I hear quite some interesting stuff from people who do dishes. I think they use a magical detergent that makes them invisible.

That's 'they think' I take it? When we were kids and had to wash up, my little brother certainly knew how to make himself invisible and out of earshot as well

...and I experienced similar connections (looking up there) during san pedro ceremonies as is depicted in the picture of this video.

One of the last I did at the Culture Center at Puerto Maldonado I saw two lightships in tandem heading east/northeast and abruptly change direction in unison north and I intuitively got the message it was time to think about heading home as my work and connecting had been fulfilled there...I felt My Son's Spirit with me and thus the tandem lightships(He and I)

This has been one of the longest days ever but I have good news. Little baby Danial was born at 2:55pm and weighed in at a whopping 2.1 lbs. Mom had a natural birth (last one was a C-section) and both her and baby are doing well. His heart is strong but it will be some time before he is out of the woods. There are just no words to describe what it feels like to see a baby that small. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. For once I am very grateful for modern medicine and what they are able to do. A good ending to a very emotion filled day.

Once again little baby Danial could use some prayers and healing sent his way. Don't know how this is even possible but the hospital says they found e-coli in his blood and then they are also treating him for meningitis (even though they are not sure because he is too sick to test) so he is on antibiotics. I believe they did a blood transfusion yesterday. I guess his blood pressure is more stable today, but if he survives all this it really will be a miracle. Not surprising his has Saturn in Scorpio on his ascendant.

Careful Ulli: 'reasonable success' at dishwashing is really not very good - sounds to me like a lot of broken crockery. But with 100% acceptance, eaglespirit will surely improve.

I employed that technique as a young child, abhorrent at the prospect of washing dishes, I would "break" a fair amount of them when I was commissioned to wash. This gave me exempt status from the kitchen, which my 5 sisters resented, but it worked for me. At one point I was not allowed in the kitchen at all but only to eat. That was definitely fine with me.

Saturn in Scorpio on the Ascendant can make a very resilient human being.
It also means a difficult start in life...indeed a make or break situation....
just like the whole world is now in crisis.

Poor little soul must be having second thoughts about coming into such a world.

The less said the better, so I'll just briefly say, I never meant to be away from Avalon this long. It's a comfort to come back.

I was diagnosed with very early cancer (bile duct/pancreas) in March, but my healer friends said they could not see it. After surgery the docs said the same thing ... there was no cancer. I had 'the Whipple procedure' which has a long recovery time. Doc said mine was even longer, I'm in the category of 1% who take this long and complicated recovery.

I'm not completely healed yet ... although I think that Eeyore bump did some good! I will return to work August 11 if all continues well. They held my job much longer than they had to ... said I am worth the wait, and that was a big worry lifted, and made me feel so good.

Being back here amongst you all does the same, a good feeling. Thanks for all your welcomes.

I am happy you are recovering altogether. And that they see no more cancer in any ways.

I was diagnosed first with cyst in the thyroid, years ago, then with cancer cells, then with nothing just abnormal cells, then asked to have half my gland removed, then tested again with abnormal cells but no cancer, and still pushed to removed half my gland.

I personnally think it will never turn into cancer period. Will have it checked regularly period.

And I do think the forum's members help had something to do with this. So thanks everyone

Having a job interview tomorrow, if I get the job it would make my life much easier allowing time for others and maybe the forum. I am in the last interview stretch, first interviewees wave (they want as little waves as possible, had planned for 3), so probabilities are good.

Got that guest cabin finished. This is the side which faces the river. Bedroom double doors on the left, living- dining room sliding glass doors on the right. When I get back to Costa Rica I will start to look for suitable furniture.
If we win the lottery we will build 11 more of these as well as a pool and start a village.

Thank you, dear Eagle. Yes, those guys adore us. They see us like parents. My husband went out of his way to help them get their legal status in order. The foreman who is the same age as my son (35) was born in Nicaragua and illegally crossed the border into Costa Rica with an uncle. He was 12 years old then, and his mother had died the year before.
Dire poverty. So walking into Costa Rica they got lost for four days and nights in the rain forest.
Very little education, other than what he learnt from observing as he went along.
He and his little brother really do deserve a pat on the back.

Many of the Peruvian Workers at Puerto Maldonado had beyond imaginable survival stories of getting lost in the jungles and such...
lives lived on the extreme edge that makes our own 'getting thru rough times' seem a pittance in comparison.
I honored so many of them and they knew that.

that it is our OWN faith that produces the happy endings.....
every atom of the universe rushes in the serve us and make our dreams come true-
provided of course we don't change our minds every few days...
the universe gets confused what to do then.

@Miniflash, that's some heavy stuff there,...At age 13 the roughest music that surrounded use was from Cypress Hill, Nirvana and Radioheadish...Probably some AC/DC too and some of us Metallica, and some others sometimes made too much noise too.

Not girls, girls did not really like that (back then), they just pretended because it looked good with the boys.

No, they are Australian Pines. In Barbados they call them Casuarinas.
I once visited the Sarasota / Bradenton area of west Florida and they have them there as well.
I was really homesick for Barbados at the time...it was in 1998.
But the beach there is much wider, and the water not as clear nor as blue.
