I feel the need to explain something here and now. And I know I really do not have to, but, You are My Loving Family here on the internet and this part is important to me to share with You.
My Brothers and Sisters are extremely strong spirited and strong willed people. Being an 8 child family with a blind/alcoholic Father and a Mother that was so loving and sacrificing and was the ultimate of a rock hard determined Woman that She basically raised us alone. Her values were penetrating and old school.
I primarily put that stuff out there on facebook because they(sisters/brothers/kids) are all there sharing every day and read all of my posts(most of them without a thanks there,of course)...we have a strong and powerful loving bond because of Mom. They are also keeping a close watch because of my seizures, 3 of my sisters being retired nurses...they are keeping tabs on me to be sure I am ok. They read them anyway...but look in more because of what had happened.
My Father(lost his eyesight at 36) eventually quit drinking around 50 years of age.The damage he had done in our family was monumental, especially to my older Brothers and Sisters...me and my Sister that were the youngest two were spared much of that. That damaging chain was broken...they all got together after something happened with and to a friend of my daughters while they were 6 and visiting my father...they both lived right down the road. My Daughter's Friend was on my dad's lap and he touched her...she told her father and mother right away, her father was a state policeman. So all hell broke loose. I was in South Carolina building when they finally got together in a round table and barraged him. THAT mild sexual abuse(not at all mild to the abusee) chain was broken. There's more to that but that is that.
When someone has an addiction(sexual abuse, alcohol, drugs, etc.) that same kind of round table barrage is done with and to and for people that are about to go off the deep and family and close friends have simply had enough.and must do what they have to do. It works most of the time and gets these people to get help because they basically do not have any alternative but to live on the street, confined to an institution(and,or,and)..
My Family is somewhat aware of what I am doing...and it just may do nothing, but I do not think or feel so.. A key matter in this is my older Brother that was lifetime Green Beret and now a close to retirement school psychologist is looking into the things I have posted about rather deeply for a year on his own now.
Maybe I am looking at it from the wrong angle...but I have personally experienced these 'barrages' working and consider life in 3d an addiction in many ways...forced upon us.
I had been getting such strong surges of higher urges to put it out there, so there it is. Many People have strongly suggested I write a book and that People needed to hear my story, well, the synopsis is there with some repetitive quirks. Barrages are full of them and many times penetrate the person(s) suffering from and causing suffering(with no knowledge of it many times ) from a strong addiction and get help and change it all!

I Love You All Here and Now!

Betty, the wife of President Gerald Ford, was an alcoholic. The family organized a meeting and they barraged her.
I read this in some magazine years ago, when I was still going to hairdressers.
Apparently it worked really well and it led to her opening the Betty Ford Clinic
which became a famous rehab for celebrities.

They could be Braxton Hicks, true. The doctor was concerned that an untreated uti could cause early labor. And that her contractions are far too regular and have not stopped. They tend to tire the body. I'm not feeling worried, which is a good thing. I really did/do need some alone time and hated to cancel that. I will have to recharge some other way. And pretty soon.

Edit: Seriously, how could I be too worried, when she has talked her sister into driving two hours to pick her up and take her to get fried pickles? Hahaha

I was going to mention Braxton -Hicks, thanks, ulli. <3

I could live without cabbage, but not without hot chilis.

Martyrdom is not intended, but tends to be a result from not checking that whole nurturing thing. I have Cancer rising, so I can see it in a couple of Cancers I know, but I haven't seen the martyr erupt in all of them.

My mom is blind while it was my dad who was the alcoholic/addict.

I started kimchi at 9ish, it is now 1ish and I only have a little ginger left to mince. I have chopped nonstop for three hours, ok not nonstop, I did take a few five minute breaks. Don't tip your hat to me, tip it to your mom, geez. This will make enough to last for months and months. I effin love kimchi since I discovered it here in the deep and backward south, so a few hours work for a seasons worth of food is, well, worth it. Oh, and it is as healthy as you can get (another high five to Pauler) so incredibly worthwhile. But, I can say with absolute certainty, I have never chopped so much in my entire life. Likely, I have never chopped so much in all my life leading up to kimchi.

Hi purplelama, thanks for the laugh.
It just hit me that I have been taking for granted the abundance of kimchi I have sans all the chopping.

Unless you have a spare fridge, I recommend placing extra baking soda in your fridge.

I too gave up on hairdressers years ago, Ulli. They never got the dye right and then they come with excuses like: the lighting's just not right (wait until you get home), there's too much this-or-that pigment in your natural hair and it interferes with the dye, it really looks wonderful on you (no matter how it really appeared to me from the mirror) and you know next time we'll even work on a pony to accentuate yadda yadda... What next time?

The last salon I visited was also the most expensive one. It looked like an haut couture salon (not sure if it really was) and she spent a full 3 hours on my hair, totally relaxed, while we were drinking exquisite coffee with exquisite cookies, even though also not getting the colour quite right, but by far doing the best job I had had by then. Her name is Anna Jones. I hope she's happy and she knows why.

