    Quote Unbelievable indeed.

Have a look at their background/ history and their idea of freedom?
[Warning: Contains some extremely graphic content - potentially unbearable]

Its sad when people say these events never happened. It does not excuse what
the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians and what they went thru in WW11 ,
you would of thought they would not be the group to attack the minority .
in Gaza so savagely. We seem to be repeating history over and over again.

Report: Netanyahu says will not send delegation to Cairo talks

    Wednesday 3rd September 2014 at 07:37 By david-icke

‘Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not plan to send a delegation for
negotiations in Cairo as stipulated by the ceasefire agreement that ended seven
weeks of fighting in Gaza, Israeli media reported Monday.

Channel 10 said in a TV report that Netanyahu told his cabinet in a closed session
that he would not send as agreed a delegation to Egypt for further talks regarding a
seaport and airport in Gaza, the release of Palestinian prisoners, the
demilitarization of Gaza factions, and the delivery of bodies of Israeli soldiers
presumed held by Hamas, among other unresolved issues.

Netanyahu spoke proudly to his cabinet about the Gaza offensive, saying Hamas
had not achieved any of its demands, according to the report.’

Illuminati Promote Both Sides of Ukraine Crisis?

    September 3, 2014

Above, Ukraine Truth Where You'd Least Expect It - The Sept-Oct issue of Foreign Affairs

Since its inception in 1921, the Council on Foreign Relations has been a key instrument of Illuminati control. From the start, Foreign Affairs has been
    its house organ.

When Illuminati errand boys David Cameron and Barack Obama compare Vladimir Putin to Hitler and castigate Russia for "its aggression," an article in Foreign Affairs, Why the Ukraine Crisis is the West's Fault, totally discredits them.

Is the Illuminati promoting both sides of this conflict?

John Mearsheimer, a West Point grad and US Air Force veteran, is Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago.

His 2007 book with Stephen Walt, The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy was a best seller.

    by John Mearsheimer
Why the Ukraine Crisis is the West's Fault
    excerpt by henrymakow.com

According to the prevailing wisdom in the West, the Ukraine crisis can be blamed almost entirely on Russian aggression. Russian President Vladimir Putin, the argument goes, annexed Crimea out of a long-standing desire to resuscitate the Soviet empire, and he may eventually go after the rest of Ukraine, as well as other countries in eastern Europe. In this view, the ouster of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in February 2014 merely provided a pretext for Putin's decision to order Russian forces to seize part of Ukraine.

But this account is wrong: the United States and its European allies share most of the responsibility for the crisis. The taproot of the trouble is NATO enlargement, the central element of a larger strategy to move Ukraine out of Russia's orbit and integrate it into the West. At the same time, the EU's expansion eastward and the West's backing of the pro-democracy movement in Ukraine -- beginning with the Orange Revolution in 2004 -- were critical elements, too.

Since the mid-1990s, Russian leaders have adamantly opposed NATO enlargement, and in recent years, they have made it clear that they would not stand by while their strategically important neighbor turned into a Western bastion. For Putin, the illegal overthrow of Ukraine's democratically elected and pro-Russian president -- which he rightly labeled a "coup" -- was the final straw. He responded by taking Crimea, a peninsula he feared would host a NATO naval base, and by working to destabilize Ukraine until it abandoned its efforts to join the West.

(Putin greeting Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko last week. What's with the obsequious expression on Putin's face? Is Petro a 35 degree Mason and Putin only 32?)

Putin's pushback should have come as no surprise. After all, the West had been moving into Russia's backyard and threatening its core strategic interests, a point Putin made emphatically and repeatedly. Elites in the United States and Europe have been blindsided by events only because they subscribe to a flawed view of international politics. They tend to believe that the logic of realism holds little relevance in the twenty-first century and that Europe can be kept whole and free on the basis of such liberal principles as the rule of law, economic interdependence, and democracy.

But this grand scheme went awry in Ukraine. The crisis there shows that realpolitik remains relevant -- and states that ignore it do so at their own peril. U.S. and European leaders blundered in attempting to turn Ukraine into a Western stronghold on Russia's border. Now that the consequences have been laid bare, it would be an even greater mistake to continue this misbegotten policy.

    .........

U.S. and European leaders blundered in attempting to turn Ukraine into a Western stronghold on Russia's border. Imagine the American outrage if China built an impressive military alliance and tried to include Canada and Mexico.

    .........

The United States and its allies should abandon their plan to westernize Ukraine and instead aim to make it a neutral buffer.

Minsk ceasefire protocol: Ukraine to be decentralized, special status for Lugansk, Donetsk

The OSCE has revealed the 12-point roadmap behind the September 5 truce signed in Minsk. It says that Ukraine must adopt a new law, allowing for a special status for Lugansk and Donetsk regions, and hold early elections there.

READ MORE: Kiev, E. Ukraine militia agree on ceasefire starting 1500 GMT Friday

The document, titled ‘Protocol on the results of consultations of the Trilateral Contact Group’ and signed in Minsk on September 5, outlines what needs to be done for the ceasefire to stay in place.

“To decentralize power, including through the adoption by Ukraine of law 'on provisional procedure for local government in parts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions (law on special status),'” states one of the provisions in the document.

Another point emphasizes that “early local elections” are to be held in light of the special status of both regions. The early elections must be held in accordance with the same proposed law, it says.

Kiev must then continue an “inclusive nationwide dialogue,” the document stresses.

The roadmap also implies an amnesty for anti-government forces in Donbass: “To adopt a law, prohibiting prosecution or punishment of people in relation to the events that took place in individual areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine.”

At the same time, it notes that all “illegal military formations, military equipment, as well as militants and mercenaries” have to be withdrawn from Ukraine.

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) published a copy of the protocol early on Sunday, with only a PDF document in Russian available so far.

During the meeting on September 5, Kiev officials and representatives of the two self-proclaimed republics in southeastern Ukraine have agreed to a ceasefire.

Some of the other provisions of the truce include monitoring of the ceasefire inside Ukraine and on the Russia-Ukraine border by international OSCE observers, the freeing of all prisoners of war, and the opening of humanitarian corridors.

A “safety zone” is to be created with the participation of the OSCE on the Russia-Ukraine border, the document says.

It also calls for measures to improve the dire humanitarian situation in eastern Ukraine, and urges in a separate point that a program for Donbass’ economic development is to be adopted.

Since the conflict significantly deteriorated in mid-April, 2,593 people have died in fighting in the east of the country, according to the UN's latest data. More than 6,033 others have been wounded in the turmoil.

The number of internally displaced Ukrainians has reached 260,000, with another 814,000 finding refuge in Russia.

MI-6 Hired Nazi who Killed 100-300 British Agents
    September 8, 2014

Horst Kopkow whose death was faked by the British
(SS Sturmbannfuehrer Horst Kopkow,1910-1996. This account mentions 300 agents killed.)

Wonder why NATO is trying to start a war with Russia? Or why the West created ISIS?

All wars are really between the Illuminati on one hand, and all combatants on the other. This is why they finance both sides of every war.

The Illuminati arrange wars so that patriots of every nationality -- British, German, Russian, American etc. -- kill each other.

This is again proven by the fact that, after WW2, MI-6 protected and then hired the mass murderer of its own agents.

The "Secret Masonry" is setting up "our own, to all appearance, off position, which in at least one of its organs will present what looks like the very antipodes to us.[i.e. the Nazis] Our real opponents at heart will accept this simulated opposition as their own and will show us their cards." (Protocols of Zion 12.11)

The author of the Protocols writes that if any state raises an objection to Rothschild domination, "it is only pro forma, at our discretion, and by our direction, for their anti-Semitism is indispensable to us for the management of our lesser brethren." (Protocols of Zion 9)

"The Kopkow case is uniquely chilling because the MI6 men who spared him were colleagues and "handlers" of his victims. Among those whose torture and death he sanctioned were men and women of the SOE and MI6 agents."

    London Times May 15, 2005

"ONE of Hitler's top intelligence officers, who ordered the murders of more than 100 British secret agents in concentration camps, was spared execution as a war criminal and selected to work for MI6.

Newly opened papers contain startling evidence that in the postwar scramble to secure information about Russian communists, British Intelligence "turned" Horst Kopkow, faked his death and used him to fight the Cold War.

Evidence emerged in the 1980s that Britain had become a refuge for suspected war criminals, but few would have believed that the Government had gone even further and put a man like Kopkow on its books.

Details of how MI6 snatched Kopkow, 35, from war crimes investigators, inventing his fake death from "bronchopneumonia", are revealed in private papers made public only now. The papers belonged to Vera Atkins, a senior officer of the Special Operations Executive (SOE), Britain 's secret wartime body. After the war she mounted a one-woman investigation into the fate of her agents behind enemy lines.

The Atkins documents have been corroborated by newly declassified secret papers in the British and American National Archives. MI6 declined to comment on the Kopkow case.

However, intelligence sources indicated yesterday that the service itself was taken aback by the evidence. To date, Britain has denied that it engaged in the dark arts used by the Americans, whose employment of Nazis to catch Communists has been well-documented. British intelligence sources pointed out that Kopkow was not in the league of "the butcher of Lyons", a reference to Klaus Barbie, the most notorious war criminal employed by the Americans.

The Kopkow case is uniquely chilling because the MI6 men who spared him were colleagues and "handlers" of his victims. Among those whose torture and death he sanctioned were men and women of the SOE and MI6 agents.

While Kopkow's information may have been considered valuable, it was in fact useless. The head of MI6's Russian desk when Kopkow was captured was Kim Philby, exposed as a Soviet spy more than 15 years later.

Precisely how long Kopkow was employed by British Intelligence remains murky. German records state that he adopted the name Cordes and died in Gelsenkirchen in 1996."

    Illuminati British and Nazis Collaborated
    by Henry Makow Ph.D.

In the wake of D-Day June 6, 1944
, hundreds of acts of sabotage were committed by the French Resistance --- with one exception.

There were none in the north and north west where they mattered most.

There, the "Prosper" and related "Scientist" networks had been mopped by the Gestapo in 1943. Prosper's courageous young leader, Francis Anthony Suttill, 34, was languishing in a concentration camp.

He and scores of British agents were later executed, along with over 10,000 members of the French Resistance. One hundred and sixty plane loads of armaments --2600 containers -- including tons of sten guns and explosives, were seized by the Nazis. (193)

Who was responsible for this debacle?

According to BBC Producer Robert Marshall's thoroughly documented book, "All The King's Men" (Collins, 1988) the culprit was none other than the homosexual and Freemason, Deputy Head of MI-6, Sir Claude Edward Marjoribanks Dansey (1876-1947.)

Dansey deliberately placed a double agent, Henri Dericourt, at the heart of the Prosper organization. Dericourt, a French pilot, was responsible for organizing the nighttime shuttling of agents and materiel in and out of France.

He kept his handler, SS Sturmbannfuhrer Karl Baumelburg, head of counter sabotage in France, apprised of all the comings and goings, including the mail that passed back and forth. In return, the Gestapo allowed the operation to unfold which made Dericourt look very good indeed.

MI-6 placed their own man Nicolas Bodington in SOE to vouch for Dericourt and block all efforts by SOE to uncover the traitor. Bodington actually met with Baumelburg on a visit to Paris in 1943. They all had known each other before the war. It was Bodington who introduced Baumelburg to Delicourt.

After the war, Dericourt confirmed that he worked for Dansey. (151)

Why would MI-6 engage in this kind of treason?

