Still driving around in rusted out old cars, and the other day I came to the understanding, via simple addition and observation, that I'm the best in the 'public' earth world, in six different things/areas. And any others I may set my mind to. An odd feeling, when one is just a simple backwoods boy. No real ego about it, just simple observation.

And to speak on useful things, a simple regimen that is about reducing Alzheimers- and reversing it.

something that I did in order to increase my own intelligence, was almost exactly as this regimen and it works for anyone, in general:

Quote (1) eliminating all simple carbohydrates, leading to a weight loss of 20 pounds; (2) eliminating gluten and processed food from her diet, with increased vegetables, fruits, and non-farmed fish; (3) to reduce stress, she began yoga; (4) as a second measure to reduce the stress of her job, she began to meditate for 20 minutes twice per day; (5) she took melatonin each night; (6) she increased her sleep from 4-5 hours per night to 7-8 hours per night; (7) she took methylcobalamin each day; (8) she took vitamin D3 each day; (9) fish oil each day; (10) CoQ10 each day; (11) she optimized her oral hygiene using an electric flosser and electric toothbrush; (12) following discussion with her primary care provider, she reinstated hormone replacement therapy that had been discontinued; (13) she fasted for a minimum of 12 hours between dinner and breakfast, and for a minimum of three hours between dinner and bedtime; (14) she exercised for a minimum of 30 minutes, 4-6 days per week.

Not sure I buy into astrology, certainly not these supposed personal horoscopes you see bandied around in the media
Even when it comes to astrology that is not the personal horoscopes (which I never read), there are still limitations...it doesn't really take the individual into account, their heart and their soul, their past lives (south node is very limited in this way and perhaps misleading)...people can give a cold reading without seeing/feeling/intuiting about and listening to people...several times I have been very misunderstood by interpretation of a few of my astrological positions, and it was rather painful to be arrogantly dismissed when I shared about if it was true for me or not...people can also get suspicious of a person because of one or more of their positions, or not believe in them in a certain way...it can be guilty until proven innocent...(or they will never be proven innocent when they are! the power of belief...), and people can pick on someone or single them out, because of their sun sign or other sign in their chart, as if something must be true for them and not others with different positions, when this might not be true or is less so than they think....Sometimes I wonder if some astrologers really care about truly understanding and knowing someone...if their astrological beliefs are more important to them than the truth of a person...no astrologer, like no human, is perfect, and we are all learning...

There is intuitive astrology, which is more rare, and these people not only can get a sense about a person quite well and also listen to them...I have an (internet) friend who is, and she is one of the rare ones that makes me feel more understood than most of the other astrologers or people into it, that I have met...my most accurate psychic reading was done without the psychic knowing my astrology (which I think made it even more accurate than it would have been...). Well this astrologer friend even told me that she knew exactly what I meant about not being understood and being dismissed and people forcing on you without listening, because it happened to her and she was an astrologer!

I do believe that astrology has some truth in it...and that it does influence our lives (sometimes without us knowing it or why)...but...it is only part of the truth of who we are and what effects us...and to me, a good and empathetic astrologer is one who is open to listening, from the heart...

To me, people with all sun signs, can be a really compassionate, highly sensitive person, or a serial killing psychopath...I remember hearing about a female serial killer in the US some years ago, she had sun in pisces - which is meant to be "the most compassionate sign"...(I have seen otherwise with people I have seen in my life, too, a few of them have a side that is very cold/harsh/bullying...)...and there was Mother Teresa who had sun in Virgo, who to me, seemed like one of the most compassionate people (and "virgos" are seen as being overly critical and needing to grow compassion...)...so to me, I don't usually care if I know someone's astrology or not (unless they want me to know it - then I care), what really matters is their heart, their soul, how they feel, what makes them happy, how they treat others...yes you can get some of this by seeing their astrological positions, but you will also get the opposite - not who they are...but this can happen anyway, without astrology, prejudices and wrong assumptions are common in this world...

So, really, it's up to the individual if they prefer to use astrology or not...there are other tools...

I love astrology and its imperfections and the study of the cosmos. We are part of the cosmos of spirit and soul. How deeply do we want to really understand and know something?

I forgot about Jupiter and Mars -No wonder I've become quiet and felt quiet, I could feel Saturn and electric Uranus.....go within. I'm ever the initiate, learning and growing.

Alright cat lovers, I need advice. My little Blue a-hole decides that about once every day or so he’s going to choose the carpet rather than the litter box…he’s tiny still, maybe 6 months…but seems to be regressing, not getting better. I did not think we’d have any problems, considering he has Yahtzee to teach him. I clean the boxes twice a day at least, and there is one on each floor (three total) all big enough for Yahtz who is triple his size, at least.

Also, his poo hasn’t been solid yet (since we got him)—should I be concerned?

