Skyhaven in combination with Rudolf Steiner, try to beat such team!, is teaching me to pay attention to my state of mind.
I was reading Knowledge of the Higher Worlds today. It's really inspirational.
Preparation consists in a strict and definite cultivation of the life of thought and feeling, through which the psycho-spiritual body becomes equipped with higher senses and organs of activity in the same way that natural forces have fitted the physical body with organs built out of indeterminate living matter.

Its been a really good read for me too up until now... I 'am also definitely going to pay more close attention to the (subtle) tendencies of my mind/being that don't feel quite right yet... an ever evolving work in progress I guess.

"Since the dawn of time, mankind has been building amazing temples and monasteries in service to mankind’s spiritual needs and practices. We’ve compiled the photos of over a million travelers on minube to find the places that most inspire, astound, and simply take your breath away. From the jungles of Indonesia to the valleys of Tibet, here at the 19 most breathtaking holy places around the world."

Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar - According to the many travellers who pass it by – Myanmars Shwedagon Pagoda is one of the worlds greatest wonders. The vibe of it is just incredible, and at night it glows with a golden aura that is unparalelled in the world. It’s 100+ yard size is a beacon of connection and inspiration for all of Myanmar, and those who come and visit will be instantly tuned into its incredible vibes from chants, incense, and majesty. Click here for more photos of Shwedagon Pagoda

Lotus Temple, India - You may not find much peace and quiet in New Delhi, but the amazing Lotus Temple, home of the Baha’i faith is TRULY an oasis of tranquility. This building was built in 1980, surrounded by peaceful gardens and large interior space for people of all faiths to come and meditate together. The Baha’i faith is based around connection to ALL of the faiths, and an openeness in ones connection to the All. Click here for more photos of the Lotus Temple

Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe Chapel, France - If you were to venture to Southern France, you might find it to generally be dotted with scenic mountaintop churches… and yet, none are quite as breathtaking as the Chapel of Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe. This incredible chapel floats on the top of a massive craggy volcanic rock, and it will take you over 200 steps to reach the top…. and upon doing so, you will be greeted with one of the most incredible views you have ever seen in your life. Click here for more photos of Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe

Hagia Sophia, Turkey - The Hagia Sophia…What can one really say about it? It’s so unique and incredible that it really does need to be experienced to be described. This is one of the most architecturally influential houses of worship in the world. Travelers from all cultures and religions flock to behold her glory. It is truly a place of Unity and Connection beyond Race or Religion, and that’s what makes her such a stunning space of God. Click here for more photos of the Hagia Sophia

Basilica of San Vitale, Italy - The Basilica of San Vitale in Ravenna, Italy is one of the most important churches in early Christianity, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and an amazing experience for lovers of art and architecture. The hypnotically colorful mosaics are some of only a few in the world that remain from the time of Emperor Justinian I. Click here for more photos of Basilica of San Vitale

Spanish Synagogue, Czech Republic - Widely regarded as Europe’s most beautiful synagogue, the Spanish Synagogue in Prague is one of those places where you could literally spend hours admiring the Moorish-style geometric carvings and paintings covering literally every square inch of the interior. Don’t forget to check out the statue of famous Czech author Franz Kafka near the entrance. Click here for more photos of the Spanish Synagogue

Abu Simbel Temples, Egypt - To be honest, nobody truly knows when Abu Simbel was built. Many will claim that it was built by Pharaoh Ramesses II over 3,000 years ago, but even still there remains anomalies that suggest perhaps it was built a lot earlier than that. Much like the true age of the Sphinx, Abu Simbel stands as a testament to ancient architects and their master crafting ability which today it is unclear how they did it. Click here for more photos of Abu Simbel

Angkor Wat, Cambodia - The mighty Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia is another site which is tough to describe in words. To visit Angkor Wat is to immerse yourself in countless 900-year old temples, massive stone faces, sprawling jungles, and groups of young, saffron-robed monks. If it’s not on your bucket list, it should be. Click here for more photos of Angkor Wat