Nazis In Ukraine? German TV Shows Ukrainian Soldiers Displaying Nazi Symbols

    By Dennis Lynch@neato_itsdennis

A German television station Monday night showed video of Ukrainian volunteer soldiers with Nazi symbols, which are outlawed in Germany, on their helmets. One soldier was seen with a Nazi swastika on his helmet and another had the distinctive lightning bolt-like runic symbol of the SS, which carried out the Holocaust and many other atrocities under Hitler.

The soldiers depicted are reportedly part of the Azov battalion, a volunteer force with a strong nationalist base. Oysten Bogen, a correspondent for Norway’s TV2, which shot the piece, said he asked a spokesman if there were any fascist elements in the volunteer forces just prior to taping the men and the spokesman replied:

“Absolutely not, we are just Ukrainian nationalists.”

Pro-government Russian media repeatedly have focused on Ukraine’s far right nationalism as a means of discrediting President Petro Poroshenko’s pro-European government and European integration supporters, known as the Euromaidan movement. Many ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine have cited what they call Kiev's Nazism as a reason to take up arms and fight to break from Ukraine.

See a full list of Ukraine's volunteer battalions here.

The Azov battalion is one of the more prominent volunteer units fighting separatist rebels in the east. It was founded by the Social-National Assembly, an alliance of far right and nationalist parties. Many Azov battalion members are openly nationalist and have been accused of being neo-Nazi, but most deny their ideology is fascist. The Azov battalion flag prominently displays a symbol resembling the Wolfsangel, or Wolf’s Hook, a prominent symbol within Nazism.

Strelkov: from swimming with Piranhas to swimming with Great White sharks

    INTRODUCTION:
Yesterday's press conference by Strelkov is, I believe, a historical moment because it marks the move of Strelkov from the Novorussian military struggle into the much larger, and far more dangerous struggle, the struggle for the political future of Russia. This in itself is no necessarily unexpected, but the way he did it was a surprise, at least for me. But before I zoom out to the bigger picture, I think that it would be helpful to try to summarize some of the key points of his presentation (thanks to Marina, you can download the full English transcript by clicking here and the Q&A is here). Here is how I summarized what I saw as the key elements of his presentation:

External factors (staging) - symbolic message:
    • He is clearly alive and well
    • The reason for his departure was infighting inside the Novorussian leadership and the fact that he was told that supplies would only be delivered if he left.
    • The photo of Putin in the back on the wall
    • He is sitting behind a Russian monarchist flag on the table (and a Russian and Novorussian flag in the back (no Soviet or Communists symbols)
His view about the ceasefire agreement:
    • This ceasefire has now created military situation is now worse than this spring
    • What is disgraceful is not the ceasefire by itself but "the conditions which are now being discussed in Minks"
    • There is plan to blame the betrayal of Novorussia on Putin
    • There are powerful interests which want a never ending war which would create a bleeding ulcer for Russia
His description of the 5th column:
    • The roots of this 5th column go back to the Eltsin years
    • The liberation of Crimea took the 5th column by surprise
    • The 5th column is around President
    • There is a local 5th column in Donbass which has been and still is negotiating with Ukie oligarchs
    • The 5th column is composed of "liberals"
    • Putin is a moral threat to them because he has massive popular support
    • They want to overthrow Putin
    • They want to dismember Russia
    • This will be a long war on Russia
    • We are dealing with another 1905 and 1917 like situation
    • By saving Novorussia Russia can save itself
    • Western sanctions will hurt Russia and they will use them to discredit Putin
    Strelkov's plans
    • Strelkov wants to fight inside Russia in support of Putin (only option)
    • Strelkov's main objective is to denounce the real traitors inside Russia
This is my personal rendition of the key elements of Strelkov's presentation, and I might have missed or misunderstood something, so I therefore encourage everybody to watch to the video again and read the transcript.

ZOOMING OUT TO THE GREATER CONTEXT:
Before going further into my analysis of Strelkov's statements, I think that it is crucial to keep the bigger context in mind. His words are not just the words of a man speaking for the Novorussian Armed Forces (NAF) or a Novorussia hero, this time Strelkov is diving straight into the big and dangerous world of Russian "deep state" politics (though the term "deep state" does not really apply to Russia). So I will now return to a topic I have been covering for many years now.

Long-time readers will probably recall that I often spoke of a behind-the-scenes struggle between what I called the "Eurasian Sovereignists" (ES) and the "Atlantic Integrationists" (AI). I will not repeat it all here, but I do encourage you to read the following articles:
The two first articles are part of a much longer seven-part series on Islam, but they introduce the historical context of the development of the ES and AI factions. The next two I would consider mandatory reading if you are not familiar with the topic and the last one is just a more recent discussion of the role of these two factions in the current Cold War v2. Having said that, my key thesis is this:

The "5th column" Strelkov refers to are the very same people I call Atlantic Integrationists.
Strelkov names no names, but he describes them very accurately (see above) and he adds that they only value "money and other material resources". They are the Russian equivalent of the AngloZionist 1%ers. Their main political goal is to fully integrate Russia into the AngloZionist international system on a financial, political, economic and cultural levels. They see Russia as "European" and they believe that "the West" (i.e. the AngloZionist Empire) and Russia need to stand together against Islam, China and any other non-imperial ideology, religion, nation or alliance. They believe in capitalism and they are opposed to a "social state" (to use Putin's description of modern Russia) and they are systematically contemptuous of the "masses" though they try hard not to show this aspect of their worldview. These are the folks who gradually took power during the 1980s and who had the predatory instincts to seize the moment in the early 1990s to rapidly and ruthlessly acquire an absolutely unimaginable amount of wealth, stolen from the Russian people.

Now, it is true that due to an absolutely brilliant move by the Russian security services during the late 1990s and thanks to the chaos in which Russia was plunged, these AI (aka 5th columnists) did make a fatal mistake. Their plan was to put forward a rather uninspiring and dull bureaucrat into power and surround him by men coming from their own circles. What they did not foresee is that this rather uninspiring and dull bureaucrat would turn into one of the most formidable statesmen in Russian history - Putin - and that he would immediately set out to decapitate the top layers of the AI - the so-called "oligarchs" and the thugs who enforced their rule - and their armed branch- the Chechen Wahabi insurgency. Putin acted so fast that he rapidly ended up in full control of the so-called "power ministries" (state security, presidential security, internal affairs, armed forces, emergency services) and, which is crucial, an immense popular support. In a way, this combination of state power and popular support made Putin untouchable, but that also limited his power.

While the top and most notorious AI columnists either left Russia (Berezovsky) or were put in jail (Khodorkovsky) or died, the system they had created was still very much in place. Banking, the natural resources industry, the weapons trade, financial services and, of course, the media were still very much in their hands. So when the most arrogant one of them, Khodorkovsky, was jailed the two factions (ES and AI) achieved something of a compromise, a temporary ceasefire if you wish. The deal was this: first, as long as they don't try to take over the Kremlin and generally stay out of politics, the AI would be allowed to keep their wealth and continue to make huge profits; second, the top power would be shared between the ES (Putin, Rogozin, Patrushev, etc.) and the AI (Medvedev, Kudrin, Surkov, etc.).

The first big blow which Putin delivered against the AI was the firing of Serdiukov and, even "worse", his replacement with Shoigu. The second massive blow was, according to Strelkov (and I agree), the operation to liberate Crimea. According to Strelkov, this operation was a huge blow to the interests of these 5th columnist because they immediately realized that it would set Russia and the AngloZionists on a collision course. They therefore gathered all their forces to a) prevent a Russian military intervention in the Donbass and b) make a deal with the oligarchs now in power in Kiev. I fully share this analysis.

    Russian vs Novorussian strategic interests
Here comes the tricky part. There are a few assumption made by many bloggers which are the result of a fundamental flaws in logic:
    • Russian and Novorussian interests are one and the same
    • Anything supported by the AI is bad for Russia
    • Putin is in full control and can do whatever he wants
    • Novorussian leaders are always right by virtue of their heroic struggle
    • Disagreeing with Novorussian leader is a sign of stupidity, betrayal or dishonesty (including for Putin himself)
Reality is not quite that simple. For one thing, Russian and Novorussian interests are not only one and the same, they are in direct opposition on a crucial matter: Novorussia wants full independence from Kiev (whoever is in power) while Russia wants regime change in Kiev and maintain a unitary Ukraine. Second, while the fact that Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs are trying to hammer out a deal to stop the war and maintain a unitary Ukraine this might or might not be bad for Russia. Now, before I get accused of God only knows what, let me explain:

During the late 1980s and the 1990s a bizarre kind of "partial fusion" took place between the Russian mob and the KGB. I know, sounds crazy, but it is nonetheless true and yours truly has personally seen it and personally met ex-KGB officers working in the Russian mob. However, as some say, there is no such thing as an "ex-KGB" officer. Well, in reality there is, but in most cases, at least informal contacts are maintained. So here is how I would very roughly summarize this bizarre association:

In the 1980s: corrupt KGB officers realize that a lot of money can be made in the underworld and some official of the internal security branch of the KGB (2nd Main Directorate) found ways to profit from tight contacts with the mob.

In the early 1990: a lot of young and smart KGB officers realize that their skills are useless in the KGB, they resign and immediately find very good positions in the "New Russian" world (at that time 100% mobsters) and use their skills (language, education, work capability, courage) to make loads of money

These were terrible years for the KGB/FSB, but they also had one positive impact: the more corrupt and less patriotic officers left leaving many idealists behind them, idealists which would, with time, climb up the ranks.

Now here comes the really interesting part:

In the mid 1990s-2000: the successor to the KGB, the SVR and FSB came to realize that they had a fantastic network of potential collaborators in the newly created world of Russian business, finance, commerce, tourism, etc. They act on this and begin use this mostly "ex-mob now turned legit" worldwide network for state security purposes and industrial/commercial espionage. Even the military intelligence service, the GRU, begins to do the same with ex-officers now working in aerospace, electronics, communications, etc.

[Off-topic but interesting sidebar: there is another most valuable network which the SVR/FSB/GRU also began to use during this period: the huge number of Jews from Russia who emigrated to the USA and Israel. Keep that in mind when you think about Russian-Israeli relations]

2000-today: Putin and his backers begin their behind the scenes secret but ruthless war on the Atlantic Integrationists who are fundamentally oppose to the Eurasian Sovereignists who are now firmly behind Putin. Most importantly the security services who are controlled by Putin allies develop a network of potential supporters inside the basis of power of the Atlantic Integrationists. See how complex that becomes?

So while some superficial analysts are correct when they say that the Russian oligarchs are generally 5th columnists and dangerous enemies of Putin, what they are missing is that a) not all oligarchs fall into this category and b) that Putin has the means to influence or even coerce some anti-Putin oligarchs thanks to his control of the security services and their network inside the oligarchs power base.

So here is the crucial point: the relationship between the Kremlin and the Russian oligarchy is a very complex one. Yes, by and large, it is correct to say that we have Putin, the security services, the military, the common Russian people on one side and the oligarchs, the liberal intelligentsia, big business, banking, finance and CIA agents on the other. But in reality, this is a primitive model, the reality is infinitely more complex. I know I am going to get even more hate coming my way for saying that, but some oligarchs are (for whatever reason) Putin allies or Putin controlled-individuals. I have met some personally in the late 1990s and I am quite sure that they are still there. Why?

Because there is a lot of money to be made in Russia by being on Putin's side. For one thing, if you are in good terms with the Kremlin, you become untouchable for the rest of the more-or-less legal "business" world. You also get juicy contracts. And the tax authorities might not be as meticulous when you file for taxes. Again, the black-and-white Putin vs oligarchs image is generally true, but only as a primitive model.

