I had not dreamt that I could remember in about 2 years. 2 nights ago I dreamt of white kittens coming to me. And last night I dreamt of a war in the sky over what I knew was London. Blue beams of light shooting from ships with lots of lights.

Astrologically speaking, two planets give clues to dreams: Neptune and the moon. Also their respective houses and signs, the 12th house and Pisces for Neptune, and the fourth house and Cancer for the moon.

Over the years I have examined my own sleep and dream patterns, and found that if there was no activity around any of those factors I would not remember my dreams.

The moon's position helps with memory, and Neptune's position clues us in to the extent with which we connect with our own, or even the collective unconscious. Neptune helps us look behind the veil which separates us from other dimensions.

Since the Internet is nowadays full of cats and kittens, but also UFO and war stories, my guess is that you went into the collective unconscious, and that is where you saw those visions.
Which would make that dream less personal than most.
Maybe you have reached that stage of development, spiritually, where your identity as a sovereign soul is well established and now need to find your place in the larger scheme...the collective of humanity, and perhaps all of life.

thank you for your analysis Ulli. It resonates with me. Sovereignty is on my mind frequently, as is the bigger picture. Especially how it is that we are both part of all, but also a unique expression of the whole.

Just got back home. It was fun driving my little Suzuki on Barbados' bumpy lanes tonight after visiting an old friend.

Although I would not be afraid to try me some grasshoppers, I also would be more likely to come across something more like this....

Some of the crickets I mentioned on that page almost three years ago were pretty tasty, however.

Although I would not be afraid to try me some grasshoppers,

They're actually pretty darn tasty. Fry them in a skillet so they're nice and crispy and coat with soy sauce. I know it sounds cliche, but they really *do* taste like chicken...

The only bad thing is the texture, and it's a bit awkward when you get the legs and wings stuck in your teeth...

No, it’s not stuck. It resets at intervals.

I’ve been watching the counter since last week. This graphic has been sitting on my desktop since then. It’s 535 hits early, by my computer count @ 1,999,647. Heck, the graphic is so old now that it may even need some WD-40 (oil lubricant).

Christmas morning…can’t wait any longer…

I was thinking of keeping it simple and ordered a variety of pizzas, even curried pumpkin pizza.
As well as half a dozen sauces, from béarnaise to curry to sweet and sour into which people can dip whatever protein of their choice, including grass hoppers.

I'm a stubborn, sometimes bitter soul, but I can also be friendly and understanding. This is one of my favorite threads that I keep up with...I just don't show my presence and "like" all the posts, because I'm anxious I'll miss one. All posts and members here are great and I appreciate every one.

I did notice your grasshopper picture, and yes, it looks like you nabbed one! I've been catching loads of them for my pet praying mantis.