Take kitten to the vet to be de-parasited. Kittys will go outside the box when they are experiencing discomfort, and the runny poo corroborates this theory.

Thanks!! I was worried the only discomfort would be from the litter box itself, which I have been meticulous about keeping clean. He seems so happy and healthy (outside his liquid movements, which i thought was adjustment from the "McDonalds" of catfood the SPCA was giving him to the more natural stuff I feed them) that it didn't occur to me it was physical...I thought it was pure behaviorly him being a brat about something (he is such an expressive baby!).

It is almost always a physical issue when a cat messes where they shouldn't, seldom is it purely psychological. Its also completely normal. Depending on what the vet finds in the stool sample, you might have to treat the other kitty, too, in which case they should give you the meds without bringing in the other for a visit.

When Ishtar came along, she was wild and had no clue about litter boxes. One night, she went under the table to do her business, Vishnu came along and saw what she was doing, and without taking his eyes off her he proceeded to make all of these weird head motions. About an hour later I was outside on the porch where the box was kept, and here comes little Ishtar, who proceeds to the box, does her business, complete with scratching inside and outside the box as Hobbes (who was no longer with us at this point) had taught Sita who taught Vishnu, who apparently had explained everything to do through his strange pantomime. It was the damnedest thing.

Yeah…I have been lucky in that every “first” cat and bunny I had, they intuitively used litter boxes, and I assumed all of the friends I got them learned from them (or preferred it to crapping on the floor too)

When I was in college, when cats (and even dogs) were put in new situations, their excretions seemed to be the behavioral expression of whatever was going on in their head. I was unfortunately in several smelly, messy “adjustments” in my day…and was always pleased since that my animal family never had any problems finding a synergy.

The way the dudes get along, I was worried that it was deep emotional issue with the Blue boy…hopefully the vet visit tomorrow the easing of his physical discomfort will prove me wrong. God, I love being WRONG!!

James Purefoy did a good job with 'Solomon Kane', IMO. The director and some of the film aspects did not come off as well as it could have and the time for such a film was about 5 years past due. It could have been one of the greats of that genera, with a little bit more of the right kind of effort in some ways and areas..but..no.
    Haven't seen SALOMON KANE.
I remember ROMA, the BBC tv series. Great Work on Marco Antonio.
Even Richard Burton or Marlon Brando had bad reviews on the same character .... i think So... give him time.

    Great Photos Meeradas!

I just learned that Obama has Chuck friggin Hagel as Secretary of Defense.

Now hopefully, no one here would have bothered their beautiful minds to have the illusion of significance that this “fact” implies. I was a devout follower and believer in the reality show that is US National Politics, and having stepped away from the tube (and newspapers, and any articles or discussions regarding this farce) for a decade, seeing the direction they’ve taken narrative (which requires a VERY short memory, GIANT capacity for cognitive dissonance, and ENOROMOUS ability to suspend disbelief), I would no longer be surprised if ebola is THE pandemic…or at least they’re hoping it to be…

My god, anyone who voted in aught-four and believes in it now has to be completely insane. All you people that talk about these cartoon characters as if they can be taken seriously (or make decisions, or are anything more than actors/puppets)…I…um….don’t have the words. I guess I think you should reconsider. Or maybe I’m wrong…hopefully…and misunderstand the reality I exist in.

One thing is for sure: I was very successful in being willfully ignorant. So tell me, who replaced Holder (I DO see the headlines of items that make the news for longer than a couple of hours, as much as I try to avoid them)…let me guess: Thomas Freidman? Oh wait, I know: The corpse of Alan Greenspan? He’s not dead yet??? Maybe there is no God…ay yay yai!!! Where's some kitty memes???

I remember my cat peeing in the crate the first day she landed at home.
When the door of her bathroom was closed, she came looking for us.
I also remember that she was coming to pick me "all their bristling hairs" (playing a furious feline) to play with me. Then, she walked like a human imitating an egyptian picture... and dissapear in a second, for a while.

    Hello Villagers

I'm sending out an SOS aksing the universe to let me find pple IRL that i can have the same discussions with as here on Avalon. I have one Aquarian friend but she lives far a way and she is oversensitive to electricity and i can talk to my 92 year old Aquarian father but he has diminished sight and no computor and cannot provide himself with information.

Well actually my recent Scorpio therapist who treats me for Lyme has been a UFOresearcher in Sweden but we can't take too much time from my consultations to discuss that. He also made discoveries for Ericson the telecom company so he surely must have a strong Uranus. Uranus just conjoined my Nort Node in Aries so that might be a positive sign it will happen

And remember; it's a person having a horoscope not the other way around. Gandhi and a famous serial killer have very similar charts but they were on opposite levels of spiritual development. Gandhi was very interested in weaponry and warfare before he started the NON violent movement and liberated India form the English. He also was killed with a gunshot; he got the violence in projection.