ZOOMING BACK IN TO STRELKOV'S PRESS CONFERENCE
Let's remember where Strelkov came from. While little is certain about him, he appears to be an ex-FSB Colonel (in anti-terrorism), who fought as a volunteer in Yugoslavia, Transnistria and Chechnia. He is also a historian, a columnist and he likes to participate in military recreations. He is a monarchist, an Orthodox Christian and and admirer of the White movement during the civil war. In Novorussia, however, he entered a totally different level jumping in one rapid, gigantic most successful leap from anti-terrorism Colonel to what could be roughly described as an divisional or even army corp commander who turned a volunteer militia force into a more or less regular army. That is a huge feat: From almost nobody he became the #1 hero and commander of the entire Novorussian resistance. And yet, Novorussia is tiny compared to Russia and big Novorussian politics are tiny compared to big Russian politics. And yet, in yesterday's press conference Strelkov made yet another huge leap - he jumped from Novorussian military issues straight into the single most complex and dangerous struggle I can imagine: the secret behind-the-scenes struggle for power in the Kremlin. It is far too early to tell if this move will be as successful as his previous one, Strelkov went from swimming with Piranhas to swimming with Great White sharks, but I am cautiously optimistic. Here is why:

Strelkov's potential in the Russian struggle for power
Putin is acutely aware of the fact that his official power base (the state apparatus) is chock-full of 5th columnists. The best proof for that is that he did two very interesting things:

    a) He created the All-Russia People's Front (ARPF) which unlike the official party in power, United Russia, was not created with a strong Medvedev/Atlantic Integrationist component, but was created by Putin alone. Officially, the ARPF is not a party but a "political-social movement" which is supposed to bring together a large segment of generally pro-Kremlin organizations and individuals and to provide a way for the common people to convey their concerns to Putin. In reality, however, it is also a "political party in waiting", very large, very well connected and which Putin can "turn on" at any time, especially if challenged from inside United Russia.

    b) Putin's security services have contributed to the creation of a plethora of "near-Kremlin entities" (околокремлевские круги) which officially have no subordination to the Kremlin, but which can get a lot of things done without the government involved or, even, informed. These near-Kremlin entities include some news outlets, some commercial entities, a number of clubs, some youth organizations, news agencies, etc. There is no formal list, no admission procedure, no one leader. But somehow, there are always people with contacts to the security agencies near or in these circles.

This is were Strelkov fits in.

Strelkov will first and foremost represent the interests of the people of Novorussia, but since he correctly identified the Russian 5th column as the main threat to Novorussia, he also is objectively becoming an ally of Putin in a common struggle against the Atlantic Integrationists. Now, let us be clear here. Strelkov and Putin will not agree on a number of issues. Strelkov clearly indicated that when he said
"No matter how critical I am about certain internal or external policy decision of president in conditions of war started against us, I consider it necessary to support him as the only legitimate superior commander the main guarantor of freedom and independence of the state"
The fact that he concluded that Putin must be supported does not change the fact that he is clearly very critical of some Putin decisions. My guess is that the obvious areas of disagreement are:

    a) The ceasefire and subsequent negotiations
    b) The fact that Putin does with with some Russian oligarchs
    c) That Putin wants a united Ukraine

These disagreements are normal and should not be interpreted as the sign of some kind of opposition. Again, Novorussia and Russia simply have different interests.

But where Strelkov and Putin are in full agreement is the need to crush the 5th column. Putin was the first to speak about a "Russian 5th column" (when he addressed the Federal Assembly) and Strelkov picked up his expression. This 5th column of Atlantic Integrationists are a mortal danger to both Putin and Strelkov and, as Strelkov correctly points out, Putin is a mortal danger to them. When Strelkov speaks of a "Putin revolution" and of a "Russian Spring" he is referring to the very same struggle which I in the past described as a struggle of Atlantic Integrationists against the Eurasian Sovereignists. The labels are different, but the process described is the same one.

In this context Strelkov could become a very powerful ally for Putin. By speaking up for Novorussia Strelkov is also very clearly promoting the same ideology, the same worldview, as Putin. In fact, I recommend to you all to take the time and listen to (or read)
Putin, Zakharchenko and Strelkov all three fully realize that what is going on is nothing shot of a war on Russia, but waged, at least for the time being, by non-military means. All three know that the biggest threat to Russia is an internal one. But all three can claim that the other two do not speak for him. After all, one is the President of Russia, the second one is a top representative of Donetsk and Novorussia, while the third one is, technically speaking, a retired officer and a private individual. Yet all three together are politically encircling the Russian 5th column into a "political cauldron" in which they either support Putin or look like traitors. A potentially very effective technique.

The second role of Strelkov is to denounce and discredit the Putin-bashers who are constantly declaring that "Putin is backstabbing or betraying Novorussia". I predict that in a near future the very same circles who until now had taken the position that Putin is a villain and Strelkov a hero will declare that Strelkov is a villain and a traitor too. Some of these guys are manipulated by western PSYOP specialists, others are simply paid by them, but their goal is to convince the world that Putin is the bad guy and that a "real" patriot needs to replace him. In other words, that Russia can only be saved by making the AngloZionist dream of a regime change in Russia come true. But then, these are the very same people who wanted to save Novorussia by making the other AngloZionist dream, of having an overt Russian military intervention in the Donbass, also come true. My advice in regards to such "sorrow-patriots" as they are called in Russia is simple: beware of those who want to save Russia by making an AngloZionist dream come true. If you keep that in mind, the enemies of Russia will be fairly easy to spot :-)

    CONCLUSION
I was amazed and tremendously encouraged by Strelkov's very sophisticated presentation of his position yesterday. Though this might be too early to conclude, and I might be uncharacteristically optimistic about this, I believe that Strelkov has the potential to become the Novorussian leader I was hoping would emerge. If that is so, then I will gladly plead guilty of having underestimated him. Still, I will also admit that I am very concerned for him. The fact that apparently the Russia media has given his press conference little or no attention combined with the rumor that he had killed himself is a powerful message sent to him by the 5th column who is showing how powerful it still is. In particular, I consider the rumor about his suicide as a very serious death threat. Even worse, and maybe these are my paranoid inclination speaking here, there are a lot of people on both sides who might be interested in seeing Strelkov killed. The Atlantic Integrationists and their 5th column would want him dead because he is so openly denouncing them, but make no mistake, there could also be Eurasian Sovereignists who might want him dead to have him as a martyr and symbol of Russian heroism. Is that cynical and ugly? Yes. And so is the struggle for power in Russia. Most people in the West have no idea how ruthless this struggle can be. Unlike Putin, Strelkov is not protected by an extremely powerful state security apparatus and, considering that he can be hit from either side. He better be very *very* careful.

Just for accepting to play the role he is playing now (and he, being an ex-FSB colonel, fully knows the risks) I consider him a hero and he has my sincere admiration. "They" will try to use him, threaten him, manipulate him, discredit him and use every dirty trick possible to either control him or crush him. Truly, his fate is already a tragic one and his courage remarkable. Fighting the Ukie Nazis, the Chechen Wahabis or the Croat Ustashe was a relaxing vacation compared to the kind of "warfare" going on in the struggle for the control of Russia. Since Russia is the de-facto leader of both the BRICS and the SCO the struggle for Russia is really a struggle for the future of the planet. I believe that Strelkov understands that.

I wonder if this Islamic State craziness has to do with mind control and programming of people under MK-Ultra type of mind control. Whether it is mind control described (true or false) by James Casbolt in the Janus-End-Times programing (given that program is real) or if it is mind control as described by Hubbard in the Philadelphia Doctorate Course lectures, of hypnotizing a person and make him be a "target person" and manipulate the target person as instructed by the hypnotizer. In this case, the US military would have whole armies of this mind control operatives to stage the ISIS threat mainly staffed by people from France, the UK, the US and even some spaniards.

    Dear All,
I am sorry if I sound dispirited but I have just been listening to some wise individual on George Noory’s show who is advocating use of overwhelming force including nuclear weapons against ISIS. I despair. Surely we have learned by now that violence begets violence. We are currently facing about ten thousand nutters in a patch of desert who are doing everything they can to outrage us. We British have a long history of responding to Terror in a restrained, intelligent and moderate way and so hopefully we would not fall into the trap of reacting to atrocities by perpetrating far worse atrocities, as is being proposed.

If you subscribe to the theory that the actions of the USA are fundamentally evil and destabilising, it would appear that the strategy rather than being extremely incompetent is in fact to do everything possible to help ISIS.
Firstly I regard it as very suspicious beyond negligence that so many modern weapons have found their way into their hands. The CIA etc employs legions of highly trained analysts who should have been able to prevent this happening.
The strategy appears to be to morph ISIS from a near insignificant group into a pan-Sunni army and therefore trigger the great sectarian conflict that has been building in the Middle East.
How to achieve this from such a small starting point?
    a) We have Mr O pledging that he will bomb Syria without consultation with the Assad regime. We can expect to hear whistle blowers stating that they were secretly given Syrian Government targets. The strategy will be to decimate any group offering local resistance to ISIS while pretending to help them.
    b) IF western troops go in, which appears to be starting, this fact alone will begin the process of tipping a large part of the Sunni world into the ISIS camp because these troops will be ‘invaders’ or ‘crusaders’.
    c) IF there are any air strikes that demonstrably kill innocent people, it will be that much harder for a Sunni to deny that they are facing a Satanic enemy. I fear that the scale of the murder would not need to be as much as Gaza or Donetsk. In the fog of war these things inevitably happen and could be characterised as accidental.
My concern is that we are drifting into catastrophe, and people do not realize that should regimes like Saudi or Egypt deploy their (Sunni) troops , they may prove as ineffective as the Iraqis have. We could witness a re-enactment of the conquests of the 7th century. Do not forget that the Saudi army is largely foreign mercenary, and the Saudi people know in their hearts that their rulers are corrupt. Saudi is a huge arms dump.
    HOW TO ARREST THIS PROCESS?
    1. We need to step up and admit that trying to destroy Syria was an error. If Assad pledges elections we should help him, and advocate a truce with non ISIS rebels and an amnesty.
    2. We need to try to encourage the Iraqis to bring as many Sunnis into their forces and government as possible.
    3. We need to include the message that rising to provocations from terrorists is a sign of weakness into our Media propaganda
    4. We need a rapprochement & consultation with the Russians and Iranians.
    5. Any air strikes in support of local allies should be small and pin point. Avoid human shielded targets.
    6. We need to try and stop ISIS benefitting from Oil income.
    7. We need clarity in countries like the UK in terms of their stance towards returning lapsed Jihadis. We need to encourage them to return-even rescue them-and maximise them as a propaganda asset.
    8. We need to remember that we are still facing a small problem. The only way it could become a large one is if we make mistakes.

15 Syrian children dead following UN measles vaccination campaign

The UN has halted a measles vaccination campaign in northern Syria after at least 15 children died after receiving shots, the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed in a joint statement.

“UNICEF and WHO have been shocked and saddened to learn of the deaths of at least 15 young children in Idlib, Syria,” the statement said. “The deaths of the children occurred in areas where a measles immunization campaign had been under way.”

The children were all under the age of two, Reuters reported, citing aid workers.

Around one hour after being given a second round of the measles vaccine in Idlib on Tuesday, the children demonstrated signs of “severe allergic shock,” said Abdullah Ajaj, a physician administering the vaccinations at a medical center in Jarjanaz, according to AP. The second round of vaccinations began in Idlib and Deir Ezzour on Monday.