After that I got the tools at home and I got the colour right pretty soon. And by the speed with which I got the hairdressing results that so many hairdressers over such a long time span just couldn't get right - and I'm not a hairdresser - I can't but be suspicious of fraudulent practices so as to keep desperate customers returning until maybe one good day the hairdresser is merciful enough to let down that desired result...

Another reason (for not going) surfaced somewhat later and has to do with the nature of the products used and the difficulty of finding a(n) affordable salon that uses all natural. There are Aveda salons in the country. I've never tried them. I used to buy their shampoos but wasn't entirely happy with the results.

It is funny that I have no idea who I am, yet K and Mike are full of judgment of who I am. This process has cost me a great deal, and continues to do so.

    Greeted my day with sun....

I was called a Goddess worshiping Pagan idolatress (LOL) today by a Christian friend of mine. All I could think of to say was, I can tell we're not going to have any deep philosophical conversations about the Universe any time soon.

    Happy Saturday.

Good prayers to you 1inMany, your daughter & baby and family.

Kimchi PL? Tried it once....in the garment district in LA....eeweeee. nothing bitter, pungent or sour for me...get a headache and stomachache thinking about it. Grew up in the American SouthWest, I love green chilli and I hear cheese enchiladas with beans and rice calling. Fish tacos. Not too spicy -mild.

Watching the thunder clouds rolling and listening to them rumbling by, feel the temperature and pressure rising and folding laundry with my youngest niece. Taking a break now.

Have had a couple of little synchronicities occur recently.

I keep seeing 11:11, 12:12 and so forth a lot for the past few weeks. Not something I'm focused on or am really thinking about. Mostly just happens. Paying attention.

Turning point just seems to be a constant theme lately.... paying attention.... my own little microcosm & macrocosm in relation to The Microcosm Macrocosm.
Thinking a lot about that I am at a turning point in my life.....here & now.... Life was going in a certain direction and I was in one dimension and the next day awoke into an entirely different dimension.

Will take some time to really move forward after my husbands death, but little by little. I miss him, but he's not suffering anymore. RIP. He had gotten seriously ill in September of last year and we both were having serious issues with spirits... two months into it I thought what in the heck is going on here.? I looked at his chart....
(Pluto and a lot of it) Ulli.

    at the book store
A few days ago I took Bubba to his weekly vet visit for his paw. I dropped him off and thought I would find a place to hide and have something cool to drink while I'm in the city. I went to the local coffee bistro/book store. After ordering I perused through the literature, Sci-Fi and metaphysical sections randomly looking with nothing set in mind. Then a thought came to me about a novel and the author I had read a few years back. I was staying in the hospital with an ill family member and had picked up the book to read while they were sleeping. It wasn't something I would normally read, mystery theme to it. But I was at the store picking up a few items in the pharmacy for my relative and in a hurry; practically grabbed it off of the shelf.

I really didn't like the story.... but it was well written and to my surprise I found the author to have a deepness and sensitivity to him. Hmm. Wondered if he had written anything else and then promptly forgot about it until standing in the bistro books -all of these year later? Asked the clerk if they had anything by the author and she said no and he only wrote two books. Really. Why? I thought. Typed the author's name in the search engine on my phone and found out he had passed four years to the day... I ordered his only other book.

Got my drink and headed back towards the books. Hearing the words turning point spoken out loud I almost stopped and turned around to see if someone was behind me. I kept walking and headed for the metaphysical section.... I didn't really see anything that sparked my attention and started to turn away and then I saw the words turning point. I picked up the book it was by Gregg Braden, his newest one called, The Turning Point: Creating Resilience in a Time of Extremes. A little astonished opening the book read:

"...I see a world where we've raised the standard of living for everyone, rather than lowering it for many in order to support only a few. I see a world where war is obsolete and using the threat of war to solve our problems no longer makes any sense. I see a world where our love of cooperation is greater than the fear that drives violent competition. And I see the shift in thinking that makes each of these things possible. To get to that shift, however, we must begin by recognizing the realities we face and the promise that they hold. A good place to begin is by acknowledging the fact that we're living in a time of extremes..."

"...and just to be clear, the extremes I'm talking about don't necessarily have to be considered bad things..."

"...the key here is that we're living a rare era of transition." (2014, x-xi)

Sorry for the length of my post. Rambling meanderings.....

Have a beautiful rest of your day.

    Love

    Nora

    Loved your long post, Nora.

My father passed away 34 years ago today.
A Pluto event in my life, as Pluto was exactly square my sun then.
That whole period was life and death for me, as my son was born and also I learnt how to set up astrology charts then,
and gave up life in the big city (London) and moved to Barbados.
Pluto square sun means total loss of power in the face of destiny,
while Pluto trine sun brings added power.

By the way, are you aware that there is a hurricane off the Baja Peninsula and is heading for San Diego?
Would you like us to tone it down a bit?

    Much Love,

It is my guess that Mike and K are projecting their own unresolved stuff at you,
and instead of taking ownership of it find it more convenient to put all blame on you.

If they were in touch with their real inner core they would then see only goodness in you,
    and drop all those judgements.

