The "woman" near the end asks the question, if we consciously and consistently 'imagine' a world of abundance and peace and flourishing nature can we bring this about now...and the "scientist" replies, yes, but it is a difficult thing to do to show and convince enough other people of this so that the whole story we live by and actually help create can change.
He goes on in conclusion of the talk that if the story "we imagine" continues as it is things will continue as they are with war and hunger and so on and the computer world will quickly evolve into a god-like thing.
Which one do we want to imagine and bring about, now? Lets change the story, because We Can Together, One by One! Imagine It...With All of Our Hearts!

Michelle Marie, wishing you uplifting times, serenity and courage as you pass through your trials.
There have been so many, very many, instances of deep changes for us during the past year.

As we bring more strong love, images of harmony and sharing, and justice for all, it feels like a counter balance is running furiously trying to catch up.

Including all in this vision is the way, IMO ... recognizing that wrong has been done, but working to heal it for all, and perhaps especially the perpetrators if they have the will and grace within to accept love instead of greed, power, control, and hate.

I came home early today. It's been a weary week and my body was saying I have to rest now. Warm, relaxing home & couch is an antidote to cold, sometimes painful work environment. I know some folks in power are so insecure they have to be right all the time, and it's healing to let it go. Letting it go ....

Marvin Gaye's 1960's version of this song has crossed my path a couple of times recently. This version by the Playing for Change band is a fine update. I hope you all enjoy it.

It was a very hot 92 degrees at 6:00 P.M. and there was a fire in the forest on the mountain today that the Fire Department put out immediately. Whew...

Took care of some red tape and went through more memories. What to give away and keep? Sometimes overwhelming. Slow going at times.

Tomorrow taking the sweat lodge down.... don't know how well I'm going to fair.... but I've been putting it off.... and it's time. The lodge and the land need to heal for while... Going to pray and take a deep breath. Holding the Creator's hands.

Hoping music would sooth my emotions and
counteract the influence of the solar flares.

I've been shopping to furnish the new cabin, and found it to be an experience
which woke up my inner shopaholic, who was happily reeling in extasy.
And also found amazing bargains, which had me nearly hugging the shop assistants.
If I was to be employable, ( which I doubt, given my personality ) then it would be as a store buyer.

Since I live in raw nature, with few signs of civilization around me,
I follow my human instinct to "civilize" my environment.
Or is that just a female instinct?
I am now reminded of a brother-in-law who once said at a party,
"if it weren't for you women, we men would still be living in caves".

Ulli, I hope you post some pictures of the cottage when it's finished.

Street stores are an encouraging sign. When my husband and son went to Zimbabwe a few years ago, he ended up giving away all the clothes he brought, only kept what he wore back. Those beautiful people are so poor, they desperately needed clothes and food. All because of political unrest and war, and not being able to care for their land properly. They'd forgotten how to grow a garden, and one thing we helped fund was an agricultural school, that would spread teachings outward.

I've been listening to this. I expect they are seeing some leaf color up in the Northeast Kingdom.

Here is baby Danial who was born 3 months early on July 21st. He is doing well. Thank you again for all who sent healing energy his way.

I had to go back 2 pages to see what was going on with Dennis. Sending healing energy your way. Like a few others my internet time has been limited and my heart goes out to all who have been/are/will be experiencing monumental changes in their lives. It feels good to come and check in to see how everyone is handling all the challenges and forward movement (even though it seems we may take a few steps back at times). Just looking at little Danial's picture makes me happy. He already has had a powerful impact on the lives of many. Can't wait to get to know him better.

We unfortunately have to announce that during a scheduled minor procedure, Jerry Gaskill has suffered a heart attack during the post operation recovery, and as a result must undergo double bypass surgery within the next 72 hours. Jerry is stable and resting comfortably in the hospital. Due to the circumstances, King’s X has no other choice than to cancel all upcoming shows, and we hope that after Jerry recovers we will be able to schedule make up shows. Until then, all info and updates will be posted on all King’s X sites.