Following the vaccine, some of the children’s bodies swelled and they suffocated to death.

“There was shouting and screaming, it was hard for the parents. You get your child vaccinated and then you find your child dying, it’s very hard,” Ajaj said.

Conflicting statements from the Syrian opposition and reports from rights groups have put the number of vaccine-related deaths between 34 and 50.

The WHO said it is sending a team of experts to investigate the incidents, adding that “establishing the precise cause of the children’s deaths is vital.”

The immunization campaign has been suspended in both Idlib and Deir Ezzour provinces. However, UNICEF and the WHO are hopeful that the campaign could resume “as soon as possible.”

    Reuters / Hosam Katan

While it is believed that measles outbreaks can effectively be contained by vaccinations, they can be very dangerous in undeveloped areas. The disease is transmitted through bodily fluids, coughing, and tears from the eyes.

UN agencies and other non-government organizations have been providing medical services in Syria since the uprising against President Bashar Assad began in March 2011.

The Syrian conflict has since turned into a full-scale civil war, with more than 190,000 people killed, according to UN.

On Tuesday, Assad said the fight against terrorism must begin by placing more pressure on countries which are supporting and financing insurgents in Syria and Iraq.

Meanwhile, the US announced that it has plans to take “targeted actions against ISIS (Islamic State/ISIL) safe havens in Syria,” including striking infrastructure. US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel unveiled a plan to boost Iraqi forces with 1,600 US “military advisers.”

The US will also train and equip 5,000 members of the Syrian opposition to fight militants from the Islamic State group.

That blog, The Vineyard of the Saker (vineyardsaker.blogspot.com) appears to me to be the finest commentary on what's going on with Russia and areas near by that I've ever seen. I am presently enjoying reading this post of April 2014 from that site: A new Cold War has begun - let us embrace it with relief! (one of the ones linked from your post as well.)

Granted, I have no Russian heritage, and hardly any more Russian expertise, so my recommendation carries little weight. If there any member with more Russian expertise happens by here, I'd like their perspective on this blog and these matters.

Senate Passes Bill Declaring Israel as ‘Major Strategic Partner’
    SEPTEMBER 19, 2014

    The United States Senate.

JNS.org – The U.S. Senate unanimously adopted the United States-Israel Strategic Partnership Act on Thursday evening. The bipartisan bill, which declares Israel to be a “major strategic partner,” was authored by Sens. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Roy Blunt (R-MO) and had 81 co-sponsors.

“America’s long-standing relationship and strong cooperation with Israel dates back to the presidency of fellow Missourian Harry S. Truman,” Blunt said in a statement.

Besides generally elevating the status of the U.S.-Israel relationship, the bill expands the Jewish state’s trade status to expedite export licensing, increases cooperation on energy and other technologies, maintains Israel’s qualitative military edge in the Middle East, and increases U.S. weapons stockpiles in Israel as well as Israeli access to them.

But notably left out of the bill is Israel’s inclusion into the U.S. visa waiver program, which has been held up over concerns about Israelis overstaying visas in the U.S. as well as objections by the U.S. State Department over Israeli border policies, which State has called “discriminatory.”

At the same time, a congressional source told the Jerusalem Post that the visa waiver program has become controversial in Congress in recent weeks for reasons “entirely unrelated to Israel,” but instead “because of what is going on with ISIS (Islamic State).”

The “major strategic partner” bill has been promoted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and a similar bill was passed by the U.S. House in March.

“This bill will dramatically strengthen and expand the U.S.-Israel alliance as a way to confront new threats and challenges in the Middle East,” AIPAC said in a statement.

Who Makes Up the "Islamic Emirate"?

    by Thierry Meyssan

While Western public opinion is fed information about the constitution of a purported international coalition to fight against the "Islamic Emirate", the latter changes shape discreetly. Its principal officers are no longer Arab, but Georgian and Chinese. For Thierry Meyssan, this mutation shows that NATO ultimately intends to use the "Islamic Emirate" in Russia and in China. Therefore, both countries must act now against the jihadists before they return to sow chaos in their countries of origin.

    VOLTAIRE NETWORK | BEIRUT (LEBANON) | 22 SEPTEMBER 2014

The "Islamic Emirate" initially displayed its Arab origin. This organization sprang from "Al-Qaeda in Iraq" who fought not the US invaders, but Iraqi Shiites. It became the "Islamic Emirate in Iraq" and the "Islamic Emirate in Iraq and the Levant." In October 2007, the US Army seized 606 records of foreign members of this organization near Sinjar. The records were inventoried and examined by experts from the Military Academy at West Point.

However, a few days after the seizure, Emir al-Baghdadi said his organization included only 200 fighters and they were all Iraqis. This lie is comparable to that of other terrorist organizations in Syria who say they enrol only incidentally a few foreigners, while the Syrian Arab Army estimated at at least 250,000 the number of foreign jihadists who fought in Syria over the past three years. Moreover, Caliph Ibrahim (the new name of Amir al-Baghdadi) now claims that his organization is composed largely of foreigners and that Syrian territory is no longer for the Syrians and the Iraqi territory is no longer for Iraqis, but they are for his jihadists.

According to records seized in Sinjar, 41% of foreign terrorists members of the "Islamic Emirate of Iraq" were Saudi nationals, 18.8% were Libyans, and only 8.2% were Syrians. If these figures are related to the population of each country, the people of Libya provided proportionately 2 times more fighters than that of Saudi Arabia and five times more than that of Syria.

Regarding Syrian jihadists, their origin was dispersed in the country, but 34, 3% came from the city of Deir ez-Zor, which since the withdrawal of the "Islamic Emirate" of Raqqa, became the capital of the Caliphate.

In Syria, Deir ez-Zor has the distinction of being populated predominantly by Sunni Arabs organized into tribes, and by Kurdish and Armenian minorities. However, until now, the United States has been only able to destroy states in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya, that is to say, countries where the population is organised into tribes. They have failed elsewhere. From this point of view, Deir ez-Zor in particular and the North East of Syria in general can therefore potentially be conquered, but not the rest of the country, as seen over the past three years.

Tarkhan Batirashvili, Sergeant of Georgian military intelligence, has become one of the main leaders of the "Islamic Emirate" under the assumed name of Abu Omar al-Shishani.
For the past two weeks, a purge is affecting Maghreb officers. Thus, Tunisians who took the Raqqa military airport on August 25 were arrested for disobedience, judged and executed by their superiors. The "Islamic Emirate" means to put its Arab fighters in their place and promote Chechen officers kindly provided by the Georgian secret services.

Abu al-Khazakhi Anisah, first Chinese jihadist of the "Islamic Emirate" killed in action (center of photo) was not Uighur, but Kazakh.
Another category of jihadist has emerged: the Chinese. Since June, the United States and Turkey have transported hundreds of Chinese fighters and their families to northeastern Syria. Some of them immediately became officers. They are mostly Uighurs, Chinese from the Peoples Republic, but Sunni Muslims and speakers of Turk.

Therefore, it is clear that, ultimately, the "Islamic Emirate" will expand its operations to Russia and to China, both countries are its ultimate targets.

We will definitely see a new NATO publicity campaign: its aviation will push the jihadists out of Iraq and leave them to settle in Deir ez-Zor. The CIA will provide money, weapons, ammunition and information to "revolutionary Syrian moderates" (sic) of the FSA, which will then change hats for use under the banner of the "Islamic Emirate", as has been the case since May of 2013.

John McCain and the chiefs of the Free Syrian Army. In the left foreground, Ibrahim al-Badri, with which the Senator is talking. Next, Brigadier General Salim Idris (with glasses).
At the time, Senator John McCain came to Syria illegally to meet the chiefs of staff of the FSA. According to the photograph then distributed to attest to the meeting, the staff included a certain Abu Youssef, officially sought by the US State Department under the name Abu Du’a, in reality the current Caliph Ibrahim. Thus, the same man was - both and at the same time - a moderate leader in the FSA and an extremist leader in the "Islamic Emirate".

With this information, one can appreciate at its true value the document presented to the Security Council on July 14 by the Syrian Ambassador, Bashar Jaafari. This is a letter from the commander-in-chief of the FSA, Salim Idriss and dated January 17, 2014. It reads: "I hereby inform you that this ammunition sent by the chiefs of staff to leaders of the revolutionary military councils of the Eastern Region must be distributed in accordance with what was agreed upon: two-thirds to the warlords of the el-Nosra front, the remaining third to be distributed between the military and the revolutionary elements in the fight against the bands of IEIL (Islamic Emirate in Iraq and the Levant). We thank you for sending us the proof of delivery of all ammunition, specifying the quantities and qualities, duly signed by the leaders and warlords in person, so we can forward them to the Turkish and French partners. "In other words, two NATO powers (Turkey and France) have delivered ammunition for two thirds to the Al-Nosra Front (classified as a member of al-Qaeda by the Security Council) and one third to the FSA so that it can fight against the "Islamic Emirate", headed by one of its senior officers. In fact, the FSA has disappeared on the ground and the munitions were therefore intended for two-thirds to al-Qaeda and one third to the "Islamic Emirate".

With this dual role device, NATO will be able to continue to launch its hordes of jihadists against Syria while claiming to fight them.

However, when NATO has installed chaos everywhere in the Arab world, including its Saudi ally, it will turn the "Islamic Emirate" against the two great developing powers, Russia and China. That is why these two powers should intervene now and nip in the bud this private army being constituted and trained by NATO in the Arab world. Otherwise, Moscow and Beijing will soon have to confront it on their own soil.

U.S. enters Syrian civil war without Congressional approval

The president takes imperial action to make war without the approval of the country or their representatives.

Last night, at the sole discretion of President Barack Obama, the United States officially entered the Syrian civil war and launched attacks in that sovereign nation. The president had neither obtained authorization from the U.S. Congress, nor permission from the Syrian state’s current government.

The offensive, launched in secret on , included a mix of fighter jets and bomber aircraft, accompanied by a barrage of ship-launched Tomahawk missiles, confirmed Pentagon press secretary John Kirby.

Military commanders intended to strike as many as 20 targets in the operation, primarily belonging to the Islamic State group, or “ISIS.” The U.S. began attacking that group on August 8th, 2014 — but in Iraq, not Syria.

While the U.S. Congress recently voted to provide armaments to Syrian rebels, it did not vote for direct military strikes. Nonetheless, President Obama acted without reservation and said he would not hesitate to commit more attacks in the future.

“It’s irresponsible and immoral that instead of debating and voting on war, congressional leaders chose to recess Congress for nearly two months,” said Congressman Justin Amash (R-MI), following the breaking news of the offensive. “ISIS is evil, but that fact alone doesn’t give the president authority to launch offensive strikes in Syria or Iraq. Under our Constitution, it is the responsibility of Congress to commence war.”

“Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Reid should immediately call Congress back into session,” Rep. Amash added.

The president’s actions represent a glaring case of hypocrisy when compared to his own stance taken while campaigning for the office of president. According to him, before being elected, it would be illegal to launch an attack without Congressional approval.

“The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation,” said Obama in 2007.

It appears that President Obama has either changed his mind, or perhaps has been coerced by some external influence. His actions put him squarely in line with a number of other U.S. presidents that have ignored the law and acted unilaterally.

The constitution is clear regarding the requirement of Congressional approval before the President can make war. Americans that tolerate this usurpation of power do so at their own peril, as the presidency becomes more imperious, particularly when it comes to ending thousands of lives using the military.

US taxpayers funding the war (willingly or unwillingly) must be deemed accomplices to the crime. US taxpayers protesting the use of their taxes for war should be released of the charges on war crimes.

