Things are looking up: we are just getting so much more sensitive that less is being judged as more. Look at falling crime: another example of people getting puzzled when faced with the disconnect between their misperceptions and media misdirections on the one hand and the reality of the long-term trend of improvement on the other. As with climate, in matters of crime, the default position – the one expressed most vociferously – of an upward negative curve, is simply not borne out by the facts. The ‘naively optimistic’ view turns out to be closer to the truth.

Prof Mike Hough, associate director of the Institute for Criminal Policy Research at Birkbeck, University of London, says that rather than searching for narrow explanations for falling crime, people should consider a more general cultural cause: "There is a very long-run trend in European cultures towards greater civility and better treatment of our fellows, however naively optimistic that may seem. If one takes a long view – over centuries – it is pretty obvious that this is the case."

how women are fed up, fed up, fed up....
and so my aim here is to represent the collective of humanity, without any gender divisions.
Those posters are really beyond decadent.
A damaged maiden in a blood-coloured sheet with her legs wide open...there is nothing realistic there...it is a fantasy, designed to sell.
It's hard to escape in today's world from this barrage of endless subliminal messages.

I gotta let You know again...You already know I am an ol' master carpenter and custom builder, but what I did for years in the mid-stages was supervise commercial jobs and had 25 to 30 man crews and You really should not be overlooking more than a dozen to really be in a good pace and place...It was my specialty to get big jobs back on track that were 1, 2, 3 months behind and sometimes even a bit more. I would get them back on track, always. And I know You know I am not bragging here but this is deeply engrained in me from the 3d world...so I have to work hard at keeping it calm when things are changing in big ways...I'm gettin' better at that calmness...but it is what it is and I have to change it entirely to it is what it can be : )

Wowwweeeeeee Villagers!

I have moved in with some Loving Friends at Cummaquid a couple days ago that are woven into all of my/our Spirit happenings. I have been walking and exploring eveywhere I can when I have the time. I have explored much more of the beaches near where Purdy and I have been going down Indian Trail, I went again and had a very quiet and long visit at Iyanough's burial site and so on.

Just got back from walking the meandering trails at the huge wildlife/bird sanctuary nearby that I had only been on the outskirts of years ago and recently too...
Gggeessshhhh! All I wanted to be was barefoot and naked : ) HeHe! I got as far as the sandals and shirt but will save the rest for a few days after the tourist situation lightens up a bit. I will wear swimming trunks and do it kind of early and see how it goes and Shall be ready to throw them back on if I hear anyone coming : ) I am certainly in my element and everything happens for a reason. Keep You posted.

Cummaquid means to the Wampanoag, "Land on the other side", because Sandy Neck is across the bay reaching out and They camped there...there are other translations, but this one suits me best!

Wonderful and powerful little big synchronicities going on.

Yesterday, after I took Purdy for a sunset walk I was talking with my Daughter and kinda 'out of the blue' in the middle of the talk She says, "You know Dad, I have a good friend/relative(don't remember which and name) that just has such a big heart and quietly helps people all the time. When she talks to people she helps she does it in such a way that it makes those people feel like it is their own idea... of whatever it is she feels she has to suggest or do for them. I've seen her do it, all the time, it is unbelievable. She has done this with me, and I myself have to work at it more cuz I(and you Dad, pointing) kind of have that 'leader' thing in us and it needs to be quieted a bit!"

Here and Now...winding down my stay in Barbados. This trip was more difficult, frustrating and painful than all previous ones
and I am looking forward to returning to husband and cats in Costa Rica.
Coming to Barbados in mid summer means living in ghost island...the combination of the low season coupled with recession.
I come here primarily to connect with son and his family, and in order to afford such a luxury
I have to work to pay for my flight and accommodation.
Work is jewellery design as you know, which I leave on consignment.
All of August they only sold $777 worth of which they pay me half.
Work is also astro chart readings (only did one), selling MicroMats (none), and phone patches against EM waves sales (three)
So now survival depends more and more on my ability to manifest my needs, using my intent and faith.

Actually, to be fair to the universe, this is still happening as long as I keep those needs to a minimum.
Perhaps I am too identified with the dreadful existence so many of my fellow humans have to endure.

So I am grateful that my health is good, and I really don't feel my age, unless I look in the mirror.
I feel grateful also that my grandsons adore me, and that the neighbours cat comes to my front door at 6 AM every morning
to greet me and get a cuddle. And thanks for bumping this thread, araucaria. Sometimes it feels to me like a lifeline.