Lets hope for something that will help them wake up.
Stand back, 1inMany, while this event approaches.

Hi Nora, I had a lot of little synchronicities in your post. For the first time in a long while I had a coworker ask me what me what church I went to, and not do you go to a church. I said oh no, I don't attend any church but the one I wake up to every morning. She gave a flabbergasted look, like she was beholding a heathen. I wasn't offended, being a card carrying heathen. Ha!

And PL, speaking of chopping, I have had a Bob Dylan song, "Isis, in my head all day, and the lyric that I have been singing over and over is "I chopped through the night and I chopped through the dawn..."

It has been raining most of the day, little baby frogs and lizards bounding everywhere. The excrescence of hanging moss and different air plants turning bright green with the moisture. The Resurrection ferns scorched seemingly dead and brown from the sun turned bright green within an hour. Here and now the clouds have moved off leaving a brilliant night sky with drops of water dripping from the oaks and eaves of the house. It's really pretty. I have you and yours in my thoughts 1InMany. Cheers All!

When a person is very deep into their addiction and doing tremendous harm to themselves and others, directly and indirectly, close family and friends come together in sort of a roundtable thing and the addict they love is at the center. They have simply had enough and really have no other alternative. The addict(he or she) is "barraged" by all of the extremely bad things being done to themselves and the people that love them.. The addict is given NO way out anymore...either get help or go live in the street or be confined to an institution or, or...there will be absolutely no more help from family/friends if they do not get help, now.
For those of You that like Your day to day doings and do not think we can do anything about the big ugly things going on around this world together, one by one, I am not talking to you anymore.
I am only talking to those that feel we can do something right now because there is no other time. We are living in an oh so cleverly designed fraud that has forced addictions upon us for a very long time.. We have become placid addicts, plain and simple, all of the system is designed that way and we are better than all of it.
We are right in the middle of a major correction...the wars will stop, period...but you have to get in this thing and see these ugly things stopped,.by us...for we allowed the creation of them knowingly and unknowingly.
You have to do your best to unwrap yourself from this system any way you can. Get with people that are already doing this...you will find them if you look Stop giving it your time and energy any way you can. Sell the damn house if you really do not need it and get together with some people that have already unplugged partly from the bank and commerce world. Shut the tv off...shut it off...sell it. Get out in nature every single day for at least an hour. Look into the Indigenous People world around you more...connect with them.
Just please do it...You all already know what to do already, it IS in Your Hearts, it is time already, like now!

    I Love You!

There was a walking stick on my window screen. I lightly tapped him off because there’s a spider guy that takes up a good bit of screen real estate. Walking stick flew away. I didn’t realize their versatility. One site posted they are cousins to the praying mantis and grasshopper.

“Stick insects may also wear bright colors on their wings, but keep these flamboyant features tucked away. When a bird or other predator approaches, the stick insect will flash the vibrant wings, then hide them again, leaving the predator confused and unable to relocate its target.”

Stick insects are insects that often mimic sticks, branches or leaves. There are over 6000 stick insect species on Earth, many of which are kept as pets.

Great Walking Stick sharing, Paula : )
    ...
.......from there to here and on and on it goes...

    Wow! Wow! Wow!
James and Chris and Lisa tonite, on the way to the truck from the waterfront after walking Our Pup.
We introduced ourselves and I simply started to share again because I was prompted to.. These beautiful young kids are being put in front of me every day now : )
After a little sharing James says, "Dan, why doesn't anyone talk like this?"
Then Chris jumps in and says " My Dad is a Vietnam Vet and 15 years ago was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He had no spiritual or religious leanings or beliefs whatsoever..He and my Mom were traveling out west while they could together. This young Woman was hitch hikng kind of out in nowhere and they picked her up. They just had some small talk but pretty much kept quiet. When they dropped Her off She said, "John, can I talk to You outside?" They had not given any names in the car, So John and Mom and the Lady got out together. She walked up to him and put her hand on his shoulder and said, "You have terminal cancer, don't you?"...He and his wife were dumbfounded. And she asks "Do You mind if I give You a long hug?" He looked at his wife and she nodded ok.The lady embraced him for a good minute or so before letting go. She said "I think they may help" and went on her way. Next time at the doctor's...in disbelief the doctor said " "John, the cancer is gone".
So You can imagine the rest of our conversation. I simply shared with them to try and do the simple things that make people smile,..the small things are huge. Try to think about how you would like to see better things around, the nicer changes, all the time if you can. And if You are being prompted continually to do something or go somewhere, do it! And on and on for a little while. We are little/big sacred lightning rod thing too.
They wanted to meet up again and I'm sure we will, They visit that place pretty often : )
    Little Big Changes Ahead!
    Love, Love, Love!

    Meet Prince Noah Ykant:

He's the child protagonist in one of my children's stories to do with self-confidence.

He lives with his parents in the castle on the mountain. The prince has to overcome his fear of laces (tying them in particular) so that he can wear the indispensible Prince Boots:

...and advance to leave the royal mountain.