The Russian response to a double declaration of war

    Saturday, September 27, 2014

Quote I am sorry that it took me over 6400 words to explain all that, but in a society were most "thoughts" are expressed as "tweets" and analyses as Facebook posts, it was a daunting task to try to shed some light to what is turning to be a deluge of misunderstandings and misconceptions, all made worse by the manipulation of the social media. I feel that 60'000 words would be more adequate to this task as it is far easier to just throw out a short and simple slogan than to refute its assumptions and implications.
    The Saker

The context: a double declaration of war

Listening to Poroshenko a few days ago and then to Obama at the UNGA can leave no doubt whatsoever about the fact that the AngloZionist Empire is at war with Russia. Yet many believe that the Russian response to this reality is inadequate. Likewise, there is a steady stream of accusations made against Putin about Russia's policy towards the crisis in the Ukraine. What I propose to do here is to offer a few basic reminders about Putin, his obligations and his options.

First and foremost, Putin was never elected to be the world's policeman or savior, he was only elected to be president of Russia. Seems obvious, but yet many seem to assume that somehow Putin is morally obliged to do something to protect Syria, Novorussia or any other part of our harassed world. This is not so. Yes, Russia is the de facto leader of the BRICS and SCO countries, and Russia accepts that fact, but Putin has the moral and legal obligation to care for his own people first.

Second, Russia is now officially in the crosshairs of the AngloZionist Empire which includes not only 3 nuclear countries (US, UK, FR) but also the most powerful military force (US+NATO) and the world's biggest economies (US+EU). I think that we can all agree that the threat posed by such an Empire is not trivial and that Russia is right in dealing with it very carefully.

Sniping at Putin and missing the point
Now, amazingly, many of those who accuse Putin of being a wimp, a sellout or a naive Pollyanna also claim that the West is preparing nuclear war on Russia. If that is really the case, this begs the question: if that is really the case, if there is a real risk of war, nuclear or not, is Putin not doing the right thing by not acting tough or threatening? Some would say that the West is bent on a war no matter what Putin does. Okay, fair enough, but in that case is his buying as much time as possible before the inevitable not the right thing to do?!

Third, on the issue of the USA vs ISIL, several comment here accused Putin of back-stabbing Assad because Russia supported the US Resolution at the UNSC.

And what was Putin supposed to do?! Fly the Russian Air Force to Syria to protect the Syrian border? What about Assad? Did he scramble his own air force to try to stop the US or has he quietly made a deal: bomb "them" not us, and I shall protest and do nothing about it? Most obviously the latter.

In fact, Putin and Assad have exactly the same position: protest the unilateral nature of the strikes, demand a UN Resolution while quietly watching how Uncle Sam turned on his own progeny and now tries to destroy them.

I would add that Lavrov quite logically stated that there are no "good terrorists". He knows that ISIL is nothing but a continuation of the US-created Syrian insurgency, itself a continuation of the US-created al-Qaeda. From a Russian point of view, the choice is simple: what is better, for the US to use its forces and men to kill crazed Wahabis or have Assad do it? And if ISIL is successful in Iraq, how long before they come back to Chechnia? Or Crimea? Or Tatarstan? Why should any Russian or Syria soldier risk death when the USAF is willing to do that for them?

While there is a sweet irony in the fact that the US now has to bomb it's own creation, let them do that. Even Assad was clearly forewarned and he obviously is quite happy about that.

Finally, UN or no UN, the US had already taken the decision to bomb ISIL. So what is the point of blocking a perfectly good UN Resolution? That would be self-defeating. In fact, this Resolution can even be used by Russia to prevent the US and UK from serving as a rear base for Wahabi extremists (this resolution bans that, and we are talking about a mandatory, Chapter VII, UNSC Resolution).

And yet, some still say that Putin threw Assad under the bus. How crazy and stupid can one get to have that kind of notion about warfare or politics? And if Putin wanted to toss Assad under the bus, why did he not do that last year?

    Sincere frustration or intellectual dishonesty?
But that kind of nonsense about the Syria is absolutely dwarfed by the kind of truly crazy stuff some people post about Novorussia. Here are my favorite ones. The author begins by quoting me:
"This war has never been about Novorussia or about the Ukraine."
    and then continues:
That statement is too vacuous and convenient as a copout. Do you really mean to say that the thousands of people murdered by shelling, the thousands of young Ukrainian conscripts put through the meat grinder, the thousands of homes destroyed, the more than 1 million people who have turned into refugees... NONE of that has anything to do with Novorussia and Ukraine? That this is only about Russia? Really, one would wish you'd refrain from making silly statements like that.
The only problem being, of course, that I never made it in the first place :-)

Of course, it is rather obvious that I meant that FOR THE ANGLOZIONIST EMPIRE the goal has never been the Ukraine or Novorussia, but a war on Russia. All Russia did was to recognize this reality. Again, the words "do you really mean to say that" clearly show that the author is going to twist what I said, make yet another strawman, and then indignantly denounce me for being a monster who does not care about the Ukraine or Novorussia (the rest of the comment was in the same vein: indignant denunciations of statements I never made and conclusions I never reached).

I have already grown used to the truly remarkable level of dishonesty of the Putin-bashing crowd and by now I consider it par for the course. But I wanted to illustrate that one more time just to show that at least in certain cases an honest discussion is not the purpose at all. But I don't want to bring it all down to just a few dishonest and vociferous individuals. There are also many who are sincerely baffled, frustrated and even disappointed with Russia's apparent passivity. Here is an excerpt of an email I got this morning:
I guess I was really hoping that perhaps Russia, China The BRICS would be a counter force. What I fail to understand is why after all the demonisation by the U.S and Europe doesn't Russia retaliate. The sanctions imposed by the West is hurting Russia and yet they still trade oil in euros/dollars and are bending over backwards to accommodate Europe. I do not understand why they do not say lift all sanctions or no gas. China also says very little against the U.S , even though they fully understand that if Russian is weakened they are next on the list. As for all the talk of lifting the sanctions on Iran that is farcical as we all know Israel will never allow them to be lifted. So why do China and Russia go along with the whole charade. Sometimes I wonder if we are all being played, and this is all one big game , which no chance of anything changing.
In this case the author correctly sees that Russia and China follow a very similar policy which sure looks like an attempt to appease the US. In contrast to the previous comment, here the author is both sincere and truly distressed.

In fact, I believe that what I am observing are three very different phenomena all manifesting themselves at the same time:

    1) An organized Putin-bashing campaign initiated by US/UK government branches tasked with manipulating the social media.

    2) A spontaneous Putin-bashing campaign lead by certain Russian National-Bolshevik circles (Limonov, Dugin & Co.).

    3) The expression of a sincere bafflement, distress and frustration by honest and well-intentioned people to whom the current Russian stance really makes no sense at all.

The rest of this post will be entirely dedicated to try to explain the Russian stance to those in this third group (any dialog with the 2 first ones just makes no sense).

Trying to make sense of an apparently illogical policy
In my introduction above I stated that what is taking place is a war on Russia, not hot war (yet?) and not quite an old-style Cold War. In essence, what the AngloZionists are doing is pretty clear and a lot of Russian commentators have already reached that conclusion: the US are engaged into a war against Russia for which the US will fight to the last Ukrainian. Thus, for the Empire, "success" can never be defined as an outcome in the Ukraine because, as I said previously, this war is not about the Ukraine. For the Empire "success" is a specific outcome in Russia: regime change. Let's us look at how the Empire plans to achieve this result.

The original plan was simplistic in a typically US Neocon way: overthrow Yanukovich, get the Ukraine into the EU and NATO, politically move NATO to the Russian border and militarily move it into Crimea. That plan failed. Russia accepted Crimea and the Ukraine collapsed into a vicious civil war combined with a terminal economic crisis. Then the US Neocons fell-back to plan B.

Plan B was also simple: get Russia to intervene militarily in the Donbass and use that as a pretext for a full-scale Cold War v2 which would create 1950's style tensions between East and West, justify fear-induced policies in the West, and completely sever the growing economic ties between Russia and the EU. Except that plan also failed - Russia did not take the bait and instead of intervening directly in the Donbass, she began a massive covert operation to support the anti-Nazi forces in Novorussia. The Russian plan worked, and the Junta Repression Forces (JRF) were soundly defeated by the Novorussian Armed Forces (NAF) even though the latter was suffering a huge deficit in firepower, armor, specialists and men (gradually, Russian covert aid turned all these around).

At this point in time the AngloZionist plutocracy truly freaked out under the combined realization that their plan was falling apart and that there was nothing they could really do to rescue it (a military option was totally impossible as I explained it in the past). They did try economic sanctions, but that only helped Putin to engage in long overdue reforms. But the worst part of it all was that each time the West expected Putin to do something, he did the exact opposite:
    • Nobody expected that Putin would use military force in Crimea in a lightening-fast take-over operation which will go down in history as at least as amazing as Storm-333.
    • Everybody (including myself) expected Putin to send forces into Novorussia. He did not.
    • Nobody expected Russian counter-sanctions to hit the EU agricultural sector.
    • Everybody expected that Putin would retaliate after the latest round of sanctions. He did not.
There is a pattern here and it is one basic to all martial arts: first, never signal your intentions, second use feints and third, hit when and where your opponent doesn't expect it.

Conversely, there are two things which are deeply ingrained in the western political mindset which Putin never does: he never threatens and he never postures. For example, while the US is basically at war with Russia, Russia will gladly support a US resolution on ISIL if it is to Russia's advantage. And Russian diplomats will speak of "our American partners" or "our American friends" while, at the same time, doing more than the rest of the planet combined to bring down the AngloZionist Empire.

A quick look at Putin's record
As I have written in the past, unlike some other bloggers and commentators, I am neither a psychic not a prophet and I cannot tell you what Putin thinks or what he will do tomorrow. But what I can tell you is that which Putin has already done in the past: (in no particular order)
    • broken the back of the AngloZionist-backed oligarchy in Russia.
    • achieved a truly miraculous success in Chechnia (one which nobody, prophets included, had foreseen).
    • literally resurrected the Russian economy.
    • rebuilt the Russian military, security and intelligences forces.
    • severely disrupted the ability of foreign NGOs to subvert Russia.
    • done more for the de-dollarization of the planet than anybody before.
    • made Russia the clear leader of both BRICS and SCO.
    • openly challenged the informational monopoly of the western propaganda machine (with projects like RussiaToday).
    • stopped an imminent US/NATO strike on Syria by sending in a Russian Navy Expeditionary Force (which gave Syria a full radar coverage of the entire region).
    • made it possible for Assad to prevail in the Syrian civil war.
    • openly rejected the Western "universal civilizational model" and declared his support for another, a religion and tradition based one.
    • openly rejected a unipolar "New World Order" lead by the AngloZionists and declared his support for a multi-polar world order.
    • supported Assange (through RussiaToday) and protected Snowden
    • created and promoted a new alliance model between Christianity and Islam thus undermining the "clash of civilization" paradigm.
    • booted the AngloZionists out of key locations in the Caucasus (Chechnia, Ossetia).
    • booted the AngloZionists out of key locations in Central Asia (Manas base in Kyrgyzstan)
    • gave Russia the means to defend her interest in the Arctic region, including military means.
    • established a full-spectrum strategic alliance with China which is at the core of both SCO and BRICS.
    • is currently passing laws barring foreign interests from controlling the Russian media.
    • gave Iran the means to develop a much needed civilian nuclear program.
    • is working with China to create a financial system fully separated form the current AngloZionist controlled one (including trade in Rubles or Renminbi).
    • re-establised Russian political and economic support for Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Brazil, Nicaragua and Argentina.
    • very effectively deflated the pro-US color-coded revolution in Russia.
    • organized the "Voentorg" which armed the NAF.
    • gave refuge to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees.
    • sent in vitally needed humanitarian aid to Novorussia.
    • provided direct Russian fire support and possibly even air cover to NAF in key locations (the "southern cauldron" for example).
    • last but not least, he openly spoke of the need for Russia to "sovereignize" herself and to prevail over the pro-US 5th column.
and that list goes on and on. All I am trying to illustrate is that there is a very good reason for the AngloZionist's hatred for Putin: his long record of very effectively fighting them. So unless we assume that Putin had a sudden change of heart or that he simply ran out of energy or courage, I submit that the notion that he suddenly made a 180 makes no sense. His current policies, however, do make sense, as I will try to explain now.

