Default Gnome on trail cam in Pittsburgh?

I clicked on one of the images to enlarge and it totally crashed safari on me. Twice. Weirdness.

Bizarre looking "face" on that creature. Not what one would expect for a gnome. Goggles and mask maybe or is that its actual face?

Also interesting that he says they have Sasquatch activity on that same property. Maybe there is a portal present at that location.?

Looks like a bird on a branch to me. Or maybe it's just a Travelocity marketing campaign.

#3 looks like the close-up of an owl.

Looks like a bird on a branch to me. Or maybe it's just a Travelocity marketing campaign.
    First Impressions:
I would have to disagree. It looks to me like this "thing", as it has yet to be identified, is in the background of the images. While the tree branch and leaves are in the foreground. Estimating the size by scaling based on the objects in the background, i would estimate 3.5-4 feet tall, hunched over. Looking at the time stamps it's obvious the 2nd picture was taken just before the internal clock moved to the next digit. Thus displaying the same time stamp but actually being .9 seconds after the first picture. We have what I would identify as a bipedal creature moving at an inhuman speed.

    Appearance:
Looks to be wearing "garments" of a sort and perhaps custom fitted to it's physiology. Appears to be 2 different sections or pieces. Has 2 appendages contacting the ground with a bipedal gait, leaning forward. The hunched gait appears to be compensating for a large mass on the left of it. There appears to be another appendage on the upper section and we can speculate that there are a pair of these. I do believe there is a 5th appendage or something hanging off the lower section. i speculate that sunlight is reflecting off the material of the upper section in images 2 and 3 resulting in the color change. This is apparent in image 2 as only the very top(some are saying this is a white puff ball on the top of a hat...) of the upper section is displaying the color change. In image 3 as the "thing" moves further into the sunlight more material is reflecting and you can see more color change.

    Speed:
Without access to the location and other dimensions of the space this would be a very poor estimation. I also don't know how the camera's sensors work and a quick internet search didn't provide that information. This is just a theory but, I believe that this "thing" moves at such a high speed that the sensors of this camera would not be triggered. If they were triggered the mechanism is not fast enough and by the time the frame is captured the "thing" has moved out of it. This image would be seen as a false positive by the user. Keeping that in mind I have surmised the following. In image 1 the "thing" is barely in the frame and appears to be heading in the direction to exit the frame. However in image 2 we see the "thing" has changed it's heading. I posit that when image 1 was captured the "thing" was pivoting to change direction and had to reduce it's speed. If it had continued in the same direction we surely would not have had images 2 and 3, and most likely not image 1 either.

    Classification:
It was difficult for me to describe this "thing" without using human characteristics. That being said it really does appear humanoid to me, however more information can easily change my opinion.

    Mushroom or moth/butterfly?

It seems to be around but starts in the shadow of the "gnome."

My first impression was someone on stilts... but a deer sure has skinny long limbs...

Here is a photo of a White-tailed deer that better resembles the coloration in the game camera's photo, as a supplement to buares's observation. White-tailed deer come in a variety of colors that reflect different hues depending on their location to the sun. It is speculated that White-tailed deer throw up their tail as a way to alert other deer in the area of a threat and/or to confuse predators.

It could also be the case that the deer (if that was indeed what was in the photo) was red because it has been wounded. Perhaps it was shot by a hunter in a non-vital area (hind-quarters), which explains the red coloration on the rear-end as well as the blurriness in the photo due to the erratic behavior of the injured and confused deer. I'd rather not post photos of injured, bloody deer on Avalon, but I think that the sight can be easily imagined...

Whitetail deer have a reddish hue to their summer coats...their winter coat is the grayish brown color.

No, but they have an a**hole on their a**, and when in motion, the hole could blur making it seem as if there were two holes.

If you read the Earthfiles article it says that there was an eyewitness sighting of a gnome at a nearby state park, seen by a couple of people while they were in the parking lot near the woods. They got a good view of the creature. So this, along with the property owner saying there is Sasquatch activity on his property also, may indicate that his trail-cam did indeed capture a gnome rather than the @ss end of a deer.

Oh, I know, it is just a weather balloon. Move along, nothing to see here.
