    Hi,
    I just tested this with a little plastic snowglobe on my desk. The bottom is clearly stamped "made in China" ... the barcode label clearly states "made in China".... yet the bar code number is: 0 50122 22311 5

    Which is supposed to be "made in Canada or USA"

    Sigh

    if they are shipped NOT filled with water - then, the final assembly might be canada/or usa - thus the 0-5

    it's a sneaky way; manufacturers are getting around 'the law'

    May be the wrong thread but............

    According to Dr. Joseph Mercola, physician and activist, you can determine the following by looking at the label:

    * Conventionally grown food (not GM, not organic): 4 digit PLU
    * Organic food: 5 digits starting with a nine
    * GM food: 5 digits starting with an eight

    We are a proud Made In USA manufacturer. This will help educate our new customers.
    Website will be up and running in 2 weeks. Product will be ready to ship in 6-8 weeks.