If you are a "Putin betrayed Novorussia" person, please set that hypothesis aside for a moment, just for argument's sake and assume that Putin is both principled and logical. What could he be doing in the Ukraine? Can we make sense of what we observe?

    Imperatives Russia cannot ignore
First, I consider the following sequence indisputable:

First, Russia must prevail over the current AngloZionist war against her. What the Empire wants in Russia is regime change followed by complete absorption into the Western sphere of influence including a likely break-up of Russia. What is threatened is the very existence of the Russian civilization.

Second, Russia will never be safe with a neo-Nazi russophobic regime in power in Kiev. The Ukie nationalist freaks have proven that it is impossible to negotiate with them (they have broken literally every single agreement signed so far), their hatred for Russia is total (as shown with their constant references to the use of - hypothetical - nuclear weapons against Russia). Therefore,

Third, regime change in Kiev followed by a full de-Nazification is the only possible way for Russia to achieve her vital objectives.

Again, and at the risk of having my words twisted and misrepresented, I have to repeat here that Novorussia is not what is at stake here. It's not even the future of the Ukraine. What is at stake here is a planetary confrontation (this is the one thesis of Dugin which I fully agree with). The future of the planet depends on the capability of the BRICS/SCO countries to replace the AngloZionist Empire with a very different, multi-polar, international order. Russia is crucial and indispensable in this effort (any such effort without Russia is doomed to fail), and the future of Russia is now decided by what Russia will do in the Ukraine. As for the future of the Ukraine, it largely depends on what will happen to Novorussia, but not exclusively. In a paradoxical way, Novorussia is more important to Russia than to the Ukraine. Here is why:

For the rest of the Ukraine, Novorussia is lost. Forever. Not even a joint Putin-Obama effort could prevent that. In fact, the Ukies know that and this is why they make no effort to win the hearts and minds of the local population. If fact, I am convinced that the so-called "random" or "wanton" destruction of the Novorussian industrial, economic, scientific and cultural infrastructure has been intentional act of hateful vengeance similar to the way the AngloZionists always turn to killing civilians when they fail to overcome military forces (the examples of Yugoslavia and Lebanon come to mind). Of course, Moscow can probably force the local Novorussian political leaders to sign some kind of document accepting Kiev's sovereignty, but that will be a fiction, it is way too late for that. If not de jure, then de facto, Novorussia is never going to accept Kiev's rule again and everybody knows that, in Kiev, in Novorussia and in Russia.

What could a de facto but not de jure independence look like?

No Ukrainian military, national guard, oligarch battalion or SBU, full economic, cultural, religious, linguistic and educational independence, locally elected officials and local media, but all that with Ukie flags, no official independence status, no Novorussian Armed Forces (they will be called something like "regional security force" or even "police force") and no Novorussian currency (though the Ruble - along with the Dollar and Euro - will be used on a daily basis). The top officials will have to be officially approved by Kiev (which Kiev will, of course, lest its impotence becomes visible). This will be a temporary, transitional and unstable arrangement, but it will be good enough to provide a face-saving way out to Kiev.

This said, I would argue that both Kiev and Moscow have an interest in maintaining the fiction of a unitary Ukraine. For Kiev this is a way to not appear completely defeated by the accursed Moskals. But what about Russia?

What if you were in Putin's place?
Ask yourself the following question: if you were Putin and your goal was regime change in Kiev, would you prefer Novorussia to be part of the Ukraine or not? I would submit that having Novorussia inside is much better for the following reasons:
    1. it makes it part, even on a macro-level, of the Ukrainian processes, like national elections or national media.
    2. it begs the comparison with the conditions in the rest of the Ukraine.
    3. it makes it far easier to influence commerce, business, transportation, etc.
    4. it creates an alternative (Nazi-free) political center to Kiev.
    5. it makes it easier for Russian interests (of all kind) to penetrate into the Ukraine.
    6. it removes the possibility to put up a Cold War like "wall" or barrier on some geographical marker.
    7. it removes the accusation that Russian wants to partition the Ukraine.
In other words, to keep Novorussia de jure, nominally, part of the Ukraine is the best way to appear to be complying with AngloZionist demands while subverting the Nazi junta in power. In a recent article I outlined what Russia could do without incurring any major consequences:
    1. Politically oppose the regime everywhere: UN, media, public opinion, etc.
    2. Express political support for Novorussia and any Ukrainian oppositionContinue the informational war (Russian media does a great job)
    3. Prevent Novorussia from falling (covert military aid)
    4. Mercilessly keep up the economic pressure on the Ukraine
    5. Disrupt as much as possible the US-EU "axis of kindness"
    6. Help Crimea and Novorussia prosper economically and financially
In other words - give the appearance of staying out while very much staying in.

    What is the alternative anyway?
I already hear the chorus of indignant "hurray-patriots" (that is what these folks are called in Russia) accusing me of only seeing Novorussia as a tool for Russian political goals and of ignoring the death and suffering endured by the people of Novorussia. To this I will simply reply the following:

Does anybody seriously believe that an independent Novorussia can live in even minimal peace and security without a regime change in Kiev? If Russia cannot afford a Nazi junta in power in Kiev, can Novorussia?!

In general, the hurray-patriots are long on what should be done now and very short any kind of mid or long term vision. Just like those who believe that Syria can be saved by sending in the Russian Air Force, the hurray-patriots believe that the crisis in the Ukraine can be solved by sending in tanks. They are a perfect example of the mindset H. L. Mencken was referring to when he wrote "For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong".

The sad reality is that the mindset behind such "simple" solutions is always the same one: never negotiate, never compromise, never look long term but only to the immediate future and use force in all cases.

But the facts are here: the US/NATO block is powerful, militarily, economically and politically and it can hurt Russia, especially over time. Furthermore, while Russia can easily defeat the Ukrainian military, this hardly would be a very meaningful "victory". Externally it would trigger a massive deterioration of the international political climate, while internally the Russians would have to suppress the Ukrainian nationalists (not all of them Nazi) by force. Could Russia do that? Again, the answer is that yes - but at what cost?

I good friend of mine was a Colonel in the KGB Special Forces unit called "Kaskad" (which later was renamed "Vympel"). One day he told me how his father, himself a special operator for the GRU, fought against Ukrainian insurgents from the end of WWII in 1945 up to 1958: that is thirteen years! It took Stalin and Krushchev 13 years to finally crush the Ukrainian nationalist insurgents. Does anybody in his/her right mind sincerely believe that modern Russia should repeat that policies and spend years hunting down Ukrainian insurgents again?

By the way, if the Ukrainian nationalists could fight the Soviet rule under Stalin and Krushchev for a full 13 years after the end of the war - how is it that there is no visible anti-Nazi resistance in Zaporozhie, Dnepropetrivsk or Kharkov? Yes, Luganks and Donetsk did rise up and take arms, very successfully - but the rest of the Ukraine? If you were Putin, would you be confident that Russian forces liberating these cities would receive the same welcome that they did in Crimea?

And yet, the hurray-patriots keep pushing for more Russian intervention and further Novorussian military operations against Ukie forces. Is it not about time we begin asking who would benefit from such policies?

It has been an old trick of the US CIA to use the social media and the blogosphere to push for nationalist extremism in Russia. A well know and respected Russian patriot and journalist - Maksim Shevchenko - had a group of people organized to track down the IP numbers of some of the most influential radical nationalist organizations, website, blogs and individual posters on the Russian Internet. Turns out that most were based in the USA, Canada and Israel. Surprise, surprise. Or, maybe, no surprise at all?

For the AngloZionists, supporting extremists and rabid nationalists in Russia makes perfectly good sense. Either they get to influence the public opinion or they at the very least can be used to bash the regime in power. I personally see no difference between an Udaltsov or a Navalnii on one hand and a Limonov or a Dugin on the other. Their sole effect is to get people mad at the Kremlin. What the pretext for the anger is does not matter - for Navalnyi its "stolen elections" for Dugin it's "back-stabbed Novorussia". And it does not matter which of them are actually paid agents or just "useful idiots" - God be their judge - but what does matter is that the solutions they advocate are no solutions at all, just pious pretexts to bash the regime in power.

In the meantime, not only had Putin not sold-out, back-stabbed, traded away or otherwise abandoned Novorussia, it's Poroshenko who is barely holding on to power and Banderastan which is going down the tubes. There are also plenty of people who see through this doom and gloom nonsense, both in Russia (Yuri Baranchik) and abroad (M. K. Bhadrakumar).

    But what about the oligarchs?
I already addressed this issue in a recent post, but I think that it is important to return to this topic here and the first thing which is crucial to understand in the Russian or Ukrainian context is that oligarchs are a fact of life. This is not to say that their presence is a good thing, only that Putin and Poroshenko and, for that matter, anybody trying to get anything done over there needs to take them into account. The big difference is that while in Kiev a regime controlled by the oligarchs has been replaced by a regime of oligarchs, in Russia the oligarchy can only influence, but not control, the Kremlin. The examples, of Khodorkovsky or Evtushenkov show that the Kremlin still can, and does, smack down an oligarch when needed.

Still, it is one thing to pick on one or two oligarchs and quite another to remove them from the Ukrainian equation: the latter is just not going to happen. So for Putin any Ukrainian strategy has to take into account the presence and, frankly, power of the Ukrainian oligarchs and their Russian counterparts.

Putin knows that oligarchs have their true loyalty only to themselves and that their only "country" is wherever their assets happen to be. As a former KGB foreign intelligence officer for Putin this is an obvious plus, because that mindset potentially allows him to manipulate them. Any intelligence officer knows that people can be manipulated by a finite list of approaches: ideology, ego, resentment, sex, a skeleton in the closet and, of course, money. From Putin's point of view, Rinat Akhmetov, for example, is a guy who used to employ something like 200'000 people in the Donbass, who clearly can get things done, and whose official loyalty Kiev and the Ukraine is just a camouflage for his real loyalty: his money. Now, Putin does not have to like or respect Akhmetov, most intelligence officers will quietly despise that kind of person, but that also means that for Putin Akhmetov is an absolutely crucial person to talk to, explore options with and, possibly, use to achieve a Russian national strategic objective in the Donbass.

I have already written this many times here: Russians do talk to their enemies. With a friendly smile. This is even more true for a former intelligence officer who is trained to always communicate, smile, appear to be engaging and understanding. For Putin Akhmetov is not a friend or an ally, but he is a powerful figure which can be manipulated in Russia's advantage. What I am trying to explain here is the following:

There are numerous rumors of secret negotiations between Rinat Akhmetov and various Russian officials. Some say that Khodakovski is involved. Others mention Surkov. There is no doubt in my mind that such secret negotiations are taking place. In fact, I am sure that all the parties involved talk to all other other parties involved. Even with a disgusting, evil and vile creature like Kolomoiski. In fact, the sure signal that somebody has finally decided to take him out would be that nobody would be speaking with him any more. That will probably happen, with time, but most definitely not until his power base is sufficiently eroded.