Tiger’s Nest, Bhutan - The Tiger’s Nest complex in the small mountain state of Bhutan is perhaps the world’s most famous hanging temple, and with good reason! After a tough three-hour hike, travelers arrive at this stunning monastery perched 3,000ft. above the floor of the Paro Valley. The interior shrines are no doubt amazing, but the view is one you’ll never forget. Click here for more photos of Tiger’s Nest

Why You Should Eat Avocado Seeds ( And Apple Seeds! )

Avocado seeds have more antioxidants than most fruits and veggies and contain polyphenols similar to those found in green tea. They are full of more soluble fiber than most foods, which aids in digestion and circulation. In South America, avocado seeds are used to treat dysentery and other GI tract problems. The seeds contain lots of phenolic compounds that can prevent bacterial and viral diseases as well as gastric ulcers.

Eating the seeds may also aid in the prevention of cardiovascular disease and strokes. Avocado seed lowered cholesterol levels and may protect against arterial plaque formation, according to a study published in the March 2012 journal Plant Foods in Human Nutrition. Researchers credited the seed’s high content of dietary fiber in lowering cholesterol levels by binding to cholesterol in the intestinal tract and preventing absorption.

Antioxidant activity of avocado seed might also stop cardiovascular disease by preventing lipid oxidation, a process that leads to arterial plaque formation.

Avocado seeds contain a range of antioxidant phytochemicals, including flavanols and proanthocyanidins. These important antioxidants protect your body from free radicals associated with aging and disease. A 2003 study found that the seed of an avocado is much higher in antioxidants, as much as 70 percent greater, than the fruit itself.

Avocado seeds also have natural antibiotic and anti-fungal benefits. According to one study, avocado seed extracts inhibited an assortment of pathogens, including Candida and the mosquito that carries the tropical disease, yellow fever.

    Step 1
Cut the avocado and remove the pit. To do this, slice into the avocado and cut it around the pit to remove the halves cleanly. Then insert the tip of your knife into the pit, twist and remove carefully, removing from the end of the knife. Use the avocado on sandwiches or in dips, remembering to save the pit.

    Step 2
Grind the pit into a find powder using a very powerful food processor. The pit is very dense and hard and can damage a weaker food processor. It should have very sharp blades and be contained completely.

The seeds can also be dried in a plastic bag. Once dried, crush them with a hammer and grind in a heavy duty blender. The seeds can also be sliced and roasted in the oven. Avocado seeds are bitter, so the best way to eat them is to add them to smoothies or juices.
For apple seeds - collect, grind and sprinkle, or like me when I was a kid- I used to keep the seeds in my mouth, 2-3 at a time, and later on chew them. I was not much into eating, but I was definitely into making it a fun thing.

Thanks for the tip, Chocolate. Definitely should try that one. Though when it comes to apple seeds, usually my dog eats them with the rest of my apple leftovers.

Yes, that's what I sensed too. It's just intriguing that people like him are able to put on so many different roles. I guess it's part of his deep personality, because he can transform into another person.

And this interview made me laugh too.

Some of Edgar Cayce's readings are a bit old-fashioned I guess, but I do think that they're still as relevant reminders as they once used to be. I have several books based on his readings, though most of the material I have absorbed from the net.

"Meditate, oft. Separate thyself for a season from the cares of the world. Get close to nature and learn from the lowliest of that which manifests in nature, in the earth; in the birds, in the trees, in the grass, in the flowers, in the bees; that the life of each is a manifesting, is a song of glory to its Maker. And do thou likewise!" ‪- ‎Edgar Cayce‬

I just realized something, I don't say often enough to all of you people that I love you, because I dearly do!

    Anahata

Also known as the 4th or Heart Chakra, the Anahata is our energy center from which love, joy, happiness and compassion eminate from. It also allows us to feel sorrow, sadness, anger, and lust, all of which are feelings of the lower heart chakra – but essential in understanding ourselves in this World, so that we may over-come them and move to the Higher Heart, where Pure, Unconditional Love exists.