It was a three day holiday in US. Today, school kids and families adjusting to fall routines. I visited with a sister and brother over the weekend. Ate and drank things I don't usually. My body now asking what the heck?

The guy is here fixing my non-leaky faucet. The one he was suppose to fix last Thursday or Friday. I showed him the video and ask what would be the reason for it to all of a sudden stop after running for six weeks. I didn't give him the woo-woo version. His answer is, "Things happen. I don't know. I'll rebuild the whole thing."

I must continue because these Loving Native American Indian
truths that resonate so powerfully with me because of my Spirit
gift connections, need to be out here, again, in full detail, I somehow
just know it is the real story.

Most all people simply do not know and it is a travesty that needs to
be known by all...I am being driven so strongly each new day now,
I cannot curb this for some very good reasons, US!

Please understand that in the middle of my building career I was a
foreman/supervisor on big commercial jobs and it was my specialty
to bring the ones that were far behind schedule back on track...and I did,
usually with twice the crew that should be run by one person. I have this
deeply engrained in me, "get it done yesterday, now". I have been graciously shown many things that are coming if we all just look at the real past and bring things up to speed together, Godspeed, really! I have to keep it going...in a calm, let it happen way, but with more Hearts in this together...it is here right in front of us now, huge and wonderful changes are now online and it is my very heart that is pouring this out to you, I have to do this, now.

Paula, the faucet to my garden hose has been leaking all summer into a bucket, so none wasted until now, when we have enough rainwater. I bought a new faucet and started dismantling the old one until I realized I had no tape to seal the thread. So I just screwed it up again and went for some tape – not needed of course. The same thing has just happened with a slow puncture – I went through all the motions, found nothing, put it all back and it seems to be OK.

I’m not feeling too inspired just now, but here’s a thought on eaglespirit’s notion of instilling ideas in someone so that they think it is their own. This is an interesting notion because, while at the opposite end of the spectrum, it has something in common with mind control. It also has something in common with stroking someone’s ego for ulterior, not necessarily bad, motives. Take this instance the other day from ahn-nungquay tackling a sociopath:

I knew that I couldn't win going directly up against her or going through personnel, etc., so through prayer I was led to an alternative. My offer was this, if I became a consultant for the company, they would hire one employee to supervise the department. She knew that she couldn't refuse because it would make her look good to the higher ups as she could lie to them and tell them it would be cheaper and she wouldn't have to go through the process of hiring/training someone new. And, after dealing with her for three years, I knew exactly what she was thinking. I then made it sound good to her by reinforcing the advantages. I overheard the personnel meeting where she presented the plan and she made it seem like her idea.

This is a cautionary tale about pinching other people’s ideas: they can bite you in the rear. Is is a reverse angle view of mind control. Not only do I control your mind by instilling thoughts, but I also pick your brain for my benefit not yours. But what eaglespirit is talking about involves no control: it is simply mind interaction as normal human interaction. Sharing thoughts means precisely that: no proprietary rights over things. In legal terms, such ‘prior disclosure’ could be used to contest an alleged patent infringement. So instead of an idea being stolen, it is accepted as a gift, or perhaps learnt as a lesson. A well-learnt lesson is one that the pupil knows and applies independently of the teacher. I just wanted to make this distinction, because sometimes a negative construction can be placed on what is actually for the greatest good.

Here and now, I'm looking at the many things I need to do today. I need to do some coordination with the IT at M's school to get her access up and running for what she needs. Just got the laptop back from Mike, and it is looking pretty bare. I should mow, or I would like to mow, because the clouds are threatening rain. Em, however, has just reminded me of the 12 or so subjects she wants to study, and that she is waiting for me to write all the lessons for those. Seems like she did mention this before, but for the past many weeks I have been holding M's hand, leading her through step by step to get her started in her life. Of course, Em's schooling is supposed to start today. I tried to make her first lesson one of flexibility, haha. That isn't flying. I need to check in with K, through the grapevine I hear she is about as big as a blimp now, and quite ready to meet her new daughter. Still has about six weeks to go, but if memory serves that is about right for being ready. I am missing Little One, and send him love every day.

Meanwhile, I would like to just sit and read all day. In the middle of the Ramayana, which I started three times. Different authors, or actually re-tellers of the story. This one is the best. So I want to finish it. Other important tasks await and I want to get to those also.

I haven't been particularly inspired to share much. But I'm here and now I'm sorry things are not going smoothly, Ulli. If I had any wisdom to share I certainly would. I am sending a hug, wishing we could sit together over something to drink and just visit.