One Russian blogger believes that Akhmetov has already been "persuaded" (read: bought off) by Putin and that he is willing to play by the new rules which now say "Putin is boss". Maybe. Maybe not yet, but soon. Maybe never. All I am suggesting is that negotiations between the Kremlin and local Ukie oligarchs are as logical and inevitable as the US contacts with the Italian Mafia before the US armed forces entered Italy.

But is there a 5th column in Russia?
Yes, absolutely. First and foremost, it is found inside the Medvedev government itself and even inside the Presidential administration. Always remember that Putin was put into power by two competing forces: the secret services and big money. And yes, while it is true that Putin has tremendously weakened the "big money" component (what I call the "Atlantic Integrationists") they are still very much there, though they are more subdued, more careful and less arrogant than during the time when Medvedev was formally in charge. The big change in the recent years is that the struggle between patriots (the "Eurasian Sovereignists") and the 5th column now is in the open, but it if far from over. And we should never underestimate these people: they have a lot of power, a lot of money and a fantastic capability to corrupt, threaten, discredit, sabotage, cover-up, smear, etc. They are also very smart, they can hire the best professionals in the field, and they are very, very good at ugly political campaigns. For example, the 5th columnists try hard to give a voice to the National-Bolshevik opposition (both Limonov and Dugin regularly get airtime on Russian TV) and rumor has it that they finance a lot of the National-Bolshevik media (just like the Koch brothers paid for the Tea Party in the USA).

Another problem is that while these guys are objectively doing the US CIA's bidding, there is no proof of it. As I was told many times by a wise friend: most conspiracies are really collusions and the latter are very hard to prove. But the community of interests between the US CIA and the Russian and Ukrainian oligarchy is so obvious as to be undeniable.

    The real danger for Russia
So now we have the full picture. Again, Putin has to simultaneously contend with

    1) a strategic psyop campaign run by the US/UK & Co. which combines the corporate media's demonization of Putin and a campaign in the social media to discredit him for his passivity and lack of appropriate response to the West.
    2) a small but very vociferous group of (mostly) National-Bolsheviks (Limonov, Dugin & Co.) who have found in the Novorussian cause a perfect opportunity to bash Putin for not sharing their ideology and their "clear, simple, and wrong" "solutions".
    3) a network of powerful oligarchs who want to use the opportunity presented by the actions of first two groups to promote their own interests.
    4) a 5th column for whom all of the above is a fantastic opportunity to weaken the Eurasian Sovereignists
    5) a sense of disappointment by many sincere people who feel that Russia is acting like a passive punching-ball.
    6) an overwhelming majority of people in Novorussia who want complete (de facto and de jure) independence from Kiev and who are sincerely convinced that any negotiations with Kiev are a prelude to a betrayal by Russia of Novorussian interest.
    7) the objective reality that Russian and Novorussian interests are not the same.
    8) the objective reality that the AngloZionist Empire is still very powerful and even potentially dangerous.

It is very, very, hard for Putin to try to balance these forces in such a way that the resulting vector is one which is in the strategic interest of Russia. I would argue that there is simply no other solution to this conundrum other than to completely separate Russia's official (declaratory) police and Russia's real actions. The covert help to Novorussia - the Voentorg - is an example of that, but only a limited one because what Russia must do now goes beyond covert actions: Russia must appear to be doing one thing while doing exactly the opposite. It is in Russia's strategic interest at this point in time to appear to:

    1) Support a negotiated solution along the lines of: a unitary non-aligned Ukraine, with large regional right for all regions while, at the same time, politically opposing the regime everywhere: UN, media, public opinion, etc. and supporting both Novorussia and any Ukrainian opposition.
    2) Give Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs a reason to if not support, then at least not oppose such a solution (for ex: by not nationalizing Akhmetov's assets in the Donbass), while at the same time making sure that there is literally enough "firepower" to keep the oligarch under control.
    3) Negotiate with the EU on the actual implementation of Ukraine's Agreement with the EU while at the same time helping the Ukraine commit economic suicide by making sure that there is just the right amount of economic strangulation applied to prevent the regime from bouncing back.
    4) Negotiate with the EU and the Junta in Kiev over the delivery of gas while at the same time making sure that the regime pays enough for it to be broke.
    5) Appear generally non-confrontational towards the USA while at the same time trying as hard as possible to create tensions between the US and the EU.
    6) Appear to be generally available and willing to do business with the AngoZionist Empire while at the same time building an alternative international systems not centered on the USA or the Dollar.

As you see, this goes far beyond a regular covert action program. What we are dealing with is a very complex, multi-layered, program to achieve the Russian most important goal in the Ukraine (regime change and de-Nazification) while inhibiting as much as possible the AngloZionists attempts to re-created a severe and long lasting East-West crisis in which the EU would basically fuse with the USA.

Conclusion: a key to Russian policies?
Most of us are used to think in terms of super-power categories. After all, US President from Reagan on to Obama have all served us a diet of grand statements, almost constant military operations followed by Pentagon briefings, threats, sanctions, boycotts, etc. I would argue that this has always been the hallmark of western "diplomacy" from the Crusades to the latest bombing campaign against ISIL. Russia and China have a diametrically opposed tradition. For example, in terms of methodology Lavrov always repeats the same principle: "we want to turn our enemies into neutrals, we want to turn neutrals into partner and we want to turn partners into friends". The role of Russian diplomats is not to prepare for war, but to avoid it. Yes, Russia will fight, but only when diplomacy has failed. If for the US diplomacy is solely a means to deliver threats, for Russia it is a the primary tool to defuse them. It is therefore no wonder at all the the US diplomacy is primitive to the point of bordering on the comical. After all, how much sophistication is needed to say "comply or else". Any petty street thug know how to do that. Russian diplomats are much more akin to explosives disposal specialist or a mine clearance officer: they have to be extremely patient, very careful and fully focused. But most importantly, they cannot allow anybody to rush them lest the entire thing blows up.

    art: Josetxo Ezcurra -

Russia is fully aware that the AngloZionist Empire is at war with her and that surrender is simply not an option any more (assuming it ever was). Russia also understands that she is not a real super-power or, even less so, an empire. Russia is only a very powerful country which is trying to de-fang the Empire without triggering a frontal confrontation with it. In the Ukraine, Russia sees no other solution than regime change in Kiev. To achieve this goal Russia will always prefer a negotiated solution to one obtained by force, even though if not other choice is left to her, she will use force.

    In other words:

Russia's long term end goal is to bring down the AngloZionis Empire. Russia's mid term goal is to create the conditions for regime change in Kiev. Russia's short term goal is to prevent the junta from over-running Novorussia. Russia's preferred method to achieve these goals is negotiation with all parties involved. A prerequisite to achieve these goals by negotiations is to prevent the Empire from succeeding in creating an acute continental crisis (conversely, the imperial "deep state" fully understands all this, hence the double declaration of war by Obama and Poroshenko.)

As long as you keep these basic principles in mind, the apparent zig-zags, contradictions and passivity of Russian policies will begin to make sense.

It is an open question whether Russia will succeed in her goals. In theory, a successful Junta attack on Novorussia could force Russia to intervene. Likewise, there is always the possibility of yet another "false flag", possibly a nuclear one. I think that the Russian policy is sound and the best realistically achievable under the current set of circumstances, but only time will tell.

I am sorry that it took me over 6400 words to explain all that, but in a society were most "thoughts" are expressed as "tweets" and analyses as Facebook posts, it was a daunting task to try to shed some light to what is turning to be a deluge of misunderstandings and misconceptions, all made worse by the manipulation of the social media. I feel that 60'000 words would be more adequate to this task as it is far easier to just throw out a short and simple slogan than to refute its assumptions and implications.

My hope that at least those of you who sincerely were confused by Russia's apparently illogical stance can now connect the dots and make better sense of it all.

    Kind regards to all,

    The Saker

Russia Discovers Massive Arctic Oil Field Which May Be Larger Than Gulf Of Mexico

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/27/2014 22:30 -0400

In a dramatic stroke of luck for the Kremlin, this morning there is hardly a person in the world who is happier than Russian president Vladimir Putin because overnight state-run run OAO Rosneft announced it has discovered what may be a treasure trove of black oil, one which could boost Russia's coffers by hundreds of billions if not more, when a vast pool of crude was discovered in the Kara Sea region of the Arctic Ocean, showing the region has the potential to become one of the world’s most important crude-producing areas, arguably bigger than the Gulf Of Mexico. The announcement was made by Igor Sechin, Rosneft’s chief executive officer, who spent two days sailing on a Russian research ship to the drilling rig where the find was unveiled today.

The oil production platform at the Sakhalin-I field in Russia, partly owned by ONGC Videsh Ltd., Rosneft Oil Co., Exxon Mobil Corp. and Japan's Sakhalin Oil and Gas Development Co. on June 9, 2009.

Well, one person who may have been as happy as Putin is the CEO of Exxon Mobil, since the well was discovered with the help of America's biggest energy company (and second largest by market cap after AAPL). Then again, maybe not: as Bloomberg explains "the well was drilled before the Oct. 10 deadline Exxon was granted by the U.S. government under sanctions barring American companies from working in Russia’s Arctic offshore. Rosneft and Exxon won’t be able to do more drilling, putting the exploration and development of the area on hold despite the find announced today."

Which means instead of generating billions in E&P revenue, XOM could end up with, well, nothing. And that would be quite a shock to the US company because the unveiled Arctic field may hold about 1 billion barrels of oil and similar geology nearby means the surrounding area may hold more than the U.S. part of the Gulf or Mexico, he said.

For a sense of how big the spoils are we go to another piece by Bloomberg, which tells us that "Universitetskaya, the geological structure being drilled, is the size of the city of Moscow and large enough to contain more than 9 billion barrels, a trove worth more than $900 billion at today’s prices."

The only way to reach the prospect is a four-day voyage from Murmansk, the largest city north of the Arctic circle. Everything will have to shipped in — workers, supplies, equipment — for a few months of drilling, then evacuated before winter renders the sea icebound. Even in the short Arctic summer, a flotilla is needed to keep drifting ice from the rig.

Sadly, said bonanza may be non-recourse to Exxon after Obama made it quite clear that all western companies will have to wind down operations in Russia or else feel the wrath of the DOJ against sanctions breakers. Which leaves XOM two options: ignore Obama's orders (something which many have been doing of late), or throw in the towel on what may be the largest oil discovery in years.

And while the Exxon C-suite contemplates its choices, here is some more on today's finding from Bloomberg:
“It exceeded our expectations,” Sechin said in an interview. This discovery is of “exceptional significance in showing the presence of hydrocarbons in the Arctic.”

The development of Arctic oil reserves, an undertaking that will cost hundreds of billions of dollars and take decades, is one of Putin’s grandest ambitions. As Russia’s existing fields in Siberia run dry, the country needs to develop new reserves as it vies with the U.S. to be the world’s largest oil and gas producer.

Output from the Kara Sea field could begin within five to seven years, Sechin said, adding the field discovered today would be named “Victory.”
    Duh.
The Kara Sea well -- the most expensive in Russian history -- targeted a subsea structure named Universitetskaya and its success has been seen as pivotal to that strategy. The start of drilling, which reached a depth of more than 2,000 meters (6,500 feet), was marked with a ceremony involving Putin and Sechin.