It is the chakra of yang, or positive energy, connecting the lower chakras to the higher ones and is very important in your spiritual healing and evolutional development. When it is open fully, the Heart Chakra becomes what the Buddhists call Mahakaruna, A Channel for Universal Compassion – Our True Self. It is here where we invite this Infinite Love to flow through us, allowing it to heal ourselves and others. The lesson of the Heart is that we first must Love and Accept ourselves before we can Love Others.

When your heart chakra is in balance you will feel a great compassion for all living creatures, and will recognize their amazing intelligence! You will be kind, caring, understand, joyous and outgoing, feeling completely at ease with yourself and the people in your life. You will understand others and accept them for who they are; you will not judge or be critical of their actions. Spending time alone is something you do not mind, and you are not rushing into one relationship after another, infact, you would rather wait for the “right” one to come to you – because you know it will come to you when the time is right.

    Over-active Heart Chakra

If your heart chakra is over active you will be ruled by your emotions; sadness, anger, grief, despair, greediness and happiness will come over you with no or little control. You may be manipulative, over critical, and judgemental of yourself and others. Your love may have conditions, “I will only love you if you are this way….” and you are more likely than not a “people pleaser”, afraid that you will not be liked or accepted by others around you. You may find yourself in a relationship with a partner where you are always giving but not receiving, always forgiving, and “cleaning up” after them, whether it be emotionally, or physically. Co-dependancy can result from this, and you may find it hard to let go, of any relationship, that no longer serves your Highest Good.

    Under-active Heart Chakra

When your heart chakra is under-active you will probably be very negative in your thinking, and may find it very difficult to keep a positive out-look in life. You may feel unloved, unworthy and unappreciated, and this will manifest in the world around you, only confirming these “beliefs” about yourself. It is very likely that with an under-active chakra that your choosing the people you love, and the people you do not love. You have a hard time trusting others, and may have a difficult time “letting” them in, keeping yourself at a distance.

Physical Symptoms of a Heart Chakra Imbalance:

If you have an imbalanced heart chakra you may experience the following symptoms that have manifested in your body: Heart Palpitations, chest pain, poor circulation, high/low blood pressure, and in more serious cases, heart attack.

    Healing the Anahata

There are many ways one can begin to balance their Chakras, below you will find several useful methods, and a video that includes sound, colour and positive affirmations that pertain to the Anahata!!

Affirmation for the Heart Chakra: Love is the answer to everything. I am an infinite being full of Divine Love, which I give freely and openly accept from others!

Colour of the Heart Chakra: The heart chakra is associated with the colour green. Picturing the colour green in the centre of your chest will begin to balance it. Additionally, lighting green candles and having pictures of the green found in nature surrounding you will help your heart feel at ease, bringing balance.

Crystal Therapy for the Heart Chakra: Rose Quartz, Jade, Green Aventurine, Emerald, Green Tourmaline, Malachite, Rhodochrosite, Chrysoprase

Aromatherapy/Essential Oils for the Heart Chakra: Angelica, Marjoram, Hyssop, Lavendar, Neroli, Melissa, Rose, Chamomile, Ylang ylang, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Rosemary, and Frankincense

Healing the Heart Chakra with Nature: The Heart chakra’s element is air – sitting outside and feeling the breeze upon your skin, allowing your heart to feel it can be very beneficial. Because the colour green is around us in the trees and in the grass, going out walking, or laying in the grass and allowing the heart to feel it, can begin to bring it into balance!

Sound Therapy for the Heart Chakra: The Heart Chakra resonates to the note “B”, chanting YAM in this note will begin to balance it!

Thank you Agape, Kitaro has made some really beautiful songs.

"Only when love, patience, perseverance, long-suffering and brotherly love are shown may ye indeed know upon Whom to rely.

For of such is the law of creation, of hope, of faith, of patience. And in patience ye possess the knowledge of thy soul. Then how gave He? "AGREE with thine adversary quickly!"

In thy activities be ye wise, not in thy own conceit but in the knowledge that thou hast spoken, that thou dost speak oft with thy God in thyself." - Edgar Cayce
