Is being an ignoramus a serious illness?

I am in recovery (as you can see).

    It's called the Infinite-Step Program.

Yes, I spent a month first time and soon after a year in hospital in the late eighties , quite a lot of the time in isolation with a condition which has never been diagnosed or received treatment for, which was like having malaria attacks three or four times a day, very unpleasant and debilitating.

I was unconscious and or disapeared into to my own mind for long periods during this time reliving my travels around the Middle East and Europe , my body obviously suffered as I did not eat , lost lots of weight, lots of muscle loss etc. opinion was split between I was a fake or going to die but one day I got out of bed and forced my self to get better, a long and slow recovery followed but totally renewed and with a new philosophy in life, not sure I knew what I wanted to do but knew there was lots of things I would never do or tolerate again.

Many of my friends at times in their lives have asked me wether I thought I was going to or was afraid that I was going to die and honestly I can say that I always knew that was never going to happen, it was not my time.

Since life has taken lots of new directions, lots of great new experiences, and I believe a strong positive mental attitude can achieve almost anything.

I hope this helps if help is needed

Yes, fully recovered. I had a disease called Macrophage syndrome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macroph...ation_syndrome) when I was 4-5 years old. They didn't know what to do with me here locally where I live so I was sent to the hospital in san fran. They finally diagnosed me with MAS months after it started and found just 4-5 other people with it in the entire country. When one gets MAS they usually get junior rheumatory arthritis. I remember episodes of laying in bed and my joints being in so much pain that I was screaming. I remember little episodes throughout my illness just like everybody does when they go through these kinds of things. I was eventually given some steroid(where I got super bloated, I have some pictures of this lol) which cured me. Ever since I have had no complications, just your average flu. Nobody knows how I got it but my mom thinks that when the house I used to live in got sprayed with pesticides that I inhaled it and became sick that way. But I know that it happened for a reason and that without that event maybe I wouldn't be the same person as I am today.
I miss those days when we played as kids. No worries about our future, no enemies. Now I close my eyes, trying to go back there with my mind. Oh how I wish I could relive those old times again.

yep , I had yellow fever once , and I've had Mersa twice ... the military tested some virus on my whole company , 100 men all got sick at once after getting six shots , every six weeks we had to get six shots , a mandatory protocol for the first to fight combat troops at Ft. Bragg , to be ready to deploy anywhere in the world and fight for three days without resupply or backup ... for three years we were fine until they gave us some experimental medicine and it took all of us down for one week ... consequently in my fourth year I had enough of being a lab rat and got out of the Airborne division at Bragg ...

Amythest, you asked me (I think) if Iodine was a manifestation of the purple flame. I think it is. That flashed into my mind too when I was looking at a bottle.

Thank you all for sharing, it's good to see positive stories where people have got their health back.

I sometimes use the 'Six Doctors technique'- I go through the list of 6 Doctors in the second link I dropped. And google the illness in all their databases. In 60 minutes you can make a doc file of suggestions.

    I'd start with Dr Schulze...