The importance of Arctic drilling was one reason that offshore oil exploration was included in the most recent round of U.S. sanctions. Exxon and Rosneft have a venture to explore millions of acres of the Arctic Ocean.
But what's worse for Exxon is that now that the hard work is done, Rosneft may not need its Western partner much longer:
“Once the well is plugged, there will be a lot of work to do in interpreting the results and this is probably something that Rosneft can do,” Julian Lee, an oil strategist at Bloomberg First Word in London, said before today’s announcement. “Both parties are probably hoping that by the time they are ready to start the next well the sanctions will have been lifted.”
And here is why there is nothing Exxon would like more than to put all the western sanctions against Moscow in the rearview mirror: "The stakes are high for Exxon, whose $408 billion market valuation makes it the world’s largest energy producer. Russia represents the second-biggest exploration prospect worldwide. The Irving, Texas-based company holds drilling rights across 11.4 million acres in Russia, only eclipsed by its 15.1 million U.S. acres."

Proving just how major this finding is, and how it may have tipped the balance of power that much more in Russia's favor is the emergence of paid experts, desperate to talk down the relevance of the Russian discovery:
More drilling and geological analysis will be needed before a reliable estimate can be tallied for the size of the oil resources in the Universitetskaya area and the Russian Arctic as a whole, said Frances Hudson, a global thematic strategist who helps manage $305 billion at Standard Life Investments Ltd. in Edinburgh. Sanctions forbidding U.S. and European cooperation with Russian entities mean that country’s nascent Arctic exploration will be stillborn because Rosneft and its state-controlled sister companies don’t know how to drill in cold offshore conditions alone, she said.

“Extrapolating from a small data sample is perhaps not going to give you the best information,” Hudson said in a telephone interview. “And because of sanctions, it looks like there’s going to be less exploration rather than more.” In addition, the expense and difficulty of operating in such a remote part of the world, where hazards include icebergs and sub-zero temperatures, mean that the developing discoveries may not be economic at today’s oil prices.
Maybe. Then again perhaps the experts' time is better suited to estimating just how much longer the US shale miracle has left before the US is once again at the mercy of offshore sellers of crude.

In any event one country is sure to have a big smile on its face: China, since today's finding simply means that as Russia has to ultimately sell the final product to someone, that someone will almost certainly be the Middle Kingdom, which if the "Holy Gas Grail" deal is any indication, will be done at whatever terms Beijing chooses.

Me think, you, dear reader, should know:

From Sue Arrigo's Case 28 DCI Robert Gates, Torture, and Ashes of Children

The GAO Has the Evidence on Who Ordered the Burning Alive of the Children
When I gave a talk at the CIA in 2004, I showed 7 documents to prove each point I made and the whole talk lasted a grueling 5 hours. More people kept showing up until it was standing room only; though perhaps some came just to see how long it would be before I was pulled off the stage into a basement torture chamber again.

For each slide I speak about, the document, photo, or evidence is sitting in the Government Accounting Office (GAO's) files since the Dept of Justice was corrupted beyond use. Since I was tortured and stripped of all of my possessions when I was outed from the CIA by Cheney in 2004, clearly I do not have any of these documents in my personal possession. But I still remember the talks I gave at the CIA and the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) in 2004, recalling parts of them here to tell you what evidence the GAO has in its possession, if Congress will but request it from them.

In the rest of this article I am going to address the question of who was responsible for MKULTRA and its related CIA programs. Who turned the children into ashes and what did they do with them? Remember that this reminiscence by recounting a slideshow details the evidence sitting at the GAO.

The Coverup of the Rockefeller Satanic Rituals
There has been a conspiracy to keep the public, and even intelligence people in the dark. On this slide you see a letter from Nelson Rockefeller thanking the owner of the New York Times for his discretion in not covering a lurid crime. Note the date which is two weeks after this Upstate New York police report was made. The victim was a young boy who was sodomized and then killed.

Here is the last notes in the police report made by the detective. He says he is making progress in the case and the evidence is strong and growing. Then the next day he writes suddenly that the case is “unfounded” and is being closed.

Here is the KGB’s report on that murder. Note that it lists the people that the Rockefeller thank you letter goes to--about 20 media owners. It also shows the earlier letter Nelson Rockefeller wrote them asking them to kill this story. All except one of them did. Here is the letter from a KBG officer to Nelson Rockefeller asking for hush money in exchange for the evidence in the KGB’s files.

Here is a copy of the financial transaction from Rockefeller’s hush money account to the KGB officer for about $86,000 in 1970’s money. What exactly was Rockefeller worried about that he paid out the money? Here is the flak-assessment of likely blowback by the CIA if the money was not paid. Note that this flak report was sent to Nelson at his Upstate New York Estate, where it was found in the Rockefeller Archives with this envelop attached to it. The date it was received is one day before the money was ordered transferred. Here is the journal entry of Nelson on that day saying, “Our side business has caused me $86,000 in extra expenses today. I have asked the DCI to tighten up our security procedures so that there is less risk of exposure. The last thing we want is the headlines “Boy’s rape and murder linked to the Rockefeller’s Estate”. Fortunately, the body was off my property by the time the car was stopped. Had I not gotten the warning of the raid on the ritual from my men inside Police enforcement, this could have been quite serious... Billions of dollars hang in the balance. I have scheduled a Policemen’s Ball here next month so as to ensure cooperation...New hidden cameras will be installed.”

Here is the KGB’s list of who was invited to the “Policeman’s Ball”. It looks like a “Who’s who” of Police, FBI and media VIPs. Here are some of the photos from that event from the Rockefeller Archive’s blackmail files on the left side of the following slides with the KGB’s photos of the same event. That gives you an idea of the accuracy of the KGB files; the KGB actually was better at taking blackmail photos. Here is the letter from that same KBG officer laying out the evidence he has. He claims that he has the evidence on all of the Rockefeller’s global sex slave trafficking. That is a little hard to believe, but he sent with the letter an organizational chart listing the addresses of the branch offices of Rockefeller’s sex slave trade by country. Here is the CIA’s own organizational chart of the sex slave trade that they are engaged in with the profits going to the Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, and Skull and Bones members.

If you read my Case 22C Hot Sodas Courtesy of those who Brought You Auschwitz? you will see that the Rockefellers and Bonesman Prescott Bush were major players funding Hitler, building Auschwitz, using the slave labor, and paying the SS guards.

Those families have been major players in the New World Orders plans to enslave the world using torture, mind control, and rape as their modus operandi for over a century. There were some minor discrepancies between the KGB and CIA charts on Rockefeller’s sex slave trade, but overall the charts agree. Here is the transaction from the Rockefeller’s hush money account which paid the Russian to destroy the KGB’s files. Note the sum of about $150,000.

Next is a handwritten note of the DDO shortly thereafter in which he is preparing to advise the DCI on how that particular Russian KGB officer can be assassinated. Due to a delay in the Russian banks clearing the transaction and delivering the money to the Russian in cash, the CIA accidentally killed him before he destroyed the KGB’s files on Rockefeller’s sex slave trade which are quite extensive.

The CIA’s and KGB’s Sex Slave Trade Make Profits for the Same NWO Bosses
Here is a breakdown of the recipients of the profits on the sex slave trade run by the CIA and that run by the KGB. Note that due to the Rothschilds and Rockefellers funding of the Bolshevik Revolution, that they are the major recipients of the KGB’s sex slave running operations. In fact, the Rothschilds and Rockefellers were major forces behind the scenes setting up both the KGB and OSS/CIA intelligence agencies to run their illegal drug, trafficking in humans, weapons, and war-profiteering businesses. Throughout the Cold War and before, they were giving orders to the OSS/CIA and the KBG and getting those orders followed with a high degree of reliability. Here is a late 1930’s letter from a Rockefeller to Stalin ordering him to purge KGB people and depts. which have displeased Rothschild. Here is the letter back from Stalin saying that he has done as requested. In fact, the KGB followed the Rothschild and Rockefeller orders better than US intelligence which was less efficient.

The Rothschilds and Rockefellers used MI6 and the CIA to check up on whether the KGB was doing what they wanted and vice versa. Here is a 1990’s CIA report on the KGB sex slave trade which was found in the Rockefeller Archives. Note the handwritten note in David Rockefeller’s handwriting which says that some of the profits are being diverted to people which are not part of his operations and that this problem must be eliminated.

Here is a CIA report from 2 months later in that same Rockefeller file, detailing what steps have been taken to “stem the losses”. One of the recommendations is to start a war in Chechnya to cover up the deaths in eliminating the competition to the Rockefeller and Rothschild sex slave trade. The next month the Russians launched a seminal invasion of Chechnya.

Here, also from the same Rockefeller file is a private think tank report on the effect of the Russian invasion into Chechnya in terms of whether it has succeeded in covering up the early Chechen deaths as related to “the global” sex slave trade. It concludes that it was a successful cover-up. Note at the bottom of the report David Rockefeller has written “All copies of this report are to be destroyed.” However, in Rockefeller Archive jargon that means all copies outside of the Rockefeller and Rothschild Archives.

Here is a letter from David Rockefeller to the Rothschilds saying in abbreviated form what steps he has taken to secure that the Chechens do not interfere with their profits anymore. Inserted in the letter was an accounting sheet giving the profits from the sex slaves made “from the Russians quelling the Chechen uprising”.

An ordinary person following the news has no way to know the real causes of the events they are told about. They swallow the official propaganda lies of which every side they are sitting on. That means that the war-profiteers can endlessly threaten them with external enemies and force them into wars. In those wars, the costs are borne by the taxpayers and the profits all go into the same private hands.

Here is how the profits flowed in the 1980’s Russian war in Afghanistan. Note that we are looking at the global profits from that war. Both the Russian and the US govt. forced their taxpayers to buy billions of dollars worth of armaments to use in Afghanistan without ever asking them if that was how they wanted their money spent.

Here is how the profits are flowing in the 2000’s US war in Afghanistan. There is very little difference, most of the profits are going into the pockets of the Rothschilds and their downline, like the Rockefellers, and Skull and Bones members.

Both wars started when the Afghanis attempted to shut down the Rockefellers and Rothschilds using their country to grow opium for their illegal drug trade. In May 2000, the Taliban outlawed the growing of opium poppies. The CIA verified that 95% of the poppy fields were gone, see The Politics of Heroin: CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade by Alfred McCoy.

The Taliban went from being supported by the US to being public enemy number 1 over that issue. One of the first things the US did when it invaded Afghanistan was to let the drug war lords out of the Taliban’s prisons and put them back in business as their downline.

    Nelson Rockefeller Ordered JFK Assassinated
In this first slide in this next section, you see the first premise that we are going to prove through examining these documents---'All those not making decisions at the level of David Rockefeller, or above, in the New World Order are expendable slaves from the point of view of the elite in it.'

Here in the second slide you see a planning document in the John F. Kennedy Assassination. Note that it is a CIA document discussing how to manage the cover-up of the assassination and is dated about 5 weeks before the assassination. The signature at the bottom is John McCone's, the director of CIA that JFK appointed under pressure from Nelson Rockefeller, after firing DCI Allen Dulles for the Bay of Pigs fiasco.

This document comes from the blackmail files of the Rockefeller Achives. Nelson Rockefeller requested the cover-up White Paper from McCone and had the power to compel McCone to sign it. Clearly, it was against McCone's interests to prove he was part of the conspiracy to kill JFK.

So... Putin... ex KGB... means that, to the Rothschilds and Rockefellers, he might KNOW a bit too much...
