simon's regulars to come in to the shop and buy his dresses, him being black. So I told him to look at the black population, which is a bigger market here, anyway, and lets do a line of jewelry for them.
The good thing when starting from the bottom is that the only way is up...

This is a bit late for a "here and now", but here and now I finally cropped and uploaded these images from last week.

I was Skype-chatting with Christine, (my computer still in the kitchen, not yet moved back into my basement office), and heard a thump on my back porch sliding glass door. Sadly, I knew the sound, (even though we now always have stickers/visual elements on glass), and expected to find a dead or dying bird on the porch. This male Goldfinch must have hit on an angle, a "glancing blow", and did not die. He did get stunned, however, as the following 2 photos show.



As you can see in this image, where the finch has hopped up onto a tomato plant, he is actually holding on to a stabilizing post with his right wing.





Here, you can see his beak held open - not a good sign. However, I knew that if I attempted to assist him in any way, it would only traumatize him (alien abduction!), so I just quietly checked up on him a few times. He must have regained his composure and lived to fly another day, because he was gone the third time I checked on him (and no outdoor cats.)

I'm currently writing a song that is about the destruction of small family farms and the rise of Capitalism. Part of the chorus is "And the pitchforks and the torches are coming after you..."

Pitchforks and torches are symbolic of revolution and sovereignty, and as a part-time farmer, I'm all for it.

Let's see, what am I thinking here and now.... well... I'm thinking that I should rename myself to 'ThreadKiller' because either I am showing up late to the party or I'm writing stuff that makes people uncomfortable/offended/dismissive/saddened or just bored! Like any person who joins a group, I wonder how the group is recieving me. I don't want to cause negative reactions. On the other hand, I can't tailor my words to avoid any of the above states because they would then be without honesty.

I'm currently wondering what the point is for these facebook-esque thanking buttons for posts. I get the impression that people feel slighted if they don't get a 'like', or that people withhold the 'like' when they want to show somebody their comment is not valuable or appreciated. I seriously forget to hit that button all over the place, so please don't take offense as far as my participation goes hehe

Ooops, wait, the NOW changed. Now I'm thinking that I don't care! I'm always going to come across like this for as long as I am admitted to be here in Project Avalon.

Can't believe I'm posting here again and asking for prayers and healing but I am. My daughter in law is in the hospital at only 27 weeks along in her pregnancy. She lost the twin much earlier on in her pregnancy, but now her water broke yesterday and could be delivering today, possibly by C-section. Baby is only approximately 2lbs. so it's going to be a touchy situation. Mom has a couple of health conditions that make her a high risk, so very worried (even though I know it don't do no good) for both baby and momma. Sending all the healing and prayers I can but could always use more. Thank you.

I saw a little video his momma took today and even though this little guy is a full 3 months early, he opened his eyes and looked around like he was checking things out. So far he's doing good. This has only just come up on my radar. It would seem that the Carrington event predicted for 2012 actually happened but we managed to get out of the way in time – even though it happened not in December but in July.
